Made it through another show, despite feeling like there's so much crap in my throat I can't breathe normally half the time. Blech. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/411801383Youtube: youtu.be/NAevC-gR_bQQuick Results The Phantom Thief def. Mascara Avispa Besos def. Rachel White Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura def. Adrenaline Rush Yuki Maeda def. Shiana Sentarl Cassandra Marshall def. Blake Dynamite Eri Sentarl and Listalva Anne Heyward def. Pure Gold Lance Marshall def. Firehawk Sentarl Urani Whitemist def. Rilantha De Nav Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright def. The Rising Storm Binak Tonorian def. The Black Dragon Natasha Clover def. Kaelara Sentarl to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Champion Write-ups Another stunning performance from the Phantom Thief, once again remembering that on any given day he could very well be the most dangerous man in Phoenix Rising... even if most other days, he's anything but. Besos came out of the gate on a mission here, and she got exactly what she was after: no, not Besos, but she certainly got the win, rolling Rachel around the ring until she was too disoriented to fight back. A very big, much-needed win for Besos. A wild one here to close out the pre-show, with the team of Oscuro and Haruka still working out the kinks in their new team... but picking up another win as Oscuro locked in her always-dangerous Torture Romero in the center of the ring for a near-instant tapout. Shiana may be a much more experienced veteran now than when she last faced Yuki, but the result remains the same as it often did in those days: Yuki overpowered Shiana early, and never let up for a second, crushing the Queen with a big bomb and reminding her just who really was in charge... then and now. This might've been the biggest showcase of what Cassandra Marshall is capable of since she arrived on Showdown. Kicking out of multiple Lotations and taking the fight to Blake in a big way, she showed absolutely no fear, eventually beating him at his own game by landing an impressive Sky Twister, and picking up a major victory. There can be no doubt that Eri Sentarl may now be, once again, the fastest-rising star in Phoenix Rising. Two weeks ago, she was a major part of the victory over Les Beautes Blondes... and this week, she scores an incredible upset victory by pinning Mallory Spaulding alongside her new tag partner, Listalva Anne Heyward. Can anything stop the Little Phoenix now? Lance Marshall continues to be the man to beat: no matter how good you think you are, Lance appears to be the gatekeeper to the best of the best, and Firehawk still seems incapable of finding his way back to that top spot that's eluded him for over a year. A truly valiant effort by the veteran here, with Ril nearly taking the win a few times... but a crushing Whitemist Bomb finally wiped out her momentum, and the Titan would pick up another win, perhaps preparing for another clash at the top of the division. This was close right to the finish: with Anahera a wrecking ball in the ring, bringing the fight to the champions. But even the Maori warrior has her limits, and if the stiff right hand didn't knock her out, the crushing German right afterwards likely did the job, and with Xiu Mei Li just a step too slow to make the save, the champions walk away with another big win. The Black Dragon seems lost. Aimless, she's been unable to figure things out lately, and in moments that should've been ones of triumph and glory, she's met only with defeat, frustration... confusion. Once again, she challenged a giant, and once again, she wasn't up to the task, this time falling without putting up nearly the fight she did the first time around. Now with Binak intending to come for her World Championship, can the Dragon find the fire within her once again? This was a star-making moment for Natasha Clover. The early part of the match was back-and-forth, almost literally, the two trading shots without any hesitation... but Natasha slowly began to turn the tide with her superior striking ability, and eventually, she began to land her explosive spears, slamming into the champion with stunning power and precision. Just when it seemed like Kaelara was prepared to turn things around and defend her title, however, the third spear of the match seemed to completely wipe her out, and Natasha would topple the Pacific Northwest Champion, claiming her first title on Showdown... and making her the first wrestler in Phoenix Rising to have won a title on both Proving Ground and Showdown. Natasha Clover "I told you... Kae. I told you I'd knock you out and take your title. And from the way that you just laid there, maybe with a cracked rib or two from that last spear, as I pinned you for the win... I held up my end of things. I did exactly what I said I'd do to you. I left the great Kaelara Sentarl unconscious at my feet as I lifted the championship that used to be yours over my head. I speared you out of your damn boots... so now there's really only one thing left for me to do. And that's go home with my perfect boyfriend... and, well. You know the rest." Finally, one final thing to announce: The Pacific Northwest Championship, now that it's had its first championship match, will be defended every Showdown going forward, and will have a ranking system to determine who gets the shot each week. I'll be simming a league of the contenders in the division to decide who gets first crack at the title in two weeks, and from there I'll try to keep the rankings more or less updated (possibly in the first post since there's plenty of room?) A #1 contender that loses in their attempt to capture the title goes to the back of the line. No exceptions. Battle royals could happen, those'll be at my discretion, though.

Proving Ground next Monday, as usual: also Evergreen next Thursday (the 25th) and the Academy's April live show next Saturday (the 27th). Busy week coming up, but plenty of time to prepare. Pre-Show: Silver Hawk vs. Zack Sheridan
Pre-Show: Donna Nobel vs. La Relampaga
Pre-Show: Hugo Dirksen vs. Kyle Anderson
SATOMI vs. Fresh Suzuki
Rey de la Carne vs. Vincent Sheridan
Candace Monroe vs. Nicole Blade
The Muscle Machines vs. El Verde
Titania vs. Rin Ryusaki
Elly Blackwood issues open challenge
Layla Al-Amin vs. Anari Lynn Heyward
Victor Kintelas and Kellaron Sentarl vs. Todd Colton and Natasha Clover
Silver Hawk will be looking to get his singles career back on track this week as he takes on Zack Sheridan, coming over from his usual Evergreen stomping grounds once again. No doubt here, this will likely be a wild opener, one that's going to show just what these two are capable of.
La Relampaga had a successful debut last episode, winning her first match against Felice Santana, but now she sets her sights on a much different opponent in Donna Nobel. The young luchadora will have to adjust to a much different style this time around: where Felice was very similar to her own in-ring style, Donna is anything but.
Kyle Anderson continues to look for that breakout moment, and he'll be taking on the Dutchman, Hugo Dirksen, this week, in an attempt to find it. Kyle is coming off of a strong victory over Argent last week, but we've already seen how badly he struggles to keep momentum going in the past...
While SATOMI's debut was unsuccessful last week, she's looking to push past her defeat at the hands of Rin Ryusaki and take on Rin's tag team partner, Fresh Suzuki. SATOMI showed great promise in that debut match, but Fresh is definitely not someone to overlook... no matter how good you think you are.
