Well, something's definitely in the water around Phoenix Rising, I think. Or something. Hell, I dunno what's up lately. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/450224597Youtube: youtu.be/RvT7Jq-MO9QQuick Results Team Proving Ground def. Adrenaline Rush Reina del Tigre def. Jennifer Phoenix The Avian Assassins def. The Golden Ambush Titania def. La Relampaga Victor Kintelas def. Kyle Anderson The Limbtakers def. The Excellent Blades to become #1 contenders for the Proving Ground tag titles SATOMI def. Anari Lynn Heyward Kellaron Sentarl def. Todd Colton Write-ups Adrenaline Rush still hasn't found that win, but they looked very, very strong here in defeat... again. Still, Hugo Dirksen can't be underestimated, and he locked in the Cattle Mutilation to finish this one off for Team Proving Ground. Reina del Tigre joins a small, elite club: someone who won their debut match. She was in charge for most of this one against Jennifer Phoenix, and scored a big win with her Queen Tiger Suplex, although it did take more than one to get there. Tigre's partners didn't fare quite as well in the end: the Avian Assassins proved just a bit too much this time around, and Silver Hawk continues to show he's one of the best around in picking up the victory. Still, the Tigers can't be written off entirely... they're still a very, very dangerous team, and with Reina del Tigre joining them, they could be on the verge of something big. La Relampaga tried her best here... keeping a fast, relentless pace, but Titania eventually did catch the Lightning Luchadora... and a Titanic Bomb put this one away, as it often does. Titania continues to tear through the Inspire Championship division... her sights always set on SATOMI, but she'll need to handle Nicole Blade next Proving Ground. Victor Kintelas has become known for one big thing: his new cutter finisher, which can end a match in one quick, brutal instant. Such was the case tonight as he leveled Kyle Anderson with the first one of the match. Early reports are in and state that Kyle should be fine... he'll likely sit out the next show, which seemed likely to begin with, and shouldn't spend any time on the shelf. The Limbtakers and the Blades have a fair bit of history between them already... and another chapter was written here as the Limbtakers took the lead, though it wasn't an easy path to get there. RNA and Candace had to pull out all the stops, but it wound up being a quick-thinking Candace, rolling through into a kneebreaker, that finally picked up the win and gave the Limbtakers a shot at tag gold. This could be as vulnerable as SATOMI's appeared so far in her career. This match was a rough one: Anari the powerhouse, intent on overwhelming SATOMI and showing that Titania may very well be the better between the two. But SATOMI eventually began to fire back, and finally locked Anari in her signature submission... and the Inspire Champion slips away with another important win. Nobody could've anticipated this, save maybe Kellaron himself. He was in charge right from the opening bell, and didn't hesitate for a second... indeed, the moment he saw an opening, he seized it, and locked Todd in a crossface that caused the Top Prospect to violently tap out almost immediately. No word yet on whether the champ's injured, but early prospects suggest that he'll be all right for his now-upcoming title defense against Kellaron. Kellaron Sentarl "This was the way it was always gonna end. You had your moment to shine, Todd, and now it's time to bring your ass back down to earth... your title on the line, against me. And you had better damn well believe that at any moment, I could do to you in that match what I did to you tonight... and there's nothing, NOTHING you can do to stop me. I'll be the Top Prospect, and you'll have a chance to put your money where your mouth is... and move on to Showdown, unless of course you're afraid to step up to that level after all this time." Titania "Don't come to me hoping I'll be impressed, SATOMI... you accomplished the same thing I did, true, but you struggled every single step of the way. You aren't on my level... and neither is Nicole Blade. A shame, that you lost your chance to challenge for the Proving Ground tag titles... but it did open your schedule up for us to have our proper showdown. So you and I will meet next Proving Ground... no more ducking around it, no more obligations standing in the way. And I'll show you who the strongest woman around here really is..."

Evergreen coming up this week, Thursday as always, and with the hardcore fed out from beneath the shadow of Young Blood, Mercy Devine can finally relax and return Evergreen to something resembling "normal". Which, mostly means everyone beating the crap out of everyone else, but not in that crazy "I'll destroy everything" way Young Blood likes. eMo vs. The Sheridan Brothers
Sayaka Saito vs. Mercy Devine
Eddy Introspect vs. Veronika Armstrong
Julian Shepard vs. Kantar
Rebecca Andrews vs. Ash Defiant
Elly Blackwood vs. Kevin Royce
El Verde vs. The Bingo Hall MutantsThings start off hot with your usual tag opener: eMo (Sookie and Penelope as usual) taking on the Sheridan brothers, who have seen their stock fall quite a bit as of late. It's been a rough stretch for these two... can they bounce back here? Mercy Devine can finally set her sights back on what really matters: making her hated rival's life a living hell. She'll start by taking on one of Veronika's tag partners in Sayaka Saito, but Sayaka's sure to be a tough one to bring down... she's far from a pushover and will be looking to keep Mercy from getting a foothold against them. After all... they really need to recover from the crushing losses to the trio that recently left Evergreen to become Showdown exclusives once more. Eddy Introspect remains just on the verge of breaking out big in Evergreen... and a win over a former Evergreen Champion might be just the push he needs to prove he's deserving of a shot at the championship again. Who knows what Eddy could do in a one-on-one championship match... but he's got to get through Veronika Armstrong, first. Julian Shepard is starting to get a bit of a reputation... accusations that his Evergreen Championship reign was a fluke, that he can't beat Verde, that nobody wants to see him face Verde ever again... his fortunes might not be turning around anytime soon, here, as he's got to deal with Evergreen's resident monster... and the demon is in a foul mood after losing the Pacific Northwest Championship to Blake Dynamite last Monday. Rebecca Andrews continues to seek singles glory, and what better way to do that than by taking on one of the best of the best in Evergreen? Ash Defiant has made a big name for herself, but the Chicago native will seek to topple the Lucky Gray Shirt and continue rising through the ranks. Elly Blackwood made the shocking decision to stay in Evergreen for the time being... perhaps taking Young Blood's comments as a slight against her, she's out to prove that she's very much capable of handling herself in the Evergreen ring. "An outsider with no history", indeed... but she certainly has history with the returning Kevin Royce, who put her on the shelf in the first place. Elly's looking for some measure of revenge this week... but can both of these wrestlers avoid going back on the injured list? Our main event this week sees the Evergreen Tag Team Champions, the Bingo Hall Mutants, step into the ring against the ultimate fan favorites, El Verde. No doubt Verde wants to add the tag titles to her Evergreen Championship... but they'll have to beat the Mutants in a non-title contest first, and given how dangerous the PEWA team has been from the day they arrived... Elly Blackwood "I'm already hearing a bit of chatter about why I'm staying in Evergreen. History with Kevin Royce, the shit Young Blood said as he complained about getting his ass beat, any number of rumors floating around... so let me set you all straight. I'm here because I want to be here. I'm here to show Evergreen exactly what they've been missing. Kantar's your resident big, bad, unstoppable force... but he hasn't met the Invincible, yet. He will, though... all in due time. Everyone's gonna get to know real fast... I'm more than capable of holding my own, no matter who's across that ring from me, no matter what comes my way, no matter how you try to bring me down. So I hope Young Blood keeps his eyes open in-between his complaining... you want to whine that I've got no history here... just you watch while I make it, night after night, week after week, month after month." Kevin Royce "People talkin' about a revenge story... first night back in the Evergreen ring, as a competitor, not a ref, and I got the same girl I put on the shelf over on Proving Ground a couple months back. Look, kid, Invincible or not... you still got a lot to learn about what it's like around here. No matter what happens out there Thursday night, though... you and I go out there, we do what we do, we let this lie. Gettin' too damn old to be holding grudges anymore... can't even hold one against Mercy anymore considerin' what she's done with this place. Maybe I needed my eyes opened.
