We've narrowed the field down to just eight, now. One more night of tournament action to go, before we discover who gets a shot at the World Championship at the end of the Grand Ascension next month. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/744426791Youtube: youtu.be/BEOfP6qNkNoQuick Results Mercedes Ortega def. Concrete Pete Jackson Shaw def. Kasey Ryder Mercy Devine def. Lexi Dawson Firehawk Sentarl def. Maya Minh Sai Riccardo De Luca def. Todd Colton Freya O'Malley def. Kantar (!) Elly Blackwood def. Mallory Spaulding Nathan Haines def. Urani Whitemist Write-ups Mercedes Ortega has looked like an entirely different woman in the tournament here. From struggling to put the pieces together on Proving Ground, to suddenly starting to get victories, and now... she looks like an absolute star. She weathered the attack by Concrete Pete, and in a show of impressive strength (reckless, to say the least), she hit a huge slam to pick up another win and make it to the quarterfinal. Kasey's time in the tournament was short, but we saw some serious flashes of greatness out of the young star, both in her win over Ryan Donovan and her loss here to Jackson Shaw, who once again looks like the man to beat. She gave him as much of a fight as she could muster, but came up short and tapped out to the Stretch Plum, in the end. Some would say Lexi wasn't ready for this match. But she certainly didn't look entirely outmatched, even when Mercy got violent as she always does. Lexi tried to stay in control, but eventually, the combination of being bloodied and trapped in Mercy's Pit of Darkness hold, the end was inevitable. Maya Minh Sai could be a future star in the making. She may not have won this match, but she made Firehawk Sentarl work for every single inch, trying to force a submission with the Lotus Lock, even no-selling a Phoenix Dive before she fell victim to the Sharpshooter. Firehawk gets through, but Maya's the story of this match, without a doubt. Riccardo De Luca is a prodigy. There's simply no other way to describe this man, a wizard between the ropes, easily the most agile and fast-paced wrestler that Phoenix Rising has ever laid eyes on. But Todd Colton is also one of the best around, make no mistake, and for nearly thirty minutes, these two went to war, both trying to finish the other in their own way. Riccardo, though, eventually dished out Rolling Thunder, followed by a standing corkscrew moonsault to pick up one of the wildest wins of the night. Giant-killer. What other name can you give Freya O'Malley at this point? Three times, she's been put in the ring with absolute titans, towering over her in stature, and three times, she's walked away with the victory, standing tall over the likes of Laura Tate, Lance Marshall, and now even Kantar. Her combination of hard-nosed brawling and incredible agility has been put to the test, and she has passed with flying colors time and time again. Freya O'Malley may be the favorite to win it all. Elly's matches as of late have followed a similar formula: take one hell of a beating, only to come away with the win in the end. She absorbed a tremendous amount of punishment from Mallory's suplexes and backdrops, but simply would not give in... and she'd eventually snap off a brainbuster to pick up the win. But how long can she keep up this strategy? Even for the Invincible... it has to take its toll. The Titan wound up falling just short of putting away Nathan Haines, despite being in control firmly for the first half of the match. But Nathan came roaring back, and eventually landed a crushing Axe Bomber to bring down the former World Champion, and guaranteeing that whoever wins this tournament will be someone who's never held the World Championship before... Freya O'Malley "See, I know there's usually not much chance for people to speak up after these tournament shows, but I'll be damned if I'm not gonna get up here and get a chance to say at least a few words. I've had three tournament matches and every single one of 'em has been against someone bigger and stronger than I am. But that's all they got going for 'em. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. The stronger they are, the harder I hit. And you can be the meanest son of a bitch in the whole country, but when you step into the ring with Freya O'Malley, you're staring down someone who's willing to put anything and everything on the line to win, at any cost. And knowing what the prize is at the end of the road here? A shot at the World Championship, a chance to step into the ring with Laenara Kintelas? Oh, you better believe I want a piece of that. You could put anyone, anyone in front of me right now, and I'd give them the fight of their life. So when the dust settles on Saturday and you lay eyes on the tournament champion, you're gonna be looking at Freya O'Malley. The Giant-Killer. The best of the best. You're looking at the next World Champion... I'll win this tournament, I'll walk into Phoenix Rising, and on my first night I'm gonna walk away with the biggest prize imaginable. Mercedes Ortega... you don't got a chance in hell of taking me down. You don't have the killer instinct that it takes to fight someone like me. But you better not disappoint me."

Saturday brings us the tournament finals, and it's gonna be a wild night as we find out who stands tall at the end of the road. Nathan Haines (Wyoming) vs. Riccardo De Luca (New Hampshire)Mercy Devine (Hawaii) vs. Elly Blackwood (Missouri)Firehawk Sentarl (Washington) vs. Jackson Shaw (Tennessee)Mercedes Ortega (Connecticut) vs. Freya O'Malley (Vermont)Terra Marshall vs. Mallory Spaulding Semifinal Match #1 (Winner of Mercedes/Freya vs. Winner of Nathan/Riccardo)Semifinal Match #2 (Winner of Mercy/Elly vs. Winner of Firehawk/Jackson)Mason Hayes vs. Concrete Pete
Carmen Latour vs. Maya Minh Sai vs. Riley Montgomery vs. Lily LyonsTournament FinalKicking off the quarterfinals, we have the man who's been the most dynamic competitor we've seen in a very long time, in Riccardo De Luca, who's torn through the bracket with no signs of slowing down. But he has yet to take on a true powerhouse, and that's what he'll get as he steps into the ring with Nathan Haines, who looks ready to drop the brash young high-flyer, and make his way into the semifinal.
Mercy Devine may not be the most unlikely of our quarterfinalists here, but it's still wild to see the Evergreen boss get this far, even with her usual brand of violence coming into play. Still, she's got to face her fellow Evergreen member in Elly Blackwood... and this one may get real ugly before the end.
Jackson Shaw has been nothing short of a beast from the moment this tournament started, but even he's got to wonder about his chances in this match. Firehawk Sentarl has a very good chance of taking this whole tournament if given half a chance, and if Jackson wants to get through, he'll need to keep showing off the ferocity that he's had throughout his matches thus far.
Closing out the quarterfinals, we've got Freya O'Malley looking to keep up a truly dominant run. But it's no giant that she finds herself against this time, but Mercedes Ortega, who's beaten the odds to get this far... but Freya, having taken down Laura Tate, Lance Marshall, and Kantar on her way to this match, could very well be truly unbeatable at this point.
A buffer between the quarterfinal and semifinal matches, we're getting a second look at the awe-inspiring Terra Marshall, who absolutely obliterated Riley Montgomery in her debut last week. This time, she's got an opponent more than equal to her size and strength in Mallory Spaulding, who clearly isn't afraid of a proper fight with the young Texan.
