Anthony Kalb: Tonight marks another night in the unparalled reign of the Office's top ranked competitor, Colossus Rhodes. And because Midas Matthews goes out of his way to make sure that Rhodes remains in this spot, Jean-Pierre Mutombo will be out here against medical advice to take on the most dangerous man in professional wrestling. You know what, I don't care, I'm calling it as I see it. I'm Anthony Kalb, Senatorial Office Head of Operations, and I'm the person who does more to run this organization than anyone else, and that gives me the right to speak my mind.
Kalb: But I'm not here to voice my opinions, I'm here to inform all of you about one of the biggest events that we've managed to put together in recent memory. Tonight, Golden Touch features three big time title matches, with Colossus Rhodes defending not just his Senatorial Office Number One Ranking but also the combined TIPWF Golden Championship against the Man of Unity, Jean-Pierre Mutombo. And before that, the man who's the greatest of all time in my humble opinion, the founder of the entire Office, Steve Phillips continues to defy Father Time as he goes up against the skyrocketing Victorious Medal champion of Lightning Pro, the Stardust Angel, Kaede Kinoshita. Finally, Ruthless Nicole Alger completed the Two Step Challenge, and as a reward, she gets to take her shot at the UCSS Openweight Champion, the Master of the 52 Blocks, Hakim Fields.
Kalb: Now if it were up to Midas, we'd throw a number of jobber matches at you after that, since he'd figure the high stakes main event match is all people need to tune in, but I personally think that you, the fans deserve more, and we have the ability to deliver it. And that's why you'll get to see pure violence unfold as the Hindu Sheik and the Shrieking Sheik again renew their alliance as they go up against the unholy fellowship of Dr. Q and Dungeon Dominguez. That's why you get to see two legit stars in Florencia Espinoza, the Lady in Red as she goes up against a singer who needs no introduction in Miss Bauhaus.
Kalb: That's why when Juliette Erving said she wanted to make out with Sophie Sapphic in the middle of the ring, we contacted QTWA and instead requested an actual match between the two. That's why you get the Midwest Initiative of Phoenix Rising joining three of the promotion's top rising stars together as they go up against the SWA World Tag champs, Renacimiento and the Genocider, Sam Blocks. That's why "Sting" is here, and she's taking on Cobra Schwall in a matchup that's kinda the wrestling equivalent of seeing two tribute bands go to battle. And that's why, in our opener, we're going to try not to burn the building down as the fire breathing cowboy of Butterfloor, Sam Horne and the PEWA's disciple of cremation, Backyard Pyro meet up.
Kalb: So that's what we have to offer tonight. I think that's the sort of card I'd like to sit down and watch, and you know what, that's exactly what I plan to do. I hope you'll tune into the Senatorial Streaming Service and join me, I guarantee it'll be a good time.

Perhaps the single most important Office show of the year thus far saw one of the greatest debuts of all time in the main event and exceptional action through th erest of the card. Absolutely a show in the running for the best of the year.
RESULTS
Golden Touch #21: The Golden Reign 8:00 PM (CT) on Friday, May 27th at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington, DC
Main Event: Senatorial Office Number One Championship Bout, TIPWF Golden Championship Bout Colossus Rhodes(C) vs. Titas Butkus
Before the match, a suit-clad Jean-Pierre Mutombo would address the crowd.
Jean-Pierre Mutombo: Bonjour, people of the Senatorial Office! It is I, Jean-Pierre, and as excited as I am to be here in front of all of you, I am also sad to say that I will not be able to fight for the Number One or for the Texan titles, not if I am to be at my best. Two doctors have made sure to keep me out of the ring, the Doctor Q and my own doctor have worked together in their own special ways to make sure I do not face the mighty Colossus.
JPM: But fear not, my friends, because even if I am not wrestling in the ring, I have someone here who is just as thrilled as I would be! This very strong person has been waiting for the right moment for his first match, and I have agreed with him and Mr. Anthony Kalb and Mr. Walt Callahan and because of this, I am introducing to you the Lithuanian Bull, Titas Butkus!
Instead of an injured Mutombo, Rhodes would find himself facing a gigantic newcomer to the Office, a massive rugby star from Lithuania in Titas Butkus. At the last moment, it was also annoucned that the Board of Directors had banned all seconds from ringside, keeping Midas and his VIP Club from interfering. The Baltic Bruiser went right at Rhodes, and showing a forceful will and world class athelticism, made Rhodes look as vunerable as he ever has in his career. Butkus simply shut the top star of the Office down from the opening bell, outbrawling him and landed a modified fireman carry slam to do the impossible, winning the Senatorial Office Number One Ranking and the TIPWF Golden Championship in his televised debut. Arguably, the biggest win in the entire history of the Office, and a true changing of the guard. Titas Butkus not only beat the unbeatable giant, but made it look easy. It cannot be understated just what transpired in this match, and Butkus will now be the face of the entire organization going forward, just after one single shining moment.
Lightning Pro Victorious Medal Championship Bout "Stardust Angel" Kaede Kinoshita(C) vs. Senator Emeritus Steve Phillips
The legendary founder of the Office seemed to be a step ahead from the opening stages of this match, wearing a vintage attire and looking to have regained his prime form. Steve Phillips, though, would find that the Stardust Angel was as unrelenting as any foe he has faced in his vaunted career, and Kaede Kinoshita would rise to the moment, summoning a second wind as she mounted a stirring comeback, eventually landing the Stardust Press to capture the three count and retain the Victorious Medal. While many questioned Kinoshita's ability to hold her own against the heavy hitters of L-Pro, this match has absolutely solidfied her status, a tremendous match and an even better win.
UCSS Openweight Title Bout Hakim Fields(C) vs. Ruthless Nicole Alger
The Ruthless One may have had the ability to surpass the Two Step Challenge, but the daughter of the UCSS Commissioner was flat outgunned in this matchup. Hakim Fields seemed as untroubled as ever against Alger, eventually dashing her to the mat with a throw for a third round ten count victory to retain his championship. Fields once again looks nearly impossible to dislodge from the Openweight title.
Dr. Q(Rose Garden) and Dungeon Dominguez(Lucha POWER) with Paco Pequeno(Lucha POWER) vs. Hindu Sheik and Shrieking Sheik with Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint
One of the most promising bloodbaths in recent memory was cut all too short when the Shrieking Sheik dropped the Shreiking Elbow on Dungeon Dominguez's face, stopping the match before the ten minute mark. The Sheiks look more dangerous than ever, and Dr. Q was primed to go on a rampage later on the subsequent Sakura Pro card...
"La Dama de Rojo" Florencia Espinoza with Salvador Sosa vs. Miss Bauhaus with Astro Traveler
Miss Bauhaus demonstrated her growth in the ring by going move for move with one of Mexico's finest in this one, but Florencia Espinoza was simply a step ahead in the end, catching her famous popstar foe with a classic rollup counter to get the win.
Sophie Sapphic(Blue Thunder - QTWA) vs. Juliette Erving
An unexpected phenomenon of a match, once Juliette Erving stopped trying to make out with Sophie Sapphic in the early stages. Both ladies absolutely brought it for the remainder of the twenty five minutes, with intense action and a plethora of near falls and no sells. Eventually, Erving would connect one more time with The Conclusion, her trademark neckbreaker and score the three count. Beyond a doubt, this was not the last time that these two will meet in the ring.
