Felice Felice Santana: I like this match, but I have to be really really careful because Allison doesn't want me to fly like I flew against Princesa, and I was, like, really happy to be back in my home town! But now I feel like this is my home too, so I'm really happy to be back here in Proving Ground, and I wanna see if I can go so fast that I don't get caught by Allison, because if she does catch me, I'm in trouble!
RNA Ruthless Nicole Alger: Ok, Zach, your brother pissed me and Candace off, real bad. Maybe it's not your fault. But I'm blaming you too. And I'm hoping I can lock in the Ruthless Armripper real deep. And if I make you tap, don't think I'm stopping. I'll be like Rousimar Palhares against Jake Shields, no letting go. I'll crank that arm like Frank Mir, rip and tear. Because you mess with my girl, Candace, you get what you get. Come get some.
Muscle Machines Gary Gear: Don't friggin' start, AAA, don't even think about it.
Adonis Avery Alexander: After last time, we need this. An easy match.
Gear: Alexander, you think I'm a blockhead? You call this easy?
AAA: Two women, why would it not be?
Gear: They're psychos! They're both double tough! And they're strong, period! You see what the Heywards have done? A lot more than our sorry asses!
AAA: Calm down and inject some more roids, lunkhead. We have this in the bag. Easily. And if you think there's anything to be scared of here, we already lost this match. And I don't want to lose another match for a while.
Gear: Do you hear what I'm trying to tell you?
AAA: Yeah, and I do not give a care. They're tough, sure.,,
Gear: Don't...
AAA: ...for women.
Gear: Argh! If you're taking this too lightly, I need to take it even more seriously! I need to exceed the limits! I need to go beyond! I need to bench more, squat more, deadlift MORE! I need total prep time! I need to MAX OUT MORE THAN THE MAX!
AAA: Whatever.

We got through the show, thankfully. Nothing took us out tonight, so all went as normal. Lucky lucky, y'know. (AND NO TECHNICAL ISSUES THIS WEEK) Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/379334041Youtube: youtu.be/jlcqdKM0xoAQuick Results Allison Avery def. Felice Santana Hugo Dirksen def. Kyle Anderson Donna Nobel def. Veronika Armstrong Rey de la Carne def. Todd Colton Zack Sheridan def. Ruthless Nicole Alger Mascara Avispa def. Kellaron Sentarl The Heyward Sisters def. The Muscle Machines Vincent Sheridan def. Candace Monroe Layla Al-Amin def. Fresh Suzuki to retain the Inspire Championship Victor Kintelas def. Elly Blackwood to retain the Top Prospect Championship Pure Gold def. The Avian Assassins to retain the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships Write-ups A match that Allison was able to set the pace for early on. She did as expected... Felice couldn't get a foothold, and Allison ran right through her. Tough night for the young Dominican, but she's sure to bounce back like always. Once again, Kyle falls short. What's it going to take to find his way back on track? He had a few words after this match, but it's hard to tell what's going through Kyle's mind these days... Maybe it was lingering exhaustion from defending her title against Mercy Devine, or maybe Donna Nobel is just that good. Either way, this match went firmly in Donna's favor, ahead of her tag partner's return in two weeks... Nicole Blade is on her way back to the ring, and the Excellent Blades may have their eyes set on a rematch with Pure Gold. Even with Natasha's support at ringside, Todd couldn't quite get the job done here, though this match wound up being a much tougher contest than expected. Still, Rey de la Carne continues to show that he's one of Proving Ground's best... could he be headed for a rematch with Victor Kintelas? Zack Sheridan was in trouble for a lot of this matchup. RNA was locked in, targeting his arm with her signature efficiency... but one small mistake led to Zack taking advantage, and he'd roll Alger up to steal a victory, narrowly escaping with his arms intact tonight. Kellaron Sentarl may not have gotten the win here, but he did prove that he could hang tough with one of the best in the world. Avispa, meanwhile, is likely to be the next in line to challenge for the Top Prospect Championship... and Victor Kintelas may not have what it takes to stop him. Perhaps now Avery Adonis Alexander will listen to his tag partner... strangely, Gary Gear wound up being the voice of reason, as the Heywards, despite some minor miscommunication, managed to work together and bring down AAA, with Listalva landing her signature Shooting Star Press almost as far away from Gear as they could muster... and the big man couldn't make it in time to break up the pin, certainly not with Anari blocking his path as well. Candace Monroe goes home more frustrated than ever. Unable to bring most of her dangerous legwork to bear tonight, she nevertheless did manage to land a Gotch-style piledriver, but couldn't seal the victory. There was some confusion in the closing moments of the match... but the result was that Vincent landed a massive Double Lotation Moonsault (a'la his older brother Blake), and Candace goes down in defeat. It was a good night to be a champion. While Fresh Suzuki gave the Cairo Cyclone her biggest challenge yet, the Inspire Champion stepped up her game late in the match, and Layla Al-Amin retains her title after hitting a big Super Rana, narrowly coming away with the victory. Fresh Suzuki, however, may not be kept from the top for much longer. Victor clearly did his homework for this rematch. Where Elly simply ran roughshod over the Top Prospect last episode, Victor wasn't going to be pushed around tonight, working Elly over even as she aimed to destroy his arms the whole way... some might call a controversial finish, with referee Hana Brightly calling for the bell, but nobody's entirely sure if Elly tapped out. However, Elly would speak on the subject after the show. The Proving Ground Tag Team Champions stood triumphant yet again this week. Pure Gold looks utterly unstoppable, and while the Avian Assassins did their best to try and bring the champs down, Kanjirin Tonorian's Jackhammer would put the final nail in the coffin, landing it in his own corner and once again defending the titles that have been theirs from day one. Pure Gold "Another team goes down in flames. Another challenger, tossed aside. There's no one here that can stop us, you know it, we know it, the entire roster knows it." Kanjirin Tonorian speaks alone tonight, Mallory standing behind him with a smug look on her face. "But the fact is, another team needs to step up and take their shot. The problem with THAT... is that there aren't too damn many teams left to pick from. But I am not about to give those two idiots a shot until we've exhausted every other choice. I will not let Kellaron and Victor be the ones to take these titles, and I will not let them even have the chance until I'm forced to. So you've got a choice... Team Proving Ground. I know who you've got in your ranks. What I want you to do is pick the best two you've got. You send your absolute best at the two of us, because you only get ONE CHANCE at this. You blow it this time... then you're not getting another shot at us."
"You better damn well believe, though... that if Elly Blackwood wants to come along for the ride, I'm gonna push that 'Invincible' body to its fucking limit. We'll see how 'Invincible' someone can be after getting dumped on their damn head." Mallory sneers, and her smirk closes out the feed. Elly Blackwood "Already, I'm hearing people talking about how I was robbed. How I got screwed out of a win because I never tapped out. You've got no idea what that hold's like. Week after week, Victor and his father both use it to brutal effect. Kileas made TASHARUN tap out to that hold, people. Victor's just as good at applying it. I'm good. I'm Invincible. But that hold... even I can't take Victor putting it on as many times as he did." Elly glances off-screen for a moment, as a voice speaks up.
