Candace Monroe "Something's gonna change, one way or another. I won the World Cup and here I am, suddenly having trouble keeping my focus, keeping myself on track... that's gonna change. It has to, if I'm gonna be put up against one-half of the Bingo Hall Mutants, if I'm gonna face a World Champion next month, if I'm going to get anywhere right now... this is where it's got to start or I'll never get what I'm after.
And don't think I'm ignoring everything that's been said about me lately. I'll deal with that when the time comes." Leona Sterling "Think I'm afraid of stepping in against someone who hasn't lost one-on-one yet? Think I'm intimidated, that I'm gonna hesitate? You've seen what I've done lately, seen who I'm capable of beating and what I can do in that ring. Doesn't matter what size difference I'm looking at, doesn't matter what style you fight... I just went to fuckin' war, bloodied but nowhere near beaten. If you want to stop me from getting to the top again... you'd damn well better show me everything you've got next week. Because this is the one. The next time I come for a championship, no matter which one it might be... I won't quit until it's mine." Kanjirin Tonorian "Lucky you, catching an opportunity of a lifetime, a chance to see what a World Champion's all about on my off week. I got plenty of time ahead of me right now... I step in to take on this resident ghost, prove I got just as much power and threat as Shogun, come back home to Phoenix Rising to beat the shit out of Kileas Kintelas... and then, what do you know? My schedule's wide open for the next month until I put little Candace Monroe down. So here's what you do... you watch. You wait. And if you think you've got what it takes to bring down the most dominant force in Phoenix Rising... if you think you can step up against the greatest champion on the face of the earth today... all you gotta do is step up and give your challenge. No matter where, no matter when... You'll get a taste of it, first-hand."

Episode #8 Results Quick Results Kanjirin Tonorian (Phoenix Rising) defeated The Headless Holdsman Leona Sterling (Phoenix Rising) defeated Zak Hayes Keith Van Horne (Wrestle Parade) defeated Mega Meat (Wrestle Parade) Ruthless Nicole Alger (UCSS) defeated Edhem Yavas Candace Monroe (Phoenix Rising) defeated Rampage Rage (PEWA) Tom Balls defeated Jordan Wright Darren O'Keenan drew with Owen McNeill Bartholomew van Cash defeated Landon Balls
Write Ups Kanjirin Tonorian is a monster. Even with some questionably placed stomps and curious attempts at headbutts, Kanjirin took it to Butterfloor’s resident headless specter. Just before the ten minute mark, Pure Gold’s leader dropped the ghost with a spiral jackhammer and left the spirit motionless on the mat, wisps slowly drifting from the unmoving spirit. Kanjirin is now the second inductee into the Headless Hall of Fame, and with a statement win at that. The man is expected to go back home and face Kileas Kintelas soon, but one question is clear in everyone’s mind: If the supernatural can’t stop Kanjirin, who or what can? As expected from the old collegiate wrestler and MMA champ, the two displayed some impressive technical wrestling on the mat. What was perhaps less expected was when the two transitioned into something of a striking shoot out, with Leona’s MMA background clearly giving her an edge. Finally, Leona once again went to the mat, and wrestled Zak into multiple Guillotines for the tap. Unfortunately for Zak, he will not be continuing on the singles title shot short list this time around. The contrast of styles worked out a lot better for Keith Van Horne tonight. Mega Meat was unable to get much of his own lucha-style offense going, while Keith was able to tire the big man out with multiple suplexes. Finally, Keith landed his signature “angled” suplex for the win, securing his position on the short list. This was a match many would have pegged RNA to be the underdog by circumstance alone, let alone Edhem’s dominant record compared to her own shakier singles record. And after Edhem drew blood with a well-placed palm strike two minutes in, you might be forgiven for writing the match off. Still, Alger persevered, wisely going for targeted elbow strikes to Edhem’s arms, instead of submission holds that he could have easily slipped out of. After the long process of wearing the oil wrestler’s arms down, Alger went for her signature Armrippers, and Edhem finally submitted after several of them. With that, Ruthless Nicole Alger locks in her place on the short list, and she will face Keith Van Horne next week to see who will face Lexie Barrett for the singles title the week after that. Candace was looking for some redemption and a rebound this week, and she might have gotten it. Outside of a cheeky — and very surprising — stolen jumping bomb, Candace went for her usual strategy of attacking the legs. As the match went on, Rampage Rage got noticeably slower. Rampage Rage hit some of his own signature moves, including the Splash of Rage, and at one point was significantly ahead in the pin count race. But Monroe fought on, closing that gap, before getting the tap with own signature Monroe Knee Lock. Despite her future title opponent’s incredibly dominant win earlier in the night, the other Limbtaker made her own statement win. Beating Rampage Rage despite the size disadvantage is hopefully a good omen for her looking forward towards her title shot. Despite Jordan “Longguy” Wright’s dominance so far, Tom Balls was able to come out on top. He avoided most of Wright’s most dangerous moves, and taking a page out of his younger brother’s book, went for multiple beatdowns close up to negate the Longguy’s reach advantage. Finally, the elder Balls brother went for a facebuster into a sitting super kick for the win (much to the disappointment of many people on the Internet). Well, for better or for worse, it seems like Darren O’Keenan and Owen McNeill won’t be getting a conclusive end to their feud this time around. The two started off the match with some harsh taunting, and sometimes it felt like the two were more focused on talking trash during the match rather than actually wrestling. I could talk about the stylistic difference during the match, but what really matters is the ending. As the countout loomed, Darren O’Keenan did not attempt to reenter the ring, but instead went for what could be only described as a kissing prank. The twenty count struck as the two broke the kiss, and the match ended pathetically… but perhaps fittingly. Going into this match, the two teams were tied at three wins, three losses, and two draws each. It was all on the line in this match. No one is really sure if Bartholomew van Cash has been in over fifty street fights, but if he has, that experience paid off. van Cash drew blood with an elbow strike within the first minute, putting the younger Balls brother on the back foot from the start. The two brawled all over the ring, sometimes upright, sometimes on the mat, but the other bat man seemed to maintain the advantage the whole time. Landon Balls tried to take it with one of his usual punching combinations, and almost succeeded. But in the end, Bartholomew van Cash pushed his brawling advantage to the end, getting the tap with a camel clutch. With that win, Bartholomew van Cash wins the feud, both for his team and for himself. Will we see any of the feud participants in the ring again? The possibility remains open, but for now, they will no longer be regulars on Butterfloor’s weekly broadcast.