The Midwest Initiative(Harley Brooks, Colt Jaskulski and Colt Whitfield)(Phoenix Rising) vs. Renacimiento(Leonardo Pascual and Oliver Espadas) and Sam Blocks
The Midwest Initiative did well to introduce their new alliance here, but the expereince of their SWA counterparts proved to be the deciding factor as Leonardo Pascual pinned Leon Jakulski following a superstar elbow drop. Renacimiento are still one of the most fluid teams in wrestling, as they showed here, once again.
"Sting"(Wrestle Parade) vs. Corrina "Cobra" Schwall
While it took a bit of time to draw "Sting" down from the rafters, the match was well worth it as she and Cobra Schwall put on an excellent old school showing, channeling the best of their respective inspirations. Eventually, Schwall would hit the classic DDT for the three, but both competitors certainly gained from this match.
No DQ Sam Horne(Butterfloor) vs. Backyard Pyro
A roughhousing mess of a match between two hot headed bruisers, and while Pyro seemed to be the superior of the two for long stretches, it would be Sam Horne coming away with the win after a takedown into a forearm choke to the windpipe, a legal finish thanks to the lack of disqualifcations in the match.
---
Match of the Night: Sophie Sapphic vs. Juliette Erving, Kaede Kinoshita vs. Steve Phillips -On a night where a large number of matches could have qualified for another show, these two were heads and tails above the rest, incredibly competitive in their own right, with Sapphic and Erving forging an instant feud from the moment the bell rang, and Kinoshita showing the Senator Emeritus that she could not only take his best shot, but deal back even stronger in her own right.
Performer of the Night: Titas Butkus -The easiest call ever? No doubt the Lithuanian Bull earned this after being the man to finally dethrone Colossus Rhodes, no doubt at all.
---
Senatorial Office Rankings (June 2022)
[Singles] #1: Titas Butkus (Last Month: N/A) -Butkus was finally the one to take the Number One off of Colossus Rhodes. As Colossus was hardly active outside of official Ranking bouts, the giant will drop all the way off the charts, and there should be no doubt that the new king of the hill will work harder to establish himself after arguably the greatest debut in wrestling history. #2: Kaede Kinoshita (Last Month: #2) -Kinoshita does not move from her prior position, but with a win over Steve Phillips, her reign becomes all the more impressive with the Victorious Medal. Kaede may go down as one of the iconic figures in L-Pro history when it is all said and done if she can keep up this pace. #3: Hakim Fields (Last Month: #3) -Fields may not be the flashiest but it is quite possible that he is the single most effective champion in the Office, restoring his aura of invincibiltiy with incredibly easy wins. #4: The Shrieking Sheik (Last Month: N/A) -A controversial choice, perhaps one of the most so that these rankings have seen, but while the Hindu Sheik may be the PEWA Extreme champion, the Shrieking Sheik has picked up the more impressive wins as of late, beating his counterpart in a non-title match and demolishing the imposing Dungeon Dominguez in a tag match. The Shrieking Sheik may not be the champion, but he may be all the more fearsome in that he doesn't seem to need the belt to demonstrate his dominance. #5: Kosuke "Choppu" Arai (Last Month: N/A) -Just barely edging out Marcos Angulo, Choppu Arai sneaks back into the top five again as he once again beat Goro Murakami to become the first ever Blue Thunder Japan champion. The seasoned veteran has again shown that he can compete at the highest level when given a chance.
[Team] #1: The New Mutants(PM Carnage and the EMP) (Last Month: #2) Conquering in almost every promotion they find themselves in, the proteges of the Bingo Hall Mutants are far and away the best team in the Office at this moment. They may still show signs of their relative youth with moments of inconsistency, but no team in the organization has accomplished more over the last year. #2: The Bingo Hall Mutants(Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah) (Last Month: #1) A close second to their successors, the Bingo Hall Mutants still remain one of the strongest teams around, showing no signs of slowing down, either in their relentless touring schedule across multiple promotions, or in their impressive form. #3: The Syndicate(Lucretia DeCavalcante, Mr. Cobra, Eddie the Wire and Tony the Rod) (Last Month: N/A) Almost disdainfully strong in their grasp of The Loop, the Syndicate have quietly racked up a series of impressive wins. The Goodfellas may have reached their quarter century mark as a team, but their confident, professional approach remains as strong as ever.

Programming Notes:
-A number of matches have been announced for future events, including the Hindu Sheik's defense of the PEWA Extreme title slated for this month's Golden Touch and the long-delayed New Mutants vs Neon Knights tag title bout which will take place in two months at Mid Year Lariats and Legislators. Tonight's main event will see the Bingo Hall Mutants and the New Mutants teaming together against the Knights and the upstart team of Diamond Records, Jose Marin and Floyd Zeppelin, a duo that could possibly be next in line for a shot.
-Jayne Payne earned her match for the Ruler of the Road by utterly slaughtering her last few opponents, but her chances of obtaining the former Highway Outlaw Wrestling belt will not be strong against one of the best champs in the Office at this point in time, in Demarcus Browning. The Warbringer has managed to succeed in his monthly defenses ever since taking the Ruler from Vladimir Henry and could keep the belt on lockdown for a long while to come.
-The Quest for the Best tournament will feature two matches on each of the four Office promotion shows this month, leading to quarter, semi and final rounds playing out on the subsequent Golden Touch event. The winner will be Titas Butkus's first foe for the Senatorial Office Number One Ranking at Mid Year Lariats a month after that. The Quest for the Best will feature a mix of well-known stalwarts and fresh new talent in an aim to create a variety of matchups.
-Sophie Sapphic and Juliette Erving was a pleasant surprise at the last Golden Touch, with both ladies showing an elevated level of competitive spirit and while Erving won the match the first time around, a clear rivalry was forged, and as such, the two will meet again tonight. Expect the same degree of early antics and late fireworks.

A show marred by serious techinical issues that still brought a number of satisfying results along the way.
RESULTS
PEWA: A Storm of Blood - 6-10-2022 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 10th at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA
Main Event The Philly Mutants(Rampage Rage, Skullface Killah, PM Carnage and the EMP) vs. Neon Knights(Supernaut and Holy Diver) and Diamond Records(Running Diamond Cutter Man and Floyd Zeppelin)
This was exactly what it was expected to be, a big mess of a match. Broadcast issues aside, both teams held up their end, and the New Mutants would gain a boost with PM Carnage pinning Holy Diver after a massive sit down powerbomb whip. Both teams of Mutants worked together perfectly, but the Neon Knights and Diamond Records also demonstrated their value in the division.
PEWA Ruler of the Road Championship Bout Demarcus Browning(Rose Garden) vs. Jayne Payne
It seemed that the Warbringer was going to have an easy win from the start, but Jayne Payne held on long enough to push the Ruler of the Road champion to another level, gaining a near fall with the Payne Train axe bomber, and eventually falling to a Musou slam. Browning has been an ideal champion, and should continue to represent the PEWA and the Rose Garden well with his monthly defenses.
Shaka Zulu(Shaka Corbin(Rose Garden) and Zulu Lionheart) vs. Hounds of Abaddon(Scarlett Rose and Garrison "Death" Rowe)(Wrestle Parade)
Two quality teams faced off here, and while the Hounds had their moments, Shaka Zulu were in the driver's seat, with Shaka Corbin pinning Scarlett Rose after a big spear.