"But... -did- you tap out, Elly?"
She doesn't answer, simply packs her bag, and walks out of the room. Kyle Anderson "I've had enough of being the one that keeps falling short. The one that keeps blowing all the opportunities. The one that people like Victor can keep taking shots at, because they think they're better. Next Proving Ground, you're gonna learn real fast just how sick of this bullshit I really am."

Showdown next week will see some fresh faces... some debuting, some with big-time overhauls, and all culminating in an all-out war over the Tag Team Championships... Pre-Show: Sophia Moretti vs. Angel Leblanc
Pre-Show: Adrenaline Rush (Tommy Thunder and Nic Nitro) vs. Natasha Clover and Todd Colton
Pre-Show: Haruka Matsura vs. Rachel White
Pre-Show Bonus: Yuki Maeda (DEBUT) vs. Laenara Kintelas
Telan Kintelas vs. Mascara Avispa
Cassandra Marshall vs. Eri Sentarl
Blake Dynamite vs. The Phantom Thief
Shiana Sentarl vs. Elise Pichon
Lance Marshall vs. Urani Whitemist
Kaelara Sentarl vs. Besos
The Black Dragon vs. Binak Tonorian
Firehawk Sentarl, Rilantha De Nav, Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright vs. Tasharun, Kantar, Xiu Mei Li and Anahera in an 8-man Elimination Tag Match, winner competes for the Tag Team Championships at Showdown #28
Sophia Moretti's new look and attitude served her well despite another defeat last Showdown... but now she sets her sights on a familiar foe, although Angel Leblanc seems prepared to bring a brand-new look to the party herself... will the Monaco native's arrogance be her downfall, or will Sophia's run of bad luck continue?
The debut of Todd and Natasha as a tag team is matched by a brand-new team arriving in Phoenix Rising: Adrenaline Rush, consisting of Nic Nitro and Tommy Thunder, coming over from familiar territory, none other than Wrestle Parade. This new team is poised to make a big splash in the tag division... but do they have what it takes against Showdown's newest power couple?
Haruka Matsura dropped off the radar for a while... but she's set to make her return here, taking on Rachel White to close out this week's pre-show. Rumor has it that she's been undergoing a strict training regimen since her last match in Phoenix Rising: which was, in fact, a 7-woman battle royal in which Haruka was the first eliminated. In fact, this will be Haruka's first appearance of 2019... will it be a new era for the ninja?
Telan Kintelas sets his sights on one of the best in the world this week... Mascara Avispa is coming to the main show, though whether this will be a full-time change or just a one-off, nobody's entirely certain yet. What is certain is that Telan will have his hands full with Avispa, who has proven time and again that he is one of the single best juniors in the world, and is likely more than capable of handling whatever offense Telan can muster...
Cassandra Marshall was surprisingly calm last week... perhaps owing to the crowd's surprising restraint on the ongoing rumor between her and Lance. Has the rumor finally been laid to rest? Or will it make a resurgence at the worst moment... Eri Sentarl will certainly be hoping for the former, certainly not wanting to face off with a pissed-off Texan.
It's certain junior chaos as we move on down the line, with Blake Dynamite and the Phantom Thief set to square off. Thief has been wildly inconsistent as always, lately, while Blake has yet to fully find his footing on Showdown... but this match may go a long way towards helping either man get themselves on track for the future.
Shiana Sentarl's goal remains the same as before: puncture the egos of Les Beautes Blondes. Already holding a victory over Michelle Rochefort, she now sets her sights on Elise Pichon, considered by many to be the most dangerous of the trio. But Shiana showed off a lot of skill last week... and Elise may finally meet her match against the seasoned veteran.
Another clash of the biggest and baddest in Phoenix Rising, and another age-old rematch: Urani Whitemist and Lance Marshall are set to collide once again. There's little else to be said: these two have faced each other a few times now, and rarely disappoint.
Kaelara Sentarl is a very busy woman, these days. With the sudden call from AAW, the Phoenix Rising Women's Champion finds herself in something of a predicament: will her focus be on Phoenix Rising ahead of her big match? Or will the distraction prove too much for the champion to handle? Either way, Besos is clearly ready to take on the best of the best this week.
The Black Dragon's boasting last week caught the attention of a man who has no need for championships, has no desire for glory... but is more than willing to send an out-of-control ego back to earth. Binak Tonorian steps into the ring with the World Champion, and while he doesn't seek the championship for himself, he won't hesitate to remind the Dragon that there is always someone bigger, stronger, and far more dangerous out there... a lesson she may take to heart before the night is done.
Showdown closes with an absolutely colossal 8-man tag match, with incredible stakes on the line. Each of the four teams in the hunt for the Tag Team Championships (including the champions themselves) have been split into two sides: on one side, the champions, Firehawk and Rilantha, and their hated rivals, Kileas and Winifred. On the other side, the demons, Tasharun and Kantar, and the incredible Rising Storm, Xiu Mei and Anahera. The goal is clear: the winning team moves on to Showdown #28, its two partner teams squaring off with each other, and the last team standing will be the champions when the dust finally settles. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that this is the biggest match that any of these four teams have ever been a part of... and this is only the beginning.

An additional match has been added to this week's Showdown, to close out the pre-show: the company recently came to terms with signing Yuki Maeda, mother of the Blackwood Academy's Keiko Maeda and an old friend and rival to a few of Phoenix Rising's veterans, namely Shiana, Winifred, Eve Blackwood and Rilantha. Yuki will be taking on Laenara Kintelas in her Phoenix Rising debut, and the Japanese veteran seeks to continue her storied career... this is not a woman who sees fit to back down even as she gets older, as she's stated her intentions to go for the Women's Championship before long.

