I forgot to mention to that he kicked out of the Core Meltdown! Damn, King making a statement! 😲 That's a huge deal but I'm not totally surprised as I consider him S-Tier 😎 (Robin: And Kathy is asS-tier 🍑 ) Also I should note: Jerry Krait vs Grenville was planned to be the SFU Contender's Match since Krait beat O'Brian in DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo, but since Krait also won the PGCW Openweight title and Grenville was challenging for it anyway I called an audible and made it for the belt too. Plus MCW and A-1's titles have both been defended in SFU events so I figured PGCW should have one there too. This means Grenville is a double champion who may potentially become a TRIPLE champion. Krait would have also had that distinction if he won as he's also MCW champ though that title was not on the line at SFU. Anyway, I'll probably be dropping the PROMO'T/next card post soon, which will include Grenville's first challenger and possibly more info on who the masked man who attacked Ryan 0 is.
Wow, Grenville and Krait both moving up in the world. I think I missed Krait beating Corey! That is a huge accomplishment and golden feather in his cap. Grenville beating Krait and becoming double champion is a huge deal too. A lot of people with top bragging rights walking around right now 😎

Shortly after Somewhere Far Beyond, Walter Cranston was addressing a rowdy roster.
Cranston: "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ENOUGH. Okay, so... I've been told that the guy who attacked Ryan 0 after his match is called SIGMA. Steven O'Brian says he's his new protege."
The roster keeps yelling unintelligably.
Cranston: "I cannot confirm or deny if it's Scott under that mask. I tried to call him but it went to voicemail. Far as I can tell, nobody has been able to get in touch with him, not even Loco Davis. The State Athletic Commission will not act without anything concrete..."
Cranston pauses.
Cranston: "Where the hell is LIBRA?"
Team Rib Rolls look over and rush to the side, camera follows them and they come across a beaten down LIBRA. Above him is posted a message:
"YOU STARTED THE FALL
WE ARE THE END
WE ARE THE MIASMA" ---------- The Guild Promo:
Sam S McCloud: "First off I want to thank my brother GAMEOVER for providing much-needed emotional support in our title match."
Mitchell Williams: "And anyone who says he helped us win illegally, that is SLANDER and I will SUE you."
Sam S McCloud: "PGCW is in a bubble, an old boys club. We're here to smash the system. Meteor smash it. Team Crawling Chaos, you're nothing but a T-Virus infecting this company, and we're going to make you see STARS." ------------- CHICKEN CLUB Promo:
Alex Kelley: "Well, Arch Rivals didn't get a tag title shot and CHICKEN CLUB won't be celebrating at Flanigan's, but we still got trips to the ol' Pay Window so there's that. Not only that, but Jim's gonna go mano a mano with Florida Man. We haven't forgot what you did to Terra you sick fucker, and Jim's gonna make you regret it by caving in your skull with elbows alllll day. But more importantly! DOYLE MY MAN, YOU GONNA HIT THE BIG ONE! WE ALL CHAMPS IN THE CLUB BABY!"
Doyle Copeland: "Uh... yeah. Yeah. I um. I'm... gonna get killed, aren't I?"
Alex Kelley: "Hey, hey. Okay, Grenville's a scary motherfucker. He's unbeaten. But we're CHICKEN CLUB. I'm a former Openweight champ. So is Eric, so is Ken, so is Jim. You got this. We're gonna be five for five man and we will help you train your ass off. You'll drop that steroid freak with a Chicken SLAMwich and we will be back on top!"
Doyle Copeland: "You... you don't really believe that thing William King said about him being the son of Grendel right?"
Alex Kelley: "Please, like anything supernatural is working here."
Eric Kelley: "I mean, there was DESPAIR."
Jim Rival: "And Rallaster."
Ken Archer: "Yeah didn't Rallaster have some kinda magical mojo on King for a minute?"
Jim Rival: "And that summoning thing King did in the first place."
Alex Kelley: "Okay okay. But THIS time, he's just a man. Right? Right."