Vincent Sheridan has continued to be the biggest loudmouth short of Todd Colton in the Phoenix Rising organization... but that's not likely to keep him from having to endure what Rey de la Carne brings to the table. Vincent will need to stay sharp... otherwise, the Carne de Especial will strike again when he least expects it.
Candace Monroe continues to fly solo this week as Ruthless Nicole Alger works through her issues. The Australian fighter won't have an easy time of it, though: while she defeated Donna Nobel last week, she'll have to face the other member of the Blades now as she steps into the ring with Nicole Blade, one of the most dangerous powerhouses on Proving Ground.
After a few weeks of singles competition, the Muscle Machines are back to teaming up this week, and they'll be taking on a guest team from Evergreen: the ever-popular El Verde. No doubt both men will have a lot to say about this matchup, as they prepare to take on two hardcore lucha stars.
Titania came back from a disappointing debut to wipe out Fresh Suzuki last week, and she doesn't seem to be slowing down yet: now she prepares to face Rin Ryusaki, ironically trading opponents with fellow newcomer SATOMI. Titania seems intent on taking the title of the ultimate Proving Ground powerhouse away from the rest of the field... and she could very well do it.
Elly Blackwood remains on the warpath as of late, which saw her taking out Pajaro de Fuego last week: a dominant showing that reminded everyone what Elly's capable of. She's been nothing short of one of the most dangerous members of Proving Ground, to the point where she's issued an open challenge to be answered Monday night...
Layla Al-Amin has fought off every challenger to her Inspire Championship: when the title's on the line, the Cairo Cyclone steps up in a big way. While this will be a non-title matchup, it may prove one of the toughest Layla's faced yet: Anari Lynn Heyward, now on her own thanks to Listalva's promotion, has her sights set on the Inspire Championship... and she could very well be the one to finally topple Layla.
Kellaron Sentarl is back this week, having recovered from the vicious Jackhammer that took him out of the tag team championship match about a month ago, the historic night that saw Victor Kintelas capture the titles while outnumbered and outgunned. But the champions will face a tough test in their first match together with the titles: Todd Colton and Natasha Clover have made it no secret that they're after the gold, and with Natasha just recently capturing the Pacific Northwest Championship by defeating Kaelara Sentarl, she's clearly eager to add another belt to her collection.

Very, very solid show tonight, with more than a few surprises to be had. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/415141653Youtube: youtu.be/ag59XyMPR-AQuick Results
Silver Hawk def. Zack Sheridan Donna Nobel def. La Relampaga Hugo Dirksen def. Kyle Anderson SATOMI def. Fresh Suzuki Rey de la Carne def. Vincent Sheridan Nicole Blade def. Candace Monroe El Verde def. The Muscle Machines Titania def. Rin Ryusaki Kevin Royce and Jennifer Phoenix def. Elly Blackwood Anari Lynn Heyward def. Layla Al-Amin Todd Colton and Natasha Clover def. Kellaron Sentarl and Victor Kintelas Write-ups
Strong opener here, with Silver Hawk steadily looking like his old self again after picking up a solid victory over Zack Sheridan, off the Silver Star Press. Rough night for the Sheridan Brothers, that much was clear. Donna Nobel continues to look like one of the strongest potential challengers for the Inspire Championship, and may find herself in contention for that belt before too much longer... even as the Excellent Blades continue to look strong, both together and separately. The young rookie luchadora just couldn't get it rolling against one of the best pure technicians on Proving Ground. A good showing from both sides here, with Hugo seeming to have the upper hand for the most part... though there was some minor controversy near the end of the match, with referee Mizuki Kita allowing a few holds to go through that appeared to be potential rope breaks. SATOMI couldn't ask for a better match here. While Fresh held up her end of the match, keeping SATOMI on the move, the striker didn't hesitate to deliver every vicious kick in her arsenal, culminating in a flying kick off the top rope that finally put this one to rest, and showed that SATOMI cannot be overlooked. Another week, another instance of Rey de la Carne doing what he does best. The Carne de Especial came out mid-way through this match, but it was a big diving elbow that sealed the win here, taking down the arrogant Evergreen star in convincing fashion. Rey could be on his way back towards the top of Proving Ground again soon... Candace couldn't get any momentum rolling. She fought for every bit of legwork she could get, but Nicole's power slowly but surely turned the tide, and Candace would end up taking three spears throughout the match, the third finally keeping her down. It's unclear what Candace's condition is after this one, but it can't be easy for someone as small as Candace to take so many spears from a much larger opponent like Nicole Blade... The Muscle Machines seemed to have everything rolling... but El Verde would not be denied. Working just as well as ever together, Evergringo and Verde never gave an inch up to the Machines, and Evergringo would catch Gear in a sudden rollup that seemed to leave AAA utterly baffled... by the time he thought to try and break it up, it was too late, and El Verde came away with the win. Rin Ryusaki fought valiantly in this one... keeping a fast pace, trying to keep Titania from bringing her immense power to bear. But Rin just couldn't keep her powerful opponent down... and in a shocking finish, Titania ascended the turnbuckle, and came crashing down, full-force, onto the young ninja. Titania comes away with another impressive victory, and now it seems that she could be one of the most dangerous women in all of Proving Ground. The moment Elly was told that two different people were wanting to answer her open challenge, she snapped right back and told management to bring both of them out... she'd face them two-on-one. After this one, she probably wishes she hadn't. Jennifer Phoenix and Kevin Royce, an odd team to be sure, nevertheless worked well together in taking down the Invincible woman that's terrorized Proving Ground... with Kevin landing a thunderous Iron Claw Slam, and finishing the job. But will this be a full-time appearance for Royce, now that he's been ousted from Evergreen? Anari Lynn Heyward is bound and determined to make a name for herself, apart from her sister's success... and this was a hell of a way to start it. Layla did her best to stay on the move, but Anari overpowered the Inspire Champion at every turn, and catching her with a sudden powerbomb that laid out the Cairo Cyclone, and set Anari on a course for a championship rematch... This was a star-studded match, without a doubt: the Pacific Northwest Champion on one side, the Top Prospect and Proving Ground tag champs on the other. Natasha, clearly out to add to her collection (in the most unusual way possible), was likely the MVP of this match: she took a beating, but refused to quit at any point, at one point catching Kellaron in his own Crossface, slamming heavy strikes into both of her opponents, and paving the way for a huge victory over the champions. While Natasha is officially a member of the Showdown roster... her status as Todd's official tag partner has given both of them an unprecedented freedom, and Natasha could potentially wind up with a championship from both shows, if they win the rematch next Proving Ground. Still, Natasha will have to defend her Pacific Northwest Championship in one week's time... and against nothing less than the Phantom Thief, at that. Natasha Clover and Todd Colton "So, welcome back, big guy... Kellaron's back in the ring, hurray! Too bad your return match had to be against us... the fastest-rising team in all of Phoenix Rising, the best of the best, the Devil Hand and the arm-breaking badass. But let's be honest, boys... this was the way it was gonna go, no matter how tough, how rested, how good you think you really are." Natasha Clover pats a hand down on her Pacific Northwest Championship, smirking at the camera. "I've pinned two champions in two weeks... how's that for a record? Shame I couldn't have pinned Kellaron instead, then I would've had me two Sentarls in a row. But maybe I'll get my chance next Proving Ground... maybe I'll pin Kellaron next time out, take the tag titles, become a double-champ, and keep cutting a path through your entire dumbass family. But first thing's first... I defend this beautiful title of mine, then I come after yours."