A late start nevertheless led to an absolutely wild night of action, and a couple of matches were set up in the process. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/383150636Youtube: youtu.be/S0Ng495MEskQuick Results Sophia Moretti def. Angel Leblanc Todd Colton and Natasha Clover def. Adrenaline Rush Rachel White def. Haruka Matsura Yuki Maeda def. Laenara Kintelas Mascara Avispa def. Telan Kintelas Eri Sentarl def. Cassandra Marshall Blake Dynamite def. The Phantom Thief Shiana Sentarl def. Elise Pichon Lance Marshall def. Urani Whitemist Kaelara Sentarl def. Besos Binak Tonorian def. The Black Dragon Firehawk, Rilantha, Kileas, Winifred def. Anahera, Xiu Mei, Tasharun, Kantar Write-ups A much stronger showing this week for Sophia, who finally appears to have gotten it all together... a rough night, however, for the new-look Angel Leblanc, who would later find out that she can avoid the match she's been fearing for weeks now... An absolutely electric debut for both teams tonight, with Adrenaline Rush showing just how good they really are... while Todd and Natasha remained a step ahead of the game, anyway. Still, it took one of Natasha's rarest moves to finish this one off: the Wild Pitch was broken out for the first time in what's almost certainly over a year. While it simply looks like a Pitching Chop, there's some sort of unexplained power behind that move... something Natasha refuses to fully explain beyond "I'm the fucking Devil Hand, shut up". A rough outing for Haruka in her first match of 2019... perhaps a mistake made on the top rope roll-up counter? There was some talk about this one, and it's been decided that they'll have a rematch in two weeks to see if things click a little better this time. Yuki Maeda may be 42 years of age, but she certainly doesn't look like she's slowing down any... showing off a deep technical know-how along with a stunning level of power, she picked Laenara Kintelas apart, and had easily the most impressive debut anyone's had in Phoenix Rising in a very long time. Now that Yuki's arrived... who will she set her sights on? Speed beat power tonight, with Avispa simply outplaying Telan at every corner. Telan just couldn't get anything rolling, and fell victim to a big springboard hurricanrana, giving Avispa a big win... and possibly a full-time spot on the main roster. Speed would then beat power again in the very next matchup, with Eri refusing to give up even as Cassandra overpowered her. It appeared that the crowd, now fully back to its old ways, was getting to Cassandra... and while it gave her the upper hand for a few moments, Eri took advantage of her distracted state, and while Cassandra stood dazed, Eri landed a flying moonsault that took Cassandra down, and gave the Little Phoenix a major victory. The Phantom Thief appears to have settled back into his old ways. As he's been unable to find the same success again, Blake Dynamite simply ran through him, finally nailing a big Double Lotation for another convincing victory, one that keeps Blake in the discussions for one of the best on the main roster. Elise has, traditionally, been one of the most dominant women in Phoenix Rising since she arrived. Shiana Sentarl, however, was on a mission tonight: having already defeated Michelle Rochefort, Shiana needed to also defeat Elise Pichon in order to get the match she's been seeking since the anniversary show: one with Angel Leblanc. And Shiana did not disappoint, landing two big superkicks in this one, the second of which would put the match to rest, and give her the showdown with Angel she so desperately wants. It doesn't get much better than this. The top two stars in Phoenix Rising, according to the fans, squaring off once again, with nothing but pride on the line. Still, it felt like Lance Marshall was looking for a measure of payback against the woman who took the World Championship from him... and he showed no restraint, landing multiple Cattle Drives until the final one left Urani in an unconscious heap. Was this a message of some sort? Is Lance equally as tired of hearing the rumors between him and his sister as Cassandra is? The early parts of this match seemed to suggest Besos had no chance against the Women's Champion. Kaelara was in absolute control of this one from the bell... nearly beating her in short order. But it felt like a switch flipped in Besos, and she began to fight back... and while Kae was able to fight her off for quite some time, BESOS finally landed not once, but twice... at least giving Besos the victory in one sense. Still, Kae would finally figure out a way to put the match to rest, taking Besos down with her signature Dragon Sleeper, and narrowly escaping with another victory... maybe the hardest-fought one she's had since becoming champion. This is not the way that anyone anticipated this matchup going. Binak was supposed to come into the ring, destroy the World Champion, and bring her back down to earth. Instead, Binak wound up in the fight of his life, as Dragon simply WOULD NOT DIE. Working a few of her deadly submission holds, she'd also manage to bust the giant wide open, bringing his stamina into question mid-way through the match... and while Binak would eventually put her away, there's no doubt that this won't have the intended effect... Dragon may have lost, but she may only be more arrogant than before, thanks to this war. It was absolute chaos, and a match that surprisingly didn't go as long as anticipated... that didn't mean that there was any less action involved, though. Still, there was one common theme throughout this match: Winifred Wright is an absolute badass, easily the MVP for her team, and not just because she forced Tasharun to tap out. Firehawk and Rilantha will take on Kileas and Winifred for the tag titles next Showdown... while the Rising Storm and the demons will almost certainly have something to settle. The Black Dragon Dragon has the World Championship draped over her shoulder, her ribs taped up, and yet she levels a death glare at the camera. "Someone got it in their head that they've gotta take me down a peg. That you've got the RIGHT to tell me that I'm getting too cocky. That what I said after last Showdown wasn't the truth. Did you see what the hell it took tonight? Do you see what you've got to do, now? To bring me down, to claim THIS-" She slaps a hand on the championship, "from my hands? It took a literal GIANT to bring me down, and even that took a hell of a lot more than anyone's capable of. I made him bleed. I nearly beat his ass anyway. So next time you want to send some kind of message my way... do yourself a favor. Remember what happened tonight. And remember that I am STILL the World Champion."

Shortly after Lance vs. Urani, backstage: Laenara Kintelas appears to be storming through the back: with Urani brought back to check on her condition, Laenara appears to be livid, and finally spots the two figures she's been looking for... focusing her attention on one in particular, Lance Marshall, with Cassandra also standing nearby. Lae storms right up to the cowboy with fire in her eyes. "So, what, you hold a grudge from months ago? Finally spot your chance to get the payback you wanted so damn badly? You find it that hard to admit someone could possibly be better than the great Lance Marshall, huh?"
"This ain't about a grudge. You'd best back off this in a hurry." Lance seems almost... bemused, standing almost a full foot taller than Lae, who nevertheless is standing up to him with no fear.
"Sure as hell looked like one, big guy, and you'd better figure out a good excuse quick if you don't want me to lay you the hell out!"
"Oh, yeah, just like ya' did to Miss Maeda earlier, huh? How'd that go for ya', someone comin' in debutin' at 42 and ya' can't handle it?" Cassandra rolls her eyes, stepping between the two by now.
"Keep your nose out of this, Cassie. I lost to a long-time vet, you lost to someone who'd crumple in a stiff breeze. Lemme give you some advice... this place isn't for the weak, for the timid, for the thin-skinned. Poor girl can't deal with a fake-as-shit rumor, maybe you ought to run along home back to your little ranch, and stay there, because you don't have what it takes if it's that easy to set you off!"
"You keep yer mouth shut, or you're gonna look like your girlfriend did tonight, maybe you'll get put in the same hospital room!" Cassandra's body is tense... but so is Laenara's, Lance looking slightly concerned by now.
"You know what, I wouldn't want to keep you away from your ALONE TIME with Lance-" Lae's said the magic words... and just like that, a brawl's broken out, with Lance trying to pull Cassandra away, and having no luck with it. By the time the fight's been stopped, Laenara's still trying to pull herself free and get at the Marshalls, despite the blood running down her face, while Lance has finally managed to pull his sister away from the scuffle, even as the two women shout insults at each other. One thing's clear... Laenara and Cassandra will have to settle this dispute sooner or later... but where will Lance fit into this mess?

