PS Essentials sale up on the Canadian PSN store right now, I'm assuming this is also on the US store. Some insane discounts at 50% for regular users and 60% for PS Plus users. I already have Mortal Kombat XL Edition and Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition on disk, but for $7.99 and $5.99 I'll pick them up again to have some digital backups.

^yeah, they're on the US store as well (wait, you live in Canada?)
I have all of the older stuff that interests me but I'm damn tempted to grab one of the RDR2 bundles for $20 off.

An absolutely fantastic Humble Monthly this time, with Mutant Year Zero and Northgard as early unlocks! Absolver is unlocked as well but I don't think it's my kind of game. Still worth for MYZ & Northgard alone!

From now until April 8 (aka until WrestleMania 35) Steam's got WWE 2K19 on super-slashed sale: $20 for the standard version, $30 for the digital deluxe version which includes the game and all the DLC.
Also, anyone with X-Box One and X-Box Live Gold, Soul Calibur 6 is at a super-slashed price today and tomorrow under their Deals With Gold umbrella.

Humble Monthly has Assassin's Creed Origins (plus several mystery games). Get it if it's your cup of tea. I personally think that last month's bundle was great.

Big Spring Sale for XBOX right now, and I'm eyeing a couple of potential candidates. Anyone here play,
Wolfenstein 2: The new colossus
and/or
Assassins Creed: Origins
Both have been on the radar for a while, and the prices are good. Any input or suggestions? I'm leaning towards Wolfenstein, it's been a while since my last Assassins Creed game.
Thanks!
PS: Anyone play Bomber Crew and/or Shadow of war? Bomber Crew has been an interesting one from for a while and it's CHEAP right now!

I have 113 hours logged in to Bomber Crew. So I really enjoy it. I also have Shadow of War but it's still on the backlog, but I loved Shadow of Mordor so buying Shadow of War day one was a no brainer since they seemed to have expanded on everything about the original.
Also I just found out the Shadowgate Remake just hit PS4. I was a kickstarter backer on the PC version when that came out years ago as I loved the original on the NES and the same guys that did the original version did the remake.

I liked AC Origins a lot; I actually listed it as one of my top ten favorite games on here in another thread somewhere. I'll link to it if I get back on via computer and not mobile later, because I said more about it than I can reproduce here.
But, in a nutshell: the setting is fascinating (and deeply researched; you won't find an ancient Egypt as immersive anywhere); I really dig the protagonist, Bayek, who for me hits a perfect balance between "cold enough to be a killer" and "likable enough to spend hours playing as"; I like the newly-more-difficult combat that encourages you to use stealth because enemies are DANGEROUS, and not to tick boxes on an obnoxious "full-sync objectives" list; the game is flat-out gorgeous - the first time I paddled a boat across a murky pond and saw the sun shining through the green-tinged waves I was making, I had to stop and take a picture I of it.
I've played almost every Assassin's Creed game since the first one, and Origins is my absolute favorite - even the also-stellar Odyssey didn't bump it off for me. I'd recommend it super highly.
As for Wolfenstein, it's not as much my cup of tea (I'm actually horrible at shooters) but people whose cup of tea it is seem to really dig it. You can play a free trial of it on XBox, but the game does start very slowly, so it may not be fully representative.

I remember reading your origins write up, it was the reason I have been thinking of trying it. Give the new wolfenstein a try, Old Blood is cheap and a great game (easily a top twenty favourite), dark humour laced, quite gory with satisfying combat, it takes itself much less seriously than the other games, but is a lot of fun to play (and it has Rudi Jaeger!...).Bomber Crew might just be an auto yes, it’s five bucks I think, thanks Nth!