The semifinals are going to be wild... there's simply no doubt about that. It's impossible to say who's going to stand tall here and go to the final, but both matches here will be hard-fought, there's no doubt about that.
It's a battle of the big boys, a match we've been anticipating from the moment we first saw Mason Hayes. He was bound to meet Concrete Pete in the ring sooner or later, and it's almost a guarantee that this is gonna be a flat-out brawl to the finish between two men who are fully willing to throw their weight around.
We'll add one more extra match before the final, seeing four of the most impressive women from the tournament squaring off to see who really is the best of the four. It's entirely possible that all four of these women find their way into the Phoenix Rising organization full-time after the tournament, among plenty of others throughout the bracket, though with such a large roster by now, we'll have to see what ends up happening.
Finally, we reach the tournament finals, with the prize waiting for the winner at the end: a World Championship match against Laenara Kintelas, to be held on the final night of next month's Grand Ascension. Who will it be? Do they have a shot at dethroning the champion? Saturday's going to answer plenty of questions, only to open more... it's going to be a wild ride.

The dust has settled. We have our champion, we have the person that'll take on the World Champion on the final night of the Grand Ascension. Fifty wrestlers entered, forty-nine fell short... one stands tall. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/746579614Youtube: youtu.be/TyyyqQT7t2YFinal Bracket: challonge.com/efnwhjxs
Quick Results Riccardo De Luca def. Nathan Haines Elly Blackwood def. Mercy Devine Firehawk Sentarl def. Jackson Shaw Freya O'Malley def. Mercedes Ortega Terra Marshall def. Mallory Spaulding Freya O'Malley def. Riccardo De Luca Elly Blackwood def. Firehawk Sentarl Mason Hayes def. Concrete Pete Carmen Latour def. Riley Montgomery, Lily Lyons, and Maya Minh Sai Freya O'Malley def. Elly Blackwood to win the 50-State tournament! Write-ups The night started off hot. Riccardo De Luca once again proved his superior agility, taking Nathan Haines to the absolute limit... and then, pushed right past that, enduring the big man's Hijack Backbreakers and brutal powerbombs, snapping him up in a flash rollup to steal the victory and a spot in the semifinals. What else could this match be besides an all-out, hardcore-style brawl? Who cares that the rules were actually being enforced here... Mercy and Elly sure didn't care, breaking light tubes, swinging weapons at will, and Mercy relying on her vicious fork to open up a nasty cut on Elly's forehead. Elly, though, simply would not let Mercy finish the job... and she eventually forced the Evergreen boss to relent, using another of her armbars to score a big win. Jackson Shaw was damn good in this tournament... with some of the biggest wins. But he wasn't quite ready for the boss of Phoenix Rising, who was at his best here, eventually nailing a brainbuster to put Shaw down and end his impressive run in the quarterfinals. Firehawk, though, would then have to stare down Elly Blackwood... Freya O'Malley didn't even blink. She clearly thought little of Mercedes Ortega here, and showed it very clearly, dismantling the woman who'd seemingly turned things around in the tournament... and a brutal chairshot absolutely leveled Mercedes, followed up by a Capture suplex, and Freya's impressively high standing moonsault. The Irish-American out of Dorset, Vermont, swept her way into the semifinals in dominant fashion. Terra Marshall might be young and raw, but make no mistake, she's tough. You have to be, though, to take on Mallory Spaulding, and Terra took to the fight like an old hand. A series of lariats, though, would be the deciding blow... Terra's specialty, it seems, culminating in a diving lariat off the top rope to finish the job and seal the win. Freya didn't have to have her semifinal match first. She could've waited until after Firehawk vs. Elly. But she practically seemed to insist on going right back out there with much less time to rest than Riccardo got... although, to be fair, Freya's quarterfinal match was much, much faster. You wouldn't even believe it, though, that Freya had already been in a match once tonight already, as she went right after Riccardo... though the New Hampshire native didn't make things easy for her. Still, we've learned one thing about Freya... once she gets an idea in her head, nothing else matters. If she's decided she's going to win it all, she'll make it happen by any means necessary... and that meant grabbing that chair again, delivering a thunderous blow to Riccardo, and scoring a victory to get herself into the final. This was easily the biggest war of the night. Two of the best that the Phoenix Rising organization has to offer... the best, perhaps, of their respective brands to never hold their respective top titles. And for a solid 25 minutes, they went out there and proved it beyond any doubt. Elly Blackwood once again cemented her place as Evergreen's Invincible monster, simply refusing to go down even after Firehawk had broken out everything in his arsenal... but Firehawk was equally resilient, refusing to quit even when Elly had practically obliterated his arms. But that would be his downfall, as eventually, the damage would become too much, and Elly would finally manage to get the submission, and set herself up in the final with a giant-killer... We got a bit of a breather before the finals, with the big boys coming out to play... Mason Hayes and Concrete Pete, the biggest men in the tournament (at least in sheer bulk), went into a wild brawl for twenty solid minutes of action, Pete biting open Mason without any hesitation... but Mason would finally get the victory, stomping Pete out before applying a brutal half-crab to score the win. For nearly 20 minutes of action, everyone in this 4-way contest seemed evenly matched. All four women were getting a chance to show what they had, each getting a moment to shine... and then, Riley Montgomery cranked Maya Minh Sai into a brutal Liontamer. Moments later, Carmen Latour took out Lily Lyons, and stared down Riley, brawling with her for a few moments before managing to set up a brilliant somersault kick off the top rope, and the Cajun Spitfire came out on top. When this all began, we knew very little about Freya O'Malley. She was an Irish-American, from a small town in Vermont. Small, but feisty to a fault. Her first match, an all-out fight with Riley Montgomery, set the stage for what we'd come to know her for... an intense competitor, insanely quick and agile, but strong and willing to brawl as well. A total package, perhaps? A takedown of Laura Tate in her first tournament match was a surprise. Her win over Lance Marshall, an upset. Her win over Kantar, unthinkable. All leading up to tonight. Freya O'Malley, ahead of this show, made one thing very clear: She was going to win this tournament. Whatever it took. Whoever she had to go through. And that's exactly what she did, standing face-to-face with the most dangerous, powerful woman in Evergreen Federation Wrestling history, and out-fighting her. Freya O'Malley started this tournament, almost a month ago, as an almost total unknown. She leaves it as tournament champion, with a reputation for violence and talent the likes of which we may never see again. She could land anywhere she wanted and instantly be a star... but next month, on the final night of the Grand Ascension, she will get her shot at becoming a megastar. Freya O'Malley has won the 50-State Tournament. And she's coming for the Phoenix Rising World Championship. Elly Blackwood
"There's not a lot I can say about tonight. I fought tooth and fucking nail to get through the quarterfinal, then the final. Mercy made me bleed. Firehawk made me fight. Am I blaming that on my loss to Freya? Hell no. On my best night, at 100%, Freya might've still done the same thing. That woman's an absolute beast in the ring... don't let her stature fool you. Her record speaks for itself. Four of her wins came against people with a proper size advantage over her. She wants to call herself Giant-Killer, and she's more than earned it.