Although the Blackwood Academy show is Saturday, there's also (of course) Proving Ground two days later. Here's how it hashes out. Pre-Show: Veronika Armstrong vs. Felice Santana
Pre-Show: Kevin Royce vs. Mascara Avispa
Pre-Show: The Excellent Blades vs. Winter Fresh
Kyle Anderson vs. Todd Colton
Avery Adonis Alexander vs. Rey de la Carne
Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. Vincent Sheridan
Argent vs. Gary Gear
Candace Monroe vs. Zack Sheridan
Victor Kintelas and Kellaron Sentarl vs. The Avian Assassins
Layla Al-Amin vs. Listalva Anne Heyward
Main Event: Team Proving Ground (Elly Blackwood and Hugo Dirksen) vs. Pure Gold for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships
Veronika Armstrong's Evergreen run has been a strong one... but her Phoenix Rising tenure has been less impressive. She'll step into the ring with Felice Santana this week, looking to get herself back on track... just three days before she's set to take on Julian Shepard in Evergreen. Mascara Avispa, fresh off of a major victory on Showdown, might be making his final Proving Ground appearance this week... and he'll go out against one of the biggest and baddest on Proving Ground and Evergreen alike. Kevin Royce would love to send Avispa off with a loss... but can he keep up with the incredible junior? It's finally time! The Excellent Blades return to action with a recovered Nicole Blade, and they'll be taking on one of the wildest teams around: Winter Fresh also steps back into the spotlight, as Rin Ryusaki and Fresh Suzuki seek to dampen the momentum of one of the best teams on Proving Ground. Kyle Anderson was in quite the foul mood after his loss to Hugo Dirksen last week... and now, his sights are set on Todd Colton. Rumor has it that Kyle's coming back this week with a new attitude... among other things. Can Todd even hope to stand up to the new Kyle? Rey de la Carne had a one-on-one with Gary Gear some time ago... but never got the chance to face off with the other half of the Muscle Machines. That'll be remedied this week, as Avery Adonis Alexander steps into the ring with the former Top Prospect... will he deal with the match better than Gear did? The feud between the Limbtakers and the Sheridan brothers hasn't cooled off yet. The Sheridans scored two victories last week, bringing both RNA and Candace down one-on-one... but now, they've traded opponents in the hopes of repeating their feat. But Ruthless Nicole Alger will be looking for revenge here... and considering Vincent is the source of their anger, she's likely to be looking to take Vincent's arm off... Gary Gear will have to deal with a much different threat than his tag partner this week. He'll have to deal with Argent... and considering what Argent's shown to be capable of, Gear will likely have his hands full. As strong as he is, Argent will almost certainly have the stamina advantage... and the threat of Quicksilver, as well. Candace Monroe is in a foul mood. With no matches to tide her over between her loss to Vincent Sheridan and this week's Proving Ground, she'll have had two weeks to stew on the loss, and that likely means bad news for Zack Sheridan, especially if Candace comes ready for a fight. It's the return of another tag team this week, as Victor and Kellaron finally reunite for a tag match. The Top Prospect will put his singles duties aside for this week as they take on the Avian Assassins, last week's challengers for the tag titles, who will be looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to Pure Gold... Layla Al-Amin has been an unstoppable Inspire Champion. But she'll have to deal with the FIRST Inspire Champion this week in Queen Anne, Listalva Anne Heyward. Listalva has been out to reclaim the title she lost months ago, but she'll have to figure out some way to ground the Cairo Cyclone... and nobody's managed that feat just yet. Team Proving Ground finally gets their shot at tag gold once again. Elly Blackwood and Hugo Dirksen team up, and Pure Gold may want to watch their arms, because this duo may just rip them off entirely... if they don't concuss the champions instead. This is certain to be one of the hardest-hitting tag matches in Proving Ground history, make no mistake... and could finally, FINALLY spell the end of the Pure Gold reign of terror... we can only dream. Candace Monroe "Y'know, you guys probably figured it was over and done with, because you won last week. Figured that you got away with it all, but I don't forget that shit easily. So you guys get to swap... Zack gets to find out what happens when you piss me off, and Vincent... I hope you're ready for Nicole to tear your arm off, 'cause she'll damn well do it." Elly Blackwood "One week, I'm challenging Victor for the Top Prospect title... and I fall short. Victor's one of the best there is... I figured he might step up to the occasion, and he didn't let anyone down. But I did. I didn't live up to who I'm supposed to be. But this opportunity... this week, Hugo and I team up to come after the best team in Phoenix Rising. The best... because you've never run into us. There's only one person on Proving Ground that's on the same level of breaking arms and overpowering people around here, and that's Hugo Dirksen... so Mallory, Kanjirin, this is where it all comes to an end. We're not only gonna take the titles, we're gonna chase you off this show so you can go play with the so-called big boys on Showdown... even though we all know that the moment you step up, you'll never regain what you had here. You already went up there to take on the champs, and you choked... and you're gonna choke this week, whether it's a Tigerdriver, whether we break your arms, it doesn't matter... because this 'historic' championship reign is OVER."

Felice Felice Santana: Wow, they must really love me around here to give me a, like, really really important opponent like Veronika, she’s too good, but she’s also like, you know, super rough and tough, so it’s almost as if they just put me in a match with someone who was so much not like me that it’s almost as if I was looking in a mirror but it was a mirror that showed your opposite! But anyway, my granddaddy tells me I talk too much without saying what I need to say, so I just like, need to say that I’m ready to go out there and show why the Santana style is the best, and that no matter what I look up to Veronika because while I don’t like, want to wrestle like her, I want to have a bit of the spirit she wrestles with, if that makes sense? I’m ready for this, I think!
RNA Ruthless Nicole Alger: So now I got another shot at a Sheridan. I’d say I was excited. But that doesn’t describe it. Instead, I’ll say I’m prepared. Nothing more, nothing less. Prepared to rip some arms and kick some heads. Maybe me and Candice came up short the last time. But we’re ready now. Come get some.
Muscle Machines Gary Gear: YARRRRGGH! THIS IS A REAL MUSCLE CHALLENGE! ARRGHHHHH!
Adonis Avery Alexander: Of all the uncouth sounds I’m subjected to, the worst of them is hearing Gary Gear “powerlifting.”
Gear: COME ON, ONE MORE SET! THIS ONE’S THE KANTAR SET! I BEAT THIS, I BEAT HIM! DO THIS! NOW! GRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
AAA: You ninny, do you really think that super maxing your set the day of the event is going to do you any good?
Gear: YEAAAAAAAAAH! GO CHEW ON THAT!