Quest for the Best Round of 16 Match Hobo Harry vs. Young Blood
Hobo Harry put on a magnificent showing in this match, reminding the PEWA faithful why he is still one of the best in the business, outworking Young Blood from bell to bell and hitting three big Hobosaults with the last one giving the Hobo the win, and a matchup with his old friend, Bodybreaker Brown at the upcoming Golden Touch as the Quest for the Best continues.
Quest for the Best Round of 16 Match Bodybreaker Brown vs. Backyard Pyro
One of the best matches of the night with Backyard Pyro putting up a credible threat to the PEWA President in a wild brawl that went in and out of the ring, and involved a truckload of weapons. Bodybreaker Brown survived the fire, kicked out of a wrist clutch Pyrohammer and then immediately slammed Pyro down to the mat with a Snap Cracker, his gory style complete shot.
Erving vs. Sapphic II Sophie Sapphic(QTWA) vs. Juliette Erving
Not quite the blisteringly close, competitive encounter that their first match ended up being, with Juliette Erving holding more control over this match. The Conclusion lifting snap neckbreaker would bring this match to an end by pinfall in favor of Erving.
The Misfits(Julian Shepard and the Phantom Thief)(Phoenix Rising) vs. PEWA's Most Hated("Party Animal" Jeremy Wylde and Jeffrey Janson with Zanca)
One of the best matches of the night in spite of the growing technical issues with the broadcast, with the Phantom Thief and Julian Sheppard looking like the high level competitors that they should be, and the Thief would bring this match to a close with a snap neckbreaker on Jeremy Wylde that led to a modified Romero special submission.
Vampiric Encounter Luci(Wrestle Parade) vs. Heidi Karnstein
Both sides spilled blood in this match, with a surprising win by Heidi Karnstein as she locked in a Spider Twist, in spite of Luci clearly outclassing her for large stretches of the match.
"Tongan Deathmatch Princess" Melino Tupou vs. Tracy Finn
As expected, a one-sided win for Tupou, crushing Tracy Finn with a swinging neckcracker finish.
---
Match of the Night: Bodybreaker Brown vs. Backyard Pyro -Just a good old fashioned PEWA hardcore battle with Pyro and Brown both showing impressive skills and toughness.
Performer of the Night: Hobo Harry -Harry's incredibly strong win over Young Blood bodes well for him for the rest of the Quest for the Best tournament and certainly thrilled the PEWA diehards.

Walt Callahan: Heh, I'm not here to run my mouth and give you people the rundown on every match on this card. I'm just here to tell you all that this Friday, the TIPWF is having a celebration. We're celebrating our belts finally coming back. We're celebrating the Board of Directors giving us the clearence to put together a card that I personally think kicks the ass of anything we've done in years. Yeah, we're celebrating the fact that Midas Matthews just ate shit on the big stage. And I think this guy had something to do with that...
Titas Butkus: You know what happened, you know what happened, Walt? I showed up! I showed up and I showed them all what I have to bring to the table! I showed Colossus Rhodes what happens when he runs into someone who he can't throw around like his pillow! That's right, the Colossus thinks he's the baddest dog in the yard, he thinks that he's so big and so strong that nobody can move him off his feet! But you know what, I showed him what! I played rugby against the All Blacks! I back down from nobody! And nobody is as strong as I am! Nobody is as tough as I am! And I will be a champion that proves it over and over again! I didn't win this to sit on my ass and wait for easy wins! I want to fight everyone, I want to beat everyone! I want to be the best champion that the TIPWF has ever seen! I will beat Marcos Angulo this Friday! I will beat the Tijuana Wreckin' Ball and I will prove that I am the one and the only TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Champion, and the only champion that matters at all! Then anyone who wants to fight me can fight me because that is how a real champion proves that he is not a pretender, that he is not a setup, that is how a real champion makes his name and proves himself to the world and I will prove myself to Texas and the Senatorial Office and the whole world because I am ready to be the best and the best don't stop until someone makes them stop and whoever thinks they can make me stop better be able to stand in the way of a charging bull because I'm ready to trample anyone, and I mean anyone who stands in my way! That's why they call me the Lithuanian Bull, because anything that's in my way ends up under my feet!
Walt: Yeah, that's what you unleashed, Midas. Want to send your hired guns after him now? Yeah, I didn't think so. You're not that lucky. Now, speaking of lucky...this man certainly is. Go ahead and make it offical here, Cowboy.
Cowboy Johnston: Ah gotta thank yah, Commish, 'cause ah know this ain't what yah wanna hear. So...yah, ah've been thinkin' to mahself for a good while now. Ah done everythin' ah can possibly do in this here place. Won all them belts, ah was Number One, ah fought all 'round the world. Got mahself mah wonderful wife Hailey, mah wonderful kid Stanley, and ah got money enough t' take good care of them fer long as they live. Really, ah ain't got nuthin' left to prove. So, yah know what...ah'm callin' it a day an' ridin' off into that there sunset. Got mah investments workin' fer mahself, got mah family taken care of, done everythin' ah ever wanted in wrasslin. But ah've got a few matches ah gotta get in here while ah still can. So...Lance Marshall, yer the man when it comes to wrasslin' in Texas now, got yerself yer Ay Eff Dub an' all that, but yah know, we two, we got back ah ways, an' ah just gotta say, it ain't gonna be right if we don't throw down one more time in that there ring. So, bring yer Cattle Drive an' your Demonkiller an' show me what a big shot like you still's got tah bring an' ah'll see if ah can dust off this here Amarillah Sunset an' the ol' reliable Western Double an' we'll put on one last one fer the ages...so then, ah know ah got two more matches around these parts...Lariat, mah buddy, we gotta get one more on next month...an' Lariats...well, ah've gotta find who's gonna be the last 'un, don't ah?

A glorious return to form for the Office with a match for the ages for the Cowboy and impressive showings in the title bouts.
RESULTS
TIPWF: Return of the Gold - 6-17-2022 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 17th at the Stockade in Amarillo, TX
Bonus Match Ricky Scott with Salvador Sosa vs. Moonman
A fun little match that allowed the actual Ricky Scott to have some ring time, but Moonman was the one who took full advantage, controlling the pace and hitting a hip attack into a standing moonsault for a surprising upset.
Main Event: TIPWF Lone Star Unification Bout Titas Butkus(TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Championship) vs. Marcos Angulo (TIPWF Lone Star Interim Champion)
Marcos Angulo came to fight. Titas Butkus arrived with domination on his mind. And that was exactly what both managed to do. While Angulo bravely took the fight to his larger foe, Butkus was clearly a step above, no sold a huge knee in the ropes and landed heavy power moves and a crushing running lariat to secure his win to unify the TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight Championship. A relatively easy win for the top man in the Office, and a grand homecoming for the long lost belt.
TIPWF Lone Star Trios Championship Bout The Santana Family(Felix Santana Senior, Felice Santana and Felix Santana III)(C) vs. La Familia(Besos, Chico Con Carne and Rey de la Carne)(Wrestle Parade)
Quality match that would have won match of the night honors were it not for Johnston-Marshall. Both teams were in fine form, keeping up a solid pace, but it would be Rey de la Carne who would finsih things off, hitting a pair of big diving elbow drops and a pump handle side slam into the infamous Carne de Res Especial submission, his trademark face squatting finish, defeating Felix Santana III with the combo to earn the Lone Star Trios belts for La Familia. A great win for one of the most popular wrestling families in the scene.
