The Debasement Tour officially begins with "Debased 1" This is a show that was officially held and taped on March 18th but posted (late) today! ogubl.proboards.com/thread/956/debased-march-18-2019This show features these three matches: Sirius Mask vs. Kazuo Saji JET Hamada/Barton Miller vs. Watanabe Kais Universal Circuit Championship: Tsaoring Chou vs. Tetsu Gushiken (c) We also have a promo from World Heavyweight Champion Corey O'Brian and a long awaited confrontation between Robin "Holly" Walker and Ruby Moreno!! It's been 3 months since "Lunar Eclipse" and a lot of story lines are starting fresh for the next year or so. From here on out, until the tour finale show, I'm going to use a shorter and quicker format. I also went with three different formats for the matches: video, just text, and text with pictures. Any feedback is appreciated :) |

also, loved Business Suit Geese, the 'low stakes' line... actually all of Holly's lines.

"Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean the world isn't really out to get you!" 😁 Corey has a good point about not being able to trust someone who betrayed his allies. Although you gotta give credit to Joachim for not actually attacking Matt or Ruby and challenging them to their faces. And I think Joachim will have his own tale to spin in regards to who in Destiny betrayed who. Ruby: "Yawn, I'm sure the fans will enjoy taking a shot every time he says "path." also, loved Business Suit Geese, the 'low stakes' line... actually all of Holly's lines. Thank!! The Business Suit Geese story has been in the making for like two years now actually! I have a lot planned for that. And yeah, that was my favorite Holly line too! I loved writing for her again. The two characters I miss writing regularly for the most are Holly and Jean Carter. It's nice to have them back in the fold. Holly has a lot of fire right now but I think her promo worked because she wasn't just angry at Ruby for attempting to cripple Geese, she was also mocking Ruby and Matt for not being able to do it. As much as a "straight revenge fire" Holly would be fun, I feel like I already did that angle with Kyle. "Jinchuu Holly" just isn't Holly. She needs some rhetorical high ground here to operate even if she's angry and the deck is stacked against her in some ways. Facing Ruby, the superior wrestler, in Ruby's OG-Joshi won't be easy. Holly: "Ha, like it would be fun if it was! Bring it on!" P.S. I still say the BEST line in the entire show is Xander's "sects change." line 😁 |

LOL, that is exactly where I was going with that 😁 UBL towels are selling like hotcakes in Fire Promoter and a suddenly, inexplicably new businessman like Geese wants to leverage that success into...uh, many K's! I really want to see how this goes.

LOL I literally forgot the name of the building I had given it when the Mills Tribune took it over (after buying it from Geese before he retired) and started running Prestige Wrestling. I had to recall that weird "swerve" show I did a few years back to see that the Mills family renamed the arena the "Prestigio." But no one in ubble acknowledges that ridiculous name so they keep calling it "the building we used to call Peter Venkman" and Thomas Mills Sr. doesn't protest cause he continues making a fortune on the UBL shows running there compared to the Prestige ones that were like Year 1 Fire Promoter shows in terms of attendance/merchandise sales! And yeah, I have some fun plans for this Business Geese story 📰😎💼 |

For those into some of the esoteric buildup of the Walker family vs. Destiny rivalry, this is for you. "Compound Fracture" - Part 1. I originally wrote that RP four years ago but dropped it because I didn't know if I'd seriously pursue the Destiny story further. But after Geese's return from retirement, a resurgence in the Destiny offensive, and Joachim's return, now is the time to finally tell this "in between" part of the story. However, before you read this, you should really read the "Omega's Alpha" RP to refresh your memory (or see for the first time) since that RP occurred a few days before the events now revealed in "Compound Fracture." There will be one more RP (the second half of "Compound Fracture") that follows this one and explains things like why Geese felt comfortable returning and why everyone thought Destiny had finally been defeated. |

After some much needed time in the void, I'm back with some ubble updates! 1) During my absence, October Raven posted a great RP for Corey O'Brian called "Never Trust a Scorpion."Honestly, I could read a whole novel just based around your "Mitsuuroko" strategy talk. Reminds me of the excellent Corey RP discussing the Mushashi/Kojiro duel on Ganryujima! (which I'll have you know that I always think about whenever I updated RYOMA's edit) I love that. I feel like, if circumstances were different and Geese Walker wasn't an asshole for most of his career, he and Corey would have gotten along really well. Love the cost/benefit analysis 💡 Really nice touch there showing how Moreno keeps him and his friends under surveillance. Great RP to lead right into the main event on the upcoming show! 2) I'm 2/3rds done with the June "Debased" event and expect it to be posted by the end of the month 😎 |