PGCW Theatre of Pain
After Mary MacGregor picked Kelly C apart before dumping her with a powerslam, we opened the show proper with a Battle Royale for the Creative Commons title; the unpredictable Mongo would become a two-time champion, eliminating four of the field single-handedly including Goblin Scarecrow thanks to the devastating Mongo Boot; the last time Mongo held the CC title it earned him a title match and it looks like it may happen again. CHICKEN CLUB and the trio of Tristan Belmont and Plane Shaift went to war but Ken Archer countered a Murder Dragon spinkick with a dropkick to the knee DURING the kick following it up with his diving Double Stomp for the pinfall. Longtime tag rivals battled as the Killer Knees battled the Kings of the North; it seemed like the Knees would get a rare win over the viking duo but Hjalmar Susi forced a submission via kneebar on Electric Monkey. In a grudge match stemming from Florida Man's involvement in the brutal mauling of his sister Terra, Jim Rival would battle Florida Man and spiking him on the crown of his head with a Rival Driver. Meanwhile the official tag debut of The Miasma would be spoiled despite their mentor Steven O'Brian getting involved, Matthew Turtle delivering Thicc Air to Guy Jordan, cracking his ribs and rendering him unable to continue. The PGCW Tag Team Championship match between Team Crawling Chaos and The Guild never happened when not only GAMEOVER would join the champs in an ambush but also Lara Lockhart, forcing Matt Weston to throw the match out and security getting involved. An incensed Kathy Queen challenged Lara Lockhart (who is currently suspended by the Florida State Athletic Commission) to a Lights Out match. Meanwhile in a match without rope breaks LIBRA would go over twenty-five minutes with Robert Garavito in a thrilling bout but after a low blow missed by referee Cindi Slam, the Torture Killer would catch LIBRA in a Victory Roll, using the ropes for added leverage to get the pin. In the official main event Doyle Copeland shocked everyone by going toe to toe with the behemoth Grenville for the Openweight title; he focused on the monster's arm throughout the match keeping Grenville from being able to heft him for the Godslayer Bomb but despite landing a perfect Chicken SLAMwich couldn't get the cover; Grenville answered with a flying elbow with his good arm for the three count. Then the lights would flicker to signal the Lights Out match between Kathy Queen and Lara Lockhart, each agreeing to leave their male alles backstage to settle the score. Weapons were thrown in the ring and were used liberally, Queen being cut open by a barbed wire bat early on. The battle went all around the Proving Ground and Lara Lockhart pulled out all the stops including a Rolling Cutter onto another barbed wire bat but in the end Queen delivered not one but TWO Mind Flayers in a row on a steel chair for the pinfall. 0. PGCW The Doctor Is In
After The Viscont and Geoff The Gimp aka The Legion of Lewd knocked off Tommy Knock and Willy Jakes in the pre-show, the monster Mongo faced off former CC champ Brian Saint of Hollywood Knights; Saint would choke out Mongo on the floor taking advantage of the no-advantage ruleset to become a two-time champ. In a fast-paced duel of veteran high-fliers Eric Kelley would best Spider Jack with the "Parameter Loop" (450). In a grudge match Team Rib Rolls would best Steven O'Brian and Guy Jordan of The Miasma in a marathon battle, managing to best the veteran member of the duo after following their "UpDog" (Flapjack -> Double Knee Facebreaker) into a Turtle half crab; but SIGMA would join the other Miasma members to beat them down after the bell. In a mat-heavy battle Tristan Belmont battled Alex Kelley in a thriller, but an attempt at "Seras Victoria" (British Fall) from the top was countered with a sunset flip for Kelley to win. The Kings of the North continued their winning streak against a very