As for you, Young Blood, you got some kind of fuckin' problem with the way I called your match, you take it up with me face-to-face, you little shit. You getting your ass beat... that's not my fuckin' problem. Running off to bitch at Biff Taylor because you can't fuckin' accept that you actually found someone that's a match for your dumb ass... startin' to think it IS my problem. You and I were set to go before Lobo fuckin' Muerte did his thing... but I'm back in the saddle and ready to whip someone's ass. And if I can't manage that against Elly... then you're lookin' like a DAMN good replacement."

Evergreen went and did what it usually does. Moved fast, hit hard, left a bit of blood in its wake. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/451582492Youtube: youtu.be/Iy1_n2-06-gQuick Results eMo def. The Sheridan Brothers Mercy Devine def. Sayaka Saito Veronika Armstrong def. Eddy Introspect Kantar def. Julian Shepard Rebecca Andrews def. Ash Defiant Elly Blackwood def. Kevin Royce The Bingo Hall Mutants def. El Verde Write-ups Very much your typical Evergreen tag opener, chaotic and vicious right to the end. Vincent bled a fair bit in this one thanks to Sookie, and eMo pulled off a major victory that could keep them in the hunt for the Evergreen tag titles... though the Mutants could be simply insurmountable opponents. Sayaka gave this one everything she had, but Mercy was not going to be denied again this week... a bloodied Sayaka eventually passed out in Mercy's Dragon Sleeper, a submission that Mercy continued to hold long after the bell rang. Veronika Armstrong suddenly looked like her old self here... perhaps she needed to step back into singles competition. Either way, she was in control for most of this one and took Eddy out with a Mercykiller, finally getting her back in the wins column. No disrespect to Julian on his effort here... but Kantar continues to tear apart anyone and everyone that Evergreen puts in the ring with him, save the one exception that was Young Blood. Still, Julian gave this one hell of an effort, only to get crushed by that familiar Triple Powerbomb. Match of the night goes to this one... an all-out war between Rebecca and Ash that didn't let up for a second, right up to the very end. Both women threw everything they had at each other, but it was Rebecca's Go 2 Sleep that finally put this one away. Another war worthy of some honors, Elly came out determined not to let Kevin repeat what happened last time... and she threw damn near everything in her arsenal at the hardcore veteran. Kevin, though, didn't go quietly: nearly forcing the Invincible Elly to pass out in his signature Iron Claw, before she managed to power out... and the very same move she used to beat Young Blood, she beat Kevin with as well. Pure chaos from start to finish: it looked like El Verde might pick up the major upset, with Verde somehow getting Rampage up for her signature Hurricane Driver. But a kickout by Rampage, followed by a quick cover, put an unusual end to this one...

Showdown comes along on Monday as it always does, and brings a hell of a card with it: Winifred Wright vs. Rilantha De Nav
Markos Andreas vs. Lance Marshall
Haruka Matsura vs. Besos vs. Mascara Avispa vs. Listalva Anne Heyward
Firehawk Sentarl vs. Urani Whitemist
Fenix Oscuro vs. Eri Sentarl
Alexandria Kirison vs. Kaelara Sentarl
Yuki Maeda vs. Blake Dynamite for the Pacific Northwest Championship
The Rising Storm vs. Les Beautes Blondes for the Phoenix Rising Tag Team ChampionshipsWinifred Wright, now without her tag partner, will step back into a singles role this week as she takes on Rilantha De Nav... these two veterans have been around longer than almost anyone on the Phoenix Rising roster, and they're certain to bring everything they've got against each other as they seek to prove they can earn a spot at the World Champion. Markos Andreas seems determined to prove himself early on: a debut loss to Firehawk Sentarl hasn't slowed him down one bit as he prepares to take on Lance Marshall. This won't be easy for the Greek... he'll need to bring everything he's got if he wants to pull this off. A 4-way for Pacific Northwest ranking: the middle of the pack aims to prove themselves here, with Haruka standing to lose the most, ranked at #5. #6, 7 and 8 will all seek to raise their stock as they aim their sights on champion Blake Dynamite. Firehawk Sentarl got a much-needed win last Showdown, but that came against a newcomer... someone unfamiliar with Phoenix Rising. That won't be the case here as he steps into the ring with the Titan, Urani Whitemist. There's a strong chance that the winner here makes their case for a shot at the Dragon... but Tasharun looms in the wings, waiting for his chance at the title, and things could easily change before we get to that point... Fenix Oscuro is in a foul mood. Haruka and Selisha both failed to topple the Little Phoenix, and so Oscuro will seek to do it herself, stepping into the ring across from Eri Sentarl for the first time since New Year's Bash. A win here would set Oscuro up as the next in line after Yuki Maeda for the Pacific Northwest Championship... wrenching the opportunity away from her hated rival. For that reason, though, Eri will surely fight with everything she's got, determined not to lose the biggest opportunity of her career. Kaelara Sentarl may not officially be part of the World Championship division, but she's nevertheless demanded this match after what happened last Showdown between Alexandria Kirison and Shiana Sentarl. It seems like Kae is out to defend her mother's reputation and honor, and she'll step into the ring across from the dangerous Greek to try and avenge her injured mother. Yuki Maeda surely counts herself lucky here: with Blake's victory over Kantar last Showdown, and Kantar's departure to become a full-time Evergreen wrestler, her challenge for the Pacific Northwest Championship suddenly looks a lot less daunting. Still, Blake Dynamite can't be overlooked: he did beat Kantar, after all, to become the champion, and he's more than proven himself on the bigger stage since moving up from Proving Ground. No doubt Yuki will have her hands full here. Our main event comes about due to the injury of Kileas Kintelas last Showdown: a two-month stint on the shelf required the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships to be vacated, and as a result, the top two teams will square off to decide the new champions. On one side, the most decorated team in Phoenix Rising, the Rising Storm... Xiu Mei Li and Anahera see this title as theirs, and have always sought to remind the entire world that they are Phoenix Rising's premier team. On the other side, the infamous Les Beautes Blondes, Angel Leblanc and Michelle Rochefort: a constant threat that may not have held the tag titles as of yet, but see this match as destiny... could this finally be the night that the Blondes show themselves to be every bit the threat that they believe themselves to be? The Rising Storm "Make no mistake, Angel... Michelle. This may stand only as a formality, because we've proven, time and time again, that the Rising Storm will always be better than the Blondes." Xiu Mei Li holds a hard, piercing stare directly into the camera... Anahera behind her, having much the same look in her eyes. "We've ended the reigns of three different teams, now. Firehawk and Kellaron. The SFG. And now, Winifred and Kileas."