Gary Gear slams down his barbell, the hefty load of plates on each side dropping with a resounding crash, and then gingerly removes a set of airpods from his ears, carefully placing them in a carry case before looking over at an especially exasperated Alexander.
Gear: Yeah?
AAA: Do---you---have---any idea just how obnoxious that is to listen to?
Gear: Nah, I mean, it’s not like I’m…
AAA: And you’re fighting tonight! You do a supermax set on the day you fight! What an incredible fool!
Gear: Dude, I do that every day when I have a match!
AAA: That…explains a lot, really.
Gear: So you got Smiley now?
AAA: Unfortunately. And he is a builder, so this is no mean challenge. But I will rise to the occasion and demonstrate why Adonis Avery Alexander stands at the pinnacle of human potential.
Gear: Yeah, yeah, blah, blah, I’m gonna max out past my max and smash a giant!
AAA: And I’m doing what you can’t and beat this guy.
Gear: That’s cool.
AAA: Whatever.
--- Post show Muscle Machines Adonis Avery Alexander: I showed you, I defeated that smiling imbecile. And I did it with ease.
Gary Gear: And I beat the brakes off Kantar!
AAA: Argent.
Gear: Wait, that wasn't Kantar?
AAA: No.
Gear: Ok, I beat the brakes off Argent! Fear Gary Gear! YEEAAAAH!
AAA: But you can't beat the people I beat.
Gear: I beat the people I beat!
AAA: But again, you lack the ability to defeat more impressive opposition. I do not. I am clearly the superior athlete, not just of us two, but in the entire Proving Ground. Now it's time for me to move up and challenge the upper echelon. I know that management knows this. I'm ready. I was born ready. But now nobody can say that I am anything but ready to take my rightful spot on the roster.
Gear: I won! My own match! Tonight! That's all I care about! I went out there and did damage! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!
AAA: Whatever...

One hell of a show this week... everyone seemed to be pulling out all the stops, aiming to show that they were at their best, and in a lot of cases, they clearly were. Let's take a look at how it all went down. Twitch highlight issues this week, I'll try again at some point probably but for the time being I'm so annoyed with it that at the moment, it's Youtube-only. Twitch VOD finally went up... it only took a few extra days of screwing around with it to get it to work... Twitch Part 1: www.twitch.tv/videos/387988362Twitch Part 2: www.twitch.tv/videos/387988361Youtube: youtu.be/mRv1qqrPzoU(Twitch VOD was split into two as an experiment to see if the thing would actually finish processing this time... it did, so that's how it'll stay this week.) Quick Results Veronika Armstrong def. Felice Santana Mascara Avispa def. Kevin Royce The Excellent Blades def. Winter Fresh Todd Colton def. Kyle Anderson Avery Adonis Alexander def. Rey de la Carne Vincent Sheridan def. Ruthless Nicole Alger Gary Gear def. Argent Candace Monroe def. Zack Sheridan Victor Kintelas and Kellaron Sentarl def. The Avian Assassins Listalva Anne Heyward def. Layla Al-Amin Pure Gold def. Team Proving Ground to retain the Proving Ground Tag Team Championship Write-ups Veronika definitely got back on track this week... poor Felice got taken apart pretty thoroughly here, and ate a Mercykiller for the victory. Veronika might be Evergreen's conquering heroine, but make no mistake, she won't hesitate to take out anyone in her path. Mascara Avispa might be on his way up to Showdown full-time, but his last Proving Ground match didn't disappoint on the way out... taking Kevin Royce to the limit, and finally, locking the Evergreen owner in La Avispa, scoring a huge victory on his way to the main roster! Truly incredible by both men here, Kevin refusing to go quietly in the end. The return of the Excellent Blades was a wild one. Nicole and Donna were kept guessing all the while by Winter Fresh, but tenacity was the order of the day... while Rin and Fresh refused to stay down, Nicole would eventually land a ring-shaking spear on Rin that sealed the win, keeping the Winter Kunoichi down and out after a marathon of a matchup. What was supposed to be a new beginning for Kyle Anderson became a troubling situation right away... Todd Colton came roaring out of the gates, dismantling Kyle's arms with a focus that's never really been Todd's forte in the past. He'd ultimately force the tapout while Natasha looked on, and it seems like Phoenix Rising has itself quite the power couple... Where Gear couldn't handle Rey de la Carne, AAA stepped up and showed him how it's done. Avery Adonis Alexander stuffed every last one of Rey's usual spots en route to a huge victory, one that certainly goes a long way towards helping the Muscle Machines' reputation. Vincent Sheridan was utterly relentless. He never seemed to let RNA get much work in, always turning the tide in short order, and finally managed to put her away with his signature Superstar Elbow, continuing the frustrations of the Limbtakers... Vincent escapes retribution once again. Argent did his best to keep Gear down, but this was a stunningly motivated Gary Gear. He set the pace early, breaking out his signature bombs early on, and while Argent would try to catch up late in the match, Gear had done his damage, and kept Argent down with one last big bomb, leaving the Muscle Machines a perfect 2-0 on the night. Candace Monroe finally got some measure of revenge. She absolutely dismantled Zack Sheridan, bringing her dangerous legwork to bear and nearly getting a submission victory... but she'd settle for her signature Gotch-style piledriver instead, planting Zack firmly down and picking up a much-needed victory. Still, it feels as though this feud is far from over. A strong showing from the Avian Assassins, but the duo fell short against Victor and Kellaron, despite Silver Hawk valiantly fighting off Victor's King Cobra Hold every time he went for it... but he couldn't stop Kellaron's Omoplata Crossface, and was forced to submit. Listalva Anne Heyward appears to have found her old attitude once more. She came into this match like she owned the ring... and damn sure showed Layla that she meant it, too, taking everything the Cairo Cyclone could dish out until showing the ultimate disrespect... stealing Layla's Super Rana finisher, and beating the Inspire Champion with it! It was a night of chaos... the Proving Ground Tag Team Champions were perhaps in more danger of their reign ending than ever before, with Elly Blackwood and Hugo Dirksen threatening to destroy the arms of both members of Pure Gold. Indeed, by the end of the match, both Mallory and Kanjirin were having trouble keeping their arms up, wincing with every move... but it became a battle of attrition, and Kanjirin was not going to be denied tonight, landing a crushing Jackhammer on Elly in his own corner, and after a tough, hard-fought match, Pure Gold once again retained the titles... setting them on a collision course with the one team they'd been trying to avoid all this time. Pure Gold Both Mallory and Kanjirin have ice packs around their arms, neither wanting to lift them up very high... after the match they've had, it's no wonder. "Try as you might... there's nothing... NOTHING, you could do... to stop us." Mallory's tone is purely defiant... triumphant despite the pain. "I thought, finally, after all this time, you might have improved enough to take us down... that you might finally be worthy of dethroning the most dominant champions in this company's history. But you still fell short. You still couldn't manage it. Even when I couldn't lift my arms anymore... you couldn't finish the job. And that's why we're still the champions. Still the best. Still unbeatable."