game Arch Rivals after Halla flattened Archer with a splash. LIBRA was uncharacteristically out for blood against SIGMA, hitting not only "Celestial Event" (Phoenix-Plex) but also "Reverse Celestial Event" (Kinniku Buster) en route to "Cosmic Balance" (Swandive Senton) for the win. The last time the PGCW Openweight Title was seventh on the card and Robert Garavito was challenging a monster, it ended with Garavito nearly ripping the shoulder out of the monster's socket. Grenville however is a whole other kind of beast and the intense brawl went in and out of the ring. Garavito went for "Geneva Convention" (Crossface) but Grenville easily powered out. An attempt at "Godslayer Bomb" (Last Ride) was countered by Garavito with an eye gouge but a second one landed, nobody kicks out of it and that applies tonight, title retained by Grenville. But now for the main event, Queen's Dungeon, the sadistic cage with barbed wire boards, exploding barbed wire bats, and light tubes all involved. Team Crawling Chaos and The Guild went to war for over half an hour, weapons flying and blood pouring out of all four competitors. King and Queen delivered their deadliest moves and The Guild their most low-down of tactics, but in the end Queen choked out the veteran Sam S McCloud with a Cthulhu Clutch to make Team Crawling Chaos three-time PGCW Tag Team Champions, a feat that only one other duo has accomplished as a unit. The two bloodsoaked lovers would make out over the also bloodsoaked body of Sam S McCloud to celebrate to close the night, but with Queen scheduled to face Lara Lockhart in three weeks in a Light Tube Match it's guaranteed that Crawling Chaos and The Guild have not seen the last of each other. 0. My God has forsaken me and I am damned. So if I am damned, then I shall earn my damnation. But my damnation will be paved with the blood of the wicked. John Carlton, you shall be judged. But know your judgment is merely the beginning, for I hunt a true monster. I hunt Grenville." ----------- LIBRA: "Sometimes even those who deliver cosmic justice must be put on trial. If it will shut you up. ONE match in PGCW. And because I respect what you've done as one of PGCW's original wrestlers... I'll see about giving you SIGMA at SFU's next show too. But I want you to understand one thing. If you do prove SIGMA and Scott Saphyre are one and the same... he may never get to wrestle in Florida again. Are you SURE you want this?" PGCW Fix'er Upper
After a pre-show battle where the Raiders of the Wasteland dispatched the Karma Chameleons with ease, Brian Saint looked to defend the Creative Commons gold against DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo standout John Carlton however after a mental error where he pinned Carlton after a "666 Splash" (Double Moonsault) too close to the ropes allowing a break, fell victim to a 450 Splash by the Stuntman for the three count. Meanwhile in a chaotic battle the Alliance of Violence would knock off the Arch Rivals thanks to the "Meth Grip" (Anaconda Vice) of the Florida Man. In a thrilling bout of high flying vs mat prowess Spider Jack triumphed over Tristan Belmont thanks to "Daddy Long Legs" (Diving Legdrop). Meanwhile in a marathon bout The Guild would get a win over their rivals in the Kelley Brothers thanks to an alleged roll of quarters by Mitchell Williams. In the three-way dance, Murder Dragon would stand stall, first pinning Teri Parker with "Calamity Trigger" (Code Red) then Robert Garavito with the Shooting Star Press. It was questionable if Kathy Queen would be cleared to compete after suffering both a light tube deathmatch and a sadistic beatdown during the Amazon-1 show, but she and William King showed up and brought the fight to the Kings of the North to defend their newly won tag team championship; however after a backbreaker on the floor and being dumped on his head violently on a chair, William King was knocked loopy and unable to answer the 20 