Did I want to be the one standing tall at the end of the night? Of course I did. Hell, I wanted to take the Phoenix Rising World Championship back to Evergreen, show them exactly how things are done. But that's not the way things went, and I'm not gonna dwell on it. Freya, you've got the opportunity of a lifetime.
So go out there next month, and give Laenara Kintelas everything you've got. Because you just might come away with the World Championship around your waist... And I'll be there to congratulate you at the end of the road, if you can make it all the way." Freya O'Malley
"I meant what I said. When I make a promise, I keep it. I said I was gonna win the whole tournament, and that's exactly what I did. Mercedes... I know you're better than what you showed tonight. I know you can do more than that. And I want a rematch down the line when you've figured it out. Riccardo... you're a fuckin' wizard. You're as quick as anyone I've ever seen, and I wanna see where you take that down the line, 'cause I know they're already planning on signing you to the big show. And Elly... I know you don't wanna look for excuses, I know you don't wanna talk about why you lost at the very end. Look, I heard you talking earlier, about how on your best night I'd probably still win? I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. Thing is, just like Mercedes... I want to see that for myself. Hell, I want to keep going. I want to go around to as many shows, as many feds as I can, anyone that'll let me show up and fight. I want to test myself against the biggest, the baddest, the toughest and strongest. I want to feel my blood pumping in the heat of a brawl, I want to feel what I felt every single time I've stepped into that ring over the past few weeks.
I know Phoenix Rising isn't gonna bring me in on Monday on such short notice. But I'm asking you, anyone in your management that's listening, anyone that's got the authority, Firehawk himself, I don't care... I want to keep going. To Mercy Devine, and Evergreen Federation Wrestling... I want to keep going. I want to keep fighting, I want to push the limits of what I can do. And if that means I step across the ring from someone that kicks my ass up and down, that's fine. But I've learned one thing for sure out here.
I don't ever wanna stop doing this. And I'll go anywhere in the world to keep finding just how much I can do. You want me... just call me. Tell me when, tell me where, I will show up because it doesn't matter who... I'll fight.
This has been the most incredible experience of my life, and I'm gonna ride it as far as I can."

It's not really settling down all that much this week. I'm gonna play it by ear and see how I feel after Monday, regarding an Evergreen show this week, but I'll probably go forward with it, even if it winds up being a short one. For now, Proving Ground, episode 65. Hugo Dirksen vs. Golden Tiger
Titania vs. Calista Vargas
The Gallego Twins vs. HAYATO and SATOMI
Anna Bryant vs. Jessika Boom
Arthur Wright vs. Sanya Markov
The Yoshida Twins vs. The Excellent Blades
Freya O'Malley vs. Jackson Shaw
Leona Sterling vs. Fresh Suzuki
The Muscle Machines vs. La Familia for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships We're kicking off the night with a rare singles appearance from one-half of the Golden Tigers. Easily the most vicious of the Golden Ambush trio, Tiger has proven time and again that he's not a man that's someone you want to cross, but Hugo Dirksen seems more than prepared to take him on in this week's opener. Titania, despite preparing for the Grand Ascension, seems more than ready to take on the world... and she's almost insisted on having a match this week. Indeed, all four Proving Ground participants in next month's Grand Ascension are in action this week, and Titania looks ready to take Calista Vargas apart... but we've seen just how tough that really is. HAYATO steps into the ring alongside his sister to take on another brother/sister duo in the Gallego Twins... which means this match is guaranteed to be one of this week's highlights. Both these teams have been incredible together, but the Gallegos have maybe been one of the best around from day one... Anna Bryant's Proving Ground run continues as she seeks the top spot in the division. But she's gonna have to deal with the fast-paced Jessika Boom, and there's simply no telling how things may turn out when Jessika turns up the heat on her opponents... Sanya Markov is a proud man, and fully unwilling to sit on the sidelines in preparation for his appearance in the Grand Ascension. To that end, he'll take on Arthur Wright, who's looking to bounce back from a frustratingly early exit in the 50-State tournament... but against the powerful Russian, can he really hold out? Two of Proving Ground's finest teams square off, potentially to see who winds up next in line to challenge for the Proving Ground tag team championships. The Yoshida Twins remain one of the most dangerous teams around since coming here from the Academy, and the Excellent Blades have a perfect blend of power and technique between them... putting these two teams against each other will make for one hell of a match. Turned out Freya had a spot on the card for this show after all... she was very clear what she wanted as she travels through the Phoenix Rising feds, and she's going to get a bit of a surprise this week, as Jackson Shaw seems to be making his debut on Proving Ground, having been signed to a contract for the show. Can Freya continue to live up to her new moniker as a Giant-Killer? Or will Jackson be too much for the tournament champion? Fresh Suzuki, the last participant from Proving Ground in the Grand Ascension... and the current reigning Inspire Champion. Her last match before things get under way next month will be against Leona Sterling... who's been more than willing to show that the moment you let your guard down, she's the most dangerous woman around. A win here will set Leona up for a championship match... though she'll have to wait some time to get it, if that's the case. Capping off the night is a match that some imagined would never actually happen. But here we are: the Muscle Machines are going to challenge for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships. La Familia will have to stay on track, because from what we've seen of the Machines lately... they may have been a disaster back in Lightning Pro last Friday, but here on Proving Ground, things have gone their way. Could we see new tag champions crowned this week?