"Next Proving Ground... it's finally time for you two to get your turn." Kanjirin speaks up, yet he speaks quietly, almost with an underlying threat. "Victor... Kellaron. The two that turned their backs on us. That walked away... because they could never match who we were. But now you think you've got what it takes to be the team that finally sends us off. You've been waiting for this day... and you're finally gonna get it. But you won't like how it all turns out in the end. This won't have the happy ending you're looking for. We will still be Proving Ground Tag Team Champions... and you will be reminded of what you lost." Candace Monroe "I'm not done with this yet. I'm not willing to call it quits. You see what happened out there to Zack? I took him apart. Ruined his day. And the next time I get either of you in that ring, the same thing's gonna happen, because I am not gonna let the two of you walk all over us! So I don't care where, when, or how we meet again... but you better believe I will be looking for one more match with the Sheridan Brothers versus the Limbtakers, because we're not done. Vincent... you're still gonna answer for what you did. Don't ever forget that." Listalva Anne Heyward "Caught ya' by surprise, didn't I? Forgot I could match ya', forgot that I'm every bit as agile and flexible as you, Layla. Fact is, you've been a hell of a champion... everything the Inspire Champion ought t' be. But it's time that title came back home... where it belongs. Around my waist. It's as simple as that... we'll meet again, with your title on the line... and Queen Anne will be takin' back her throne. The reign of the Cairo Cyclone ends in two weeks. Say your goodbyes." Evergreen this Thursday, at the usual time. Card below: Payaso Terrible vs. Mystery Opponent

Evergreen's wrapped in its normal brisk fashion. The first round of the tag tournament has been finished, and four teams now remain vying for the inaugural Tag Team Championships. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/388397785Youtube: youtu.be/h19lCTuZFgcQuick Results FENIX OSCURO def. Payaso Terrible The Bingo Hall Mutants def. El Verde Rebecca Andrews and Sayaka Saito def. The Sheridan Brothers Kantar def. Stu the Blue Kevin Royce and Mercy Devine def. Babe Ruthless and Lash Laenara Kintelas and Ash Defiant def. eMo Julian Shepard def. Veronika Armstrong Write-ups Well, I don't think anyone saw THIS coming. Fenix Oscuro made her return not in Phoenix Rising, but in Evergreen... and although Payaso Terrible was able to make the Dark Phoenix bleed, Oscuro only seemed to get angry as it happened, putting Payaso away with a vicious powerbomb. What does this mean for Oscuro's future? El Verde tried what they could to stop the Mutants, but this was a mismatch, and unfortunately, it showed. It didn't help that Verde's attention was firmly on Rampage Rage, even as Skullface Killah put Evergringo away... exactly one of the issues that Verde's blamed Evergringo for in the past. Vindication, perhaps, in a few ways: Rebecca and Sayaka finally pick up a proper victory, moving on in the tournament, and the Sheridan Brothers get their egos brought down to earth a little, which the Limbtakers will no doubt be pleased by. A strong showing here by both teams, though. Kantar's mood only seemed to get worse the longer this match went. Stu was determined to keep his multitude of kicks in play, and made good use of them... and then, Kantar landed another signature of his, went for the pin... and Stu kicked out. Perhaps purely out of frustration, Stu then ate a Triple Powerbomb that appeared to knock him out cold, Kantar picking up a major victory over another outsider. Kantar wasn't the only one responsible for taking someone out tonight: Kevin Royce, clearly still holding some sort of unexplained grudge with Blackrose, took the fight to Babe Ruthless and Lash alongside Mercy Devine. A massive chokebomb to Babe, however, laid her out for good. Mercy could be heard in the back yelling at Kevin... presumably over the constant disrespect to the fed that she calls her second home. Laenara Kintelas completes a trifecta of crushing victories. Eddy Introspect spent a lot of this match staring at the action that had spilled outside... while Laenara and Ash Defiant double-teamed Strawberry Sookie. Eddy didn't do a thing to help out until Laenara re-entered the ring... but it wasn't much longer after that, that Laenara landed a Kintelas Driver on Sookie, and a third star went down hurt... all three of them outsiders. Did Kevin tell his people to do this? Or were these all freak accidents? Nobody can be sure. Likely the best match of the night here, the main event saw Julian Shepard taking on the Evergreen Champion. Veronika surprisingly had trouble putting this one away... Julian kicked out of two Mercykillers, and simply refused to stay down, eventually landing a huge gutbuster and taking the fight out of Veronika, giving him a stunning upset victory over the champion. He'll challenge for the Evergreen Championship on episode 7... the same night the Tag Team Championships are to be determined in the tournament finals. Kevin Royce and Mercy Devine "EVERY TIME! I should've never taken this shot, I knew damn well what was going through your mind the whole time, you set the brackets up specifically so you'd get that opportunity!" Mercy, despite being over a full foot shorter than Kevin, is still right up in his face... by virtue of having a handful of the big man's shirt. "You couldn't do what you were supposed to do as a referee, and now all of a sudden you can't even show even the SLIGHTEST respect to a company I've been working for just as much as you! Give me one good fucking reason I should go out there with you again, you piece of shit, ONE GOOD REASON!"
"Same reason I gave you when this began. The titles." Kevin seems almost unfazed, despite Mercy yelling right in his face. "You agreed to this because of the titles."
"FUCK the titles." Mercy snarls, shoving him away. "You'll be lucky if I even bother to show up next time. You've got two weeks to get your shit together."
"You -do- remember who we're facing next round, right?" Kevin arches a brow. "I thought you'd be all over getting a shot at Rebecca and Sayaka."
"To hell with 'em." Mercy whirls back around on Kevin. "The only one that matters is Veronika. And she went down in flames tonight. Just like she deserves. Turns out Julian can get the job done better than you ever could."
"You're the one that couldn't beat her, Mercy."
"FUCK OFF!" Mercy roars, and before Kevin knows it, she's gotten her brass knuckles on... and clocked him across the jaw, sending the big man to the floor. "You stay the FUCK out of my way, Kevin, or I'll do something a whole hell of a lot worse than that!" She storms off, leaving Kevin stumbling back to his feet.

