Injustice 2 Legendary Edition was $30 on PS4, and just like that, I'm All In and playing Injustice 2 for the first time. This game is appealing to my love of gear and crazy new looks for DC characters, and conflicting with my general terribleness at fighting games.
I officially love playing as Hellboy. Best moment was him facing off in battle against Enchantress.
"You can't tell, but I'm blushing right now." "Don't be so modest, Anung Un Rama!" "...How do you know my goddamn name?!"

Still waiting for Banner Saga 3 to pop up on the store. They seem to be having problems putting it up because sometimes it's listed but won't let you purchase and other times it's gone again. I've been checking off and on all day. Think I may also pick up Moonlighter and that Space Invaders remake with the fancy graphics since it's only $6.

I started up the Misadventures of Tron Bonne as I couldn't resist picking up the at one time ultra expensive game for $3 during a PSN sale some time back, so I figured I should get around to giving it a shot. All I've figured out is that I have a flying base of operations where I plan missions and plenty of staff that I can level up so... I'm pretty sure this is just MGS V again.

I was always curious about that game. I enjoyed using her and Kobun in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 :)

I noticed "Enter The Gungeon" was on sale on the Switch for like 8 bucks so I grabbed it. Fun enough little twin stick shooter type of game (though it can be awkward to control when you're not using the controller setup and have to hold the entire switch). I'm not great at it, but it's that kind of game where it's almost as much fun to suck at it as it can be to do well at it.

You initially start with three mission types, one a Mega Man Legends-esque "attack a town to steal stuff" action type, a grid based block puzzler type, and a first person almost dungeon crawl where you direct the servbots to look for treasure. You also level them up by playing mini-games between missions, send them out to scout for treasures, give them stuff to unlock special abilities among other random things. It very much feels like one of those "lets just toss all the ideas we have in there and shake" games. So basically exactly like MvC 2 :P

It very much feels like one of those "lets just toss all the ideas we have in there and shake" games. That is even weirder than I thought it was going to be!! Especially the dungeon crawler. Kind of love the idea of leveling up the servbots and sending them on tasks and missions though. It very much feels like one of those "lets just toss all the ideas we have in there and shake" games. So basically exactly like MvC 2 :P on MvC 2 lolol. Actually, my favorite thing about that game was the cast. It kept me going even after I realized how much I hated the oversimplified and underwhelming 4 button control scheme vs. the old 6 button one. I'd 100% much rather play MSH vs. SF or Xmen vs. SF or MSH than any of the M vs C games.

Took a break from time devouring No Man's Sky to scratch the sawing motherf$%kers in half with a chainsaw bayonet itch and revisited my unfinished Gears of War 4 campaign. What an awesome game. Lots of annoying, I'm too cool for school smalltalk bullshit between the three main characters, but at it's heart, it's still Gears. :)
Also cracked open the change purse and did the Tekken Bowl DLC. Dayum I love me some Tekken 7, and Tekken Bowl is a fun pallet cleanser after being humbled by ever increasingly difficult adversaries!

Dragon Quest XI?!? What happened to IX and X? Were they any good?
And, still playing No Man's Sky.
My shack, the Odomes Memorial Base. I've position the flags so that they look like the face of a panda. My front door neighbor is a small Korvax spaceport that I use as a parking garage, my back door neighbor is an abandonned base I use to farm whispering eggs. Oh, and a flock of dragon-like things hang around, so I feed them and pick up their crap.
And yes, I'm making my NMS game Fire Pro based. The second system I'll visit will be named after community legends, the third one will be named after my fellow edit creators, eventually I'll name some after series' defaults.