Lot to get through tonight. And not just in terms of results here. I have like... over a dozen edits that need to be uploaded, and a couple more to be polished before uploading. But let's focus on Proving Ground first. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/748478510Youtube: youtu.be/VggFrVwiUk8Quick Results Golden Tiger def. Hugo Dirksen Calista Vargas def. Titania HAYATO and SATOMI def. The Gallego Twins Jessika Boom def. Anna Bryant Arthur Wright def. Sanya Markov The Excellent Blades def. The Yoshida Twins Freya O'Malley def. Jackson Shaw Fresh Suzuki def. Leona Sterling La Familia def. The Muscle Machines to retain the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships Write-ups The Tiger was not alone in this match... and that was the big difference here. Tigress and Reina stood on the outside and interjected themselves into the mix multiple times, whenever Hugo got on the attack... and that helped to put Tiger over the Dutchman in the end, a Stretch Muffler putting this one to an end in controversial fashion. Titania's going to need to focus much harder next month, or things like this are bound to keep happening. This one got nasty late, with a chair coming into play on the outside... Calista landing a facebuster onto it, only to promptly get smashed with a Triple Powerbomb into the very same chair herself. But the Brazilian didn't let up... and eventually came off with a spinning frog splash to score the win. Team Tachibana is back to their winning ways, and against one of Proving Ground's top teams, no less. The Gallegos were tough here, but HAYATO and SATOMI were just that much better, and it'd be SATOMI's signature submission that put this one to rest, forcing Gabriela to give in. Someone finally figured Anna Bryant out one-on-one, and it just so happened to be the dynamic Jessika Boom. She was lightning in a bottle here, pushing through Anna's suplexes and submissions, flash pins and all, staying in the fight up until she got her opening... and a Dynamite Cutter put the red-hot rookie down. All-out war, that's all there is to say about this one. Sanya did his best to dump Arthur on his head as many times as he could... but Arthur was working hard on the legs, potentially setting the stage for the Triangle Scorpion, as the Wrights tend to favor. That, however, finally seemed to go out the window when Arthur appeared to lose his patience... and the Screwdriver made sure this one came to a brutal end, with Arthur standing tall over the Russian. A wild, chaotic fight between these two teams... and while the Yoshidas did their best to try and shut down the Blades, Donna Nobel would have none of it. And just as the fight spilled back into the ring, Donna saw her opportunity... nailing a brutal knee and locking in one of her vicious submissions, and before Naoko could push herself back to her feet, Shiori had already tapped out. The Giant-Killer's run just continues. Freya O'Malley once again stared down an opponent much larger than herself, and over the course of this match, chopped Jackson Shaw down to size, tearing into him with the same ferocity that she had during the tournament. With one month to go until her shot at the World Championship, and matches on both Evergreen and Showdown awaiting her, what are we going to see from Freya in the near future? This was nothing short of dominance from a young woman that, until recently, had been a perennial underdog. But this is an all-new Fresh Suzuki, and one that isn't willing to roll over for anyone now that she's the Inspire Champion. Leona Sterling just couldn't get it going here, and Fresh is looking incredibly tough ahead of the Ascension. Early guesses saw this one going heavily in favor of the Muscle Machines. There was hope that Rey and Chico could overcome this challenge, but to many, it seemed fleeting. And then the match began, and one of the most insane matches of the year broke out, with neither side seemingly willing to give an inch to the other. It seemed to be in the Machines' favor, regardless... but Chico, the definition of "clutch", simply wouldn't let their miracle reign end this way... and after a 450 onto Gary Gear, and a cut-off from Rey, La Familia retains their titles and stays on top of the division for a while longer.

I have the card set, so there's no sense in delaying putting the thing up, right? Victoria Fox vs. Rebecca Andrews
Julian Shepard vs. KyO
Kelly Wolfe vs. Sayaka Saito
The Sheridan Brothers vs. Crimson Romance
Penelope Lea vs. Babe Ruthless
The Phantom Thief vs. Logan Axelrod
Freya O'Malley vs. Kevin Royce
El Verde vs. Concrete Pete and Skidmark for the Evergreen Tag Team Championships Kicking things off this week for Evergreen, Victoria Fox returns to singles action, as the quickly-rising tag team take on separate matches against 2/3 of Oakland's Most Metal. Notably absent this time around is Veronika Armstrong, though we'll be seeing plenty of her in the weeks to come as the Grand Ascension gets under way. For now, though, Rebecca Andrews will try to bring down the impressive Victoria, who's been easily one of the better competitors since her arrival in Evergreen. Julian Shepard has a new face to take on this week... but who exactly is KyO? A Wrestle Parade name, for one, like so many on the Evergreen roster... but how was he found, and who's responsible for bringing the brash young man into the fed? That, it seems, remains to be seen on Thursday... but Julian may very well have his hands full with this one. Kelly Wolfe is an incredibly dangerous tag partner, though her singles career hasn't gotten off to the best start. She's got to take on Sayaka Saito this week, though, and she'll be looking to bring her devastating armbars into play and come away with a much-needed victory... otherwise, she may do best sticking by Victoria's side. A match that was supposed to happen quite a while ago, but circumstances prevented it... but Crimson Romance are finally back and looking for the match they've been owed against the Sheridans. For their part, the Sheridans would probably much rather finally get around to this match over facing the titans that are Binak Tonorian and Argent a second time... Penelope Lea has remained one of Evergreen's most dangerous women in a singles setting... and she's wiped out many opponents who just weren't ready for her. We'll find out if Babe Ruthless is another one of those, as these two clash in what could be a glimpse at the near future. Word has it that when Thunder Lumber began making waves about their CEO's son, Mercy Devine was... hesitant, to say the least. But after meeting Logan Axelrod, there's absolutely no hesitation any longer... and the big man is coming to Evergreen right away, squaring off with the Phantom Thief. Surprisingly, the Thief is still around... though his time in Evergreen might be limited, if Mercy has anything to say about it. Freya O'Malley continues her Phoenix Rising tour by coming to the land of hardcore... and she's not even remotely screwing around here. The Giant-Killer has made it very clear that she wants to face the biggest and baddest that every show in the organization has to offer... and so, look no further than Kevin Royce, the hardcore legend. As good as Freya's been, as incredible as she is, stepping into the ring with Royce is not something to be taken lightly... and this could finally prove to be the one match that sees her in over her head. Closing out the last Evergreen before the start of the Grand Ascension, the tag titles are on the line, in a long-awaited matchup between challengers El Verde, and the big boy champions. Concrete Pete and Skidmark have been absolute wrecking balls as a team, but El Verde may just have exactly what it takes to stop them and take home the titles...