Something of an embarrassment for the bookers, this card is. You'll find out why later. But despite the odds, we managed to put together the card for Butterfloor Episode #9. Odin Brockhouse versus Concrete Pete (Evergreen) Starting off the show is something perhaps unusually violent for Butterfloor. Despite Pete’s success both in Evergreen and as current tag champion of Butterfloor, he is the only B.E.C. member yet to win a singles match in Butterfloor. Meanwhile, while Odin looked particularly vicious in his previous match against Leona, he still lost. For novelty’s sake, the match will have rules closer to Pete’s home fed, with no DQ or rope breaks, although Butterfloor’s infamous countouts will still be in play. The Bingo Hall Mutants (Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah from PEWA) versus Rory Burton and Harrison Howard Despite having a storied history, the Bingo Hall Mutants took a sudden loss in their first tag appearance in Butterfloor. Meanwhile, the “unofficial official” Butterfloor team is coming back after a bit of a break, no doubt looking to prove themselves worthy of that title. Both teams here are looking to get their first win on the board here. Elle Barrett (Wacker Drive Revival) versus Bradley Carr Lexie’s aunt is back. She’ll be facing Butterfloor’s de-facto big guy, Bradley “Bradley Carr” Carr from the Bradley Carr stable. (Don’t ask, that’s just what’s written in my notes.) There’s no doubt Bradley has the strength advantage, but Elle has an immense experience advantage. We’ll see if that experience helps her navigate around Bradley’s size and shoot expertise. Aline Richelieu (UCSS) versus Drake Elliot IV (Wrestle Parade) Two refined opponents for this match. Both of them lost their previous match in Butterfloor, and so both of them will be looking for their first win here. Although Drake hasn’t seen many public appearances in recent memory, Aline had a few UCSS appearances… which were also losses. Cody Sheppard versus Trinity Knight (Blackwood Academy) After Blackwood Academy had a showcase match, Cody Sheppard suddenly pushed to have his “rematch” against Trinity Knight. Honestly, the timing of the match is kinda weird. Trinity said in her post-zombie attack promo that she wanted to be winning before her return, and she lost said showcase match. And while Cody has had some tag success, he hasn’t had many singles matches lately. Still, Cody insisted, and it would be nice to actually have that match. Fingers crossed for no zombies this time. Elizabeth “Liz” McKenna versus Anaba Camacho (UCSS) versus Mallory Spaulding (Phoenix Rising) Liz just can’t stop getting into suplex pissing contests. In Butterfloor’s first ever three-way free for all, she’ll be taking on UCSS’s Anaba Camacho and Phoenix Rising’s Mallory Spaulding. While Liz and Anaba are roughly the same size (Anaba is three inches taller but Liz is two pounds heavier), Mallory has a clear height and weight advantage over both of them. But can she enforce that advantage against two opponents instead of one? Les Beautes Blondes/The Privileged (Revon Beauregard and Michelle Rochefort from Wrestle Parade/Phoenix Rising) versus The American Apex (Keith Van Horne and Lamont Aldren from Wrestle Parade) Hey, remember when we said Keith Van Horne versus Ruthless Nicole Alger was going to be on this week? Well, our booking staff has no foresight and booked themselves into a corner. Instead, RNA will move on as the next singles title contender, facing Lexie Barrett next week. Keith will remain on the short list for the next singles title cycle. Anyway, for the next tag titles shot, these two teams entered Butterfloor under very different pretenses. Revon and Michelle came in as part of the strangely growing number of French people trying to win free butter, while Keith and Lamont came here for the shoot competition. No one knows for sure who will win, but one thing the B.E.C. have shown in Butterfloor is that butterlust is a powerful motivator… Cody Sheppard “I don’t know. Watching that match, something rubbed me the wrong way. I’m trying to shake it off, but I just can’t. I just have to know for myself. Because if it is the worst case scenario… I can’t help but feel responsible. I don’t know. Maybe I’m a fool, and I’ll find out in that match. But I need to know for sure. I’d much rather that than the alternative.”