"And we'll put an end to any delusions you might have. We're the only team around here that's held those titles more than once... and we will make it a third. No matter how you try to sway it in your favor... no matter what Elise Pichon attempts to do. When the dust settles... the Rising Storm will be where we belong once again. At the top, as the champions." Anahera turns to leave, and Xiu follows... Angel Leblanc "The greatest team in Phoenix Rising... Claim it all you like. But Les Beautes Blondes have been forced back far too often. Opportunities stolen, denied... but you cannot stop us forever, and this is the night that we stand triumphant. This is the night we take our rightful place. The sooner you learn this... the better."

Hell of a show this week... some may prefer other results than what happened, but it's not always what you think it'll be, as we know all too well by now. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/453423225Youtube: youtu.be/9yvgoFeOh24Quick Results Rilantha De Nav def. Winifred Wright Lance Marshall def. Markos Andreas Listalva Anne Heyward def. Besos, Mascara Avispa and Haruka Matsura Urani Whitemist def. Firehawk Sentarl Eri Sentarl def. Fenix Oscuro Kaelara Sentarl def. Alexandria Kirison Blake Dynamite def. Yuki Maeda to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship The Rising Storm def. Les Beautes Blondes to become the NEW Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions Write-ups Rilantha De Nav bounced back in a big way after her early exit from the 49th Parallel... taking the fight to Winifred from the bell as these two veterans gave each other everything they had in the opener. Winifred landed a stiff Axe Bomber that appeared to open a nasty cut on Ril, but Ril would have the last laugh as she laid Winifred out with a Complete Shot to pick up the win. Another strong showing from Markos Andreas despite the loss... but Lance Marshall was seemingly back to his winning ways here, eventually landing a crushing Cattle Drive that put any ideas of victory well out of reach for Markos. Not a great night for Haruka, who entered this match as the highest-ranked involved... and was the only one to lose any ground as she was eliminated first, taken out by Besos. Listalva Anne Heyward, meanwhile, had a hell of a night for herself... once Haruka was out of the picture, she took out Mascara Avispa, pinning him off of a Shooting Star Press, and laid Besos out with her devastating swinging DDT, and set herself up with a very, very nice position in the top five in the rankings. Urani Whitemist set out to send a message in this match... it certainly appeared so, anyway, as she absolutely refused to let Firehawk get a foothold. A Phoenix Dive was completely ignored by the Titan, and three Whitemist Bombs put him away without ever giving Urani much trouble in the end. The odds were stacked against Eri tonight... with Selisha at ringside (and making her presence known), and a vicious, vengeful Oscuro across the ring from her, it seemed like Eri was going to lose her chance at the Pacific Northwest Championship... but the Little Phoenix simply would not be denied this time. While Selisha foiled her efforts to win with the Little Phoenix, Eri eventually lined Oscuro up for a Phoenix Splash, and much to the frustration of the Malevolent Triad, Eri Sentarl WILL go on to next Showdown and face off for the Pacific Northwest Championship! Kaelara Sentarl is a warrior. There can't be any doubt about that after tonight, taking the fight to Alexandria Kirison as she sought to gain a measure of vengeance for Shiana's injury two weeks ago. And Kae endured the very same move that put Shiana on the shelf... not once, but multiple times. Eventually, she managed to put Alex down with a Dragon Sleeper, and proved that there is nobody in Phoenix Rising that Kae won't take on... and perhaps, nobody that she can't beat. Never count Blake Dynamite out. After taking a beating from Yuki and doing his best to hang tough in the match, the reigning Pacific Northwest Champion landed a huge Double Lotation, and snatched victory from what seemed like a guaranteed defeat just moments ago. Blake could very well be one of the best champions in Phoenix Rising... but he's got Eri Sentarl to deal with in two weeks, and that will be a true test of high-flying skill. This was a war between two teams that know each other entirely too well, by now. But one thing was very clear... the Rising Storm is here to stay, and they will not let themselves be beaten by the Blondes. After a back-and-forth brawl that saw everything that both sides had to offer, Xiu Mei's STF became the one constant... and it was the move that won the day, and gave the Rising Storm their third reign as Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions. There can be no further doubt that they are the best team in Phoenix Rising... and perhaps always will be. Eri Sentarl "Oscuro tries again and again to tear me down. She wants nothing more than to break my spirit, take away what I've fought all this way to get. But I'm not going to just let you beat me that way. I'm not going to roll over and let you destroy all of the hard work I've done, all for the sake of this vendetta you still have against me. I'm not scared of you, Oscuro. I'm not going to be timid and shrink away the moment you threaten me. I'm going to fight, and I'm never going to back down. Two weeks from now I face Blake Dynamite for the Pacific Northwest Championship, and there's nothing you can do to stop me. And I'm gonna win that title, Oscuro... and I know the day's gonna come when you try and take it from me. But it's not gonna happen. I've already beaten you time and time again... and I'll never stop."

Gonna make this one short and sweet: individual match previews will come later tonight when I'm not in such a rush. :V Adrenaline Rush vs. Winter Fresh
Reina del Tigre vs. Layla Al-Amin
Akira Ryusaki vs. Victor Kintelas
The Golden Ambush vs. La Familia (Besos/Rey)
Titania vs. Nicole Blade
Kyle Anderson vs. Pajaro de Fuego
SATOMI vs. Jennifer Phoenix
Kellaron Sentarl vs. Todd Colton for the Top Prospect ChampionshipAdrenaline Rush, after faltering against Team Proving Ground, now step into the ring with another well-seasoned team in Winter Fresh. Rin and Fresh, however, will surely be intent on making sure the Proving Ground newcomers don't get that first victory against them... still, the losing streak has to break sooner or later, right?