Dominican Golden Championship Royale Layla Al Amin(Phoenix Rising) vs. Doctor Dorado(Lucha POWER) vs. Florencia Espinoza vs. Poison Froggy Mask vs. Diego Santana vs. Vice Versa vs. Misterio Guerrero vs. Luchador Sorpresa
A match that went nearly twenty minutes without an elimination, but business would pick up afterwards, with a nice pacing from that point on. Most would find themselves eliminated by a rollup, and the match would finally narrow down in the end to two guests in Al-Amin and Dorado. It would be the longstanding experience of the Lucha POWER vet that would prevail here, with Dorado using a scissored inverted cloverleaf hold to submit the speedy Egyptian and became the second from his home promotion to hold the Dominican Golden Championship, after Dungeon Dominguez's infamous reign.
The Cowboy Rides to the Sunset Tour Lance Marshall with Cassandra Marshall(Phoenix Rising-AFW) vs. Cowboy Johnston with Hailey Comet
This was simply a step above everything else. A true match for the ages and a late career highlight for Cowboy Johnston. The Cowboy notably wore his classic trunks attire from his early career Japanese tours, and would take the inspiration to push Lance Marshall right up to his limit. However, the AFW founder would answer fire with fire, repeatedly throwing Johnston down with the Cattle Drive fireman carry DDT and his running Demonkiller jumping powerbomb(of course, into the ropes), along with a storm of lariats, but in the end, it would be the classic Texas Cloverleaf that would result in a submission win for Marshall, in a match that both sides would leave with a sense of accomplishment, having endured a struggle above and beyond the norm.
Quest for the Best Tournament Bout Hoss Hank Harcourt Hadley Jr. vs. Boss Ross Foreman
A surprising win for the Supervisor of the Ring, who overcame some fierce backbreakers from Hoss Hank to catch the rising prospect in a deathlock cobra twist to gain a submission victory and to take on Felix Santana Jr. in the next round of the Quest for the Best.
Quest for the Best Tournament Bout The New Humanity, Esteban Vargas vs. Felix Santana Jr.
An exciting match that saw Felix Junior survive the Dangerous Go Around and a wicked Izuna Drop from Vargas, fighting back with his traditional family techniques, eventually catching the New Humanity with a diving huracanrana pin as he jumped off the top rope. Felix will move ahead in the Quest for the Best, and beat one of the top stars of the TIPWF to earn his spot.
Team Hard Work(Rin Jokusato, Fuyuki Takenaka(Typhoon Pro) and the Everyman) vs. The Chang Family(Annie Chang(PEWA), Roland Chang Jr, and Roland Chang Sr.)
A fairly even match with Annie Chang anchoring her family's team and the Everyman and Fuyuki wrecking house for their side. Things would get heated with some exchanges betwen the Everyman and Roland Junior, culminating in a Workman's Compesation big boot that would knock Chang out, and net a victory for Team Hard Work.
"Sicky Rott" vs. Professor Mark Gizenga with Jean-Pierre Mutombo
Before Ricky Scott was going to step into the ring, a person kinda sorta dressed like the belt chasing powerhouse jumped over the guardrail and rolled into the squared circle. TIPWF security, for some reason, allowed it to happen, and the ring announcer stated that Professor Mark Gizenga was facing "Sicky Rott" for the evening. Stanford Bradley (Senior), the impostor and Professor Gizenga proceeded to have a drearily slow contest, with Bradley's usual antics in play, in spite of his appropriation of his "Wrestling Son's" attire. It would thankfully, mercifully end seventeen painful minutes in with a Gizenga body scissors hold.
El Hijo del Sapo(Rose Garden) vs. El Froggy Mask
A motivated performance from Froggy, who overcame Hijo del Sapo's relentless bending of the rules and fired back with a flurry of top rope dives, culminating in his Tadpole Roll running huracanrana transition to a jackknife pin.
---
Match of the Night: Cowboy vs. Lance -There are times that this is a tough enough choice that multiple matches earn the honors. This was not one of those situations. Johnston and Marshall put on a match of the year contender, a bout that delivered hard hitting drama from start to finish and served well as a part of the extended sendoff for the Cowboy.
Performer of the Night: Doctor Dorado -Lucha POWER's veteran masked man won the Dominican Golden Championship in a shark tank of a royale and as such, earned the Performer award. Titas Butkus, Felix Santana Jr. and La Familia all had a chance at this one, but Dorado had the higher degree of difficulty in his title win.
---
Injury Report
Roland Chang Jr: Moderate Concussion (Three Month Medical Suspension) -A Workman's Compensation running boot to the head knocked Roland Junior flat out and the outspoken roughneck will miss three months of action before he receives the clearance to undoubtedly seek his revenge. There is no doubt that Chang will hold onto his grudge for the duration.

Hana Brightly MILF Hunter Tour Hana Brightly(Wrestle Parade) vs. Elle Barrett
Quest for the Best ??? vs. "Showtime" Byron Worthy(Warrior Pro)
Quest for the Best Takayuki Ueda vs. Kosuke "Choppu" Arai
Steve Phillips vs. D-Man Daunte Thomas
Iceberg vs. Rick Humphries
Preliminary Main Event The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto) and G.P. Christopher vs. Oak Man, Odin Brockhouse and Sam Horne(Butterfloor)
---
Programming Notes:
-The Syndicate have kept a stranglehold on The Loop trophy, but will have a wide variety of challengers aiming at their prize in the main event. Stakhonovite Warrior representing the former champions, Worldwide Conquest, the X-Treme Kid for NBNF, Ross Malone for the Action Pack, Kyoko Nakajima traveling from Sakura Pro on behalf of the House of Nakajima and notably, Jin Matsuda, one third of the long-reigning Blue Destiny team that once held the trophy for a long period of time will head out from ZIP Japan.
-ARENA will have competition for their chance at the Destructive Duo as Worldwide Conqest bring an unusual team of Rumika Hashi and Maximillian Francisco De La Cruz, a move part way intended to preserve the top duo of the Conquest, ALEXANDER and Tarkhan the Mangler for their Rose Garden tag championship run, and partly to put Hashi at the forefront, with her bitter thirst for vengeance against the Duo never letting up.
-Three of the matches on the card are foreshadowing high profile bouts at Mid Year Lariats in July, with Ayako Miyamoto and Kyle Anderson representing the Victorious Medal Holder, Kaede Kinoshita and the challenger, Kojiro Burai, respectively. Also, Iceberg will face Steve Phillips's former bodyguard, Rick Humphries and Phillips will go up against a member of Iceberg's D-Team, the D-Man, Daunte Thomas.
-Hana Brightly has declared war on the mothers of the Critical Alliance! Or something along those lines...the QTWA Champion and the face of Wrestle Parade will go up against the Action Pack's Elle Barrett, the aunt of Butterfloor's fan favorite, Lexie Barrett and a mother of her own child, who apparently is too sensible to enter into the world of pro wrestling.