Trinity Knight "Whole lot of people wondering about me lately. Y'know, ever since the last time I went over to Butterfloor and had that incident happen. So lemme get this perfectly clear: Far as the medics told me, far as I can tell myself, I'm fine. And if you wanna tell me otherwise because of what happened at the Academy house show earlier this month... oh, please. Like I'm the only one on this show that might bite the hell outta someone. Just look at what they got for their opener.
Anyway, as for Cody Sheppard, yeah, I'm looking forward to actually getting a proper match. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna try and crank his arm out of its socket. But I'll finally get to see what he's got." Mallory Spaulding "One week after Kanjirin made history. Two nights after what should be my own moment of triumph, because I intend to crush three other people and become Pacific Northwest Champion. I'll step into the ring with a pair of women who consider themselves suplex experts the same as me.
Let me remind you just what you're stepping into. I'm part of Pure Gold, the single most dominant force in Phoenix Rising. I'm one of the strongest, most dangerous people in the world today because of my suplex prowess. You're putting me in the ring with two people who want to try and beat me at my own game.
Unfortunately for the both of you, there is no one... no one better at this than I am. And I'll damn well prove it Wednesday night."

Episode #9 Results Quick Results Concrete Pete (Evergreen) defeated Odin Brockhouse The Bingo Hall Mutants (Rampage Rage and Skullface Killah from PEWA) defeated Rory Burton and Harrison Howard Bradley Carr defeated Elle Barrett (Wacker Drive Revival) Aline Richelieu (UCSS) and Drake Elliot IV (Wrestle Parade) defeated three zombies Trinity Knight (Blackwood Academy) defeated Cody Sheppard Elizabeth “Liz” McKenna defeated Anaba Camacho (UCSS) and Mallory Spaulding (Phoenix Rising) Les Beautes Blondes/The Privileged (Revon Beauregard and Michelle Rochefort from Wrestle Parade/Phoenix Rising) defeated The American Apex (Keith Van Horne and Lamont Aldren from Wrestle Parade)
Write-Ups At first, the match seemed surprisingly tame, with no foul play in sight. But then, it seemed as if a switch flipped, and both Odin and Pete went at each other. In the end, Pete’s greater hardcore experience (and actual focus on winning the match) won out in the end. The Bingo Hall Mutants might have had a rocky start in Butterfloor, but tonight was a demonstration of why they’re such a storied and feared team. They were in control the whole match, and landed a tag team powerbomb in their corner for an easy win. Meanwhile, changing their team order was not enough for the “unofficial official” team, and they’re going to need to figure out what to change if they want to start winning. A strong technical showing from both competitors. Many times Bradley would try to start something on the mat, but Elle would stop it or turn it around. Pin and counterpin attempts aplenty came from both Elle and Bradley, but it would be a surprise pivot to anaconda choke that would give Carr the tap. At first, the audience was surprised at how much both Aline and Drake dressed up. It seemed like they were going to some high-class function than a wrestling match. But then the bigger surprise appeared as the wrestling dead rose once more. It was a bloody and drawn-out affair. Finally, Aline left one motionless on the mat with a powerful kick. Unfortunately for her, what goes around comes around, and one of the zombies would trap her to the mat and nearly ate her face off, leaving her bleeding out on the mat. To make matters worse, another zombie emerged, putting a bloody and tired Drake in a one-versus-two. But right after the ref shooed the newcomer zombie out, Drake took advantage and rolled up the last remaining zombie. Both Drake and Aline were rushed to medical as soon as it was safe for staff to run in. Both are expected to spend some time in quarantine, but the extent of the damage is still unknown, especially for Aline. In what could either be seen as extremely good or extremely bad timing, Cody and Trinity finally got their one-on-one. Trinity, perhaps extra-eager to prove herself after both her infamous previous appearance and a loss in a recent Academy showcase match, worked Cody’s arms intensely during the match while stifling much of his offense. Despite her dominant victory, what will likely be the focal point is when Trinity bit Cody hard enough to draw blood, and then laughed about it. Social media is already arguing about whether it was a tasteless bad joke, especially right after Aline was potentially seriously injured in similar fashion, or a harmless way to bring some levity into the room after what just happened. And of course, there are those speculating that Trinity might not be as all right as everyone, herself included, thinks… While many people focused on the suplex prowess of all three women going into the match, much of the match actually revolved around their matwork prowess. Despite Mallory landing what seemed to be more power throws compared to Anaba or Liz, she would tap to Liz’s spinning choke and be eliminated first. After that, Anaba and Liz both fought for position on the mat and traded suplexes, but it would be one particularly nasty belly-to-back that would leave Anaba out cold and Liz as the last woman standing. For much of the match, both teams seemed even. Pin attempts were broken up. Neither team could get a momentum advantage. Both teams had their share of brilliant spots… and less than brilliant errors. But in the final moments, two major moments happened. Keith had Revon in the Apex corner, and suplexed him off the ropes and head-first into a chair. But neither of them was the legal wrestler. Meanwhile, with Keith occupied, Michelle landed a backdrop onto Lamont for an uncontested three count for the win. With this, Michelle and Revon will go forward to face the Butter Enthusiast Coalition next week for the tag titles.