Reina del Tigre debuted last Proving Ground and became one of a very small list to win their Phoenix Rising debut match, as a late replacement opponent for Jennifer Phoenix. Now, Reina prepares to take on Layla Al-Amin... setting her sights much, much higher. But the Cairo Cyclone definitely hasn't lost any of her skill since losing the Inspire Championship... the former champion will be looking to get back to the top of the division, and Reina may be the opponent she needs.
Akira Ryusaki had last Proving Ground off, but he's back again now, preparing for another tough opponent... his debut against Kyle Anderson was one of the best of Proving Ground #36, and now, against Victor Kintelas, he'll be after another show-stealer, but this time... Akira will be after the victory, not just a "good match".
The Golden Ambush now finds themselves against an exceptional team... La Familia, the brother/sister duo of Rey de la Carne and Besos, coming to Proving Ground from her usual place on Showdown in the Pacific Northwest division. The tigers will need to stay sharp: these two are no joke, especially when working together.
A match delayed by tag action last episode, Titania will finally get the self-proclaimed "strongest woman on Proving Ground" in the ring as she takes on Nicole Blade. Donna Nobel will surely be at ringside... fresh off her participation in the 49th Parallel, that came to an unfortunate early end in the first round. Nevertheless, the Excellent Blades will both be on hand... but Titania is sure to be looking to impose her will on this one.
Kyle Anderson continues to be up and down... a win over Akira Ryusaki, but a loss to Victor Kintelas, and Kyle finds himself still struggling to make his way to the top. Pajaro de Fuego, meanwhile, has rarely been seen in a singles role, typically teaming up with Silver Hawk as the Avian Assassins. Can he step back into the solo role against Five Star Kyle?
The reigning Inspire Champion, SATOMI, faced off with Jennifer Phoenix just last week in Sakura Pro... now, the match has extra implications. If Phoenix can take the win this time on Proving Ground, she'll earn a shot at the Inspire Championship... but SATOMI defeated her last Wednesday. Does Phoenix have what it takes to adapt?
Our main event this week sees a match over a month in the making. Since Todd's victory over Victor Kintelas, Kellaron Sentarl has sought to take the new Top Prospect down a peg... and he'll get the biggest chance yet, facing off with Todd Colton for the championship. There's nothing more to say here: Kellaron's already beaten Colton once, forcing an instant tapout to the Crossface... can he repeat that and claim his first piece of singles gold in his career?

Right so first thing is that I misread the results from last Wednesday and SATOMI never beat Phoenix so hurr durr good job Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/456692373Youtube: youtu.be/quuR-UWnmmUQuick Results Adrenaline Rush def. Winter Fresh Reina del Tigre def. Layla Al-Amin Akira Ryusaki def. Victor Kintelas The Golden Ambush def. La Familia Nicole Blade def. Titania Pajaro de Fuego def. Kyle Anderson Jennifer Phoenix def. SATOMI Todd Colton def. Kellaron Sentarl to retain the Top Prospect Championship Write-ups Well, here we are... Adrenaline Rush finally gets that elusive win, and in stunning fashion against Winter Fresh. A Double Lotation Moonsault spelled the end of this one, and finally... finally, they've gotten a victory. Let's hope they can keep it going. Reina del Tigre could very well be one of the most dangerous women to step into the Proving Ground ring in a very long time... a win over Phoenix last episode, and now a huge win over the former Inspire Champion in Layla Al-Amin? This could be big trouble for the entire division... Akira Ryusaki has only had two matches on Proving Ground so far, but both of them have been absolutely incredible. First, a clinic with Kyle Anderson... and now, an intense fight against former Top Prospect, Victor Kintelas. Akira picked up the big win this time... on a night that seemed full of surprises. The match with the Avian Assassins might've just been a slight stumble for the Ambush... Tigress, in particular, was on a mission tonight, and after a fast, vicious matchup, superkicked Rey de la Carne and picked up the win for her team. The Golden Ambush went a perfect 2-0 this week... Reina del Tigre could be in line for the Inspire Championship, the Ambush perhaps looking at the tag titles... could they control Proving Ground in the future? Apparently the moral of this story is: don't piss off the woman that's been there since day one making the very same claim that you're trying to. Nicole Blade was an absolute monster in this match, and even the raw power of Titania proved incapable of matching her... whether Donna Nobel's presence at ringside made a difference is hard to tell, but there can be no doubt that Nicole re-asserted herself as the strongest woman on Proving Ground. Tough match for Kyle here, but he kept pace admirably... still, Pajaro de Fuego continues to show that he's an excellent opponent, whether it's one-on-one or tag. A Fenix Dive put this one away and once again sent people buzzing as to who this man really is. Contrary to the match preview above, SATOMI came into this already down one match... and now, finds herself with another loss to Phoenix. A third match now sets up a shot for the Inspire Championship... and Phoenix could be the next champion. At the end of the night, the main event delivered in a way that nobody could've imagined. These two met each other hold for hold, move for move, blow for blow... giving what was easily the best match of the night, maybe one of the best so far this year. But Todd Colton would not be denied, would not be pushed aside... and a moonsault helped him defend the Top Prospect Championship and remain firmly at the top. Nicole Blade "You can come swaggering into Proving Ground like you own the place... you can talk to me about being the strongest woman around... but until you figure out how to beat me, you'll never be anything better than second-best! I reminded the world tonight what I'm capable of, I showed you your place... I did what only one other person's done, face-to-face, one-on-one, and that's BEAT YOU. And I'm not skinny little Felice Santana, I didn't beat you with speed, or agility, or technical prowess... I beat you because I was the stronger woman, and don't you EVER forget it." Todd Colton "So here we are! I'm still at the top! I've beaten both of the golden boys of Proving Ground, the so-called best of the best in Victor and Kellaron, and I'm STILL STANDING! I STILL got this title around my waist, I am STILL the Top Prospect, because neither of you is on my level! NOBODY around here is! And I'll tell you right now... it doesn't matter who you send my way next, I'll beat them too... and I'll keep knocking down challengers, one by one, until there's no doubt in anyone's mind that I am MISTER FUCKING PROVING GROUND!"

Coming up next Monday... Natasha Clover vs. Rachel White Telan Kintelas vs. Sophia Moretti Pure Gold vs. The Wild West (Lance and Cassandra Marshall) Haruka Matsura vs. Listalva Anne Heyward Markos Andreas vs. Alexandria Kirison Urani Whitemist vs. Winifred Wright Eri Sentarl vs. Blake Dynamite for the Pacific Northwest Championship Tasharun vs. The Black Dragon for the Phoenix Rising World ChampionshipWell, this matchup was bound to re-ignite sooner or later... the friends-turned-rivals, Natasha and Rachel finally clash once again, for the first time in quite a long time. Perhaps fueled by Todd Colton's defense of the Top Prospect Championship, Natasha seems ready to take a shot at regaining the Pacific Northwest Championship she lost some time ago... and this could be her moment to start back on that path.