"And you better believe that we're gonna do everything we can to make sure that happens... one title isn't enough for a lovely thing like Natasha, y'know." Todd smirks, giving a short laugh. "And I've been itching to finally get some gold of my own... you've got the perfect titles to make that happen. So you better believe that we're walking out of there with everything..."

Evergreen returns to its usual venue this week, coming back Thursday night as usual as the tenure of Mercy Devine as its person in charge continues. The Sheridan Brothers vs. eMo (Sookie and Penelope)
Mercy Devine vs. Ash Defiant
Rebecca Andrews and Sayaka Saito vs. Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura
Veronika Armstrong vs. Babe Ruthless
El Evergringo vs. Eddy Introspect
Kantar vs. Luke Powers (PEWA)
Main Event: Julian Shepard vs. Eternamente VerdeComing off of a rough showing Monday night on Proving Ground, the Sheridan Brothers return home to Evergreen to try and get back on track against eMo, with Sookie and Penelope seeking a comeback win of their own after falling to the surprise team of Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura... but only one can get their momentum rolling again. Mercy Devine continues to keep her own bookings surprisingly humble... and indeed, she's setting herself up for a tough one here as she takes on Ash Defiant, who's been one of Evergreen's most dangerous members since it began. Mercy will have to dig deep if she wants to come away with a win here... The seemingly-makeshift team of Oscuro and Haruka has clearly become something much more official... and it seems as though the duo has no intentions of separating anytime soon. They'll return to Evergreen for the second straight show, preparing to take on the always-tough Rebecca Andrews and Sayaka Saito... but can Veronika Armstrong's bandmates hold up after dropping a tough match to Babe Ruthless and Lash? Veronika, for her part, will have Babe one-on-one this week, trying to re-capture that spark that carried her to the Evergreen championship... she's definitely slipped as of late, but she always seems just one step away from getting back to the top. El Evergringo will surprisingly fly solo here, taking on Eddy Introspect in what's nearly guaranteed to be a match of pure chaos incarnate. It often feels like both of these men don't take anything seriously, but they are not to be underestimated or overlooked... they're far too dangerous for that. Kantar's path of destruction through the PEWA roster continues as he challenges Luke Powers this week, just two weeks after demolishing one-half of the Evergreen tag champions in Skullface Killah. Kantar has yet to lose to a single PEWA star since he began this journey in Evergreen... and rumor has it he could be setting up something big in the near future. Julian Shepard has taken quite the interest in Eternamente Verde... but until now, the two haven't crossed paths. Verde will look to score a major victory and set herself up with a championship opportunity... while Julian seemingly is after something. But is it even possible for Verde to be swayed away from Evergringo by now? The two clearly have figured things out and now get along quite well... In addition, I'll go ahead and post the Showdown card for Monday now, though I won't post the match previews proper until after Evergreen on Thursday. Pre-Show: Nic Nitro vs. Telan Kintelas
Pre-Show: Blake Dynamite vs. Angel Leblanc
Pre-Show: Tommy Thunder vs. Sophia Moretti
Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura vs. The Rising Storm
Kaelara Sentarl vs. Cassandra Marshall
Firehawk Sentarl vs. Urani Whitemist
Rilantha De Nav vs. Shiana Sentarl
Lance Marshall vs. Tasharun
Eri Sentarl and Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright
The Phantom Thief vs. Natasha Clover for the Pacific Northwest Championship
Binak Tonorian vs. The Black Dragon for the Phoenix Rising World Championship

Luke Powers, in the middle of the Evergreen show: Luke Powers: So it's come down to this, right? Kantar, you're a certified badass, got the credentials nobody can deny. You been squashing everybody you come across. And you made my Philly brothers in blood pay a big price to step into the Evergreen ring. But that's all good. We here all got a hell of a lot of respect for you, big man. No screwing around, no funny business when it comes to Kantar, right? You get in that ring, and you take care of things.
Powers: But now you got a different challenge. You see, up until now, you fought some bad men. Some tough guys who could handle themselves, who gave you a fight, but were just not in your league. But now, you have the franchise player! You have the man who has won the PEWA Extreme title twelve times since 2006! I'm not a tag specialist, I'm not washed up old, I'm not a little midcard soccer hooligan! I'm Luke Powers! I'm the most decorated champion in PEWA history! And I'm ready to give you the fight of your life, Kantar! So you do what you do. I know this ain't gonna be easy on my end. But you better know that I'm going to drag you straight through the two one five, bust you up, run you down, like only the Powershouse can do! Win, lose or draw, I'm showing up, and showing out! You're bringing it! PEWA's got pride! Evergreen's got pride! But only one man walks away the winner here, and unlike anyone else you've faced, I've learned just what it takes to do just that. See you in the ring...and if the Mutants are around, feel free to stop by afterwards in the lot for some BBQ. It's the best in the nation. Let's roll.