-The Quest for the Best continues, as supernova prospect, Takayuki Ueda goes up against the resurgent veteran, Kosuke Choppu Arai, and the sole outsider in the tournament, Warrior Pro, and the PAC's own, Showtime Byron Worthy will go up against a mystery opponent. There are some rumors that Worthy will have his hands full with a big time returning star.
-The Preliminary Main Event sees the continuation of the strange friendship between the Destructive Duo and GP Christopher, as the trio goes up against a team of brutal Butterfloor brawlers in the fire breathing westerner, Sam Horne, the bloody goose, Odin Brockhouse and the tree that chops back, Oak Man. This one promises to bring out the vintage PEWA side of Christopher, and could be quite the violent way to open the night.

A solid show with some enjoyable squashes and some quality competition mixed together, and a few memorable surprises along the way.
RESULTS
Lightning Pro x Wacker Drive Revival: Lightning Strikes in Kyoto - 6-24-2022 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, June 24 at the Kyoto Central Gymnasium in Kyoto, Japan
The Loop Contender Royale Stakhonovite Warrior vs. The X-Treme Kid vs. Jin Matsuda(ZIP Japan) vs. Ross Malone vs. Kyoko Nakajima(Rose Garden)
A fairly even match until the twenty minute mark, with Ross Malone eliminated by a half nelson wrist clutch bomb by Jin Matsuda, X-Treme Kid falling to Kyoko Nakajima's Engranaje air raid crossface submission almost directly afterwards. Nakajima would also eliminate the Stakhonovite with the same move several minutes later, and after a brief, but fierce encounter, Jin Matsuda would put Nakajima away with a codebreaker. Blue Destiny once again have a shot at The Loop, and while the Syndicate may currently grasp the trophy with an iron hand, the ZIP Japan legends may well be the favorites going forward.
Victorious Tag Medal #1 Contender Bout ARENA(Arisa Hashimoto and Rena LeBlanc) with Monica Tesfaye vs. Worldwide Conquest(Rumika Hashi and Maximillian Francisco De La Cruz) with ALEXANDER
Hard fought match between two quality teams, with Arisa Hashimoto clearly bothered by an early cut inflicted by De La Cruz, but it would be ARENA who pulled away in the end, largely thanks to the efforts of Rena LeBlanc, who landed a Jaegerbomb crucifix bomb pin on Rumika Hashi for the win. ARENA will now have a shot at the Destructive Duo, can the two possibly pull off one of the biggest upsets in Office history with this one?
Bonus Match: The Cowboy Rides Into the Sunset Tour Cowboy Johnston(TIPWF) vs. The Outlaw, Sam Hall
A surprise showing for the retiring Cowboy Johnston, who continued his retirement tour with a stop in Kyoto against a fellow Texan in Sam Hall. Early on, it seemed as if the Outlaw would have the best of the matchup, but Johnston would hold on, eventually landing his classic Amarillo Sunset brainbuster lariat for the three count, a feel-good moment for an emotionally charged time in his career.
"Five Star" Kyle Anderson with Kojiro Burai(Phoenix Rising) vs. Ayako Miyamoto with Kaede Kinoshita
Ayako Miyamoto may be one of the most formidable judokas in the Office, and a veritable suplex machine, but against Five Star Kyle Anderson, she found herself up against a similar suplex expert, and with the size difference, Anderson was able to out throw his foe, winning the battle of the German for much of the match, with Miyamoto's bridging attempts only landing in the ropes, and a Baltimore Bomb facelock cradle lift powerbomb would finish things out for the Pure Gold veteran. Miyamoto may be seen as one of the four pillars of L-Pro's future, but Kyle Anderson is simply a step ahead at this point in time.
Hana Brightly MILF Hunter Tour Hana Brightly(Wrestle Parade) vs. Elle Barrett
Another night, another mom on the list. Hana Brightly may not have proclaimed "vini, vidi, vici," but she absolutely came, saw and conquered Elle Barrett with frightening ease, putting the Action Pack standout down in just over seven minutes with a sling blade combo and an admirable level of effeciency.
Quest for the Best King Bemba with Yetunde Oya and Esther Musambi vs. "Showtime" Byron Worthy(Warrior Pro) with Monica Tesfaye
Close to half a year since his near-career ending injury at the hands of Colossus Rhodes, the King made his surprise return to enter into the Quest. Unfortunately for the sole outside competitor in the tournament, Byron Worthy ended up entirely outgunned by the Ugandan Destroyer, thrown around like a rag doll and eventually powerbombed into the mat for the three count. The only good thing to be said for Worthy was that he was not injured...and for Kosuke Arai, the challenge of his career may just await in the next round of the Quest. King Bemba is back, and arguably, more powerful than ever before.
Quest for the Best Takayuki Ueda vs. Kosuke "Choppu" Arai
Astoundingly strong match between two competitors on directly opposite ends of the age spectrum. And while Takayuki Ueda looked every bit the star that he has been projected to become, Kosuke Arai would not yield under his varied, withering pressure, firing back with his trademark chops, eventually landing a series of lifting knife edge strikes to score the pin. Choppu will go on in the Quest for the Best, and absolutely earned his spot at the upcoming Golden Touch.
Steve Phillips with Anthony Kalb, Kevin Fitsharris and Monica Tesfaye vs. D-Man Daunte Thomas with Freight Train McMichaelson and Astrid Johannson
Tremendous match between two storied veterans of the ring, the D-Man showed up in top form, pushing the pace and coming close to a win on multiple occasions as he tested the limits of Phillips. However, the former Senator showed that he could push through the adversity, eventually landing a classic Filibuster and netting the pinfall win as a result.
Iceberg vs. Rick Humphries
Another routine win for Charles Berg as he steamrolled Steve Phillips's former bodyguard, demolishing him outside the ring and landing a thunderous spear for the pin.
Preliminary Main Event The Destructive Duo(Crusher Honda and Wrecker Yamamoto) and G.P. Christopher vs. Oak Man, Odin Brockhouse and Sam Horne(Butterfloor)
A match that seemed to be over all too quickly, with the Butterfloor side doing their best to wreak havoc before GPC pinned Sam Horne with a diving splash.
---
Match of the Night: Ueda vs. Arai -Takayuki Ueda and Kosuke Arai put on a barnburner of a match with Ueda showing his talent and Arai mounting a stirring comeback. Phillips vs. the D-Man was close, but this match was just a notch stronger.
Performer of the Night: Jin Matsuda -Winning the main event royale put L-Pro on notice that the former ZIP Japan Heavyweight champ is back in top form.

UCSS: Fighter's Journey - 7-1-2022 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 1st at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA
Main Event: UCSS Openweight #1 Contender Bout Andronicus Turner vs. Thiago Gracie
SWA Prestige Title Contender Bout Sebastian Churchill(Rose Garden) vs. "Buttered Toast Man" Rory Burton(Butterfloor) vs. Frog Buster vs. July Eagle
Quest for the Best Tournament Walid Alizadeh vs. Ricky "Violence" Valdez
Quest for the Best Tournament Lanna Ndi vs. Zin Win Aye
Red Alert(Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) and Aoife Daley) vs. Team Technical(Johnny Warning(Rose Garden) and Mackenzie Bergeron)
Lamont Aldren with Keith Van Horne vs. Oleg Makos with Count Savage
Sanem Becker with "Big Banter" Rory Banner vs. Giulia Sanfilippo(Neutral Grounds)
Aline Richelieu and Della Dwight vs. Jamie Tomasi and Angie Armstrong
Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. Victor Bosch
---
Programming Notes:
-While UCSS is usually obsessed with elaborate setups for title shots, Commissioner Alger changed course for this time around, simply putting two of the top stars on the brand in the main event to determine Hakim Field's opponent for Mid Year Lariats. Andronicus Turner is riding some momentum in his current comeback and Thiago Gracie could be a double champion, holding the Openweight title and remaining half of the UCSS Tag champions if he can overcome this striker vs. grappler matchup and defeat Fields.