Telan Kintelas continues to hover near the top of the Pacific Northwest rankings, next in line after Eri Sentarl to get his shot at the championship. But Sophia Moretti has her eyes on that spot... wanting to take Telan's place in line. This one's a severe clash of styles... power versus technique.
Pure Gold faces off against maybe one of the most intimidating sights in Phoenix Rising... the Marshalls are back as a team. Lance and Cassandra aren't likely to take this one lightly, and no doubt it'll be yet another tough one for Pure Gold, who have struggled since moving up from Proving Ground.
Fenix Oscuro is, to put it lightly, in a foul mood. After failing to topple Eri Sentarl last week, she now aims to get under her rival's skin by targeting those closest to her... starting with Eri's apparent partner in Listalva Anne Heyward. She's sent Haruka Matsura to try and take down Queen Anne... but as we've seen, this is no easy task.
This was bound to happen sooner or later... Markos Andreas and Alexandria Kirison finally meet in the ring, the two Greeks set to clash. Markos hasn't quite gotten any traction, but with Alex taking a stunning loss to Kaelara Sentarl last week, it could be the opening he needs to get a big win...
Nobody can accuse Winifred Wright of being a coward... she's outright requested this match against the Titan, Urani Whitemist, and it's surprisingly hard to tell just how this one might go. As dangerous as Urani is... Winifred Wright is a former tag champion and a living legend in her own right...
Eri Sentarl has been waiting for this chance. While she finally won her first championship as a part of the ESTRELLA roster, alongside Kaelara, she's now got her sights set on gold in her home fed, looking to bring down fellow high-flyer Blake Dynamite to claim the Pacific Northwest Championship. But Fenix Oscuro's shadow continues to loom over her... even with her victory last week.
Tasharun knew this day would come, one way or another. Still believing the World Championship to have been taken from him by foul play, he seeks to right what he sees as a wrong against him, and dethrone the most dominant champion in Phoenix Rising history. But the Black Dragon has been nothing short of an unstoppable force of nature for nearly an entire year... does the Demon have even a shred of what it takes to finally defeat her?
A note that Evergreen is currently on a short hiatus due to the wrapping up of the 49th Parallel. Evergreen will return in August, their first show of that month will be on the 8th.

Can you believe the Black Dragon's been World Champion for nine months? That's scary. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/459897579Youtube: youtu.be/edmEkgxgo1cQuick Results Natasha Clover def. Rachel White Sophia Moretti def. Telan Kintelas The Wild West def. Pure Gold Listalva Anne Heyward def. Haruka Matsura Markos Andreas def. Alexandria Kirison Urani Whitemist def. Winifred Wright Blake Dynamite def. Eri Sentarl to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship The Black Dragon def. Tasharun to retain the Phoenix Rising World Championship Write-ups The old rivalry re-ignited again... and ended with the same result as ever, it seemed. Natasha Clover once again gets the upper hand over Rachel, after delivering a crushing Spear to finish things off. Sophia Moretti is on the cusp of something big. She out-wrestled Telan here, eventually delivering a huge diving stomp that put the powerhouse down... but Telan could still turn the tide, if he gets a rematch. Sophia now finds herself next in line for a shot at the Pacific Northwest Championship... but Telan will clearly be waiting in the wings. The struggles of Pure Gold only continue... but against a team like the Wild West, who wouldn't struggle? Lance and Cassie were devastating here... and worked together as a team so well, you'd think they'd been working together constantly over the past two years. A huge lariat from Cassandra Marshall put this one away emphatically. It seems like the Malevolent Triad just can't pull one over on Eri Sentarl or anyone around her. Listalva wasn't about to become a victim... taking Haruka as seriously as she's ever taken an opponent, and picking up a major victory. Markos Andreas finally found himself an opponent he could take down... fellow Greek Alexandria Kirison. This was a stunning turnaround for Markos, but Alex seemed more stunned by it, surprised she actually wound up with the loss here... If there was ever a sign that Winifred Wright still has it, this was it. While she didn't come away with the win, she damn well gave Urani a fight along the way, and although she eventually fell to Urani's devastating Ushi-goroshi, this was a fight to the finish. Eri simply got outplayed here: she just couldn't find an answer for Blake's veteran instinct (and really, Blake does feel like quite the veteran by now!). A disappointing loss, but one to learn from... and also, a question as to where head referee Emma Travers was for this match? When these two meet, it's war. Every single time. But once again, the Dragon conquers... and retains the World Championship, continuing her now NINE-month-long reign into August. An absolutely monstrous showing from Dragon, but make no mistake... Tasharun was as resilient as he's ever been here, and nothing can be taken away from the Demon. Eri Sentarl The Little Phoenix sighs, looking disappointed, but finally gives a shrug. "Fell short... what else can you do, but-" Things suddenly turn chaotic... the cameraman apparently knocked aside. By the time things settle, the Malevolent Triad has invaded the interview, with Haruka and Selisha restraining Eri, arms forced behind her back, while Oscuro steps forward, hands on either side of Eri's head.
"Make a fool of us... week after week... strike against us, even your friends begin to join in on it! But where has it gotten you, Eri... you won all of those matches, for what? So you could challenge... and lose. So let me remind you, Eri, where you belong." Oscuro rears back, before blasting the Little Phoenix in the face with a stiff kick, laying her out... the Triad stomps away at her for a few moments, but are eventually chased off, Kaelara Sentarl and Listalva Anne Heyward coming to the beaten woman's rescue... too late to prevent her beating. The Black Dragon "So many of you thought this was the end... that he could keep me down... that the Demon would finally be the one to stop me. But let me remind you... I am the most dominant force in Phoenix Rising, in the WORLD. I am not a hero... not a villain. I am a force of nature, and there's nothing... NOTHING you can do to stop it. Let the challengers come. Let them all line up... because none of you will ever take this title from my hands. Not. One."

So, as I steadily get back into my normal rhythm here, have the Proving Ground card for Monday. Silver Hawk vs. Nic Nitro Reina del Tigre vs. La Relampaga Pajaro de Fuego vs. Avery Adonis Alexander The Excellent Blades vs. The Golden Ambush Titania vs. Layla Al-Amin Akira Ryusaki vs. Gary Gear Jennifer Phoenix vs. SATOMI for the Inspire Championship The Limbtakers vs. The GOAT (Kellaron/Victor) for the Proving Ground Tag Team ChampionshipsIt's something of a Wrestle Parade showcase, almost: the incredible Silver Hawk takes on one half of Adrenaline Rush in Nic Nitro, in what's nearly guaranteed to be a high-octane opener that has a strong chance of flat-out stealing the show. Adrenaline Rush is fresh off their first win (taking down Winter Fresh last episode), but Silver Hawk has done a lot to shed his reputation of disappointment as of late... could he be making a career resurgence?