count meaning the titles changed hands in controversial fashion. Meanwhile returning for one night only Ben "Loco" Davis aligned with Team Rib Rolls looked to do battle with The Miasma; Davis tried to focus on SIGMA (believing him to be Scott Saphyre who is supposed to be medically suspended) but The Miasma had a game plan and SIGMA would floor Matthew Turtle with his own "Turtle Power Bomb" (Blue Thunder) into an "Armbar of Corruption" (Seated Armbar) to get the win. Lastly the Openweight Title was on the line as LIBRA looked to unseat the behemoth Grenville. However Grenville was in top form tonight, possibly looking forward to his duel with Xander Starr for the South Florida Championship, and had little issue putting LIBRA away with the "Godslayer Bomb" (Last Ride), which nobody has yet to kick out of. SFU Clash At The Coast II
After a warmup where South Florida wrestling legend October Raven would knock off Willy Jakes, the first of the PGCW vs MCW matches would take place as the Raiders of the Wasteland would knock off CHICKEN CLUB when Flesh caught Alex Kelley with Flesh Magic; the Kelley Bros are MCW Tag champs so the Raiders making a bid for those belts. William King and Michael Ferrum would have a main-event worthy war ending with a Knee Trembler followed by the dreaded Cthulhu Clutch. In non-rivalry action Holly Houghton and Alena Sturmbjorn would best Kellie Shark and Lucy Morgenstern; Houghton would hit a PK on Shark, Morgenstern would break it only for Houghton to do it AGAIN for the three count. Back to PGCW vs MCW action as Ben "Loco" Davis looked to face off against SIGMA of The Miasma; Davis tried to talk to SIGMA as if he were Scott Saphyre but the Miasma member seemed unphased, surprising Loco with his own "Loco Motion" (Kido Clutch) to open up for Day of SIGMA; Davis was overheard saying "I think it IS him" on his way to the MCW locker room. Meanwhile the MCW Heavyweight Title was on the line and Jerry Krait would look to continue his impressive winning ways but Kathy Queen gave Krait an early climax with the Mind Slayer for a knockout win to win the MCW Heavyweight Title for her first time and becoming only the second woman to hold that belt after Ripper Reno. In a thrilling one on one duel Sam S McCloud would battle Corey O'Brian, going hold for hold with the legend for nearly 30 minutes, even kicking out of the Core Meltdown; however despite multiple attempts to win with the "Triforce Lock" (Triangle Scissors) and his newest move "Rainbow of Doom" (Bridging Half-And-Half) he would fall victim to a combination Saka-Otoshi into The 42 for the submission. Meanwhile for the SFU South Florida Tag titles the Tag Team From Hell would battle the Working Stiffs in a clash of veteran duos; Ulyoath would hit a Full Nelson Atomic Drop on Working Class Hero to get the fall. But Working Class Hero's partner IT Lightning would assault his friend and partner for nearly a decade after the bell; the third member of the Working Stiffs, Super Visor Black was unavailable due to COVID protocols so one wonders what will happen to this popular team. Finally the match everyone was waiting for, the South Florida Heavyweight championship match and long-awaited rematch between Grenville and Xander Starr. Xander brought his speed and experience but Grenville's power and aggression gave him an early advantage hitting a Godslayer Bomb for the three count. Xander Starr rallied back in the second fall, being the first person to EVER kick out of the Godslayer Bomb and rallied back... a standing Shiranui, "Supernova Press" (Reverse 450), a SECOND Standing Shiranui followed by the Einstein-Rosen Bridge to be the first person to pin Grenville in the Neo Beast's pro career. Grenville seemed to be fired up by this fall though, delivering a series of sadistic German Suplexes in the third fall and the Mafia Kick en route to a third Godslayer Bomb and this time Xander did not kick out. 0. PGCW Got Grenades?
