3/4 through Rainbow Moon. Want to start Rainbow Skies as soon as I'm done. I'm also getting a pretty hard craving to take a run through the Shadowrun series again. I always tell myself I am going to build a character other than a Street Samurai, but being able to use guns and swords is too hard to give up.

I'll be playing some Enter The Gungeon later today. According to the developers, their latest major update, Advanced Gungeons & Draguns, should be out around 10 am eastern today. It's supposed to make the drop rate of better guns more frequent, so anyone who was turned off by the difficulty might want to check it out.
Also got a pre-order down for Warioware Gold, out in early August. 300 microgames spanning the series history. Should be a blast (pun intended for previous paragraph).

Got Dark Cloud on PSN for sale. I think I still own the game on PS2, but lack the console and would have to find my MIA memory card. Also never finished it so figured "why not?" Jesus the game is brutal. Level 5 is clearly the dev team.
Also been playing Rogue Stormers, a twin-stick Metroidvania that has a lot of moments where it divulges into a bullet hell. It's pretty difficult but fun.
Battle for Azeroth is just around the corner, but Im finally off the fence and will likely just skip it. Friends had me kinda pumped to raid again, but then decided to switch factions (solely due to a girlfriend not wanting to play Horde..) and our tanks arent playing tanks.

Been playing the first Trails in the Sky game on my PSP during my morning & evening commute. Really enjoying it. Just a nice, inoffensive little JRPG.
Part of a trilogy and they're all on PSP, so that may be my commuting time sorted for the foreseeable future..

Been toying with Championship Manager 01/02 (reminder : this most excellent football managing game is legally free info/download on champman0102 ) since a couple of week using the Tapani patch (especially as it is much better for the CPU when the game is idling) and the latest database update (from march 2018) . For fun i decided to take control of a club from my real life area, that is currently in the 3rd division in my country. After several months , we're now last of that league and lost nearly all our matches (except one at home in which we managed a draw). Wonder how i will manage to reverse this disaster of a season before i get fired and go toy with TEW 2005 for some free wrestling management fun :D CM 01/02? Boy, that is old school.

But I could not go back to champman after my latest FM shenanigans. What is your team?

I'm finally getting a PS4 this weekend, in preparation for Red Dead 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. The only game I have in mind to get now is Horizon Zero Dawn, or maybe God of War, or Star Wars Battlefront. Based on these interests, any recommendations of what I might wanna get instead or as well?

I’ve browsed the forums and there’s talk of official, unofficial patches... data updates (10 years of workk and editing). Any tips for a first timer who wouldn’t at all mind playing an improved version of the game with the 01/02 roster, in terms of what to download?

Sonic Mania- just got the physical copy and the game is impressive to say the least.
Octopath Traveler- generally not a turned based RPG fan but have been trying to expand my horizons in that regard thus I will say the story of the character I selected seems interesting so far. Olberic I think his name is?
The old Arcade Street Fighter games released on the Switch- still top quality fun to be had after all these years proving the classics never die.
So other than these and aside from Fire Pro World I've basically been retrogaming these days with the various new implements for this from the Framemeister to the Super NT to the Hi Def NES to the Super SD System 3 for the PC Engine and many of krikzz flash carts such as SD2SNES, Mega Everdrive and the like its been a lot of fun getting away from all the modern day supposed triple A nickle and diming gaming garbage that has become increasingly politicized and overhyped in recent years when most of these games can't hold a candle to their 8 and 16 bit predecessors in terms of quality gameplay, replayability and pure fun to be had.

Where are you planning on buying it and what model are you getting? Ghost of Tsushima is a great choice. I think God of War is probably a great way to get into the new current generation. (It's still new to me, damnit! )

So I haven’t played a good game of footy since PES13 on my ancient laptop. I’ve browsed the forums and there’s talk of official, unofficial patches... data updates (10 years of workk and editing). Any tips for a first timer who wouldn’t at all mind playing an improved version of the game with the 01/02 roster, in terms of what to download? as you mention PES, it's important to note that CM 01/02 is a management game, you don't play any match yourself like in a FIFA or PES game. Step 1 Download the official game iso champman0102.co.uk/downloads.php?do=file&id=2Step 2 Download the latest official patch 3.9.68 champman0102.co.uk/downloads.php?do=file&id=3From there, you can install the game then install the patch and play the original game with the 2001/2002 season, even if it's freeware none bothered to remove the cd check sadly so either you can mount the iso to play or you can use a nocd (no link due to forum rule, but gamecopyworld has one) i if you want to get rid of the iso. --- IMPORTANT --- on more or less modern OS you will need to right click on the game executables and change the compatibility to Window 98 in order for the game to work, and possibly run as administrator too. But you can go further : Step 3 there's 2 unofficial patches you may want to use, choose one The Tapani patcher : champman0102.co.uk/downloads.php?do=file&id=268Using the patcher you can patch the cm0102.exe , it will fix tons of bugs and add new feature (faster speed, much much better CPU management and to me that's a real must as the game by default stupidly use lots of CPU even on screen where nothing happens, etc..) --- IMPORTANT --- : if you wish to play with the latest data update, make sure the year is set to 2015 (yeah, even if you play with the 2018 data, you need it to 2015, not less not more, exactly 2015) The Saturn patch : champman0102.co.uk/showthread.php?t=10794It's basically the Tapani patch but with work continued on it as Tapani does not make patches anymore himself. It's more complicated to make it work so read the post linked for the exact steps. An important note is that unlike the Tapani patch , this Saturn patch will only work on the original cm0102.exe , if you replaced it by a nocd you will not be able to use the Saturn patch for some reason. Step 4 : Download a data update if you want to play a different season than the default 2001/2002 one the latest one at the time is march 2018 : champman0102.co.uk/downloads.php?do=file&id=310extract and put all the files in ....\Championship Manager 01-02\Data\ , overwriting files of the same name to obtain players, clubs, divisions at the march 2018 time NOTE : it is not required to use either Tapani or Saturn patch , you can play with the data update even without them, but for the CPU management massive improvement, i really recommend it (i play with the Tapani patch myself, not the Saturn one) NOTE 2 : if you went to install the Saturn patch, do not download the data update , follow exactly all the instruction in the Saturn thread opening post as it require a special version of the data update. If you applied Tapani or Saturn patch, you may have wanted to allow larger interface resolution, so you will need to find background/interface of the correct size as the game does not autosize the default files (that are 800*600, i personnally kept them like that) , said new pictures and custom ones can be found in this section of the board : champman0102.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=13