-Candace Monroe may not be Phoenix Rising's top champion anymore after Mascara Avispa ended her impressive run with the belt at Sky's the Limit, but the Limbtaker will receive a major challege for her remaining belt as Frog Buster, Sebastian Churchill, July Eagle and the Buttered Toast Man, Rory Burton all clash for the opportunity at next week's Golden Touch event.
-The last two Quest for the Best qualifiers will take place here as Walid Alizadeh and Ricky Valdez match up as well as Lanna Ndi and Zin Win Aye. Both matchups promise to bring some exceptional aggression and violence for UCSS with the likes of Aye and Valdez involved.
-Angie Armstrong will fill in for Thiago Gracie to team with Jamie Tomasi against the lengthy ladies, Aline Richelieu and Della Dwight, a strong opportunity for the newcomer.
Post by Senator Phillips on Jul 8, 2022 22:48:49 GMT
An important transitional show that set up matches for both the Quest for the Best and for Mid Year Lariats, highlighted by a big upset win in the Prestige title contendership bout.
UCSS: Fighter's Journey - 7-1-2022 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 1st at the Doors of Perception in Los Angeles, CA
Bonus Match Count Savage vs. Gentleman Jem Gladstone
A fun bonus match with Savage sending Gladstone out of the ring at one point with a one inch punch, but the Gentleman did not lose his cool, and caught the Count with his River Thames Undertow armhook half crab for the third round submission.
Main Event: UCSS Openweight #1 Contender Bout Andronicus Turner vs. Thiago Gracie
While Gracie did manage to show some life later in this match, it seemed that the Kronk Legacy was in full control here, eventually landing a series of blistering flurries down the stretch, and knocking Thiago out with a crushing overhand right to the back of the head. Andronicus Turner will go on to face Hakim Fields at Mid Year Lariats for the Openweight title, and it looks like the former champion will do so with some serious momentum.
SWA Prestige Title Contender Bout Sebastian Churchill(Rose Garden) vs. "Buttered Toast Man" Rory Burton(Butterfloor) vs. Frog Buster vs. July Eagle
The Buttered Toast Man arrived in this matchup as the clear underdog. He lacked the technical virtuosity of Churchill, the impeccable credentials and history of Eagle and the size and power of Buster. And yet, Rory Burton did not cease to believe in himself, throwing himself into the fight, stopping Sebastian Churchill with a series of punches from top guard, shortly after submitting July Eagle to a boston crab, and then, impossibly, hit Frog Buster with his Butter Side Down electric chair facebuster to pin the behemoth and claim his prize; a shot at Candace Monroe and her SWA Prestige title at next week's Golden Touch event. A stirring win for the face of Butterfloor, and one that should give fans hope for a strong match for the Prestige belt.
Quest for the Best Tournament Walid Alizadeh vs. Ricky "Violence" Valdez
No doubt about it, Walid Alizadeh arrived fully prepared, and utterly rag dolled his smaller opponent for two rounds before hitting a destructive head spiking slam for the ten count victory.
Quest for the Best Tournament Lanna Ndi vs. Zin Win Aye
A fiercely fought battle between two aggressive competitors, with Zin Win Aye pulling off an early third round three count win after a brutal right hand to the jaw. Lanna Ndi's fortitude and fearlessness should be noted, as she did not shy away from trading blow for blow.
Red Alert(Leona Sterling(Phoenix Rising) and Aoife Daley) vs. Team Technical(Johnny Warning(Rose Garden) and Mackenzie Bergeron)
Red Alert seemed slightly out of their element against Team Technical's focused attack, with Mackenzie Bergeron submitting Aoife Daley with a calf slicer directly in her own corner.
Lamont Aldren with Keith Van Horne vs. Oleg Makos with Count Savage
Much to the relief of the fans, Lamont Aldren overcame the heavy power of Makos, answering with his high level ground game and impactful slams, eventually managing to choke the Greek-Russian spammer out in the fourth round. An excellent match all around with both sides bringing their best.
Sanem Becker with "Big Banter" Rory Banner vs. Giulia Sanfilippo(Neutral Grounds)
A solid effort fromSanfilippo, but the fashionable Italian shooter could not fend off Sanem Becker's high level suplex game, with Becker planting her foe with a Peach Sunrise suplex for the fourth round three count.
Aline Richelieu and Della Dwight vs. Jamie Tomasi and Angie Armstrong
The Thiago Gracie BJJ team of Tomasi and Armstrong managed to fight through some impressive attacks from their uncommonly tall foes, with Tomasi catching Della Dwight with a double arm suplex into a cross armbar for the submission.
Ruthless Nicole Alger with Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising) vs. Victor Bosch with Mikazuki
An upset of a sort, with Alger's submission defense surprisingly not serving as the difference as Bosch bypassed his usual submission game and instead went with a big overhand to score a third round pinfall win.
---
Match of the Night: Aldren vs. Makos -A surprisingly competitive matchup that was better than it had any right to be. Lamont Aldren demonstrated just how skilled he is and Oleg Makos, irritating as he can be, more than held up his own end of the match.
Performer of the Night: Rory Burton -As strong as Andronicus Turner and Walid Alizadeh's wins were, Burton easily had the most impressive victory of the evening as he eliminated all three foes in his royale.
===
Injury Report
Thiago Gracie: Mild Concussion (Two Month Medical Suspension) -Suffering a knockout from an Androncus Turner punch, Gracie will sit out several months to recuperate.
The Cowboy Rides Into the Sunset Farewell Tour Cowboy Johnston vs. Jean-Pierre Mutombo
Quest for the Best Semi Final Bout Winner of Bemba/Arai vs. Winner of Alizadeh/Aye
Quest for the Best Semi Final Bout Winner of Harry/Brown vs. Winner of Foreman/Santana Jr.
Hana Brightly MILF Hunter Tour Hana Brightly(Wrestle Parade) vs. Hailey Comet
Warrior Pro G2 Qualifiying Match Lil' Lariato vs. Marcos Angulo(Representing Boss Ross Foreman)
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout Walid Alizadeh vs. Zin Win Aye
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout King Bemba vs. Kosuke "Choppu" Arai
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout Boss Ross Foreman vs. Felix Santana Jr.
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout Hobo Harry vs. Bodybreaker Brown
---
Programming Notes
-The Quest for the Best tournament will bring forth the winners of the qualifying matches from the last month, with the winner going on to challenge Titas Butkus in the main event of next month's Mid Year Lariats supercard with the Senatorial Office Number One Ranking on the line.
