The only think Oklahoma should really apologize for is for that ridiculous panhandle. Second only to the country of Namibia. Look at The Gambia! It's an OOPS ALL PANHANDLE situation if I've ever seen one. NUH UH Y'ALL CAN'T HAVE OUR RIVER

I feel like Senegal and The Gambia were in one of those sitcom situations where they divide the apartment in half with the line going down the middle and then one of them realizes the only bathroom is on the other side of the line. Except instead of the bathroom its a river. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ThisIsMySide

It kinda gets me that there's actually a brand of cigarettes called This. Like, how low on ideas were they the day they coined that one?

So, I found out I've been to Chicago before. Unfortunately I was too young to remember it. Just kinda been thinking about that since I learned that.

So, I found out I've been to Chicago before. Unfortunately I was too young to remember it. Just kinda been thinking about that since I learned that. I don't have too many memories of family road trips (which were ALWAYS to visit relatives) but one of my fondest is going to my mom's hometown of Chicago when I was 7 and going into the Field Museum of Natural History. Our big museum in Kansas City is dedicated to art and though the collection is actually impressive for being in a less touristy locale, it doesn't leave quite the impression of seeing actual dinosaur skeletons, at least not to a 7 year-old. I remember that we were supposed to go to the adjacent Shedd Aquarium to see whales (among many other animals) but it didn't work out because I think we went on the wrong day or something.
I went back to Chicago when I was 16 and that was a bit of a disaster but I haven't been since, which is a shame since I'm sure it's a much different experience as an adult.

I just saw a dude jogging in a pair of American flag short shorts. Don Frye would be proud.