Reina del Tigre has exploded onto Proving Ground alongside the Golden Ambush, and has torn through the opponents put in front of her thus far. She's taken down two strong opponents in a row, in Jennifer Phoenix and Layla Al-Amin... and now she gets the Lightning Luchadora, La Relampaga. Can Tigre keep this momentum going? Could an Inspire Championship shot be in her future already?
Avery Adonis Alexander was last seen on Proving Ground some time ago, when the Muscle Machines were beaten by the Excellent Blades. This was, of course, back in episode #36... so the Machines have been away for a little over a month, with an appearance in Lightning Pro perhaps the primary reason for this. But they're back... and Adonis will take on the other half of the Avian Assassins, Pajaro de Fuego. With the luchador's true identity still a mystery (and likely to stay that way), who knows what might happen here?
The first tag action of the night will be between two teams looking to raise their stock in the division: the Excellent Blades have consistently been on the cusp of breaking into the top echelon, while the Golden Ambush have only been around a short time but have made a huge impact. Nicole Blade, however, is coming off of the win of her career, wiping out Titania last episode in perhaps the most impressive showing she's ever had...
Speaking of Titania, she'll be attempting to regain her momentum after that stunning defeat to Blade as she takes on former Inspire Champion, Layla Al-Amin. One of the few high-flying women that Titania has yet to face, she'll be out to bring the Cairo Cyclone down properly here... but Layla is certain to be ready for the powerhouse, without a doubt.
Akira Ryusaki has been beyond impressive... ignoring the win/loss record, his matches have been must-see from day one thus far. This one... may not live up to that, as he's got the other half of the Muscle Machines in Gary Gear. But there is no doubt... if Akira can make this match as incredible as his contests with Kyle Anderson and Victor Kintelas have been, we may have a growing legend on our hands already.
Jennifer Phoenix has her sights set on gold. She's beaten SATOMI twice now: once in Sakura Pro, once in Phoenix Rising, and now, she'll be after the Inspire Championship. But SATOMI, frustrated, seething, isn't likely to give this one up without a fight...
The Limbtakers earned this match a few weeks ago with a win over the Excellent Blades... and it could finally be their moment. Still, the current reigning tag team champions aren't likely to back down now... with Victor and Kellaron so dominant as a team, can anyone stop them? Do the Limbtakers have a chance of toppling the duo? The only way to find out is to see the match with our own eyes...

RNA and Thiago Gracie Standing in the lobby of the Thiago Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym, Gracie and Ruthless Nicole Alger hold a conversation, obviously having followed a hard workout.
Ruthless Nicole Alger: Just wanna say thanks again.
Thiago Gracie: Is no problem, is good.
RNA: No, really. Thanks again for your help. I feel like I'm ready now. Ready to win. And win the right way.
Thiago: You fight good, is good for you. That no credit for Thiago, that credit for Nicole Alger.
RNA: Sure, whatever, not that I agree. But one more thing. You helped me, now I help you. Remember what we said? You're going back after your title, first chance, ok? Don't let that Hong Kong movie star keep you from being your best.
Thiago: That make good sense. Besides, just train and no fight is boring. Time for Thiago Gracie to return, but first, time for Nicole Alger to win belts for her.
RNA: You got it. We're too good not to be champs.
Thiago: Yes, no time for losers, we become champions!
RNA: Is normal.
Muscle Machines Gary Gear: Damn! This is a tough one! I get back from Japan, and now they got me facing a badass from Japan! It's like Lightning Pro is following me around!
Adonis Avery Alexander: Hah. Maybe you have a difficult foe. But I just have Firehawk in a Mask. Excuse me, Mexican Firehawk in a Mask. How hard could that possibly be? I'm clearly the better physical specimen. I'm obviously the genetically superior individual. He has to cover his face. I show mine to the world. Piece of cake.
Gear: Shuddup, you get cross bombed, and you have to max out all your sets tomorrow!
AAA: I win, and you have to do cardio. No, forget that, I'll not be responsible for manslaughter.
Gear: Friggin deal, man! You're goin' down!
AAA: I win, and we get this on film.
Gear: Bring it on! Fear Pajaro de Fuego!

Surprisingly brisk show tonight. Probably the quickest a Proving Ground's run in quite some time, it's kinda weird. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/463200198Youtube: youtu.be/KCeHiGnvta8Quick Results Nic Nitro def. Silver Hawk La Relampaga def. Reina del Tigre Avery Adonis Alexander def. Pajaro de Fuego The Excellent Blades def. The Golden Ambush Titania def. Layla Al-Amin Gary Gear def. Akira Ryusaki SATOMI def. Jennifer Phoenix to retain the Inspire Championship The Limbtakers def. Kellaron and Victor to become the NEW Proving Ground Tag Team Champions Write-ups A wild, hot opener... just two incredible talents doing what they do best, and Nitro coming out ahead in the end in a stunning victory. Very, very impressive... and Adrenaline Rush is looking like a solid duo, suddenly. Someone finally got the better of Reina del Tigre: the Lightning Luchadora didn't let up for a second, keeping an absolutely blistering pace that culminated in a Codebreaker to score the victory. Relampaga might be on her way up the rankings, all of a sudden. Rough night for the Avian Assassins... Pajaro de Fuego just couldn't keep AAA down, and a Pinnacle Dropkick finally kept him down properly, giving the Muscle Machines a big win... much to Gary Gear's chagrin, no doubt. There can remain no doubt in anyone's mind that the Excellent Blades might just be one of the best teams in all of Phoenix Rising, not just Proving Ground. Fantastic teamwork by the Blades here gave them the win: while Nicole Blade handled Tiger, a Kamigoye from Donna to Tigress finished things off and gave them the big win. Does anyone have what it takes anymore? The smaller, more agile members of Proving Ground just don't seem to have an answer for Titania... save for Felice Santana, who holds one of only two wins over the Blue Bomber (the other, of course, belonging to Nicole Blade, who is far from small or agile...) Titania may have her sights set even higher, before long. Gary Gear was almost certainly running on pure anger at AAA's earlier victory (which means, well... he has to do something he hates). Akira Ryusaki caught the brunt of that, the FIRST MOVE of the match being a giant chokeslam, and things didn't improve from there, en route to a huge victory for Gear. Third time's the charm for SATOMI, it seems. Falling to Phoenix in two previous matches, with the Inspire Championship on the line, SATOMI found another gear and finally figured out Phoenix, planting her with a big driver and retaining her title after a sprint of a match. This match didn't let up for a second... submissions came from all sides, but nobody was willing to give in, not even once Victor was busted wide open by a series of knee strikes. Finally, it was a sharp, vicious snap suplex from Candace that seemed to be the moment RNA was willing to capitalize on... deep in the Limbtakers' own corner, it was enough to score the three-count and win the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships, finally... after all their hard work. Titania "You want an answer as to what happened out there? I'll tell you what happened. I beat the 'Cairo Cyclone', and showed her that I am fully capable of doing anything that she can do. Do I need to? Of course not. I overpowered her as I always do... but just keep that in mind, that I am fully capable of doing WHATEVER it takes to win..." SATOMI <I finally wipe away the specter hanging over my head... no longer worried about Jennifer Phoenix. Proving that, once and for all, I can beat you... and now I hear talk that this was likely your last Proving Ground match. So go have fun with the Eri Sentarls and Blake Dynamites on Showdown... and remember that this title belongs to me, and will never... NEVER be yours.> Victor and Kellaron "Ride had to end one way or another." Victor rolls a shoulder, pressing a towel to his head, still wiping away the blood. "You never want to fall short. You always figure, you're gonna hold those titles forever, until the night comes where someone steps up and proves otherwise."