Couple of debuts, a tag title match, and a little extra on top. That's how Evergreen rolls, quick and to the point. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/751314123Youtube: youtu.be/aQxuoeuxpmcQuick Results Rebecca Andrews def. Victoria Fox Julian Shepard def. KyO Sayaka Saito def. Kelly Wolfe The Sheridan Brothers def. Crimson Romance Penelope Lea def. Babe Ruthless Logan Axelrod def. The Phantom Thief Freya O'Malley def. Kevin Royce El Verde def. Concrete Pete and Skidmark to become the NEW Evergreen Tag Team Champions Bonus Match: Riley Montgomery def. Jennifer Hunter Write-ups A hell of a hot opener as we so often see, with Rebecca Andrews looking better than ever. Victoria Fox did all she could to keep her momentum going, but Rebecca was just the better woman tonight, nailing a springboard Meteora and scoring a big-time win, perhaps seeking to put the apparent tag contenders in doubt. Apparently all it took was a brash new talent making his debut for Julian Shepard to find his footing again. He beat KyO around the ring without missing a beat, and nothing stood in his way... and Julian came away with a big win, as Sabrina watched from ringside in frustration. Kelly's singles career continues to stall badly as she was absolutely dismantled by Sayaka here, barely able to get off any of her usual armwork before Sayaka wrenched her into her brutal full-nelson camel clutch, and forced her to quit. The long-awaited match that was supposed to happen a month ago, finally happened here, and surprisingly, the wait was worthwhile. The Sheridans finally looked more like a team again, and weathered a vicious attack from Luci and Chasity, Vincent finding an opening late in the match to score the victory. Penelope Lea came to the ring with a brand-new, updated look... and some new moves in her arsenal, as we quickly found out. She was a wrecking ball here, tearing Babe Ruthless apart, and made sure eMo had a victory on the night after Crimson Romance fell in the previous match. Now we see why Mercy was so eager to bring this man into the fold. Logan Axelrod was beyond impressive here, his stature only the beginning of it as he steadily (and quite literally) chopped the Thief down, culminating in a crushing grounded chop that put the final point on this brutal matchup. What is there that can possibly stop this woman? Freya O'Malley has once again stood against tremendous odds, staring down a hardcore legend in Kevin Royce, traded chairshots with him and just kept coming... and though her Batten Kill tigerdriver didn't quite get the job done, a shooting star press a moment later certainly did, and Freya continues to rip through everything in her path. El Verde is finally back on top of the Evergreen tag division. Speed and agility, along with a little bit of Verde's brand of violence, served them very, very well tonight... and although the big men were just as destructive as usual, Verde was in no mood to walk out without the tag titles back around their waists... and she scored big with a Reincarnation, spinning Pete into a pinfall while Skidmark was unable to assist, and capturing the tag titles. Mercy Devine had one final surprise for the night... a third signing to Evergreen, and one that Freya O'Malley recognized immediately. Riley Montgomery, currently standing as the only person we've witnessed beating Freya, made a huge debut in an extra bonus match against Jennifer Hunter, and made it very clear that she's not going to take her time. Her early exit from the 50-State tournament clearly isn't representative of her true talent... as Jennifer very quickly found out. Freya O'Malley "You know, when I first had the idea to go around to the big shows and feel things out, I figured the choice would either be tough, or I'd wind up settling on the big one, Showdown. That I'd want to put myself out there in front of the biggest crowd, the top talents, take on the names that everyone recognizes. Tonight, though? Tonight I felt more alive than I think I've ever felt. That's three times, now, that I've stepped into the ring with an Evergreen name, and three times I've come out ahead with one of the toughest and best matches of my life. And I want more. I can't make my decision yet... not until after Monday, and maybe not even until after the Grand Ascension, when I take my shot at the World Championship. But Evergreen's made one hell of an impression. And I find myself wanting more.
Oh, and as for you guys apparently bringing in Riley Montgomery? Good. Bring it on, you bitch, I'm ready for round two. You won a match over me when it didn't count for anything... then flamed out of the tournament right out of the gate. I went on and beat the whole damn field, won the whole thing. Now we'll see who's really better between us. If I really do decide to land here, Riley, I'm gonna hunt your ass down and beat you senseless, you hear me?"

Coming up a bit late here, but we've got Showdown running tomorrow on schedule. It's a bit of a doozy. Kileas Kintelas challenge
Kyle Anderson vs. Markos Andreas
The Limbtakers vs. Haruka Matsura and Selisha
Todd Colton vs. Kellaron Sentarl
Angel Leblanc vs. Listalva Anne Heyward
Victor Kintelas vs. Mascara Avispa
The Sentarl Sisters vs. Celine Chevalier and Michelle Rochefort
Urani Whitemist vs. Telan Kintelas
Freya O'Malley vs. Lance Marshall
Besos vs. Anari Lynn Heyward for the Pacific Northwest ChampionshipLast time on Showdown, we witnessed the return of Kileas Kintelas... who came back to assist Firehawk Sentarl as his tag partner against Pure Gold, and seemingly, against all of Vindication. That would check out here, as Kileas has stated his intention to start off the show this week by calling out none other than Vindication's leader, Shiana Sentarl. We'll have to find out whether this is possible...
Phoenix Rising once again showcases its Grand Ascension participants, in contrast with Evergreen that rested theirs (besides Concrete Pete because of championships). Kyle Anderson will seek to keep his momentum hot going into the league as he squares off with Markos Andreas. Expect a hard-hitting fight here, between two of the best talents around.
The Limbtakers are crossing paths with the Malevolent Triad, the two members that have quickly taken center stage, with Oscuro oddly fading into the background. We've yet to learn what's going on, but it's unlikely the Limbtakers are concerned with that so much as they are with taking on two of the most dangerous women in Phoenix Rising, in Haruka and Selisha.
Todd Colton has a few goals here. First: build momentum going into the Grand Ascension. Second: take down a member of the Sentarl family. Third: Remind the world that he's the best talent in the world today, and there's nobody that can deny it. We'll see how successful he is against Kellaron here, but given how good he's been lately, he seems poised to make a huge impact.
Angel Leblanc is also a part of the Grand Ascension, and she's out to take the biggest step of her career. A win in the Ascension would be colossal for the leader of Les Beautes Blondes, but standing in her way this week is Listalva Anne Heyward, perhaps one of the most well-rounded talents on the entire Showdown roster.
The reigning Top Prospect, a Grand Ascension participant, and easily one of the best in the world right now. Victor Kintelas has been on fire over the past year, but even he might hesitate with the match coming up this week, taking on Mascara Avispa. Don't take your eyes off of this one.
Eri Sentarl will be the only Ascension participant this week to not have a singles match, as she teams up with Kaelara to square off with a Les Beautes Blondes duo that we haven't seen before. Celine Chevalier has apparently been instructed to pair up with Michelle Rochefort this week, and we'll see how well the two blend together against the Sentarl sisters.
Urani Whitemist is the last Showdown participant in the Grand Ascension, and her match will be one that likely favors her quite a bit. Still, it's a bad idea to underestimate Telan Kintelas, and this one could get heated before the end...
Lance Marshall was deeply unsatisfied with the way his 50-State run ended at the hands of Freya O'Malley, and he's looking for a rematch. Freya, however, is coming off of a tremendous victory on Evergreen, and now she's looking for her second win over Marshall, making one thing very clear: when she faces off against World Champion Laenara Kintelas, she intends to take home that title and prove she's already one of the best talents in the world.
Finally, capping off the night, the Pacific Northwest Championship is on the line... and once again, we've reached a second defense for a champion. Anari Lynn Heyward successfully made her first defense last time around, defeating Michelle Rochefort, and now she steps into the ring with Besos, who will absolutely be looking to keep the title's "curse" going on Anari by taking the Pacific Northwest title from her... the winner carries the title through into Night 4 of the Grand Ascension, where the first of two defenses during the league will take place.