After a warm up match where Bonnie Blair of Amazon-1's hired gun Mary May Andrews destroyed Willy Jakes in an MMA Rules match, we were told by PGCW Commission Walter Cranston that Karma Chameleon was injured, meaning John Carlton defended his Creative Commons title against GORG! Carlton threw everything he had at GORG but in the end he got run over by the eccentric giant with a move known as "BEEP BEEP" for the three count. The Arch Rivals managed to get some much needed momentum knocking off Team Crawling Chaos after Archer pinned Queen with the Double Stomp, while Robert Garavito submitted Tristan Belmont with the Geneva Convention. The Magic City Wrestling tag gold was on the line in No DQ rules as the Raiders of the Wasteland battled The Kelley Brothers; despite interference by Ripper Reno, the Kelleys would rally, Alex using the mist to cover Smiley's mask in green setting up for AK-74 for the pin. Meanwhile Florida Man and Mongo of the Alliance of Violence would knock off a very game Team Rib Rolls with the Mongo Boot, and Spider Jack would continue his winning ways besting the dangerous SIGMA. The PGCW Tag Team Titles would be defended by the dominant Kings of the North against former champions The Guild in a back and forth war that spilled outside of the ring more than once. but in the end, Mitchell Williams used a Snake Eyes on Hjalmar Susi, setting up for the Centipede Lock for the submission. Last but not least was the Openweight Title match and at first it seemed only a matter of time as Grenville's juggernaut strength and offense put him in control but as the match went on Murder Dragon would rally back with his trademark dynamic offense including the inverted bulldog and the STO. Grenville seemed to have it won, hitting the Starry Night Driver and using a punishing Belly to Belly to try to set up for the Godslayer Bomb, but Murder Dragon broke free and hit knees to the nose, BREAKING Grenville's nose before following up with a Shooting Star Press for the one... two... and the THREE and Murder Dragon captures the title that has eluded him since the start of PGCW, and be the first to actually DEFEAT Grenville! 0. PGCW War of the Realms
After a bonus match where Gutter ran roughshot over Willy Jakes, we had a Creative Commons title defense as GORG looked to run over Kathy Queen, however the Queen of Spades has been on a huge wave of momentum and her confidence and experience paid dividends as she focused staying elusive and attacking the bigger man's legs. In the end it took two "Queen's Landing"s (Mutasault), a Cthulhu Clutch (Chickenwing Sleeper with Body Triangle) and "Eat At Kate's" (Shining Triangle) to FINALLY put away the monster that is GORG. Kathy Queen becomes a Triple Crown champion, a DOUBLE champion yet again (holding the MCW Heavyweight Title, but we definitely haven't seen the last of the behemoth known as GORG. The Kings of the North battled their longtime rivals Killer Knees, Hjalmar Susi holding Renegade Angel's arms from the apron to open up for the "Longsword" (Overhead Chop) from Armo Halla for the three count. The Beer Guy would score a big win in a thrilling match against The Silver Bullet, and the Kelley Bros would knock off Guy Jordan and SIGMA of the Miasma after Eric Kelley's devastating "Elimination Protocol" (Busaiku Knee) William King would battle the cosmic vigilante LIBRA in a fast paced battle where both men would pull out all stops but in the end LIBRA got the win over the first two-time PGCW Openweight champion with "Cosmic Alignment" (Time Bomb). The Arch Rivals would challenge for the PGCW Tag Team gold against The Guild with their contracts on the line in a marathon of a battle, ending with Jim Rival knocking Sam S McCloud cold with his famous Rolling Elbow for the three count.... meaning that finally, after all these years... the Arch Rivals become tag team champions. A chaotic and violent deathmatch between Tristan Belmont and Team Rib Rolls against the Alliance of Violence would end in a bloodbath with Florida Man choking out Belmont with the "Meth Grip" (Anaconda Vice), then it was the explosive match everyone waited for, PGCW Openweight Title as Murder Dragon and Spider Jack clashed. Their duel like all the ones before it was a million miles and hour, but as the match progressed Spider Jack managed to gain more and more momentum until finally with a pop-up rana dead center of the ring the match would be decided with Spider Jack regaining the gold. The two masked warriors would shake hands after an incredible battle that capped off one of the best PGCW events to date and possibly of all time! 0. PGCW Job Hunting
