Hello again, everyone. Like many of us, I am collector of all things Wrestling related. Figures, games, magazines, books, etc). For the past seven years, I've been photographing many of my collectibles; which eventually inspired me to start a blog (click HERE) on the subject. 230+ blog entries and thousands of photos later, I've now begun a Youtube channel as well. The first two videos can be seen below:

Brody was just released two days ago.
There's also a bronze version that was given away two weeks ago as part of the AJPW 50th anniversary contest.

For months, getting hold of The Great Kabuki's brand new 'Poisonous Fog' variant was a nightmare. But, I finally got one!
The normal version (left) pays tribute to Kabuki's facepaint worn during Kabuki's 'KABUKI - THE FINAL' retirement match in 2017. The 'Poisonous Fog' version is designed after one of Kabuki's early face paint designs from the 1980's.
Back when GoodSmile Shop announced Kabuki as part of the 16d Collection last July, the Poisonous Fog variant's (on the right) pre-order sold out immediately. Though, that didn't stop certain eBay sellers from selling them in sets for up to $400. Ouch.
Luckily, prices have gone down, and GoodSmile shop has since added the poisonous version for sale. Definitely the coolest looking Kabuki figure released to date.

Along with being a long-time collector myself, I have also taken great pride in selling pieces of Wrestling memorabilia to other collectors over the years. One of my favourite items to collect are Japanese Shikishi boards. In Japan, Shikishi boards are the standard for collecting Wrestler autographs dating back to the dawn of Puroresu. The earliest (and most valuable) examples being signed by Rikidozan himself at the height of his Wrestling career.
Today, I'm proud to offer this very special double autograph piece.
This autograph piece was personally signed by Mitsuharu Misawa (left) and Kenta Kobashi (right) in 1993 for All Japan Pro-Wrestling's '93 Real World Tag Team League. The hard-backed 8x11 large size autograph includes the stamped dates 11/13 - 12/3 (November 13th to December 3rd, 1993), which were the dates in which the '93 tag league ran.

Today's Pro-Wrestling find is an original facepaint kit from the early 90's: New Japan Pro-Wrestling Prowrestlers Face Paint Set The packaging features Great Muta and The Hellraisers (Hawk and Power Warrior). The set comes with three colours: red, blue and black. Quite frankly, I feel the set should have included green paint instead of blue, as Power Warrior's design is impossible to create with the provided colours. Instead of painting instructions, the set includes a foldout mini poster featuring the popular 90's era NJPW artwork of both Muta and The Hellraisers.

In the past several months, I have slowly begun the process of rebuilding my Wrestling figure collection. One of the thrills of doing so has been the ability to track down rare figures that I never had the chance of owning the first time around. Such was the case with these Great Muta figures: Great Muta - Darth Muta (red and black)
Great Muta - Mech. Muta (black and silver)
Great Muta - Spider Muta (pink and gold). As limited editions, each of the see-through variants were produced in smaller numbers (most often, less than 1000 of each). The first two (Spider and Mech) were
released in 2003, while the Darth Muta example was produced in 2005.

Japanese Wrestling figures are an addiction of mine. Specifically soft vinyl (sofubi) ones: HAO Collection Stan Hansen, Jushin Thunder Liger, Great Muta and the more-recent 16d Collection Andre The Giant.

Don't mind my old logo, but some of the coolest Wrestling collectibles I've owned are two authentic Ribera jackets. Both were owned by the late Goro Tsurumi; a former All Japan, Indie booking veteran. Goro signed the logo of the right jacket. I remember the jackets smelled of something like cheap cigars when I got them. Bruiser's Autograph with a 1980's Pro-Wrestling issue featuring him on the cover. Masked Superstar (Bill Eadie) Japanese autograph. The Original Sheik Ed Farhat autograph and photo combo. Abdullah The Butcher self portrait & autograph. The photo was sold during Abby's retirement ceremony in Japan back in 2019; during the 20th anniversary event of Giant Baba's passing. Dory Funk Jr. and Terry Funk autograph with 1980's magazine.

Crazy shit, what a collection! The Shiek’s card should have been singed and covered in blood splatters!
The Ribera jackets are the best, I’ve always loved those things, and the fact they stunk like shitty cigars makes it that much better! Museum quality shit, thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Geese. Some of the friends I have over call my place a Japanese Pro-Wrestling museum. The Sheik's autograph was from a FMW sweepstakes. Presumably, it was one of the last auto's Farhat signed before his passing in 2003. All Japan Pro-Wrestling were synonymous with tour souvenirs. The true highlight of which were always the group autographs. The below example is an uncommon supersized example from the '89 Real World Tag League. Signatures included: Abdullah The Butcher Tiger Jeet Singh Genichiro Tenryu Toshiaki Kawada Jumbo Tsuruta The Great Kabuki Dynamite Kid Stan Hansen The Nasty Boys Giant Baba Dory Funk Jr. etc. The 1997 Tag league multi-autograph is another amazing piece containing the signatures of: Kenta Kobashi Johnny Ace Mitsuharu Misawa Stan Hansen Bobby Duncum Jr. Steve Williams Gary Albright Justin Bradshaw Barry Windham Hayabusa Jinsei Shinzaki Giant Kimala Toshiaki Kawada Akira Taue etc... For lovers of FMW memorabilia. Ring-used Cactus Jack t-shirt from 1996.

These two auto's cost me well over a thousand dollars years ago. The first is an autograph by the late Bruiser Brody; signed in 1982 after a show in Korakuen Hall while teaming with Jimmy Superfly Snuka. The second autograph was signed by the original Tiger Mask Satoru Sayama. Sayama signed this piece with three of his personas (Tiger Mask. the short-lived UWF gimmick 'The Tiger', and as himself). Mini Shikishi boards from 1993, used to promote the release of Zen Nippon Pro-Wrestling on the Super Famicom. The autographs were signed by Mitsuharu Misawa (left) & Giant Baba (right). Double-signed autograph by Big Van Vader and Stan Hansen. With the bloody finger prints on the board, this autograph may have been signed after the duo's legendary eye gouge match! Stan Hansen and Giant Baba double-signed autograph from the All Japan '94 tag league. Classy Freddy Blassie Japanese signature. Blassie wrote his last name in Japanese Katakana at the bottom. Tiger Mask II (Mitsuharu Misawa) autograph with 1980's debut issue. Earthquake Big John Tenta rookie signature from when he first joined All Japan Pro-Wrestling.

In 2022, All Japan Pro-Wrestling celebrated their 50th anniversary. As part of the festivities, several specialized soft vinyl figures were created. The figures were never available in stores; the only way to acquire them was through a lottery. The figures are: Jumbo Tsuruta, Giant Baba (bronze) Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody. & a special gold Giant Baba that came with the Triple Crown belt accessories. Around the same time, a special bronze version of the Antonio Inoki figure was also produced to commemorate the passing of Inoki that same year.

Early 1980's Keshigomu/Eraser figures from Japan. Some of which, remained the only figure treatment for certain Wrestlers for many years.

Probably the first bendies in the world of Professional Wrestling. Figures of Giant Baba and Jumbo Tsuruta from the 1970's, created by a Japanese toy company called GREAT. Abdullah The Butcher seen eating a Giant Baba bendie on the cover of a Japanese Pro-Wrestling magazine from 1979. A few more of my HAO Collection figures from over the years.