That's gonna do it for now, the Grand Ascension arrives next week, and that's gonna take over October once again. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/755272710Youtube: youtu.be/tiGA0LILNWIQuick Results Kileas Kintelas def. Yuki Maeda Kyle Anderson def. Markos Andreas The Limbtakers def. The Malevolent Triad Todd Colton def. Kellaron Sentarl Listalva Anne Heyward def. Angel Leblanc Victor Kintelas def. Mascara Avispa Les Beautes Blondes (Celine/Michelle) def. The Sentarl Sisters Telan Kintelas def. Urani Whitemist Lance Marshall def. Freya O'Malley Anari Lynn Heyward def. Besos to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship Bonus: Silver Hawk def. Revon Beauregard Write-ups Kileas wanted Shiana Sentarl tonight, but the leader of Vindication was nowhere to be seen... not even at ringside here, as Yuki Maeda came down to the ring instead. She gave Kileas a hell of a fight, as well, making him struggle at points, but the familiar Shotgun would put this one away, while still leaving the Alpha Villain unsatisfied with the night's events. Never deny that Kyle Anderson might just be the master of finishing big. He was a wrecking ball tonight, delivering multiple Baltimore Bombs, but it was a wild combination of suplexes that won the day here, culminating in one hell of a win ahead of his Grand Ascension run. This one got wild, no doubt about it... and the Limbtakers seemed to have it won on a couple of occasions, if not for Fenix Oscuro's interference from the outside. Ruthless Nicole Alger did not let that stand in their way, however... and she absolutely leveled Selisha in the end, scoring the pin with Haruka just a step too slow to break it up. Once again, Todd Colton is looking strong, and his Grand Ascension run just might be miles ahead of where it was last year. Todd could be one to watch here... as he took the fight to Kellaron, almost toyed with him at times before it was time to wrap things up, and after a Destroyer, that was the end of it. Once again, we catch a glimpse of Listalva's true potential and talent, as she stood face-to-face with Angel Leblanc and didn't so much as blink. And while Angel gave her a fight, everything seemed to be leading up to Lis locking in her STF, and she finally got it, scoring a near-instant tapout once she finally cinched it in. Victor Kintelas once again puts any doubt to rest: he is the Top Prospect, he's potentially a favorite for the Grand Ascension next month... and his win here was one of the stronger ones of the night, taking down Mascara Avispa and making it clear that Block A may very well be his to win. A pairing that LBB hasn't put out there before... and yet, Celine and Michelle looked just as strong as any other LBB duo, systematically dismantling Eri Sentarl before Celine landed a vicious Lightning Spiral to finish the job, practically taunting Kaelara as Michelle cut her off. On paper, Urani should've been completely in charge here... but that's not how it wound up going. Telan Kintelas was in trouble for the first half, but suddenly turned it up and delivered one hell of a beatdown, culminating in a corner brainbuster and a diving headbutt to come from behind and score the win. Someone finally pulled one over on Freya. Perhaps it was knowledge of her ability, maybe it was Freya having an off-night, but Lance Marshall was back to his old self tonight, and made Freya realize it. Everything was firing tonight, Cattle Drives landing, the Demonkiller hitting dead-center of the ring... and the Stampede showing itself for the first time in quite a while, giving Lance the big victory and avenging his tournament loss. Anari Lynn Heyward has clearly had enough of "curses". Nobody's defended the Pacific Northwest Championship more than once since March, until now... and she did it in dominant fashion against Besos, plowing through her like nothing. Anari continues to stand tall, and now, she looks towards Silver Hawk... why Silver Hawk, you might ask? Revon Beauregard was going to be next in line for a shot at Anari's title, but then this match happened... and Silver Hawk was on a mission. He made sure this match went his way, and absolutely ruined Revon's day, taking his place in the rankings and setting himself up for a shot at the Pacific Northwest Championship at Night 4 of the Grand Ascension... Kileas Kintelas "Allow me to be perfectly blunt here: You can't hide behind the rest of Vindication forever, nor can you hide behind your pledge not to fight Firehawk. You're out of options, you're out of time. You and I will face each other, Shiana, and believe me when I say this: you can claim all day to have the numbers advantage, but when the day comes, you'll see just how wrong you really are. You have nothing over me, nothing over Firehawk. Vindication's time is already coming to an end, and I will make absolutely certain that you never forget it."

So, here we go. Coming up on Monday is the start of this year's Grand Ascension, which, if you'll remember from last year, is a G-1 style round-robin league. Two blocks of eight wrestlers each, the top from each block meets on the final night to determine the winner. We already know the participants, so let's first get the bracket up (the matches will not be in the order listed on this bracket, but it'll be a good reference when the shows get rolling.) challonge.com/vu0nbvw6Night 1 looks like this: Strawberry Sookie vs. Angel Leblanc
Eddy Introspect vs. Veronika Armstrong HAYATO vs. Victor Kintelas Sanya Markov vs. Todd Colton Concrete Pete vs. Eri Sentarl Titania vs. Urani Whitemist Emelia "Air" Hart vs. Fresh Suzuki Roland Chang III vs. Kyle AndersonKicking things off will be the current reigning Evergreen Champion, taking on the always-dangerous Angel Leblanc. Angel, however, is still reeling from a loss at the hands of Listalva Anne Heyward last Monday, and Sookie may be able to take advantage of this fact.
Eddy Introspect will meet fellow Evergreen star Veronika Armstrong on the first night. We haven't seen much of Veronika lately, having taken last Evergreen off seemingly in preparation for this tournament, but rumor already has it that she's coming into this with a completely new outlook... time will tell whether it pays off.
Victor Kintelas, the current reigning Top Prospect Champion, has his eyes on even bigger and better things. Needless to say, if he can win the tournament, he'll be looking at potentially squaring off with his own sister for the World Championship... but he's got to win, first, and it starts right here against HAYATO.
Todd Colton may very well be facing one of the toughest matches of the entire block right out of the gate, as he takes on the powerful Russian, Sanya Markov. Todd will have to bring all of his pure technique into play here against the big Russian, but there's no doubt that he has what it takes to start the tournament off right.
Eri Sentarl might be running into an early roadblock here as she takes on Concrete Pete as her first opponent. The big man from Evergreen will obviously be looking to bounce back after losing the Evergreen Tag Team Championships to El Verde last week, but he'll have to stop Eri's agility from coming into play.
It's a matchup of powerhouses, and for once, Titania isn't likely to have the upper hand. It's Titania vs. the Titan, Urani Whitemist, and size will definitely be a factor here as Urani seeks to take Block B by storm... and potentially set her on a collision course with her own wife for the World Championship, if Laenara is still champion after the Grand Ascension wraps up.