Evergreen flies by as always, and the landscape continues to change week after week. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/416464126Youtube: youtu.be/9CeGzqzhTvAQuick Results eMo def. The Sheridan Brothers Ash Defiant def. Mercy Devine Haruka Matsura and Fenix Oscuro def. Rebecca Andrews and Sayaka Saito Veronika Armstrong def. Babe Ruthless El Evergringo def. Eddy Introspect Kantar def. Luke Powers Eternamente Verde def. Julian Shepard Write-ups The Sheridans continues to be in a rough patch, struggling to find their footing again. Two separate singles losses on Proving Ground, and now a tag defeat to the ladies of eMo here on Evergreen... Sookie's new look appeared to help carry her team to a big, big win. Perhaps Mercy has seen her in-ring skill slip a bit since taking over Evergreen... she gave Ash quite the brawl, though, going through a long brawl on the outside, busting Ash open with her signature fork. But the moment the match returned to the ring, a Defiant Bomb put this one away in a hurry... perhaps Mercy should've left the utensils in the back. Once again, the new team of Oscuro and Haruka worked well together, staying just one step ahead of their opponents. A big Michinoku Driver on Sayaka led to Haruka hitting her gravity-defying moonsault... and Rebecca was too occupied brawling with Oscuro to notice, thinking she had things settled. But Haruka had already picked up the win at that point... Babe Ruthless just can't catch a break. Once again, she finds herself taken out of action, this time by a Mercykiller on the outside, though Veronika shows far more remorse for the incident than Kevin Royce ever did for his own part... still, the fact remains that once again, Babe may find herself on the shelf. Evergringo continues to run a hot streak, even in singles action: he stayed focused here against Eddy Introspect, and eventually landed a huge springboard cutter that picked up the win. It was a good night for El Verde, as we'd later learn... This might've been Kantar's toughest match in Evergreen yet. Luke Powers took him to the limit, an extended brawl on the outside leading to a number of running powerbombs, and leaving the demon fighting to get back into the match for much of the rest of it. But he would not be denied... never hesitating to trade blows with the PEWA mainstay, and finally picking up the win after one of those exchanges. Looking back at the records... Kantar is ABSOLUTELY UNDEFEATED IN EVERGREEN WRESTLING. He had quite a few words after this one... and issued a personal challenge for Evergreen #10. Eternamente Verde came into this match with a vague knowledge that Julian Shepard had expressed some interest in her. She's stayed quiet about just what her relationship is with Evergringo... leading some to believe that Julian perhaps might be attempting to steal her heart. This... may not have been the way to do it. A Destino on the outside, on a pile of chairs was the highlight of an early outside brawl, but Verde held nothing back once the action returned to the ring... and a huge Reincarnation scored a surprising victory over the Evergreen Champion, making Verde the next challenger to the title... Kantar "Powers is good... damn good. But there is a definite fact that every single person in Evergreen has got to take note of... I haven't lost to a single one of you. Not the Evergreen originals, not the PEWA guys coming in, not a ONE. This is where I fucking belong... this is where I excel. That ring, that environment... it's not like Phoenix Rising, it's not like anything else in the wrestling world right now. You step into an Evergreen ring across from me... you're stepping in there with the undisputed monster of Evergreen Wrestling. I am on the winning streak of a lifetime... and I'm going to keep it rolling. PEWA, I don't doubt, wants to try and finally find the one guy that can stop me... I got all the respect in the world for your guys, now, seeing the ones I've faced. But now I want the big one. Powers was the biggest and baddest guy yet... and there's only one more way to go from him.
I want the Tiny Giant. I want Tomas, in this ring, at Evergreen #10. I want the single biggest, baddest, most psychotic HARDCORE MAN in all of Philly... so if you're willing to come out here, Tomas, I'll give you the fucking fight of your life." Verde "Let me clear any misconception... I am not some prize to be won by any of you. Evergringo is my tag partner... nothing more. And Julian Shepard... is the champion. For now. I have no interest in any sort of romance... no interest in anything of the sort. I am here for only a few reasons: to fight, to win, to claim every championship I can lay my hands on... and to spill the blood of those who stand in my way. Julian Shepard will fall at my feet when we next meet... and I will take the Evergreen Championship from his broken, bloodied form, and remind everyone just who I am."

A message from the Tiny Giant Tomas: i have heard that the red man from the green fed has beaten the people who wrestle in the same fed that tomas wrestles in. the people that i know have told tomas that they much respect the red green and say he is very good and say that he may be as good as tomas, BUT TOMAS SAYS THAT THE RED GREEN HAS NOT WON TITLES LIKE TOMAS HAS WON TITLES! tomas has been master of space and time on the wrestling of the monday night and has won the tournament of the death and has won the jacket that is colored purple and DOES NOT FIT THE FREAKISH BODY OF TOMAS AT ALL, and has been the champion of the fed of tomas, and tomas will wrestle anywhere and win everywhere, but if the red green is so good, why is he not champion of green? tomas wants to know this answer, and wants to see if the red green can wrestle against tomas to see if he is good for true or is good for nothing. BUT TOMAS KNOWS THAT HE IS READY TO TRAVEL TO THE FED OF GREEN AND TO DEFEAT THE RED GREEN TO SHOW THE POWER OF THE EXTREME IN PHILADELPHIA!
Biff Taylor: Alright, dudes, and dudettes of Evergreen, if you understood a damn word Tomas said, then we're cool, but if not, let me be your Tomas translator. My main man here heard what Kantar did to our folks. And you know, I dunno if I've ever seen my people as cool with a loss as they all seem to be, it's insane in the membrane. Kantar, it's like you're an honorary Philly dude or something, my boys and gals come back here like losing's all good and they just wanna party afterwards in the parking lot. But let me say this, one guy who's never, ever cool with losing, is the Tiny Giant right here! And he wants to take a shot at Kantar! So, Mercy, wanna make this happen? 'Cause I'm good if you're good, and if you're good, then we're good. My champ, your badass, let's book it!

Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura vs. The Rising Storm
Kaelara Sentarl vs. Cassandra Marshall
Firehawk Sentarl vs. Urani Whitemist
Rilantha De Nav vs. Shiana Sentarl
Lance Marshall vs. Tasharun
Eri Sentarl and Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright
The Phantom Thief vs. Natasha Clover for the Pacific Northwest Championship
Binak Tonorian vs. The Black Dragon for the Phoenix Rising World Championship Adrenaline Rush has definitely had a tough time since arriving in Phoenix Rising. They'll compete in singles matches this week, looking to move up the Pacific Northwest Championship rankings... Nic Nitro will kick things off, taking on the powerhouse that is Telan Kintelas, and it's definitely not going to be an easy one... Telan's been tough to keep down, even as he hasn't been the best of the best as of late. Blake Dynamite could have more trouble on his hands than expected... Angel Leblanc is dangerous, make no mistake, and she's got her eyes on gold... the tag titles and the Pacific Northwest Championship both. For now, she'll seek to raise her standing in the rankings... a win here would shoot her up VERY close to the front of the line, and send Blake almost to the very back. Tommy Thunder, the other half of Adrenaline Rush, will have just as tough a test as his tag partner. Sophia Moretti has looked much tougher as of late, and it's going to take some serious skill to get past the Italian... still, it'd move Tommy up the ranks a fair bit with a win. Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura are slowly but surely becoming a very, very dangerous team... formed just weeks ago, they already appear like a well-oiled machine, and have taken on challengers in both Phoenix Rising and Evergreen. But they now have to face one of the premier tag teams in Phoenix Rising... the Rising Storm won't be pushovers. Kaelara Sentarl will be seeking to bounce back from a shocking defeat at the hands of Natasha Clover two weeks ago, losing the Pacific Northwest Championship in her first defense since the change. She'll have to take on Cassandra Marshall, however... and the young Texan has been building up steam, and cemented herself as one of the best in the division, securing the #3 ranking behind only #1 contender Phantom Thief, and Les Beautes Blondes member Michelle Rochefort. Kaelara wants her title back, though... and she's lucky enough to have been placed into the ranking league rather than being shoved to the back of the line... it won't mean a thing if she can't beat Cassandra, though. Firehawk Sentarl has had a tumultuous singles career in Phoenix Rising. Always close to the top but never quite reaching it, he seems determined to go on that one final run before calling it quits... and it could very well start here against Urani Whitemist. It won't be easy, though... Urani has been perhaps one of the single most dominant people in all of Phoenix Rising, and this could turn into one hell of a brawl before it's all said and done. Two seasoned veterans square off here, in a matchup that somehow has never happened in Phoenix Rising. Shiana Sentarl will finally cross paths with Rilantha De Nav... and what more can really be said, here? There's no telling just how this one might go... but one thing's for sure, it could set the stage for the future of the World Championship. Old rivals clash once again... Lance Marshall takes on the man for which he named the Demonkiller powerbomb, Tasharun, and once again it's certain to be an all-out war that shows everything that both men are capable of. Lance has proven time and again he's more than capable of bringing down the demon... but Tasharun has never gone out lightly, and he certainly won't start now. A surprising opportunity for a fledgling team: Eri Sentarl and Queen Anne, only recently becoming a team, are getting a chance to face off with the tag team champions in Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright. Once again, Kileas finds himself across the ring from a Sentarl... an opportunity that until recently, seemed highly unlikely. But yet, here we are... could Eri and Listalva shock the world and pick up the colossal upset? The Phantom Thief stormed through the ranking league for the Pacific Northwest Championship, and became the #1 contender for the title... and now, he gets his opportunity as Natasha Clover's first title defense. The title will be defended on EVERY Showdown... on nights where a World Championship match doesn't occur, it'll main event the show, but tonight, it will be the penultimate match instead. Natasha seems determined not to let the title slip through her grasp so soon... but which version of the Phantom Thief will she be facing? This is a match that the Black Dragon has been trying to get away from. Once again she finds herself stepping into the ring with the giant, Binak Tonorian, and this time, her World Championship is on the line... even with Binak swearing he'd abandoned the pursuit of championships in the past, he seems determined to bring the Dragon back down to earth, and finally puncture her ego once and for all. Can the Dragon finally overcome this overwhelming challenge? Or will we have a new World Champion for the first time since last October?

Landmark show tonight... there was a lot going on, what with the new rankings in place, and whatnot. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/418317342Youtube: youtu.be/5OSwBi-3oO0Quick Results #5 Telan Kintelas def. #14 Nic Nitro #4 Blake Dynamite def. #17 Angel Leblanc #13 Sophia Moretti def. #18 Tommy Thunder Fenix Oscuro and Haruka Matsura def. The Rising Storm #3 Cassandra Marshall def. #16 Kaelara Sentarl Urani Whitemist def. Firehawk Sentarl Rilantha De Nav def. Shiana Sentarl Tasharun def. Lance Marshall Eri Sentarl and Listalva Anne Heyward def. Kileas Kintelas and Winifred Wright Natasha Clover def. The Phantom Thief to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship The Black Dragon def. Binak Tonorian to retain the Phoenix Rising World Championship Write-ups A hot opener that showed off much more of Nic Nitro's skills than previous weeks... fiercely competitive, but Telan would not be denied here, bringing his power game to bear and keeping Nitro firmly in the bottom half of the PNW rankings. Angel just couldn't get things going here against the hotshot, and Blake pretty well ran over her. Rough night for Angel, but her tag partner is in line for the Pacific Northwest Championship soon... A hard-fought match without a doubt... Thunder didn't hesitate to take the fight to Sophia, but the Italian was in no mood to be put down tonight, roaring back into the match with Eternal Night, and securing a tapout after a major struggle. This is no thrown-together team... not anymore. Oscuro and Haruka have taken the tag divisions of both Showdown and Evergreen by storm, and could very well find themselves at the top of both before long... a major victory, and a convincing one at that, over the Rising Storm makes them a definite force to be reckoned with. Once again, though, it's Anahera that finds herself taking the fall... is there something wrong with the team that was once the best in Phoenix Rising? Kaelara Sentarl seems to find herself in a sudden slump. Two weeks after losing the Pacific Northwest Championship to Natasha Clover, she found herself face-to-face with the fiercest Texan in Phoenix Rising... and Cassandra didn't let up for a second, forcing Kaelara to step up if she didn't want to be left behind. It still wasn't enough, though, and after the two had traded nearly every big move in their arsenals, Cassandra locked the former champion into her painful Cloverleaf, and forced the young Sentarl to tap out. Once again, it was a story of "not quite enough" for Firehawk. A fierce effort proved just barely not enough... the Titan would not be denied, and an Ushi-goroshi sealed the deal, with Urani Whitemist once again standing tall. A first-time-ever match in Phoenix Rising... and this time, the match went in Ril's