Showdown coming up this Monday, finally deciding who will come home with the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships. World Champion Black Dragon, fresh off of adding another world championship to her hoard, now comes home to face another tough challenge... and the roster reels from the revelation of Thursday's Evergreen opener. Pre-Show: Nic Nitro vs. Natasha Clover
Pre-Show: Haruka Matsura vs. Rachel White
Pre-Show: Tommy Thunder vs. Todd Colton
Pre-Show: Sophia Moretti vs. Alexandria Kirison
Yuki Maeda vs. Besos
The Rising Storm vs. The Demons
Shiana Sentarl vs. Angel Leblanc
Blake Dynamite vs. Telan Kintelas
Cassandra Marshall vs. Laenara Kintelas
The Black Dragon vs. Lance Marshall
Kaelara Sentarl vs. Eri Sentarl
Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright vs. Firehawk Sentarl and Rilantha De Nav for the Phoenix Rising Tag Team ChampionshipsThe opener this week sees the continuation of the Adrenaline Rush debut from last episode, as Todd Colton and Natasha Clover split up to take on their members separately. Natasha opens things up against Nic Nitro, already having pinned Nitro in their first matchup... can Nitro bounce back and score a win over the Devil Hand one-on-one? After last week's disappointing match between these two, likely due to a miscommunication, it was decided that they'd face off in a rematch this week. Haruka looked strong before the match went sideways... can she keep that going? Todd Colton and Tommy Thunder weren't involved in last week's decision in their tag match... so they'll get an opportunity here to show what they're capable of on their own. No doubt it'll be a strong showcase of Thunder's ability, against Todd, who is still only part-time on the main roster... Sophia Moretti has seen her fair share of struggles, but it appears that she's finally begun to turn things around... still, against the former Women's Champion, Alexandria Kirison, it's not going to be easy to keep that momentum going. Alex, no matter how much she might appear to be in trouble, is always a threat... Sophia will need to keep herself sharp. Yuki Maeda's debut was beyond impressive. Stepping into the ring with Laenara Kintelas, she'd force the young star to tap out to her signature Nagata Lock... and now, her sights are set on Besos for her second Phoenix Rising matchup. But is this old veteran ready for what Besos is known for? She's certainly unlike any opponent Yuki's ever faced before... After their defeat last week, the Rising Storm and the Demons are at odds once again. Anahera and Xiu Mei Li are more than willing to step into the ring across from their partners from last week's eight-man tag match... but Tasharun and Kantar are dangerous opponents on any day, and Kantar is fresh off of destroying PEWA star Stu the Blue, as well. Is this really such a good idea? Shiana Sentarl finally has the rematch she's been after all this time. Angel Leblanc, sporting a new look, an even cockier attitude, has been avoiding this match since it became clear Shiana wanted it... but there's no escaping it now, and the Monaco native isn't backing down, to her credit. She's also declared that she'll take this match on by herself... with no support from the other Blondes. Will she come to regret that decision? Another chapter in the unusual rivalry between Blake and Telan... which, oddly enough, now stands at a win apiece. There's little to say that hasn't already been said... at least you can be sure they've never been the same person, right? Cassandra Marshall has been on the warpath these past few months. With malicious rumors flying over her head, she's not hesitated to take the fight to anyone that dares step into the ring with her... and while she lost to Eri Sentarl last week, she seems primed for a comeback against Laenara Kintelas. This match came about for one reason: a massive argument broke out after Cassandra's match last week, and harsh words were spoken... not to mention fists, over Lance laying Urani Whitemist out with a Cattle Drive... and after a crack regarding the above-mentioned rumors, Cassandra lashed out. Meanwhile, the other subject of said rumors, Lance Marshall, prepares to take on the Black Dragon... the World Champion, the one holding the title Lance lost all those months ago to Urani Whitemist. Could this be the start of Lance's return to form, or is the Dragon simply too strong for even the Texan to lay low? As easy-going as the Sentarl sisters are, they're still quite competitive with each other... they get along well enough, but Eri's been antsy about taking her shot at Kaelara, and that match finally happens this week. Eri has yet to hold any gold in Phoenix Rising, but she could very easily start herself on the path to changing that with a win here... though if nothing else, she's sure to keep her younger sister sharp ahead of her fateful battle in AAW. This is it, the match that these teams have been waiting for... another big rematch, Kileas and Winifred once again setting their sights on Firehawk and Rilantha. It's a huge matchup, as always, the rivalry refusing to die. The champions managed to get through the 8-man tag to reach this match... but they have to overcome one final test, a team they've already beaten... but with the way Winifred Wright has looked in recent weeks, could it finally be the day that Kileas and Winifred take their place at the top of the division? Yuki Maeda "Understand one thing... I'll be watching everything very closely tonight. Watching, waiting, seeing what the future of this women's division is... and whether my old rival, Shiana, can still match what I remember. I saw your match with Elise Pichon. With Michelle Rochefort. Saw the fire in your eyes that I haven't seen since you were young. But that spirit isn't enough... if your body can't keep up with it. Regardless... of whether you defeat this Angel Leblanc or not, we will be meeting again soon, Shiana... so you had best be ready for it. Remember your past... and remember that you could never stand up to me for long." The Black Dragon "So now they're sending Lance my way. Need I remind you, Lance, that while Laenara is Urani's girlfriend... she's also one of my only friends in the world right now, too. And I fully intend to make you pay for what you did, while Laenara beats the hell out of your sister. I don't believe a damn bit of the stupid rumors people are spreading. I don't even want to use them against you like she did. All I need to do is break you in half... and I'll damn well do that. Because I'm a World Champion in two different companies. Because I'm the best in the fucking WORLD right now. It took a giant to even slow me down... so what the hell chance do you think you've got?"

