I can't believe how good the Spiderman story was. What a perfect game. I just restarted on higher difficulty, can't get enough it's all I can think about god damn it I have shit to do HELP

Well, I 100%'d Spider Man twice, still not bored of it. Great gameplay, great story, great voice acting, great side tidbits in the form of in-game podcast and social media feed and other world details adding to story. This thing really took me by surprise and kept me there. Can't wait for DLC (though by that time Red Dead probably out and the only thing I'll be swinging is my horse's balls).

Still hitting' spiderman, not a good game for me because I'm an OCD psycho and am insisting on doing all of the side missions and have barely cracked into the story. I finally did the sweet helicopter part that they showed off at one game expo or another. The game is really incredible, I know I am preaching to the choir here, but damn this thing is something.
In other news, there's a FIST OF THE NORTH STAR DEMO in the PS store right now! I've been kicking seven shades of shit out of EVERYONE and it's awesome! Feels just like Yakuza, no surprise there though, but has a bit of a manga look to it (marginally cell shaded kinda gimmick). I tried the battle mode a couple of times (culminates in a fight with Shin.... :D ) and will soon try adventure mode. Great stuff, finally a good representation of the classic manga, my only suggestion if you're going to try the demo is switch the audio to Japanese with English subtitles at the main screen, the dubbed voices are trash (not because the voice acting sucks, but because Hokuto No Ken needs to be in Japanese, and Kenshiro's voice is a shot of fine Japanese whisky spiked with polonium 210, you MUST hear it!). Great shit, and it's FREE!!!

I beat Lost Odyssey for the second time yesterday, I really enjoyed revisiting it and I think it's criminally underrated.
I'm about to beat Legend of Hero's: Trails of Cold Steel. Final boss. I honestly can't wait to put this one behind me, not a bad game by any means but my god what a slog.
I'm also in the early/middle of Dragon Quest XI, it's a beautiful game and I'm enjoying it greatly.
And I'm expecting my Switch copy of Megaman 11 tomorrow which I very exciting.

Ive been pondering dragging out my 360 and going back to Lost Odyssey. I had just got Mack and my friend deleted my save by mistake and I never went back in.
I really need to play through the Valkyrias to prep for 4, though.

Deep Sky Derelicts now out in full. I've been playing the early access of the game for almost a year and the devs have been adding content to it monthly and now it's going full release
Any Darkest Dungeon fans will immediately be able to pick up on this as the games are very similar. Instead of maintaining a massive roster of characters you only control a team of three at any given time, but like Darkest Dungeon there is a hardcore mode featuring permadeath and the need for new bodies who can be hired. Instead of a Hamlet providing your base of operations it's a space station. The same super addictive gameplay as Darkest Dungeon but in a new setting heavily inspired by the artwork of Heavy Metal magazine.