It's a high-flying battle in Block A's main event, as Emelia "Air" Hart, winner of Wrestle Parade's tournament to decide their entry, squares off with Proving Ground's Inspire Champion, Fresh Suzuki. There's simply no doubt about it: this could go down as one of the best matches of the whole tournament, right here on Night 1.
Closing out the show, Block B's half of the main event will see the Senatorial Office's entrant, Roland Chang III, straight from TIPWF, taking on the Five-Star one himself. Kyle Anderson looked beyond tough in his win over Markos Andreas this week, but Chang's bigger, stronger than Markos... and Kyle doesn't know this newcomer nearly as well as his fellow Phoenix Rising stars. Can he handle the young talent out of Texas?

We're under way, and the first night gives us a lot to think about already. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/762043540Youtube: youtu.be/4jfBSXUaEnwQuick Results Strawberry Sookie def. Angel Leblanc Eddy Introspect def. Veronika Armstrong Victor Kintelas def. HAYATO Todd Colton def. Sanya Markov Concrete Pete def. Eri Sentarl Urani Whitemist def. Titania Emelia "Air" Hart def. Fresh Suzuki Roland Chang III def. Kyle Anderson Write-ups Strawberry Sookie isn't the Evergreen Champion for nothing. And faced with one of Phoenix Rising's most enduring talents, she didn't back down an inch... countering Angel's high-class style with her typical violent, unpredictable behavior. Ultimately, a quick ripcord cutter put an end to this one, though not before Sookie got down to share a few choice words with Angel before scoring the pin. Eddy Introspect remains one of the most unpredictable talents in all of Evergreen. He can be struggling the entire match to get anything going, but when it comes right down to it, you can never count him out... because he's capable of picking up victories out of the blue, as he did here over Veronika Armstrong. Truly impressive, and eMo is looking good in both blocks early on. The Top Prospect remains one of the most devastatingly effective wrestlers in all of Phoenix Rising. Victor Kintelas was dominant over HAYATO, making it very clear what it's going to take to stop him from winning Block A... and it may be more than anyone's capable of doing. Sanya Markov's raw power clashed with Todd Colton's amazing technique here, and when the dust settled, it wound up being Todd's agility that won the day instead. A huge Destroyer late scored a nearfall, but Todd wasn't content... throwing Sanya into the corner, landing a Spider German suplex, and immediately following that up with a thunderous Tornado DDT off the top rope, picking up easily the most impressive win of the night. This is, to put it lightly, a nightmare matchup for the Little Phoenix. Giving up size, strength, and a wild level of violence to Pete, Eri nevertheless managed to hold out for some time, fighting her way back into the match before getting caught with a Cement Mixer, and ultimately getting crushed under Pete's weight. Titania met the Titan, and did not like what she ended up with. She managed to get some shots in, but this match was all Urani, ripping into Titania without any hesitation and nailing a Whitemist Bomb to put this one away seemingly without breaking a sweat. Emelia Hart fought her way through a tough tournament bracket to get to this point... and she wasn't about to let her momentum be halted now. Squaring off with Fresh Suzuki, she took on the Inspire Champion face-to-face, and matched move-for-move, eventually scoring a huge win off a Dragon Suplex, and made it very clear that she intends to keep winning for as long as she can. Roland Chang III's first match in a Phoenix Rising ring wound up being a wild one. With Kyle Anderson trying to do all he could to shut down the young star, Chang just kept coming... and blocking the biggest moves Kyle had to throw his way. He seemed to see right through most of Kyle's offense, and twice blocked a superplex attempt to nail a flying powerbomb... the second of which would bring a thunderous end to this match, and give the outside a big victory. Todd Colton "So lemme be right up-front about that one. You kick this thing off, you throw me in the ring with a Russian meathead that's got nothing but a bunch of big scary head-dropping moves behind him, and not a single hint of anything else to back it up. And you put him in the ring with the best talent Phoenix Rising has to offer. What the hell did you think was gonna happen? He's not THAT big, he's not THAT strong, and he sure as hell isn't on my level. They wanna keep calling Block B 'Hoss Block' 'cause of all the big dumb powerhouses running around? Well, it's not gonna be won by any of those big dumb powerhouses, it's gonna be won by ME. It takes more than being the strongest person in that ring to be the best, it takes talent, it takes technique, agility, and most of all, SWAGGER. And oh, you better fuckin' believe I've got every single one of those in spades.
Hell, you might as well just stop after tonight and give me the win. 'cause Block B is gonna be mine. And there's not a single person in Block A that's got what it takes to stop me, either. You're looking at the Grand Ascension winner right here. And you're looking at the next Phoenix Rising World Champion."

Thursday night brings us Night 2 of the tournament, where we'll start to get a better sense of where everyone stands. How many 2-0s will we see? And for that matter, 0-2s? Fresh Suzuki (0-1) vs. Concrete Pete (1-0)
Roland Chang III (1-0) vs. Urani Whitemist (1-0)
Victor Kintelas (1-0) vs. Eri Sentarl (0-1)
Sanya Markov (0-1) vs. Titania (0-1)
Emelia "Air" Hart (1-0) vs. Angel Leblanc (0-1)
Kyle Anderson (0-1) vs. Eddy Introspect (1-0)
HAYATO (0-1) vs. Strawberry Sookie (1-0)
Todd Colton (1-0) vs. Veronika Armstrong (0-1) Kicking things off, Concrete Pete squares off with another opponent that he has an enormous size advantage over... though Fresh Suzuki has often proved to be more resilient than Eri, and just might make this one a much, much tougher fight. Fresh will be out to bounce back after dropping her first match to Emelia "Air" Hart, and the Inspire Champion should not be counted out here. Roland Chang III was beyond impressive in his tournament debut on Monday, going to war against Kyle Anderson and eventually coming out on top after scouting almost every bit of Kyle's major offense. This, however, is an entirely different beast. The Titan, Urani Whitemist, may very well be the toughest that anyone faces in Block B, and it's not an exception here for Chang. Eri Sentarl ran into some serious trouble in her first match against Concrete Pete, and now she steps into the ring against the reigning Top Prospect. Victor Kintelas is coming off of a complete destruction of HAYATO on Monday, so Eri will need to be careful... lest she wind up falling into an 0-2 hole. Two wrestlers who found themselves taking a loss on Monday (Sanya in stunning fashion against Todd Colton), two powerhouses will clash here, as Titania seeks a win to get herself back into contention after being wiped out by Urani in her first match. Emelia "Air" Hart was easily one of the best competitors on Monday's show, scoring a huge win over the Inspire Champion, and instantly made herself a potential favorite to win Block A. Angel Leblanc, meanwhile, ran into Strawberry Sookie and had a bad time of it... can she turn it around against the young ninja? Eddy Introspect could very easily be the most dangerous man in Block B. In a group that one could call "Hoss Block", it's surprising to think that Eddy could easily steal the whole thing... but one match doesn't win the block, and he's got to get through Kyle Anderson this week. Strawberry Sookie will look to continue her dominant run here: as Evergreen Champion, she's been nearly unstoppable, and she looked just as strong as ever against Angel on Monday. HAYATO will have to focus against her, or she'll coast to a 2-0 record and look like the one to beat in Block A. Finally, capping off the night, a potential highlight match for Block B: Todd Colton, fresh off of a huge, spectacular win over Sanya Markov, squares off with Veronika Armstrong, who fell short in her first match against Eddy Introspect. Can the new-look Veronika get back on track here?