favor. While both women were on top of their games, seeing every move the other had planned, Ril just seemed to outlast Shiana, and eventually snapped the Queen up in her signature flash pin to pick up a big win. Ril could be setting herself up for a big run towards the top... The long-time rivalry erupted again tonight... and this time, Tasharun was the one that struck a blow, avoiding the most dangerous parts of Lance's moveset en route to landing a crushing Spear that scored the win after a long, brutal matchup. Upset of the night, and maybe one of the best matches of the night. Eri and Listalva still seem to be working a few things out in their team, but there is no doubt that the two have talent and chemistry, keeping the tag team champions guessing right up until the end. Eri scored a sudden, shocking victory here as she caught Winifred Wright in a backslide counter, and Listalva ran interference, the fledgling team picking up a win over the champions... and setting them up for a championship rematch! Natasha Clover won the Pacific Northwest Championship completely on her own. No interference, no games... just her fists and her skills. That was not the case tonight. It seems now that Natasha is the champion, she'll do anything to keep it... and that includes having Todd Colton in her corner to do his part. Todd made his presence felt a few times in this match... distracting referee Emma Travers on two different occasions when Natasha was in trouble, and giving her the chance to come back. The Thief shrugged off an explosive Spear... only for Natasha to land her old rival's massive kick, and locked the challenger in her full nelson camel clutch, picking up a major submission victory, and remaining the Pacific Northwest Champion. The story's been a simple one: Binak stood as the man who would temper the Dragon's ego, and if the World Champion wanted to overcome the challenge of the giant, she would need to find some way to be even stronger when they next met. The Black Dragon found that strength tonight. Taking everything that Binak had to throw at her, she showed off her unnatural strength, throwing Binak around even more than she could've managed in her previous attempts... and ultimately, after an exchange of huge power moves, landed her signature reverse chokeslam, and pinned the giant... remaining the World Champion yet again. Is there truly anyone that can stop the Black Dragon when she's defending the prize she holds so dear? Is there truly no way to stop the World Champion? The Black Dragon "Nothing matters... but this title." The Dragon has the World Championship over her shoulder, one hand resting over it, her attention firmly on the title. "The one... single belt I have in my possession... the championship I have held for months, now, the gold that shows the world that I am the best... that I am nothing short of the best in Phoenix Rising, and that there is no one, NO ONE, that can take this from me. Giant, demon, Titan, it doesn't matter. Friend or foe... from within... or an outsider. If you want this championship... you will have to pry it from my lifeless hands. If you want to become the Phoenix Rising World Champion... you had better be prepared to do whatever it takes. Because unless I am broken and left for dead... I will still fight, and I will WIN.
See what I did to a giant tonight. Witness what I've done to so many other challengers... and now, imagine what I will do when I have the chance to face Nishimura Endo for the championship he holds. My loyalties lie with very few... to Urani. To Laenara. And... to a certain extent... to one Midas Matthews, now. Make no mistake, though... you haven't secured true loyalty. Not yet. I've been given an opportunity because of you. I've been given the chance to add to the hoard and once again be the dragon I truly am. But it takes more than that to earn my trust, Midas... I will do what I do best when I meet Nishimura Endo. And that is all." Natasha Clover "So, get this... I get pulled aside by Mr. Phantom Thief before the match, and he's warning me. Says that if I don't change my ways, he'll change it for me. How'd that work out for you, jackass? Yeah, you hit your friggin' Change of Heart thing on me, but it didn't do shit. There's not a damn thing you can do to me... I'm a champion. I've got a boyfriend that has my back no matter what. I'm the Devil Hand, these arms are super-fucking-human, and still LOOK at the fact that I didn't need 'em to beat your ass! I don't intend on changing who I am... and you, bucko, aren't gonna force anything. I am who I am... and no masked loser like you is ever gonna change that."

So, simple fact: shows lately have been getting bloated. I don't think anyone cares to sit around for more than two hours for this stuff (I know, some people do every week and I appreciate you guys, seriously!) Fact is, though, on a Monday night, with me usually going into work Tuesday morning, I need that extra time in the night so I have time to shower, get a decent night's sleep (which sometimes still doesn't happen anyway oops) and all of that. Going forward, there won't be any more pre-show. The entire purpose of it is kind of... pointless? It really no longer matters at this point. I'll be repurposing the pre-show referee for some other purpose, possibly making her Showdown's new tag specialist referee and moving Emma Travers to a "special occasion" ref, or something like that. With all of this said, here's the card for the upcoming Proving Ground #33. The Excellent Blades vs. Winter Fresh
Jennifer Phoenix vs. La Relampaga
Avian Assassins vs. Team Proving Ground (Argent/Kyle)
SATOMI vs. Candace Monroe
The Muscle Machines vs. El Verde, Evergreen Rules
Titania vs. Felice Santana
Elly Blackwood vs. Kevin Royce
Main Event: Todd Colton and Natasha Clover vs. Victor Kintelas and Kellaron Sentarl for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships
A touch tag-heavy this week: we kick things off with the Excellent Blades back in action to take on the high-flying Winter Fresh. Rin and Fresh have been up and down lately, while the Blades seem just on the verge of their breakout moment... but have they left the Limbtakers behind? With RNA still away, Candace Monroe has been unable to take on the dangerous team by herself, losing last week to Nicole Blade one-on-one.
Jennifer Phoenix seems determined not to be forgotten... she'll be taking on quite the opponent this week as she steps into the ring with La Relampaga, who's met with mixed success in her early Proving Ground career. Still, this match will play to her strengths... both these women are capable of flying high, and it'll be a matter of just who flies higher.
Team Proving Ground is still here! Kyle Anderson seemingly turned away from the team some time ago, but finally steps back in to team up with Argent as they square off with the Avian Assassins. Could this be the catalyst that makes everything click for Kyle?
SATOMI seems to be on track to become one of Proving Ground's top stars early on... but now she's got perhaps one of the toughest matches she's faced yet, as she takes on perennial favorite Candace Monroe. But with Candace's focus having been on the Blades for weeks, now, does the Australian have the focus she needs to take down the Japanese newcomer? Strikes will fly, no doubt... and Candace will want to neutralize those dangerous kicks right away.
The Muscle Machines are getting their rematch against El Verde right away... after losing under normal tag rules, El Verde are now flipping the script and facing the duo in an Evergreen Rules tag match. No countouts... no rope breaks... no DQ, and no tagging out... it's tornado chaos, and it won't let up for a second.
Felice Santana has been one of Proving Ground's best for quite some time... but this could be one of the most dangerous opponents she's ever faced. Titania has been a force of nature since her shaky debut, and once again she finds herself in the ring with a smaller, high-flying opponent... can Felice stay a step ahead of Titania?