Tonight's show was absolutely bonkers. Nothing disappointed... and it's set the stage for March to perhaps be one of the most groundbreaking months yet. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/390611359Youtube: youtu.be/6JUunDOJxRwQuick Results Natasha Clover def. Nic Nitro Haruka Matsura vs. Rachel White didn't happen... Rachel was instead replaced by FENIX OSCURO Fenix Oscuro def. Haruka Matsura Todd Colton def. Tommy Thunder Alexandria Kirison def. Sophia Moretti Besos def. Yuki Maeda The Demons def. The Rising Storm Shiana Sentarl def. Angel Leblanc Telan Kintelas def. Blake Dynamite Cassandra Marshall def. Laenara Kintelas Lance Marshall def. The Black Dragon Kaelara Sentarl def. Eri Sentarl Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright def. Firehawk Sentarl and Rilantha De Nav to become the NEW Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions! Write-ups Rough showing for Nic Nitro, although he hung in there against an absolutely relentless Natasha Clover. The Devil Hand would not be denied, finally landing a thunderous standing spear to pick up another win over one-half of Adrenaline Rush. This was supposed to be Rachel White. But when her music played, nobody came out... confusing the crowd, the people in the ring, and certainly confused Haruka, who was prepared for a rematch from two weeks ago. We'd later find out that Rachel was attacked in the locker room, laid out... almost certainly by the woman who would replace her in the match, Fenix Oscuro. Oscuro had a lot to say after this match, which Haruka tried her hardest to hold out in... but Oscuro proved too strong tonight, and once again, the Dark Phoenix conquered, like so many times before. One of the best matches of the night, which is stunning given Todd's old reputation... but Todd Colton has been a different man since his match with Natasha Clover at New Year's Bash, and he's absolutely been a threat. This match proved just how good Todd could really be... while Thunder did what he could, it was Todd who scored another major win with his signature Binding Suplex. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that Alexandria Kirison is one of the best in the women's division, and one of the most aggressive people, male or female in all of Phoenix Rising. That was on display here, as while Sophia's technical prowess kept her competitive, Alex was just too vicious tonight, and came away with a huge victory to ensure that she's still in the running for one of the best in the division. The big question going into this match was whether Yuki was prepared for Besos. For a while, it seemed like she was... the problem was that Besos hadn't fully brought her normal offense to bear. Slowly but surely, Besos began to take control, hitting bigger and bigger moves... and then, she closed in for the kill... or the kiss, rather. Caught entirely by surprise, perhaps nobody warned Yuki what she was dealing with, and Besos came away with a stunning upset victory. Tough matchup here for the Rising Storm... already falling short in the 8-man tag last Showdown, they set their sights on the team they'd partnered with in that match... and just couldn't get everything to fall together. The Demons eventually overpowered the Rising Storm, and Anahera, showing an unusual lapse in judgment, was a step too slow to make a final save that cost them the match. Shiana Sentarl had been waiting for this match for over a month... and nothing was going to stand in her way. Angel Leblanc simply never got a proper foothold here... Shiana worked her over, and came roaring out with her signature Superkick... but it was her famous Romero Special that put this one to rest, giving Shiana a victory over all three members of Les Beautes Blondes in three straight episodes. Yet another matchup between these sometimes-rivals... and this time, it was Telan that took the upper hand and put Blake away, pulling ahead in their small series 2-1 after landing a crushing powerbomb. Still, Blake didn't go quietly... but he'll need to figure out a bit more to take this rivalry back in his favor. Cassandra Marshall gained a measure of revenge for Laenara Kintelas's words two weeks ago... the brash young woman's taunts fueling Cassandra as she took the fight straight to Laenara and didn't let up. A huge spear put this one away, nearly breaking Laenara in half, and Cassandra walked away with her head held high... another big win for the cowgirl. Another week, another Black Dragon war. This was nowhere near the bloodbath her match with Binak was, but it was definitely just as vicious... Lance threw nearly everything he had at the World Champion, and got everything Dragon had in turn, save her familiar submissions. It was a submission that'd finish this off, though, Lance locking Dragon in the Texas Cloverleaf. Whether Dragon really tapped out or not, though (it was difficult to tell), head referee Emma Travers called for the bell... Emma's not the type to screw a competitor, so management is trusting her judgment for now. Eri might be the older sister, but this felt like Kaelara Sentarl schooling her. There was no doubt that the Women's Champion had her older sister's number tonight, and she landed all of her major moves before putting Eri away not with anything big... but with a quick, snapping roll-up. The two hugged after the match, and left the ring with Eri showing respect to her little sister, the woman who's been nothing short of one of the best competitors in all of Phoenix Rising these past couple of months, male or female. This was the matchup Kileas and Winifred had been waiting for. Earning the right to challenge for the titles after winning the 8-man tag, the challengers seemed to have a much more thorough gameplan than previous attempts at taking the titles... and it showed. Firehawk and Ril were on the back foot for a lot of this one, and Winifred was once again a one-woman wrecking crew, standing toe-to-toe with both Firehawk and Rilantha, culminating in landing her famous Bridge of Perfection on Ril dead-center in the ring... and while Firehawk sought to make the save, Kileas surged forward, blocking him from breaking up the pinfall, and ensuring the three-count. We have NEW Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions, after a five-month reign by Firehawk and Ril... now, Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright have finally claimed their place. The Black Dragon Dragon appears to have cornered Emma Travers after the show... a few of the other members of the roster surrounding the two, trying to keep Dragon from blowing her top. "You know damn well I didn't tap out to that hold, you know exactly what happened out there!"
"I won't have you insulting my job as a referee, Dragon!" Emma raises her voice, a surprise given the usually easy-going referee and part-time wrestler. "Yes, you didn't tap out but you were in no condition to keep going by that point in the match! I made a decision both as a referee and a medic, you were done!"
"I'M NOT DONE UNTIL I DAMN WELL SAY I'M DONE, YOU HEAR ME!?" Dragon roars, but finally gets pulled away by the crowd around her, leaving Emma to slump down against the wall, catching her breath with a deep sigh. What happened to Rachel? Shortly after the match between Haruka and Oscuro, the cameras move backstage to show just what happened to Rachel... laid out in one of the locker rooms. Oscuro returns to that room, standing over the unconscious redhead, and staring directly into the camera.
"When I first reappeared this past Thursday... standing opposite of Payaso Terrible... you must have thought it strange. Two months, I've been away, two months since that cage match, so why did I suddenly return... in Evergreen?
Make no mistake... I sent a message to Payaso, and I sent a message to Phoenix Rising by making my return on that night. Leaving her broken, beaten, not out of any loyalty to Kevin Royce... but to remind you all of just who I am.
Payaso Terrible has learned her lesson. Rachel White learned hers before the match tonight, when I beat her into unconsciousness in this locker room. Haruka Matsura learned as I took her so-called "new beginning" apart. Three women left broken in my wake... because you all need to remember.
Most of all... Eri Sentarl, you need to remember just what you're dealing with. You declared victory. Walked out of that cage under your own strength, satisfied that you'd finally won, that you'd finally be free. You put everything you had on the line and came away victorious... a conquering hero, some might say. But everyone ignored just what happened in that cage. How vicious, how brutal it really was. The ferocity and hatred behind every last one of your blows... including the last kick that only made matters worse. I did not walk out of that cage on my own... but nobody noticed, and nobody cared, because I am, in their eyes... the villain. It doesn't matter that I'd suffered a concussion, perhaps more than one, it mattered that their wonderful hero had won the day.
It's taken me two months to properly recover, nearly sixty days to return back to my full self. It makes me sick, really... it took only that long for everyone to forget. But you'll all learn very quickly, once again... Eri, this is far from over. I won't hesitate to remind you of what you've done. You're still the same cold-hearted, selfish bitch you've always been... and I will make you pay for it. You escaped once... you won't do it again. I'll break your spirit, I'll tear you down... and the Little Phoenix will become the Fallen Phoenix, when all is said and done."

Dragon vs. Lance was one of the best matches of the year, just an all out hoss fest that exceeded what were already high expectations. I am eagerly awaiting their rematch.
Colton vs. Thunder would have been match of the night on most evenings, Tommy Thunder may not have had what it took to win, but he certainly had enough toughness to last longer than most would have under Todd's focused attack.