-Rory Burton's big upset win on last week's UCSS event gives him a shot at Candace Monroe and the SWA Prestige title, while the former Phoenix Rising World Champion has to be the clear favorite, the Buttered Toast Man cannot be counted out if he can duplicate the effort and spirit he demonstrated in the contender match.
-Cowboy Johnston and Jean-Pierre Mutombo were by far the top two names of the first phase of the Office's operations, and both still have a spot in the organization's historical pantheon. As such, Johnston will take on Mutombo on his retirement tour to fulfill a longstanding dream match on his way out.
-Hana Brightly will not stop chasing the moms of the wrestling world, and this time, has Johnston's wife, Hailey Comet in her sights. Expect a fast paced confrontation here, with Brightly's technicality and straight line speed up against Comet's foundational western brawling and high flying skills.
-As Boss Ross Foreman is busy with the Quest for the Best, he instead nominated Marcos Angulo to stand in for him for a qualifying match to determine the Office's representative in Warrior Pro's annual G2 tournament. One of the most prestigious yearly events in wrestling, the G2 pits some of the best competitors in the world against each other in league play and either Lil' Lariato or Foreman will have a big boost to their standing if they can gain the entry.
-Cowboy Johnston will announce his final opponent for Mid Year Lariats at tonight's event before his match, with the one common theme in insider rumors stating that the individual will not be a currently contracted member of the Office roster. Johnston is also reportedly scheduled to compete in every Office show for the upcoming month leading into Lariats.
Post by Senator Phillips on Jul 15, 2022 20:58:46 GMT
The worst show in Office history? By far one of the most frustrating nights in organizational history with a disasterous tournament, severed business alliances and a catastrophic bonus match on top of it. While there were a few exceptions, particuarly in the early going, this just seemed like the show that brought out the very worst in the Office.
RESULTS
Golden Touch 22: Quest for the Best 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 8th at the Beltway Hippodrome in Washington DC
Bonus Match Titas Butkus vs. Hailey Comet
As proof that Murphy's Law was in full effect on this evening, Titas Butkus was brought in to "punish" Hailey Comet for her earlier diagrace of a match, the Colossus Killer expected to easily demolish his much smaller opponent. Instead, Comet fought out of her mind and somehow managed to defeat the previously undefeated Number One Ranked TIPWF Lone Star Heavyweight champ with a corkscrew Southern Star Press. Could this have gone any worse? Doubtful.
Main Event: Quest for the Best Final Hobo Harry vs. Zin Win Aye
Zin won with headbutts from top guard, nuff said.
SWA Prestige Championship Bout Candace Monroe(Phoenix Rising)(C) with Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. "Buttered Toast Man" Rory Burton(Butterfloor)
A good match and championship experience for Rory Burton, who conducted himself with honor and spirit as he took the fight to Candace Monroe, surviving the first ten minute stanza of the match in the process. However, Monroe would slowly work towards her preferred leglock finish, sinking in a heel hook in the second round to defend her belt. Still a champion, still one of the best around.
The Cowboy Rides Into the Sunset Farewell Tour Cowboy Johnston with Duke Cogburn vs. Jean-Pierre Mutombo with Professor Mark Gizenga
The two seasoned icons entertained well enough in this decent bout, nothing to write home about, but far from being as awful as many of the matches on this unfortunate show. In the end, JPM pinned after his Supersensational Drop elbow, but Cowboy Johnston did not embarrass himself or get injured, and here, that can be considered a major victory of a sort.
Quest for the Best Semi Final Bout King Bemba vs. Zin Win Aye
A good match for the most part, but again, Zin Win Aye just seemed to be in another state of mind, kicking out time and time again only to again finish with a series of endless headbutts that continued after the bell. It was at this point that Zin went from a scrappy underdog to a legit problem.
Quest for the Best Semi Final Bout Hobo Harry vs. Boss Ross Foreman
The ageless Hobo did it again here, landing multiple Hobosaults and eventually pinning after a diving blockbuster neckbreaker for the win.
Hana Brightly MILF Hunter Tour Hana Brightly(Wrestle Parade) vs. Hailey Comet
The less said, the better. A decent match was brewing until Hailey Comet decided to hit an early Southern Star Press, and knocked the wind out of Hana Brightly for an all-too-quick referee stoppage. Terrible, inexcusable showing from an otherwise dependable performer in Comet, and one that may have irrevocably damaged business relationships in the process.
Warrior Pro G2 Qualifiying Match Lil' Lariato with Generalissimo Kool Q vs. Marcos Angulo(Representing Boss Ross Foreman) with Commissioner Walt Callahan
Here is where things went downhill, fast. For the most part, this was a good solid match between two good competitors. However, the finish of this one was unacceptable. Walt Callahan interfered at a critical moment, pulling referee Sheena away from a late match Lariato pinfall, only for Marcos Angulo to lock in his arm triangle to net the win, bumping Boss Ross Foreman into the Warrior Pro G2 Tournament with a controversial finish. There will unavoidably be some major fallout here.
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout Walid Alizadeh vs. Zin Win Aye
Walid Alizadeh seemed to be primed for a squashfest here, but just when it seemed he was about to put Zin Win Aye away, the Burmese Deathmatch Lethwei Machine unleashed a furious flow of headbutts from top sprawl, causing a referee stoppage. A shocking defeat for the former champ, and a harbinger for the disasters to come.
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout King Bemba vs. Kosuke "Choppu" Arai
Kosuke Arai did not back down from his fearsome foe, and kept Bemba off guard with a persistent array of chops. However, the Ugandan Destroyer not only avoided defeat after two Hell Banishing Chops, but got right up after the second to hit a death valley bomb for his own three count. Another quality match in the quarterfinals.
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout Boss Ross Foreman vs. Felix Santana Jr.
Continuing a strong early run in the tournament, Boss Ross took the best Felix Santana had to offer and lariated him down for a pin to move ahead. Good back and forth match that showcased two very different approaches.
Quest for the Best Quarterfinal Bout Hobo Harry vs. Bodybreaker Brown
An unsurprisingly cordial, yet violent match between the two old friends, with Hobo Harry overcoming an early deficit to win with a Hobosault for the pin.
---
Match of the Night: Hobo Harry vs. Bodybreaker Brown -The show started out on its strongest point with a classic encounter between two foes that knew each other's style well.
Performer of the Night: None -Hailey Comet and Zin Win Aye would be the obvious choices, but official word carried down from Senatorial Office Chairman Morgan Matthews stated that neither will recieve any reward.
---
Morgan "Midas" Matthews: It has been some time since I have spoken here to you people. Frankly, I haven't felt like doing so ever since Walt Callahan and the rest of the Board decided to blindside me with the last Number One Ranking bout. We can see from tonight just how great of a figurehead Titas Butkus is. He couldn't even defeat Hailey Comet.
Midas: After this utter mess of a show, I called a meeting with the Board and for the first time in a long time, we all were on the same page...for the most part. They could not deny that their grand ideas were running this organization into the ground. Therefore, I am returning to my rightful place as the Chair of the Board and I am making a few tough decisions, hopefully to salvage what is left of our upcoming Mid Year Lariats program.