After a warm-up match where CTO Lightning and Super Visor Black (now known as The Enterprise) make quick work of Tommy Knock and Willy Jakes, Kathy Queen would best Suicide Survivor to defend her Creative Commons title after Survivor avoided her hip attack only for the Ace of Spades to use the momentum to whip the challenger into the corner to set up for some brutal kicks and eventually "Eat At Kate's" (Shining Triangle). The Kings of the North would best Team Rib Rolls using their power to their advantage while Murder Dragon showed he was at the top of his game looking ahead to Grenville, defeating a very game SIGMA via Dragon Sleeper. The Alliance of Violence would overcome the experience of the Kelley Brothers thanks to Mongo delivering the Mongo Boot to Alex Kelley, while GORG went to war with William King enduring the former two-time Openweight Champ's best offense before succumbing to the "Cthulhu Clutch" (Chickenwing Sleeper with Bodyscissors). The Beer Guy looked to gain momentum against Florida Man but got dunked by the "Tampa Bay Plunge" (Tiger Driver). In a No DQ Match with titles and contracts on the line The Guild went to war with the Arch Rivals, the battle going all over the arena with weapons flying. Eventually though the PGCW crowd who supported the Arch Rivals were met with heartbreak; Mitchell Williams would clock Jim Rival with a kendo stick, unravel his wrist tape and use it as extra leverage for a choke sleeper forcing Rival to pass out for the victory. Meanwhile Spider Jack would try to defend the Openweight Title against the red hot LIBRA and despite starting strong against the challenger, as the match went on LIBRA kept in control before submitting Spider Jack with "Cosmic Triangle" (Triangle Scissors). The landscape of PGCW has changed forever with the departure of a duo who have been part of the company since day one. What else does 2022 have in store for the Proving Ground? 0. SFU Hot Wrestling Summer '22
After a warm up matching featuring the debut of Johnny Banks (protege of former PGCW Openweight Champ Richard Ian Prescott), we began with a personal battle as the original A-1 Tag Team Champions Terra and Marie St. Dumas faced off for the first time since St. Dumas left the Submissionaries in favor of Blair's Army; despite St. Dumas locking in the Spellbinder and delivering abrainbuster it was Terra that won the day with a Corner Crash German Suplex. The Stone Sisters suffered a rare loss to Irwin Rayne and Jim Fresno after Rayne delivered a Reverse Tiger Suplex to Judy and following up with his famous Dragon Sleeper. William King battled against Sam S McCloud (who was sporting a new look with a Guild eSport Jersey); Abby Stern would get involved in the match but while referee Matt Weston was sorting it out Kathy Queen would distract Sam S McCloud long enough for King to recover and choke him out with the "Cthulhu Clutch". Friends would collide again as Working Class Hero would best CTO Lightning with a Frog Splash, forcing the former IT Lightning to unmask; GORG would take Xander Starr to the limit but would get caught with "Backslide Plus" to give The Human Superball the win and the SFU South Florida Tag Team Championships would be defended by the Tag Team From Hell when they bested the Kelley Brothers in a nearly 30 minute war. Kathy Queen would face off against Corey O'Brian in a match that has to be considered an instant classic. Corey would pick apart Queen with his experience and ability to attack limbs while Queen used her wits and resilience to endure. Queen kicked out of "Core Meltdown" after the forty minute mark and would rally back, nearly getting the win with "Queen's Landing", "Queen's Ransom" and the "Mind Flayer" but the bell would ring after an hour's time with no winner. Kathy Queen would request five more minutes which O'Brian agreed to; Queen would try to go for another Mind Flayer but Corey launched her with an overhead belly to belly, following it up with a Fisherman's Buster and then not one but TWO Kinniku Busters back to back to finally put away Kathy Queen. Finally we had the South Florida Heavyweight Championship match as Muder Dragon looked to repeat his shocking success over Grenville. While Murder Dragon was in full gear early on Grenville had bit through his mask and Murder Dragon seemed severely weakened by the unorthodox assault. A powerslam would gain Grenville his first fall, then after throwing Murder Dragon mercilessly on the floor with German Suplexes the Neo Beast would hit "Starry Night Driver" (Lifting Reverse DDT) to sweep the falls. Grenville avenged his first defeat in STYLE and remains the man to beat in South Florida. 0. Johnny Banks d. Willy Jakes 1:36 via Mad Splash 1. Terra d.