"But we're not calling this the end." Kellaron gives a firm nod. "Now I think we've still got a fair bit left we can do here on Proving Ground... but at the same time, we could make the jump, a lot like our old rivals did, and take on Showdown. I don't know what we're gonna do yet... but you better believe that the moment we know, you will too. And we're going to tear it up just as we have these past few months as champions... because we have proved that we're the best around here, and we'll be the best no matter where we go."

The Limbtakers It's a joyous scene in the locker room of Candace Monroe and Ruthless Nicole Alger. Monroe is finishing up with changing back into her street clothes and takes a long look at her title belt sitting on the bench in front of the locker. Meanwhile, Alger walks back into the room, on the phone.
Ruthless Nicole Alger: Yeah, dad, one of us got a belt this year. Yeah, it's nice and shiny. You'll get to see it...no! She's not doing that! Look, I gotta go here, finish packing up. Celebration time, you know. Yeah, yeah, love you too, later.
Candace Monroe: Talkin' to the Dangerous One, are you?
RNA: Yeah. He's excited for us, for sure. But something's off. I don't know, I just, it's not like it's real. We worked so long, so hard. And then, it's not like we planned that out, not like it's one of my big moves, I don't know, just feels weird.
Candace: But we got the win! Who cares how it happened? We've never been about the fancy stuff, we do what works, and way I see it, what we did worked, because we got a pair of nice new Proving Ground Tag Titles right here.
RNA: Can't argue with that. We sure went through a lot for this.
Candace: Yeah.
RNA: And thanks for tolerating my mess. I didn't make this easy on you.
Candace: And how many times did I miss the save or tap too fast for you to help? Neither one of us had a perfect run here. We both ticked each other off at times, but we worked through it, that's how real people function in a partnership.
RNA: And now we're joint partners in a golden investment.
Candace: Damn straight we are.
RNA: So, now that we're on top of the heap, what's next?
Candace: Celebration time, that's what. Let's go out there and paint the town, green and black.
RNA: Green and black attack, come get some.
Candace: You know, first thing's first, we gotta get some food, let's find the best non-fancy restaurant we can afford, get the good stuff, and then we're gonna hit the clubs at a thousand kilometers per second, we're not just stopping at one, we're going to run through every one they let us into...
RNA: We're champions, they're letting us in anywhere we please.
Candace: Then we're going to hit up every club in the city, which means we're going to...

Two previews to knock out tonight: we'll start with Thursday's show, the return of Evergreen after a short hiatus due to the 49th Parallel. Concrete Pete vs. Eddy Introspect
The Sheridan Brothers vs. The Bingo Hall Mutants
Julian Shepard vs. Kevin Royce
Elly Blackwood vs. Veronika Armstrong
Rebecca Andrews and Sayaka Saito vs. eMo (Sookie/Penelope)
El Evergringo vs. Kantar
Eternamente Verde vs. Mercy DevineFirst thing's first, what the hell, a NEW SIGNING? Yes, that's right, Concrete Pete is making his Evergreen debut... and, well, let's be honest, this is probably about the best place for the guy, 'cause he's not exactly the most athletically built man around. Eddy Introspect, though, is gonna have his hands full dealing with this newcomer... Pete's sure to live up to the Evergreen spirit, because Mercy wouldn't have signed him otherwise. The Sheridan Brothers just don't learn. Time and time again they challenge the reigning Evergreen Tag Team Champions (although they're not the only ones) and the Bingo Hall Mutants sweep them aside... will this time be any different? ... Probably not. Julian Shepard found himself in a bit of a slump after losing the Evergreen Championship to Eternamente Verde: three straight losses to the current champion, and a crushing defeat at the hands of Kantar last episode. Now he's got Kevin Royce to deal with, and the former owner of Evergreen is sure to be in a foul mood... as if there's any other mood for the guy. Elly Blackwood is here to stay. Two matches, two victories, wiping out Young Blood and Kevin Royce thus far... now she sets her sights on the first Evergreen Champion in Veronika Armstrong. The Oakland native is going to have one hell of a time surviving this one, no matter how tough she might be... Veronika's tag partners won't have it much easier as they step into the ring with Penelope Lea and Strawberry Sookie of eMo. Look for this one to be a rough affair: Rebecca and Sayaka are tough, but Sookie and Penelope have definitely shown a mean streak as of late. Do I even need to say anything about this? It'd take a damn miracle for Evergringo to get out of this one with anything resembling a victory. Let's face it: Kantar's likely to run roughshod over the Whitest Luchador Alive. The Evergreen Champion meets the boss: Mercy Devine wants a crack at Verde herself, and the psychotic luchadora seems all too willing to give her the opportunity. Could this be the moment Mercy finally goes full-on tyrant over Evergreen? Next Monday, Showdown Episode 39... and it's a big one. Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Besos
The Malevolent Triad (Haruka and Selisha) vs. The Sentarl Sisters
Mallory Spaulding vs. Alexandria Kirison
Kanjirin Tonorian vs. Markos Andreas
Les Beautes Blondes vs. The Wild West
Shiana Sentarl vs. Fenix Oscuro
Sophia Moretti vs. Blake Dynamite for the Pacific Northwest Championship
Main Event: Black Dragon issues Open Challenge, non-title match
What's certain to be a wild, hot opener this week: the #3 and #4 in the rankings for the Pacific Northwest Championship square off. While Listalva Anne Heyward has seemingly walked away from the tactics that Besos is so fond of, she's still not an opponent to take lightly... and Besos is sure to make this one a hell of an opening contest. Two matches were signed after the Triad's shocking attack on Eri Sentarl last week: firstly, Kaelara Sentarl will stand beside her sister, standing together as the reigning ESTRELLA Dual Hearts Champions, and fully prepared to make Haruka and Selisha regret taking part in the attack. Pure Gold in singles action? That's right: the struggling team will work separately this week, with Mallory Spaulding kicking things off against Alexandria Kirison... and immediately following that, Kanjirin Tonorian will take on the other Greek member of the Showdown roster in Markos Andreas. Could this be leading to something bigger in the coming weeks? Les Beautes Blondes were frustrated last week in another stunning defeat