Once again, the titles are on the line, along with a talent debut. Will we continue to have our title matches every five episodes? I don't know, but I can tell you the card for Butterfloor Episode #10! Victor Van Banning (PEWA) versus The Headless Holdsman PEWA’s resident vampire hunter has had enough of the supernatural shenanigans of Butterfloor’s undead residents. While Van Banning might not be as imposing as the current two members of the Headless Hall of Fame, there’s no doubt his specialized experience gives him a unique edge. But are vampire hunting and ghost busting really all that similar, and even if they are, will it be enough to best the headless specter? Sam Horne versus Tristan Pacheco Now that our bookers don’t have to deal with three matches a week being eaten up, we have space to showcase more of our talent. Both Sam Horne and Tristan Pacheco have been out of the ring for a while, but Horne is coming back from a loss while Pacheco is returning from a win. Is this finally where Pacheco can start to turn his reputation around? Drake Elliott IV (Wrestle Parade) versus Rory Burton Drake had a statement victory over the zombie hordes last week, a victory so critical he’s garnered a new nickname in “the Technician Supreme.” But such a nickname must be substantiated, and to that end, he’s up against a very motivated Rory Burton, looking to end a five-match loss streak across both singles and tag matches. Mallory Spaulding (Phoenix Rising) versus Bradley Carr Mallory Spaulding’s first attempt to throw her weight around in Butterfloor might not have panned out, but it hasn’t stopped her from trying again. This time she’s challenging Butterfloor’s de-facto big guy, but maybe he isn’t the big guy anymore. From Bradley’s side, this is the first time he’s facing someone taller and heavier than he is, but no less experienced in for-realsies wrestling. (Although, when you look at them side-by-side, Bradley seems taller. Maybe he slouches less?) Can Bradley still win with a size disadvantage, against an irate and motivated Spaulding looking to nip a loss streak in the bud? Candace Monroe (Phoenix Rising) versus Priya Mallaya (Valkyrie Pro) Despite Butterfloor’s brand revolving around shootwork, poor Candace has never gotten a singles match against a shoot-focused opponent despite her teammate RNA and her rival Leona getting multiple… and that trend is going to continue for this show. (Next time, Candace. The bookers pinkie promise.) Anyway, in something of a prelude to the singles title, both tag partners of the singles title competitors will face off. Candace is looking to continue her momentum after bouncing back from a slump, while Priya is looking for her first win in Butterfloor. Hannes Lefeuvre versus Jamie Tomasi (UCSS) Tonight, Butterfloor will be debuting a new talent. Hannes Lefeuvre comes from the country of Borginia, a small country in northern Europe. Despite it’s Baltic location, it’s culture has incredibly strong Middle Eastern influences. Hannes is a practioner of German ju-jitsu, and seeks to spread awareness of the martial art. For his debut match, he will face off well-known Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner Jamie Tomasi, from UCSS. Les Beautes Blondes/The Privileged (Revon Beauregard and Michelle Rochefort from Wrestle Parade/Phoenix Rising) versus The Butter Enthusiast Coalition (Concrete Pete from Evergreen and Big Bubba Bob from TIPWF) One would think these teams could not be more different. And for the most part, that is true. The blondes have demonstrated a significantly more technical style than the raw mass of the big boys. And yet, both teams share a common primary motivation for being here. Not prestige or title hunting, but free butter. Many people credit the B.E.C.’s upset victories to their hunger-induced motivation, but can they hold onto the titles against a team who share that drive? Ruthless Nicole Alger (UCSS) versus Lexie Barrett Ruthless Nicole Alger has had a shaky singles career in recent memory, winning her matches one week and losing them the next. But she’s persevered through many difficult matches, here in Butterfloor and elsewhere, and been rewarded for her efforts with a shot at Butterfloor’s singles title. Contrast that against Lexie Barrett’s near meteoric rise in Butterfloor. A supreme underdog with no formal training, she nevertheless won many of her singles matches, and similarly won the hearts of many. (Or maybe another organ all together, but that’s neither here nor there…) But many others are waiting for the other shoe to drop, convinced her success cannot last. For Alger, winning the title here would be the well-deserved payoff to all her hard work. For Barrett, a win would go a long way to showing her previous victory was not a fluke. And in true Butterfloor style, everyone expects it all to be settled down on the mat. Hannes Lefeuvre “Most people outside of my home corner of the world have never heard of German ju-jitsu. In fact, the second result if you search for “german ju-jitsu” is an joke site that is actually an advertisement for Brazilian jiu-jitsu! While I am not solely a German ju-jitsu practitioner, it only seemed right that my first match here be a showcase of my region’s traditional martial art. And what better style to face for my first match than the better known cousin, BJJ? I am grateful to Butterfloor for finding such a well-known practitioner for me to face. Now the world shall learn the true efficacy of German ju-jitsu.”
