Stardust Cowboy - Stardust Cowboy arrived in TSP after answering a call from Lee Gold Senior. Hailing from northern Texas, this hired gun has managed to win the Southeastern States Memorial Title and has been undefeated since arriving.
Leo Corino - The "true" Mr. Tennessee is one of the newest members of the villainous Tennessee Mafia. Recruited by Dr. Daniel Jones out of college, the University of Florida graduate was an All American wrestler and track and field star. Corino tied the record for quickest dojo graduation. Corino is one of the most hated wrestlers in TSP despite his undeniable in ring talent. The sky is, unfortunately for us, the limit for this young superstar.
Tennessee Mafia: Fancy Jones & Gerald Smithly - Fancy Jones and Gerald Smithly were middling wrestlers in TSP and southeastern indies before meeting Dr. Daniel Jones. Since coming together, the team has been the most dominate tag team in all of TSP and its partner promotions. They have defeated nearly every team and won nearly every tag title there is to win. They "stole" the title from the Buddy Brothers and broke Ted Buddy's neck with a piledriver. Despite being bastards, fans like to see them wrestle and love to see them lose.

Oh I'll share the edits with you when they are done so you can see what I did with them 😄 Katakuri- Hailing from Okinawa, Japan, Katakuri is a recent discovery. One night after an Astral Ark show on the island, TSP were stunned to see a young man run into the busy bar and attack a table of celebrating business men. Despite being outnumbered the young man viciously and impressively took out the entire group before being restrained by police. TSP officials, impressed but also worried, made a deal with local authorities to release the young man if they promised to remove him from the island. Katakuri was then sent back to Osaka to train with a recently arrived Robert Flippo and Matsu Toki. Katakuri took all this uncontrolled change in good spirits. When asked why he attacked the business men, Katakuri was quoted "How else was I gonna get you to notice me. It also was fun. I had fun breaking them." That's such a weird coincidence. I have a specific plan that ties together Katakuri, DP's Hijo del Wolf, and an edit I made last year. The plan revolves around a bar but less upscale than the one Katakuri was found at. Your backstory for him works perfectly and he's such a threat, the authorities basically exiled him! 😎 |

I wanted to clarify something with everyone in the draft. When I submitted edits, I put up my entire roster. I don’t have as much time to run shows, write posts and engage with the community as I would like to. I was breaking up TSP as it was and trying to make it into something better and more manageable for myself.
That said I was looking at the draft as the edits were free agent and going to different territories but still had a home with me. I would retain my original versions while the drafted versions would go off and have new looks, names and whatever the person drafting them decided.
If you drafted my edit and want sole ownership of them going forward, I don’t want to take that from you and the edit is now yours. If it is okay for me to continue booking ans using my original edit albeit in my usual on-off non consistent manner let me know.
I’m sorry for the confusion and for possibly going against the nature of the draft.

Thank you for your post and clarification. I really don't think you went against the nature of the draft. At the worst, there was some initial ambiguity or confusion as to whether or not you intended on continuing to book your edits once they were put up for the draft and drafted by others. I was initially under the impression you were ending your feds and offering your edits. But I see now that you intended them as "free agents" to also be used by us in addition to your feds. That changes what I thought you were intending.
But it really doesn't change my view of how much value we got by drafting them. It doesn't hurt my feds to have you still use the edits/characters that you created and used for years. It hurts my feds even less if I change the edits names/personality/backstory/etc. That's my view of it, at least.
And actually, now that I see this:
You did ask about whether or not us modifying the edits would change your original versions. So we at least knew you were still going to use your edits even if we weren't sure about you booking them.
In any case, I don't think you did anything wrong here that goes against the nature of the draft. And I don't think your desire to still book your edits is wrong while allowing us to use "free agent" versions that we modify in any way that we want and essentially turn into new edits if we want.
Personally, I want you to continue to book the edits I drafted of yours now that I fully know your original intentions. It's not like you are taking the edits back or anything. You aren't saying that we can't use them. You are just saying that you still want to use the ones you created and that continuing to use them was your original intention even if it wasn't stated as clearly at the start. No one is actively getting hurt here by you still booking your edits while we use our free agents versions in our feds. But you would be hurt if you couldn't book your original versions anymore in your feds.
I honestly feel the same way for DP's edits too. Some of his characters he's had for years and I feel weird not giving him the opportunity to still use them in his fed if he wants to. I actually got a little sad last week when he said something like "this may be the last promo I write for Sidney Peacock" or something like that.
Maybe there's a sentimental fancy lad in all of us 😥
I think a pretty good rule of thumb for these draft situations are:
- If you created new edits just for this draft then they should be exclusive to those who drafted them.
- If you are offering edits/characters that you've had for a while, you should still have the option to hold onto them. I wouldn't want you to not have access to use them anymore.
That's just my thoughts on it.
It's not an actual formal rule, just a suggestion that I came up with due to this situation. I think it probably makes sense for everyone who drafted your edits to just talk to you about this and work out something. As I said, I encourage you to still use all the edits of yours that I drafted. But I can't speak for others.

As long as your cool with me doing whatever with your creations, I really don't care what you do with them. I am just trying to expand my rosters out with some premade edits I think are cool. So all my draft picks are up for being changed in anyway, I'm thinking about time portaling some to the past with my origin fed YLWA. If you don't care about that I want to continue using yours as is I don't care. I don't have to have continuity with what I'm doing and what others are doing.
I guess my shoot fed is where I care the most but honestly as long as others let me use their edits they don't have to recognize what happens in that but I do try to respect others cannon with that one since it's made up of a lot of other creators edits.

I have no issue with anyone using my drafted edits in anyway for their needs. You can change the name, appearance, gender, sex, whatever. No one has to use the history/origins of the edit I am sharing either. I provide that for those interested and getting it onto the page and out of my brain.

I am always happy to share ownership. And any edits I might make may be usually only logic changes to "flow" with my edits and maybe an occasional move change (keep the move/style of move you selected, but maybe I like a different version say of a suplex). I actually have a couple of your edits planned to debut in my eFed I have been recording and posting over in the eFed section probably in three weeks or so. For my next pick, I will pick another TSP edit - Nick Devon! That'll put ravenbrighid up! |

Fly*ing Matsumoto: The man of a thousand cuts. Matsumoto started in a small-time deathmatch promotion going nowhere. To attract attention to himself, he moved to Alabama. He started going to LCW shows and attacking wrestlers during their entrances. Instead of getting this reckless wrestler arrested, Mr. Leather decided to give the guy a shot. Since then, Matsumoto has earned the name Fly*ing after being thrown off (he would say he jumped off) a building during a match with Cults Kawasaki. He has since become a fan favorite for being able to take massive amounts of punishment. Many wonder if something is wrong with him.
Mistress Angora: Former BDSM dominatrix and foot model, Mistress Angora joined the wrestler world to grow her brand with a new audience. Pain and pleasure are often only a breath away.
Doji O-Ushi: Doji grew up loving two things. Wrestling and mushrooms. After finishing high school, Doji told her professional mushroom farming family she was leaving Kyushu and moving to the big city of Osaka to be a pro wrestler. Despite their worry, she was granted her go and soon found herself in Matsu Toki's dojo. Despite being the smallest and least experienced wrestler in the class, Toki liked her, especially when his own daughter became Doji's first fan. Since graduating, Doji has made her way across several small regional indies in Japan and Korea but recently signed an open contract with Blood Blossom Wrestling. Despite her size, she was the first wrestler
in 2 years to pin Andrea Giantess clean. Immense power in a small package, just like a mushroom!
