I'm having a lot of fun writing Robin so emotionally raw and honest about everything without having the "Holly" persona to lean on to escape reality/repercussions.  There's still some "Holly" in there for banter but it's not driving her actions anymore. She's trying to find a sense of balance, much like Geese is in some ways, between the parts she wants to keep from her past and who she wants to be now.

This program with Kathy is perfect for her for so many reasons. It's testing her commitment to truly be a better person, teaching her how, and pushing her to want to be a better wrestler and competitor.

This has been coming for a while, I think, and just needed the right time. Lina's feelings echo my own - OG-Joshi Lina from '08-'11 was one of my favorite runs of hers, and whatever she ends up doing now, it has a lot to live up to and I hope she's up to the task. I also hope people will enjoy the other SWA wrestlers Lina 's rounded up to give OGJ a try. She's underestimating herself though - I have faith that Lina and the posse of hungry, ambitious women she's bringing with her will help make OG-Joshi as exciting as ever.

That conveys the range of my emotions quite well too! 😄





Lina was one of the OG-Joshi wrestlers who had the most momentum going into 2010.  I actually went back to read the "non-canon" show where she and Eris won the Tag Titles. We all spent so long talking about that and it was so frustrating to me that I had to end things before it actually happened.  The Lina/Eris story was so hot at that point and I was looking forward to bringing them both to Voltage in a revolutionary angle.

Then things ended.  To most of you, it probably came out of nowhere.  From my perspective, it really hurt ending OG-J/UBL in 2011 and I truly appreciated everyone understanding that I had to at that time. But I see a promo like this and it all comes back...but in a good way. I fully get how you and Lina  felt about OG-J ending too. I already know how Jean felt, and that was probably the character of mine who took it the hardest. (I still remember writing that promo where she and Luke closed the office to her door for the last time.) Seeing Lina's reaction to her time in the OG-J and her feelings about this new run definitely resonated with me for so many reasons.

The fact is that the return of OG-Joshi is a LOT to live up to for me and I really hope I'm up for the task, especially after the past two years.  I was so excited to re-introduce it in late 2019 with that angle where MJC tricked Ruby. I was really excited to bring it back. Then everything paused and I felt super uneasy and disappointed that I had this false re-start to OG-Joshi and almost a comical pause to the huge double-stream UBL project.  I hated that I enthusiastically shined the OG-J signal, got people's hopes up, and dropped the ball so badly. I mean, even without factoring in "changes to the world", I probably bit off more than I could chew by bringing back OG-J and doubling my UBL workload.  But I never believed that things would go full tumbleweed halfway into 2020.  Bringing OG-J back was a huge deal for me and it sucks that I botched it so badly for the first two years of its return. I was worried that I killed all the initial momentum.  So making up for that, and truly running it as a functional fed for me, is a lot to live up to.

And I appreciate everyone's patience and sustained excitement. Every time I'd hint that I was getting started with it again, you guys would be super into it. This current momentum feels nice. We got promos going, shows being booked and produced, rivalries being figured out, and a general sense of enthusiasm for OG-Joshi in the past and present. I'm going to do all I can to keep things going on my end with shows and characters.

Literally the night after I posted Continuum IV, I started work on the next ASFS event. I have some decisions to make as to how deep I go with it - since I think the first ASFS went a little too long. But I can say the show is definitely being produced as we speak and my goal is to get it out by mid March so I can then finish Continuum V and have "Spring Fling" done by late April. Gotta keep things moving 😎

I really hope as we start to get closer that we start to hear from other OGJ old-schoolers. I've been looking over the roster and just can't wait to hear from Eris Byrne and Gutter, for instance, about what they've been up to the last ten years. I have to admit at least part of my motive in posting this now is to try to stir up others so we can start building hype. I'm sad to see some of Lina's other old OGJ buddies no longer on the roster, but I'm also excited for these newer characters I don't know to show up and get thrown into the mix as well.

I'm also kind of hoping after I do the International Joshi Summit in SWA in March that Geese sees fit to take one of those young girls under his... uh... wing for the EMERGE roster.

Wow, if I didn't know any better, I would think it's 2008 around here! 😭

Incredible energy, enthusiasm, and promos flying left and right! And a new one just hit today!

Corey O'Brian absolutely levels Charles Langford with some bitter truths about his place in the block and promotion.  Jasper gets a harsh realization thrown his way. Corey also has some time left to talk up a young wrestler who some may consider the Block C dark horse.  Super hot promo here!  With all the OG-Joshi buzz, I'm reminded I also have a Continuum to react to! 😄


Oh and last night I wrote like 1/2 of the next ASFS show.  The energy here is getting me pumped!

Yeah that return was absolute fire 🔥 It was an awesome rallying call and character introspective. I loved every bit of it and I love the reaction that it is getting right now 😄




I'm going to have some of my midcarders pop back up in the future to let people know what's been going on. Keina chimed in during the Fall but we need to hear from Tigress Mask II (aka Naomi), Yoshi Hattori (elimininja fever!), and a few others that I intend on bringing back.

Sadly, the community lost a lot of the handlers who were on the Amplitude roster. Some of the Voltage handlers are still in the community but have just gotten much busier. I'm still in contact with Moto and let him know in 2019 that OG-J was coming back but he had too much going on. Dhalsimrocks is not completely out of contact but I haven't seen him around as much. He does have an account here. Sadly, I have no idea where Twinky is 😔

DK - do you know where Studentie is? Do you still talk to him? Any chance we can lure Figaro back by having Kim Cross return? 😂




I have rolling admissions into the EMERGE roster feeder system. And I can imagine that the winner of the EMERGE tournament may graduate onto the Amplitude roster by early next year which will clear a slot.

I will be keeping a close eye on the Summit!





"Very soon" is a chilling timeline for adversaries cause it's like - "Ok, is that next Wednesday or should I just keep the month open. I'm vaguely nervous which is the worst kind of nervous!" 😄

Eris vs. Lina is one of the all time best rivalries in OG-Joshi and I can't wait to see it occur on Voltage. I think back to the HHH vs. Rock rivalries for the IC title and how that made the stories even richer during their rivalries for the World Title. I feel like we have that established with those two 😎
