They're pretty much one long animation. I can do some stuff like change the speed, but it will not change the animation...so even if I make them walk faster, they will never look like they are running. Walking around the ring is a pipedream, there's not anything in the code that tells the AI how to do that, and I'm not good enough with the pathfinding to do it myself. Actually, a slightly slower entrance walk would be cool as hell....is that something that could be set separately for different guys? Even if not, being able to slow everybody down by like, 10-20 percent would go a long way towards making the entrances a little more impactful in general.
If that's possible, having an option on the user's end to modify the walk speed to whatever they feel makes sense would be freakin' cool.

Would it be possible to make custom attire pieces for the chest/waist that reflect a wrestler holding the title over their shoulder?

Oh, also, this is a bit far-fetched, but would it be possible at all to have a wrestler come to the ring with a weapon in their hand?

I was always curious if it would even be theoretically possible to get some amount of damage to carry over in a tournament. It is a minor thing but it is the one small detail I always wished the games would address. I thought this already happened? In the later rounds of my tournaments guys get beat in under 5 minutes...

Yea you are correct i thing there is a small boost in between rounds but not back up to 100%

Carl, would it be possible for a mod to disregard the damage bonuses (and possibly whatever other bonuses their may be) for the different size wrestlers? I've always thought it was weird that just because a dude may be small, that he doesn't do the same damage as a guy that is large/giant.. Isn't that what parameters are for? I believe the scale for the size differences are: -4 = 84% -3 = 87.5% -2 = 92% -1 = 96% 0 = 100% +1 = 104% +2 = 108% +3 = 112.5% +4 = 116% It would be great if this was packaged with one that allowed "Giant" to apply to a wrestler regardless of height. Yokozuna NEEDS to have Giant return style.

Yokozuna NEEDS to have Giant return style. This, WAY more than the damage bonuses for me. The damage difference between sizes can be compensated for, the "can't be slammed" aspect of a Giant/Giant G-sized wrestler cannot be.
There has to be a way to trick this game into thinking M- or L-sized (or S, I guess, although I don't know many guys offhand that would use it) guys are G-sized.
Could the counter rates for G-size (specifically with Giant/Giant styles) be copied over the counter rates for M and L size? They might not get some of the other effects (damage, tiring quicker, etc) but it would stop people from picking them up. And those other effects can be compensated for.

Sure they could...but it would be a universal effect.
Since the counter rates aren't meant to change, they are not calculated for each wrestler, but rather pulled from a static table that is the same for all wrestlers. Changes to that table effect EVERYONE in the match, not just the wrestlers you want to suddenly benefit from G size counter rates.

Aren't they calculated separately for each fight style/return style combination, though? Like, would editing the counter table for Giant/Giant guys affect a Power/Power guy or a Junior/Lucha guy, etc?

I recall that there's a mod that lets you edit counters for individual wrestlers, I'm sure that can be used here in some way.

You can change the counter move that's used with that mod, I.E. you could make Lucha style counter a powerbomb with a back-bodydrop instead of a rana or whatever, but you can't change the actual counter rate as far as I know.

Damage does carry over in a tournament by default. Man, I thought this was the case for years and then someone convinced me I was wrong. I am gonna track them down and wag my finger at them so hard. Thanks for the clarification. Also I just noticed your av. Nice. I don't think damage carried over in Fire Pro Returns tournament system though.