Midas: First off, Zin Win Aye is a disgrace. He won three matches by repeatedly headbutting his opponents. It is a stupid tactic, a self-destructive one, and every time, he ignored the referee...speaking of, after speaking with my Head of Operations, I have decided to go out and hire Rick Humphries to serve now as the primary referee for Golden Touch and for Office utility work going forward. I may not like the man or his associations with Steve Phillips, but he will maybe establish a little needed order. In any case, with Zin Win Aye, I have decided that on Night One of Lariats, he will have to face the three men he defeated this night, Walid Alizadeh, King Bemba and Hobo Harry, and face them in a battle royale, with the winner going up against Titas Butkus for the main event on the following night.
Midas: Next, speaking of Mr. Butkus, quite frankly, the luster is off the rose now with him after that humiliating loss. He couldn't take out the trash. So I'll give him one more chance, and if he wants to remain Number One going into Lariats, then he will have to beat Hailey Comet at the upcoming TIPWF program. If he cannot do so, then he, too will face three other foes at Night One, with the winner of that match taking on the winner of the previously mentioned contest.
Midas: It also appears that our roster is horribly in need of some superior training. And as such, I decided to go out of my way to make a very generous offer to our retired former head trainer "Textbook" Tim Dwight to return to run his Dwight Gym again, and to process every active member of our rosters within the months following Lariats. We have not held ourselves to a high enough standard as of late, and it has hurt the bottom line and our business relationships. It is time to turn that around.
Midas: I want to be able to enjoy making money and putting on big oversized productions for you people. I can't do that with shows like the one we saw earlier tonight. I told you all I didn't want to be here. I'm sick of bickering with my Board, I washed my hands of my failed attempt to present a superior breed of wrestling with my VIP Club and I'll say right now that I'm re-evaluating everything right now concerning this business venture. When I am not enjoying things and I am not making enough profit, I have arrived at the point where I have to start questioning whether this is worth the continued investment.
Midas: So let that be a message to all four of the Office affiliate promotions and to every single member of the contracted roster. If there was ever a time for you to step up, it is during the next five weeks. I trust that you understand the consequences if you do not...

Post by Senator Phillips on Jul 22, 2022 22:58:59 GMT
A welcome, necessary improvement over the disaster that the prior Golden Touch event brought, with the PEWA bringing a solid, dependable display of Philadelphia hardcore wrestling.
RESULTS
PEWA: Anarchic Anticipation 8:00 PM(CT) on Friday, July 15th at the Halcyon Ballroom in Philadelphia, PA
Bonus Match Cruiser Khan with Cruiser Jacobs and Cruiser Conrad vs. Dr. Trace Gibson
The bad doctor and the oldest of the Cruisers went into this match knowing the PEWA is cutting its roster following Lariats, and with neither featuring much as of late, this was one last chance to make an impression. Fortunately, both veterans engaged in an enjoyable brawl of a match, with Gibson repeatedly targeting the arm of his geriatric foe, and Khan engaging in his classic brutality, using forks and spikes to open a gruesome laceration. Gibson would eventually prevail with a seated armlock, but both men held up their end here, making a solid case to the Office for their retention.
Main Event The Hindu Sheik and Moustapha Ndour vs. The Sheridan Bros(Vincent Sheridan and Zach Sheridan)(Phoenix Rising)
A far, far better match than this had any right to be. The Sheridan Brothers were expected by most to be lambs led to the slaughter here, but the two Evergreen competitors fought more as a cohesive team as they ever have in their careers, giving Ndour and the Sheik a legitimately difficult time, fighting outside repeatedly and with Vincent even landing a late double lotation moonsault, but Moustapha Ndour would catch his foe with a SOS leg sweeping rolling pin for the three count, giving the challenger a win going into his title challenge against the Sheik.
The Cowboy Rides Into the Sunset Retirement Tour: Light Tube Deathmatch Cowboy Johnston(TIPWF) vs. Tomas the Tiny Giant
While Cowboy Johnston donned the attire of the notorious Borderline Brawler for this match, nodding back to his days south of the Rio Grande, this was still a Light Tube Deathmatch, and with Tomas involved, Johnston found himself in the Tiny Giant's wheelhouse, fighting well, but eventually falling to the Ball Peen Hammer spicy drop for teh three count. A fun match that closes the book on one of the Office's earliest feuds in a satisfying manner.
PEWA Ruler of the Road Championship Bout Demarcus Browning(Rose Garden)(C) vs. Backyard Pyro
Backyard Pyro has arrived. While Demarcus Browning seemed to outclass his much less experienced foe for much of the match, seemingly cruising to another routine defense of his belt, Pyro hit not just one, but two wrist clutch Pyrohammers, with the second knocking the Warbringer out, granting Backyard Pyro his first big PEWA win, and the Ruler of the Road championship. Whether Pyro can defend his belt now...that will be the question going forward.
Shaka Corbin(Rose Garden) vs. Rampage Rage vs. Floyd Zeppelin
Intense contest with Rampage Rage putting Shaka Corbin away after a Splash of Rage, and Floyd Zeppelin finishing Rampage with a sheer drop air raid crash variation. The action was fast and hard hitting, and Corbin may well have done the most overall damage before his elimination.
"Tongan Deathmatch Princess" Melino Tupou with Hobo Harry vs. Heidi Karnstein with Sir Vladimir Henry
Karnstein came into the PEWA clearly in a managerial role for Sir Vladimir Henry, but as of late, the sinister beauty has shown some undeniable ability in the ring, racking up a number of upset wins, including one on this night over the previously undefeated Melino Tuopu, keeping her off guard with a series of agile takedowns and catching the Tongan with a European Clutch pin for the three. Heidi Karnstein may well be the most improved competitor in the Office this year, and almost certainly seems a lock for a Ruler of the Road challenge in the near future.
Beat the Clock Challenge The New Mutants(PM Carnage and the EMP) vs. Shrimp Simpson(ENHANCE) and Masked Maniac IV
Maybe not the best performance that the New Mutants have shown, but a chokeslam from PM Carnage led to a pin on Masked Maniac IV at 21:25, giving the champs the edge in the Beat the Clock Challenge.
Beat the Clock Challenge Neon Knights(Supernaut and Holy Diver) vs. Neil(ENHANCE) and Tracy Finn
Dreadful showing for the Knights, who really should have had better situational awareness and urgency here, but Holy Diver still put Neil away with a classic dragon backbreaker for the win, albeit at the 34:16 mark.
Zanca with Young Blood, Jeremy Wylde and Jeffrey Janson vs. Sylvain "Pay Day" Mint with Shrieking Sheik, Elise Pichon and Bodybreaker Brown
Zanca may not have been the superior wrestler for most of this match, as Sylvain Mint clearly was the better grappler for long stretches, but a quick cutter would turn things around in a moment, giving the stuntman a win going into the PEWA's Most Hated's Crew Carnage match at Lariats.
---
Match of the Night: Sheik and Ndour vs. The Sheridans -A fairly easy award to issue here, with the Sheridan Bros. putting on a remarkably cohesive, competitve showing against the PEWA Extreme champ and the top challenger for the belt.
Performer of the Night: Backyard Pyro -With a brutal knockout win over Demarcus Browning, Pyro is now the Ruler of the Road, and the Performer of the Night.
---
Injury Report
Demarcus Browning: Unknown (Likely concussion) -Browning suffered a knockout loss after a wrist clutch burning hammer, and while his medical information was not publically released, due to being a guest performer, Browning did miss his Sakura Pro Grand Prix match later in the night, and seems to be on the shelf for the immediate future.