A message from Roland Chang III: Roland Chang III: You all saw my match with Kyle Anderson. He's good, real good. But he made one big mistake, and he made it one too many times. That's all it takes against me. One time. But that's the way things go in something like this. Maybe Kyle beats me four out of five times. But you don't get five chances when every win and loss matters. Now, I got a match with Urani Whitemist. She's big time, and I don't blame anyone who thinks she's the one to bet on. But I fully intend to make each and every one of those people lose their money. She's got her Whitemist Bomb, but I got my Wrangler Bomb. And every single match, I just get better and better. I keep working harder, learning things about myself and what I can do in that ring without relying on my family. This would be the biggest win I've earned if I pull it off. And I think I can do that.
RC III: Now, if my new ring gear could ship a little faster, then that'd be just plain perfect...

Two nights down, but plenty more to go as we keep moving forward. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/764913634Youtube: youtu.be/w4NeXrLVT3EQuick Results Fresh Suzuki def. Concrete Pete Urani Whitemist def. Roland Chang III Eri Sentarl def. Victor Kintelas Titania def. Sanya Markov Emelia "Air" Hart def. Angel Leblanc Eddy Introspect def. Kyle Anderson Strawberry Sookie def. HAYATO Todd Colton def. Veronika Armstrong Write-ups Fresh Suzuki is on a roll, scoring a big win over Concrete Pete, taking down the big man with her pure speed and technique. The reigning Inspire Champion continues to look strong in the early goings of the tournament, and could easily be a sudden favorite to take Block A. This was flat-out power clashing with power, but experience won out this time, with Urani Whitemist reminding everyone in attendance that she's the premiere powerhouse in all of Phoenix Rising. She moves to 2-0 after crushing Chang with a bearhug, and there's simply no doubt that she's looking to be the Block B favorite. This was the match Eri needed after getting taken down by Pete, bouncing back in a big way against the Top Prospect. She weathered one hell of a storm here, taking all that Victor had save the dangerous Cutter, and she'd eventually line up a superkick to put this one away and get herself on the board with a win. Titania was a wrecking ball in this match, seemingly in control right from the start, and even Sanya couldn't fight his way back from that. Her greatest weapon was the Iron Claw, which she ensured would get the job done as she clamped it on more than a few times, leaving Sanya bloodied and beaten by the end of the night. Emelia is simply relentless, that can't be denied. She was determined to end this one, and she damn well did that, wiping Angel out with three straight Slingblade variations, and ensured the veteran now has an uphill battle to compete in Block A. Eddy Introspect remains as unpredictable and clutch as he's ever been. Kyle Anderson did his best to shut Eddy down, but the comeback was inevitable, it seemed, and Eddy would nail a big-time cutter to put this one away, and move to 2-0... will eMo's dominance extend even to this tournament? Sookie might just be the queen of the comeback. HAYATO seemed in control for the first part of this match, but then things turned around as the Evergreen Champion quickly turned up the heat, and after a series of brutal cutters, she'd also moved to 2-0 alongside Eddy... could they conquer both blocks at the same time? Veronika's new look hasn't yet translated into success, but it wasn't for lack of trying. It's just that Todd Colton really is that good, pushing through as much as he could until he managed to snap off a Destroyer, and picked up a major victory. His declaration of winning Block B could very well come to fruition if he keeps this up.

This is the part where I remember "Hey, you probably should post the card for Night 3, stupid" Urani Whitemist (2-0) vs. Eddy Introspect (2-0)
Strawberry Sookie (2-0) vs. Concrete Pete (1-1) Todd Colton (2-0) vs. Titania (1-1) Fresh Suzuki (1-1) vs. Angel Leblanc (0-2) Veronika Armstrong (0-2) vs. Roland Chang III (1-1) HAYATO (0-2) vs. Eri Sentarl (1-1) Kyle Anderson (0-2) vs. Sanya Markov (0-2) Emelia "Air" Hart (2-0) vs. Victor Kintelas (1-1)Starting things off here, we have a match that could very well determine how Block B ends up shaking out, with Urani and Eddy both undefeated thus far. The winner here likely becomes the favorite to win the block, though remember... they're not the only 2-0s in Block B, with Todd Colton also at that point.
Strawberry Sookie has also done remarkably well for herself so far, standing at the top of Block A with only Emelia Hart matching her. Concrete Pete, however, could be the one to take down his fellow Evergreen star... but with how good Sookie's been, even Pete may find this a difficult task.
Todd's looking for that 3-0 record, but in this case, it may not be as easy as expected. Titania bounced back from her crushing defeat on Night 1 by going to war with Sanya Markov, and came away with a huge victory... and now, her sights are set on fighting her way back into contention.
Angel's had a surprisingly tough time of it thus far in her first two matches, the veteran having fallen well short of expectations. She'll have to figure out a way to recover against Fresh Suzuki, and try to avoid falling to 0-3... which could make the gap completely insurmountable.
Veronika Armstrong's new look hasn't quite helped her in the ring yet, and it may not work much here against Roland Chang III, either. The young powerhouse has been impressive so far, despite a defeat to Urani Whitemist, and Veronika simply has to figure out how to tackle this colossal threat.
Eri Sentarl kicked off her run with a loss at the hands of Concrete Pete... but quickly reminded the world how dangerous she really is with a win over Victor Kintelas. Now, she looks towards HAYATO, who's had a tough time getting situated, and as she seeks a Block A victory, can anyone really stop her?
Two surprisingly winless stars face off in Block B's last match of the night, with Kyle and Sanya both sitting on 0-2, strangely enough. One of them will get their first win, and could start pushing their run to bigger and better heights, but 0-3 is a deep hole to crawl out of.
Closing out the night, Block A leader Emelia "Air" Hart squares off with the reigning Top Prospect, Victor Kintelas. Emelia's been beyond impressive so far, picking up huge wins over Fresh Suzuki and Angel Leblanc, but Victor is a different story... can she keep up this incredible run and cement her place at the top?