Elly Blackwood is, to put things lightly, not happy with Kevin Royce. She accepted the two-on-one last week, and it cost her, with Kevin and Jennifer Phoenix taking down the Invincible one... but her attention is directed firmly at Kevin, and perhaps the referee from last week, Miyako Kita. There's no controversy here, though: Elly didn't tap out, she passed out in Kevin's Iron Claw, and now she wants vengeance right away.
The Pacific Northwest Champion wants more gold to rest on her shoulders... and the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships are just the titles Natasha Clover has her heart set on. Alongside Todd Colton, Natasha seeks to become the first person to hold titles on both shows simultaneously... but Victor and Kellaron aren't likely to give up easily, and could send the champion packing. Natasha has been told in no uncertain terms: if her team loses this match, it will be her last match on Proving Ground.

Titania "I've been asked about my last few matches... lately people are apparently wondering why every opponent I've faced besides my debut has been cut from the same cloth. Small, agile, high-flyers... and that continues this week as I take on Felice Santana. Do you really want to know the truth? The reason I've targeted them? Because I assure you, this is no accident... no mistake.
I am the strongest woman on Proving Ground. The best of the best. I possess a raw power that nobody else can claim... a strength that nobody else can match. It's what I excel at... destroying everything in my path, and I've started with my opposites, the ones who treat their bodies like a pinball as they fly around the ring.
But what happens when you can't run anymore? When I finally get my hands on you? And mark my words, it happens... every single time. You can't escape forever, and the moment you make that one mistake... I've already driven you through the canvas. By the time I'm done, I'll have wiped out every single one... every 'ninja', every luchadora, every single woman that thinks they can measure up in a challenge of speed against power.
Felice Santana will just be the next in a long line of those I've destroyed." SATOMI <Candace Monroe... I've been watching you. My eyes have been on the Limbtakers since before I arrived, and you've had my attention for a lot of that time. A talented striker, a gifted submission expert... you and I are awfully similar, in a lot of ways. But there's a big difference between the two of us... I'm willing to go the extra length that you clearly never have been. You have no killer instinct. You lack the vicious streak that you need to survive. I'll prove that to you personally this week. As gifted as you may be, in so many ways, you don't have what it takes to stand against me.> Victor and Kellaron "Y'know, there's a lot to be said about just how far these two have come. One of 'em was part of a tag team that never won a single match... broke out, made a name for themselves, and now happens to be a champion." Victor glances over to his partner, and Kellaron takes over.
"The other was seen as a total joke... for months on end. Couldn't put anything together, until finally... he found the right partner and everything fell right into place." Kellaron stares directly into the camera. "Fact is, there's a lot of parallel between your team and ours. All of us spent time directionless. Drifting, trying to find our way. The difference, though, is that we're the ones that are going to come away the winners here. We didn't take down the most dominant team in Proving Ground history just to wind up dropping this prize to you. We didn't fight for so long just to falter now. You're not just facing the tag team champions... you're facing the Top Prospect, you're facing the future of Phoenix Rising, and you're going to regret making this challenge before long."
"So just remember how much we've given to be here today. How far we've come, how hard it's been to get to this point. Todd Colton... Natasha Clover. We'll make damn sure you learn how far out of your league you really are."

Felice Felice Santana: Titania, you're very impressive. Everyone talks about how strong and powerful you are. And you are very strong and very powerful! I'm really looking forward to meeting you in the ring. But the difference between you and between me is that you want to destroy everyone who isn't like you. You want to crush high fliers to make yourself look good. But I'm not gonna play that game! I don't want to make you look bad by running circles around you! I don't want to mess you up with a big Santana Sky or the Dreaded Double Lotation! Do I want to beat you? Of course! But I like facing everyone who's not like me! It's fun to fight big powerful opponents, mat wrestlers, roughnecks, that's the wonderful part of wrestling, it's not just one style! I want to have great matches and I want to face great opponents of every style, and I want them to look great even when I beat them! That makes me look good when I win, and if I do great if I lose, it makes you look stronger, too! And I hope you're ready not just to destroy me, but to entertain the fans and put on the best match we can have!
Muscle Machines Gary Gear: Ugh, those green goofs again. Makes me want to eat more arugula smoothies and mix in more special ingredients so I can break them even worse!
Adonis Avery Alexander: They think they have the advantage here. They think they can isolate us, play their game, bust us open, wear out your pathetic little gas tank...
Gary: Hey!
AAA: But they don't realize that this makes it even worse. For them. Because we're both in play the whole time now. No pinning me with some stupid move three fourths of the ring away while you stumble through the ropes and sluggishly try to stomp over to make a save...
Gary: Come on!
AAA: None of that this time. Because this time, I'll make it my goal to demonstrate the entire match why I am the Pinnacle of Peak Perfection and...
Gary: I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO FEAR GARY GEAR! YEAH!
Ruthless Nicole Alger, Dangerous Nicholas Alger and Thiago Gracie This particular clip can be seen originating from the Beltway Full Contact Martial Arts Center, the home of the UCSS and the Senatorial Office. Formerly a janitorial closet, the head office of the UCSS and Commissioner Dangerous Nicholas Alger currently is quite crowded, hosting Alger, at his undersized desk, along with his daughter Ruthless Nicole Alger and former UCSS Openweight champ, Thiago Gracie.
Dangerous Nicholas Alger: So you're sure you're good. You overcame. Defeated it.
Thiago Gracie: Yes, very sure, is good, is done. We train hard, make sure Ruthless is controlled switch. Turn on, turn off, very good.
DNA: Well, in that case, then I thank you again, Thiago, ol' buddy. No matter how screwed up things are getting here in the Office with all this Midas BS. It's still good to have friends I can trust.
Thiago: No worry for thank.
DNA: You know better. You did my daughter a big favor. Made her ready. All that training paid off, finding that right balance between the Ruthless side and not losing your head in the process. And because of that, she's off my unofficial suspension.
Ruthless Nicole Alger: And what that means, is that I'm back in action. Next time around, Proving Ground, everybody better be ready. Because the Limbtakers are going to take no prisoners. Just your arms, or your legs. Whatever we can get a hold of. And I know Candace has kicked some major ass while I've been out. Done some damage. Proved why she's as good as anyone. Singles, tag, whatever. But I'm coming back, and I'm gonna shake things up, too, now. Come get some!