Lexie Barrett “It was a lot of fun watching Nicole do her thing in her last match. It’s good to know she knows her way around a lubed situation. Too many people lose control when lube gets involved. And that stamina! It’s no fun when it ends too soon. I hope we have a nice, long session together. “People are saying I don’t have a shot, that I’ll never get Nicole to tap. ‘There’s no way the porn star is going to beat the trained fighter.’ Well, they said that about my previous title match too, and look how that turned out. Besides, after everything I’ve done in my day job, I know a few ways to make a lady submit. If she wants to get on top of me on the mat, well… I’ll have you know I’m a very, very experienced bottom.”

Victor Van Banning Victor Van Banning: Throughout my life, I have made it my specific mission to rid the world of professional wrestling of the malign presences that have infected it for so long. The unique formulation between the elements of stagecraft and unrestrained violence in front of an unwitting crowd makes it a tempting target for the dreadful acolytes of the occult. We believe we live in an age where the blazing spotlight of science has revealed all truths, but yet, in the shadows, there yet remains the remnant of that which humanity could not purge from this plane of existence.
Van Banning: And as such, I now venture out to this organization, whimsically known as the Butterfloor, to confront a towering avatar of evil in the Headless Holdsman. While some have temporarily banished this vile entity, it remains to defy the laws of reality as it stalks the confines of the squared circle. I may not be able to succeed, but I will do everything in my power to banish this Holdsman for once and for all, to restore sanctity and sanity to the ring. No matter the result, it must be attempted, and I will hold nothing back in my efforts. --- Ruthless Nicole Alger Ruthless Nicole Alger: Alright. I need to make some things clear. Real clear. First thing, I've seen Lexie Barrett. Seen what she can do. She's got skills. Real flexible. Can handle about any position on the ground, standing, even. Doesn't let up at all. Really, whatever anyone says, I can tell she rolls on a regular basis, and rolls with some real good people. Hell, once this is over, I'll roll with her. Can always use some new partners to work with.
Dangerous Nicholas Alger: Hey, Nicole, you introducing some special friend to me?
RNA: Dad, I'm busy with a promo.
DNA: Look, I dunno what you're doing. But I really kinda wish I didn't hear that stuff. Doesn't sound like a wrestling promo. More like...um...never mind.
RNA: Um, dad, cut it out. So, yeah. Lexie. You're on top right now. But I'm ready to get on top for once.
DNA: Yeah, never mind your sorry old dad. Never mind his ears. Damn, I need bleach. Bleach for my brain! Yeah, I'm going for a walk. A long one. A real long one...
RNA: Yeah, go away and let me finish. Just like I'm gonna finish Lexie tonight when I get her in my mount. She's gonna scream when I lock in the finish. Scream real good. Because that's what'll happen when she finds herself with no other option but to submit. And when it comes to submitting people. I'm real, real good. --- Aline Richelieu Aline Richelieu: Laissez-moi parler de cette atrocité! It is an affront, an utter affront to a lady such as myself to mingle with such disgusting rotten little man things! And the very nerve they had to gnaw on my beautiful face! It would be entirely within my right to lay waste to this terrible, awful, organization that had such temerity to unleash such horrors upon me! But, for the valiant, noble efforts of a Dragon Prince, I would not be able to present this message on tonight! And as such, I do not wish to depart from this Butterfloor until I may again meet this diminutive, yet undeniably intriguing nobleman...but for any of the rest of you nauseating, oil-drenched peasants, do not dare to approach me, ever again!

Episode #10 Results Quick Results The Headless Holdsman defeated Victor Van Banning (PEWA) Tristan Pacheco defeated Sam Horne Rory Burton defeated Drake Elliott IV (Wrestle Parade) Bradley Carr defeated Mallory Spaulding (Phoenix Rising) Priya Mallaya (Valkyrie Pro) defeated Candace Monroe (Phoenix Rising) Hannes Lefeuvre defeated Jamie Tomasi (UCSS) The Butter Enthusiast Coalition (Concrete Pete from Evergreen and Big Bubba Bob from TIPWF) defeated Les Beautes Blondes/The Privileged (Revon Beauregard and Michelle Rochefort from Wrestle Parade/Phoenix Rising) Lexie Barrett defeated Ruthless Nicole Alger (UCSS)
Write-Ups To Van Vanning’s credit, his expertise in fighting the undead were clearly on display. Headless’ teleporting tricks were rendered mostly ineffective, with Van Banning routinely ready to respond. Unfortunately for the vampire hunter, the Headless Holdsman was too strong to take down simply by neutralizing one aspect of his strategy. It’ll take more preparation and strength to take down the ghost, but no one thinks Van Banning will give up so easily. For better or for worse, Tristan seems to have learned from his failures from the top rope. He mostly avoided jumping from the posts, and instead focused on his striking and suplex game, eventually winning the match with a roll up. Drake’s more conservative style on the mat unfortunately wasn’t enough to get him the win. While Drake landed a couple of impressive suplexes, Rory eventually won with a simple “rookie killer.” Aline was noticeably incensed at Drake’s loss. While she might have had some affection for her savior before, it seems likely she’s less taken with him now. Although, granted, no one’s sure how aware Drake was of her affections in the first place… Mallory wasted no time showcasing her strength, landing