to the Rising Storm: the new Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions, for the third time. Now the Blondes have to bounce back, but they'll have to square off with two of the toughest in all of Phoenix Rising as they take on the Wild West. The Marshalls are looking to make their mark on the tag team division... Fresh off recovering from her injury at the hands of Alexandria Kirison, Shiana Sentarl jumps straight back into action against a vicious, dangerous foe: the woman who's hounded her oldest daughter relentlessly for the past year. Fenix Oscuro, meanwhile, is eager to get her hands on the Queen: one wrong move and she could very well end the career of a living legend in Phoenix Rising. Sophia Moretti earned this chance last week after she defeated Telan Kintelas to leapfrog him in the rankings... putting off the seemingly inevitable face-off between rivals Blake and Telan once again. The Italian Monster seems determined to finish her rise back to the top by taking down Blake: but the Pacific Northwest Champion has been incredible thus far, and it could very well still be Blake vs. Telan one more time come Showdown #40. The Black Dragon seems to be showing no remorse, giving no apology, and tolerating no resistance on her path through every single fed she storms through. An unscheduled appearance in OASIS this past Sunday night only cements her as someone who's willing to do whatever she wants at any moment... she could appear anywhere, challenge anyone, destroy anyone who dares to stand in that ring with her. But this week, she welcomes whoever wants to step up to the task... any member of the Phoenix Rising roster that wishes to take her on, will be given their chance here and now. Dragon also had a fair bit to say: The Black Dragon "You want an explanation? You'll get one. You want an apology? You're not getting that crap. Let me spell this out for you: I go where I want. Whenever I want. And at any point... I could show up, destroy whoever happens to be in that ring, and come away one more title richer for it. That guy running OASIS wants to curse me out for showing up and doing what I do... You were the warning shot. Make no mistake, if I wanted to claim your "Queen of the Nile" title, I'd have it whenever I wanted... I already proved that. Just like I proved it in Phoenix Rising. In Blackrose. In Lightning Pro. No one is safe. I can go anywhere in the world, and I don't take orders from anyone. Make no mistake, I didn't show up because Firehawk ordered it, or even wanted it. I showed up because I decided I wanted to. Because I wanted to send a message. Because I wanted to make DAMN SURE that everyone was on notice.
There is nobody in this world that can stop me. There is nobody in this world that can control me. I am the Phoenix Rising World Champion. I am the most dominant champion EVERYWHERE I go... and nobody... nobody can change that."

Fastest show in Fire Pro that isn't centered around boxing. That's Evergreen, all right. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/464597006Youtube: youtu.be/PY5aoaIA8qYQuick Results Concrete Pete def. Eddy Introspect The Bingo Hall Mutants def. The Sheridan Brothers Kevin Royce def. Julian Shepard Elly Blackwood def. Veronika Armstrong Rebecca Andrews and Sayaka Saito def. eMo El Evergringo def. Kantar (!!!!!!) Eternamente Verde def. Mercy Devine Write-ups This may be the single most impressive debut that anyone's ever had in the entire Phoenix Rising organization. Concrete Pete exploded onto the scene with this match, eventually driving Eddy Introspect down with a Tornado Slam that left him knocked out cold... and the troubles for eMo didn't end with this match. Another show, another dominant performance from the Mutants, who made the Sheridans look like a pair of jobbers. Not much else to say here. Julian put up a solid showing here... but Kevin Royce was determined to make sure that everyone knew... the old boss is BACK, and in a big way. While Kevin may not be in charge of the fed anymore, he's no less dangerous in the ring, showing that with an Iron Claw Slam that he simply didn't release until Julian gave up. Veronika gave this one her all. But Elly Blackwood doesn't call herself "Invincible" for nothing... and she'd eventually let her armwork speak for itself, a vicious stomp leading into a cross armbreaker to finish the job. Eddy wasn't the only member of eMo to be left in a crumpled heap tonight, as a Fisherman DDT from Sayaka Saito laid Penelope Lea out in a stunning turn of events. Sookie didn't have a great night... both of her partners left out cold on the mats, and who knows what she might be doing tonight? Kantar looked like he was well on his way to crushing Evergringo here: and then, he woke up. Something seemed to trigger in Evergringo during this match, and he found another gear that kept Kantar from overpowering him. The demon did everything he could to try and keep Evergringo down... and en route to his familiar Triple Powerbomb, Evergringo suddenly rolled with the momentum, snapped Kantar up in a roll-up, and scored the upset of the decade! Kantar's first-ever defeat at the hands of an Evergreen roster member... the only other loss coming at the hands of Young Blood, and this could put Evergringo in line for something huge. The boss or not, Eternamente Verde doesn't care. Put anyone across from her in the ring, and she'll do whatever it takes to beat them: that familiar scythe cut Mercy wide open, and Verde never looked back, slamming the boss down with a Hurricane Driver and putting this one away in dominant, impressive fashion. El Evergringo "Even the biggest and baddest can't take their eyes off the prize for a second! Kantar, you came into that ring and expected something easy, something real simple, and every single person watching counted me out from the start... but I know what I'm capable of, I know what I can do no matter who I'm up against, and it's about time someone showed you that you're not an unstoppable monster... Young Blood did it, but I'm the one that made you feel it, because I belong here, in this place, with these people! I took from you something that you can never get back... that undefeated record you were so proud of is finished.
Now... I'm going to have a talk with Verde, because I think there's a lot we have to discuss tonight." Concrete Pete "Look, I ain't set out to go and break that guy in half like a twig, but when ya' put some skinny little guy out there, accidents are gonna happen. That's the way it goes... Least everyone got a taste of what you're gonna get havin' me around, got that?" Pete laughs, a loud, boisterous sound, slaps a hand on his gut and grins. "Evergreen better watch out, 'cause I'm here to stay."
