ZIP JAPAN Z-1 Climax is coming! Signups are now CLOSED...I'm aiming for Friday Aug 17th as a potential date for streaming the qualifying rounds, so please try to submit your edit by next weekend if you haven't already. THANKS EVERYONE.
Gonna work this similar to how the Super Z Cup went last year, with the tourney winner getting a Championship match against Daisuke Shimura at a future ZIP JAPAN show. 16 man elimination tournament, with 4 spots going to current ZIP JAPAN edits. That means 12 spots available, so I'm looking for 24 ORIGINAL edits so I can do a qualifying round of matches for entry into the tournament proper...dates for these qualifying and tournament matches still to be determined.
Rules:
1) One entry per person. I may change this if I can't fill 24 slots but I honestly doubt that's gonna happen.
2) MALE, Heavyweight wrestlers please. In the context of ZIP JAPAN, this means 225 lbs or heavier.
3) 180 points overall limit.
4) No Hardbody, Monster, Do or Die, or Reborn skills
5) No Cement edits.
IMPORTANT: I'm looking for edits that are well rounded and can put on entertaining matches against a variety of opponents. I am NOT looking for squash machines. I will be making a separate copy of your edit on my own PC, and checking everyone's logic meticulously to ensure that everyone plays together as nicely as possible. I will be using my copy for the tourney matches to ensure no one changes anything between rounds. If you submit an edit and I feel the logic needs to be tweaked in certain areas, I will PM you with my suggested changes. However, I am not interested in redoing your logic from scratch...if your edit's logic is a disaster, I may be forced to boot him out of the slot and find someone else. Fair enough?
Three people have previously requested spots in the tourney so I've already reserved 3 of the 24 available slots. You can reserve a spot without picking an edit right away, but I don't want to sleep on this for too long, so don't take a slot unless your edit is ready/close to being ready to go. That being said, signups for the Z-1 Climax are now open.