many, many suplexes throughout the entire match. However, Bradley Carr kept bring the match to the mat. While Mallory’s amateur days were on full display and she was able to keep up, in the end, Carr went again to the surprise spinning choke for the win. At the start of the match, it looks like Candace was following her normal strategy to an easy win. It would be hard to deny the disparity in prestige. Still, Priya kept the match competitive. The two traded finishers, Priya’s shining ass to Candace’s stunner, but neither woman won. Finally, after two flying butts from the corner, Priya posed as she got the pin. While this is undoubtedly a huge victory for Priya, it’s another concerning loss for Candace, who was just starting to get some momentum. Candace has got to find some solid ground, and find it fast. An impressive debut from Hannes. It was a bold strategy to contest a BJJ expert in the mount, but Hannes showed no hesitation in challenging Jamie on the mat. Nor did either competitor shy away from striking contests or throwing contests. In the end, Hannes landed a surprise low kick, before getting the pin. There had been some relatively fast matches during the night, but this was definitely not one of them. Both teams fought hard to keep the match in their corner, and much of the match was fought near one of the corner posts. The match had its share of humorous moments, from an error where Pete wildly overshot his dive, to the Privileged routinely breaking up the B.E.C.’s spots. Finally, the B.E.C. landed a surprising spot of spontaneous teamwork deep in their own corner for the win, and the title defense. From the start, RNA seemed to be in firm control, shutting Lexie out of any offense. But Lexie fought her way back, starting with her… unique submission technique to throw Nicole off balance. And it seemed to work, with the match becoming significantly closer; the two were now trading offense. At the ten minute mark, the match spilled outside, and when the two started wrestling on the floor, it almost lead to RNA getting counted out. But just in time, RNA managed to get back into the ring. Sensing opportunity, Lexie leaned into the two strategies that worked: trying to fluster Nicole and a potential countout. As the match heated up (in possibly more ways than one), Lexie threw RNA to the outside. There, she managed to tie up the challenger in an extended struggle, just long enough for a draw by countout, giving Lexie the defense by draw. Butterfloor’s infamous countouts had finally caught up to it. Many fans in attendance were upset at the underwhelming outcome; many others confused at who won. The general manager even had to come out to settle the matter. Lexie might have defended the title, but certainly not in a manner that endeared her to the fans.

Butterfloor is pleased to announce that next week will be the beginning of Butterfloor’s inaugural Mystery Tag Tournament! Some people are here to find a new tag partner. Some might be looking for a change of pace or new challenges. Some of them might be looking for love. Some of them are here just to get paid for five appearances minimum without having to worry about their performance. I don’t know; I’m not a mind reader. But what I can tell you is that you should expect a month of poorly synced intro sequences, unusual pairings, and surprise outcomes. The tournament will have five rounds of a Swiss-ish format. Participants will be seeded and then paired up accordingly. Each round after that, entrants will be matched with new tag partners and new opponents, based on score. After the group stage concludes, the top four scorers will pick tag partners, in order from highest to lowest, from the remaining pool of competitors. The four teams will then be placed into a simple single-elimination bracket. The winner of the tournament will get the next Butterfloor tag title shot! Now, Butterfloor is pleased to announce the entrants for this year’s tournament, which include two debuting Butterfloor talents! Bradley Carr Tristan Pacheco Sam Horne Hannes Lefeuvre Zhenka Streltsov (Debut) Arthur Evans (Debut) Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) Oleg Makos (UCSS) Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) Titania (Phoenix Rising) Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade) Dr. Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) Sonny Urquidez (Union of Shoot Wrestling Forces) Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) Zhenka Streltsov (portions translated from Russian) "I am Zhenka Streltsov. I have won many slapping contests. I am undisputed champion. Now I am looking for something new. <"I am not satisfied with remaining the best in slapping competition; I must push myself into new spaces. It may seem cliche to enter a contest and state from the outset you desire to be the champion, but I don’t see any point in pretense. However, I am just one man, and even I cannot vie for the tag title belts alone. I aim to see who synergizes with me perfectly in my quest for the tag titles.">
Arthur Evans "My name is Arthur Evans, but you probably already knew that from the countless infomercials and commercials I’ve done over the years. I’ve helped sell over two billion dollars worth of products over the years, from nonstick pans to quick-fix repair gadgets. And now I’m here to show you two of my greatest products ever: The spatula-fork hybrid, the Tridentula; and my famous meat-tenderizing gloves. But as someone who has worked in the pitchman space for decades, I know it’s not a solo job. Every pitchman needs a host to bounce off with to truly sell a product. I’ve worked with many different hosts in the past, and I’m hoping to find a partner that works with me just as well in the ring."