Felice, Post Show Felice Santana: That's right! I wasn't just all talk! You and I put on a show, Titania, and you know, those powerbombs really did hurt, but all I could think about was how you talked like I wasn't even a challenge for you, and when I could have just, like, lost the match right there, I got really ticked off! And I mean, I don't get mad like that too easy, but it's like, you can't just tell a girl that she's nothing like you tried to do! So I showed you that I'm not weak! I'm not just a pinball! I'm not just your little tiny obstacle to step over! I'm a proud Santana, wrestling in the Santana style, and I just want to make my family proud! And I hope they all saw what I did, because that's the pride that my granddaddy and my daddy, and my brother and my uncle and everyone all trained into me! That's the pride of someone who doesn't quit when it gets really tough! That's what it takes to win, and if I can just, like believe in myself, I can do that again and again and win anything I try to win! But it's not like I think I'm, you know, always gonna win like that, but I just want to say that I'm glad you made me mad, Titania, because that made me really better, that's why I love facing people like you!

Suffice to say the cutting down of the card was a major success, as tonight's show clocked in closer to 90 minutes. Not to say I wanna give people less, but condensing things down has definitely helped the pacing and the fatigue of things dragging along. Great stuff tonight. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/421505070Youtube: youtu.be/PBdTJ6oWSb4Quick Results The Excellent Blades def. Winter Fresh La Relampaga def. Jennifer Phoenix The Avian Assassins def. Team Proving Ground SATOMI def. Candace Monroe The Muscle Machines def. El Verde under Evergreen Rules Felice Santana def. Titania Kevin Royce def. Elly Blackwood Victor Kintelas and Kellaron Sentarl def. Todd Colton and Natasha Clover to retain the Proving Ground Tag Team Championship Write-ups A hot opener as usual, with Winter Fresh coming out swinging, bringing their usual quick, high-flying style towards the Blades. But Nicole's power, and Donna's technique, eventually seemed to turn the tide... and an O'Connor German from Donna sealed this one and continued the Blades' momentum. Phoenix did all she could to keep the luchadora down... but Relampaga just wouldn't stop coming. The Lightning Luchadora continues to impress week after week... picking up another solid win here tonight. Despite the obvious strength difference, the Avian Assassins turned the tide late in this one, eventually outpacing Argent and Kyle en route to another much-needed victory, one that could see them in the discussion for a shot at the tag titles once again, soon enough. This match was every bit as hard-hitting as expected. Both women traded strikes back and forth the entire way, with Candace trying to wear down SATOMI's legs... a late Gotch-style piledriver nearly sealed the win for the young Australian, only for SATOMI to power out of it, delivering a series of vicious kicks, and locking Candace in her own submission hold to force the tapout. SATOMI's impressive run continues... who can stop her now? The Machines made good on their threats here... flat-out overpowering El Verde. While Evergringo was trying to deal with Gear, Alexander had already landed a Pinnacle Dropkick on Verde, and even as Evergringo soared through the air to land a diving headbutt on Gear, the referee had already counted them out... and once again, the Machines come away with a well-earned win, evening the score with the Evergreen team. Felice Santana more than backed up her words tonight. Refusing to let Titania overwhelm her, she stayed in this one for the entire length... and late in the match, seemed to find another gear beyond what she's ever shown before, landing the Santana Sky twice in quick succession, landing Double Lotation Moonsaults with reckless abandon, and eventually landing another Santana Sky that scored perhaps the most shocking upset in months... Felice Santana picks up perhaps the win of her career! A furious Elly Blackwood wanted Kevin Royce's head on a platter for his role in her defeat in the open challenge two weeks ago... and Kevin was happy to give her the opportunity. But the night didn't go anything like what Elly planned... first being busted open early in the match, struggling through that for most of the night, and while she continued to bring her dangerous armwork to bear and nearly took the match off of a crushing Tiger Suplex, Kevin would get the last laugh... landing his signature chokebomb, slamming Elly head-first onto a discarded chair, and knocking the Invincible One out cold entirely. No word yet on Elly's condition, but early news seems to suggest that she'll be missing some time. For all the bluster, all the bravado, everything that Todd and Natasha showed leading up to this match... Victor and Kellaron were there to show them just why they were the tag team champions in the first place. Natasha tried to keep the champions grounded with copious abuse of low-blows, but Victor never let up for a second... and Todd was almost a complete non-factor here. It was Kellaron, though, that won this one with a huge running knee... and unlike in previous matches where he never got up to full speed, this time, he managed to get a full running start and wiped Todd out to pick up the win. Titania "You might deserve a bit more respect than the rest... the smallest, most reckless of the bunch. Perhaps I overlooked you. Looked past you for your size. But mark my words, Felice... you played your hand. I won't be caught off guard a second time. There's one other person I have my sights set on... and once I've dealt with them... I'll be coming to take you down properly. For now, though... La Relampaga... I've had my eye on you from the start, and no matter what happened tonight, I will come after you next." Kevin Royce "Don't talk to me about revenge, kid. You lost a match you had no business winning and you wanted revenge on me for that? You got what you deserved. You're arrogant, kid... too cocky for your own damn good. So maybe some time on the shelf... maybe I'm doing you a favor. Because you don't know a goddamn thing about revenge. You lie in a fucking hospital bed for a while and think about that. Think about the mistake you made calling me out. And next time... do yourself the favor and don't fuck with me." SATOMI <I have to show my respect to you, Candace. For as much as I was right about you... still, you were better than expected. You aren't on my level... but you are closer than I first thought. Reunite with your friend... return to your team. Perhaps one day you'll be my equal... but for now, you, your returning partner, every single woman on Proving Ground... not a single one of you is on my level. Not a single one of you has what it takes against me. The Inspire Championship will soon be around my waist, and I will show every last one of you that the best you will ever be able to hope for is second-best. And don't think I didn't notice tonight, Titania... you can make every claim you want about who you are, but the fact remains: you lost to Felice Santana. I won't.> Victor and Kellaron "Doesn't get simpler than that..." Victor shrugs, his tag title slung over his shoulder... neither man seems particularly winded after their title match. "Look... I'm not in the business of going out there and making people look bad. But for you and Todd... a lesson needed to be taught. Fact is, you don't belong here, Natasha... you've got your own career to worry about. So keep your eyes on Showdown, on defending the title you've already got... before it slips through your fingers."
"As for you, Todd..." Kellaron has his title sitting on the bench beside him. "You're welcome to take another shot at me if you want another taste of that knee that put you down. No guarantees, though... I got plenty of ways to make sure you regret taking us on for months to come. And that goes for the entire tag division... doesn't matter who you are, we'll take on anyone, everyone, and make sure these titles stay put."