And so we enter both another title cycle, and the beginning of the first Mystery Tag Tournament. As a heads-up, to accommodate what management expects to be a longer show, the main Wednesday show will start at 10:15 PM EST instead of 10:30 throughout October. With that out of the way, here’s the card for Butterfloor Episode #11! Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) and Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) versus Tristan Pacheco and Sam Horne (Editor’s Note: When we asked our writing staff why they didn’t write anything for our tournament matches, they said, “How are we supposed to write a storyline for people who rarely or never interact? When we asked them if they could write something, they screamed, “You’ve already hamstrung our ability to write and book storylines two times in two months; go away!”) Trinity Knight (Blackwood Academy) versus Odin Brockhouse Off a strong proper first showing in Butterfloor, Trinity is looking to carry her momentum forward. Her opponent will be the goose, who we might say is looking to turn around a loss streak… if we believed he cared about winning more than administering angry beatdowns. While there’s little doubt Odin will go for his signature biting offense, hanging in the air is if Trinity will do the same, especially in the shadow of her last match. Bradley Carr and Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) versus Hannes Lefeuvre and Zhenka Streltsov
Abbie Jones (SWA) versus Priya Mallaya (Valkyrie Pro) While not televised, Abbie Jones’ match against Lexie Barrett during the Pan-African Tour was very well received, and ever since then Lexie has been looking for an opportunity to invite Abbie to Butterfloor. Instead of a rematch, Abbie will be facing Lexie’s regular tag partner in Priya, who is coming off a massive upset win against Candace Monroe, and at time of writing is scheduled to face Tina Remington at Valkyrie Pro. Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) and Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) versus Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade) and Arthur Evans
Leona Sterling (Phoenix Rising) versus Keith Van Horne (Wrestle Parade) For our last singles matches of the night, the first match of several throughout this month to determine the next singles title contender. Leona won both her matches during the last title cycle, while Keith Van Horne is carrying over his position on the short list after being passed over last time due to scheduling conflicts. Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) versus Titania (Phoenix Rising) and Oleg Makos (UCSS) Because of the tournament, Butterfloor will also be having another show on Thursday to get through more matches. This extra serving of butter will start at 9:30 PM EST. We’d write up a card, but it would just be “ TBD and TBD versus TBD and TBD” four times with no descriptions.

Episode #11 Results Quick Results Tristan Pacheco and Sam Horne defeated Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) and Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) Odin Brockhouse defeated Trinity Knight (Blackwood Academy) Hannes Lefeuvre and Zhenka Streltsov defeated Bradley Carr and Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) versus Abbie Jones (SWA) defeated Priya Mallaya (Valkyrie Pro) Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade) and Arthur Evans defeated Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) and Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) Keith Van Horne (Wrestle Parade) defeated Leona Sterling (Phoenix Rising) Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) defeated Titania (Phoenix Rising) and Oleg Makos (UCSS)
Write-Ups The first match of the Mystery Tag Tournament stayed relatively grounded despite two potential fliers in the match. Both sides seemed evenly matched until Tristan managed to corner Sonny in the Butterfloor team’s corner, getting a tap on the mat. Despite Odin brutalizing Trinity for the early portions of the match, Trinity did not try to bite back for much of the match. In fact, one might even think she was actively refraining from doing so. Instead, she fought through the beatdown and continued to aggressively target his arms, doing intense damage to them by the end of the match. However, Odin refused to tap, and perhaps in frustration, Trinity finally bit the goose back. Unfortunately for her, in her anger she may have lost focus, finally falling to a lariat from Odin for the pin. Scorpio Noche started the match out ambitious. Maybe too ambitious, with multiple whiffed cutter attempts and challenging a seasoned slapping competition champion to a strike exchange. Despite this, it would ultimately be Bradley Carr who would give up the match, as Hannes Lefeuvre wrestled him on the mat deep in Hannes’ corner, maneuvering into a triangle scissors for the win. As would be expected from two people tied to Lexie Barrett, this match had more than it’s share of shenanigans between both Abbie and Priya. Still, when the two weren’t making out in the ring, both displayed their own impressive technical prowess. Finally, Abbie landed a decisive backfist for the three count. With Lexie having invited Jones to Butterfloor, one can only wonder if she’s building a coalition of her own… While the doctor and the PR Proving Ground Top Prospect Champion put on a good showing, it would be the team of the two charismatic performers that would win. Both teams traded blows, everyone showing off their strengths. Late into the match, Ziggy would land his signature facebuster into the Rock’d-a-Fella on Dr.Hypnodra, and moments later Arthur would give a live product demonstration of his meat-tenderizing gloves on Sanya. Not long after, Ziggy would hit another big facebuster onto Dr.Hypnodra for the win. Both Ziggy and Arthur went into their own long post-victory shenanigans, and not even Sanya could stop Ziggy from finishing his spot. The bridesmaid jokes were funny before, but now they’re started to get a little depressing as Leona loses her place in this title shot cycle on Butterfloor, following two more failed title shots in Phoenix Rising. Sterling and Van Horne duked it out, with Leona trying to push her striking and matwork advantages while Keith landed multiple big suplexes. Leona fought her way to her signature Guillotine, but ended up in the ropes. Not long after, Keith hit one of his own signatures in the “diagonal” German suplex in the center for the win. While it’s only the first round of matches, “Shaka Zulu” is definitely a potential team up if Corbin or Lionheart make it to the top four. Despite the strong theming, Shaka and Zulu had a rough start, with Titania and Oleg seemingly displaying better teamwork. Both Shaka and Zulu had shaky records coming into the match, with Shaka’s lose streak so infamous he was even considered cursed. However, as the match carried on, the team found their stride, landing both a tag team powerbomb and double dropkick. Even with multiple ill-placed pins and a particularly embarassing whiffed spear, Shaka also managed to land The Move That Shaka’d the World on Titania. Not long after, Zulu forced Oleg to tap to a triangle spine lock, even deep in the enemy corner. Looking forward, the four matches for Thursday's minishow will be: Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) and Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) versus Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) and Oleg Makos (UCSS)
Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Arthur Evans versus Zhenka Streltsov and Sam Horne
Bradley Carr and Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) versus Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) and Titania (Phoenix Rising)
Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade) and Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) versus Hannes Lefeuvre and Tristan Pacheco

Extra Butter Results Quick Results Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) and Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) defeated Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) and Oleg Makos (UCSS) Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Arthur Evans defeated Zhenka Streltsov and Sam Horne Bradley Carr and Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) defeated Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) and Titania (Phoenix Rising) Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade) and Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) defeated Hannes Lefeuvre and Tristan Pacheco
Write Ups Duvall and Oleg showed some great teamwork in this match, landing multiple tag team powerbombs throughout the match and setting each other up in multiple spots. But it would be Noche’s and Sanya’s individual skill that would carry the match, with Sanya getting the win after his third Red Crush. For whatever reason, Horne had it out for Evans, routinely interrupting the pitchman whenever he started talking. Nevertheless, Shaka and Arthur’s teamwork combined with the efficacy of Arthur’s wares would prove too much. While Shaka had struggled with landing finishers in the enemy corner this week, a South African Slam in the center of the ring was just close enough for Arthur to provide the cover while Shaka got the three. Late into what had been an even match, Sonny caught fire and laid the pressure on a cornered Bradley, landing multiple combinations, suplexes, and armbars. But only minutes later would Bradley get the tap from Titania from his spinning choke, which is starting to grow in notoriety. One might have thought Ziggy out of his element in the ring with three other wrestlers keen on taking things to the mat. But Ziggy held his own, escaping the worst of Hannes and Tristan’s efforts. Combining Tristan’s attempts to fly from the top rope once again failing and Zulu’s superior matwork, Zulu forced the tap for the win. At the end of the week, the standings are as follows: Zulu Lionheart (2-0) Shaka Corbin (2-0) Ziggy Rockefeller (2-0) Arthur Evans (2-0) Hannes Lefeuvre (1-1) Zhenka Streltsov (1-1) Dr. Hypnodra (1-1) Sanya Markov (1-1) Bradley Carr (1-1) Scorpio Noche (1-1) Tristan Pacheco (1-1) Sam Horne (1-1) Sonny Urquidez (0-2) Cannonball Duvall (0-2) Titania (0-2) Oleg Makos (0-2) At this point, no one is strictly eliminated. Even a 3-2 score has a shot at being in top cut, although that would depend considerably on tiebreakers.

And we continue on with the Mystery Tag Tournament. This is the card for Butterfloor Episode #12! Oleg Makos (UCSS) and Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) versus Titania (Phoenix Rising) and Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose)
Anita Silva versus Elle Barrett (Wacker Drive Revival) In the few months — really, weeks — that Butterfloor has been active, a surprising number of wrestlers have come through its doors, either as one-off guests or regular attendants. Has this caused a roster bloat problem? Yes. Is said roster bloat problem starting to be a problem for our budget? Yes. Does our booking staff seem to care in the slightest? Absolutely not, apparently. Anyway, appearing on Butterfloor for the first time is Anita Silva, daughter of a Marine drill sergeant and freelancer in the wrestling space. She’ll be facing Elle Barrett, someone who is no stranger to military culture. Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) and Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) versus Sam Horne and Hannes Lefeuvre
String Bean (The Office) versus Landon Balls Yes, for good or for ill, the infamous Balls brother is back. Seemingly undeterred by his less-than-impressive performance last time in the ring, Landon Balls is coming back in what he’s calling his “re-debut.” His opponent will be the Office’s String Bean, who… okay, I can’t write any more of this. If you want an inappropriate amount of hype for this match, go watch one of Landon’s videos. Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) and Zhenka Streltsov versus Bradley Carr and Tristan Pacheco
Elizabeth "Liz" McKenna versus Ruthless Nicole Alger (UCSS) The remaining short listers will once again battle it out to see who remains on the short list and go on to face Keith Van Horne for the next title shot. While Butterfloor normally doesn’t allow immediate rematches after losing a title match, since Nicole drew Lexie instead of losing, she’s got another shot at a rematch. Meanwhile, Liz is coming in off two big wins during the last title cycle, both of which ended in knockouts. Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) and Arthur Evans versus Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade)
Excerpt from one of Landon Balls’ recent daily vlogs “Now, Ballers, you’re gonna see a lot of people trying to say that I’m not a real wrestler. There are going to be people trying to make fun of me losing twice. Well, you know Ballers, it’s not about how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get back up. “People will do anything and everything to discredit this match. Bro, how are you gonna say I’m not a real wrestler when I’m facing a real professional wrestler? Like, this guy has faced some of the biggest names in the business, but all the haters are still gonna say, ‘Oh, Landon Balls isn’t a real wrestler; he only does rigged show matches for drama.’ Well, I’m ready to silence the haters yet again when I beat this guy. “Now, I want you guys to smash that like button, subscribe and ring the bell, because next we’re gonna…”
Once again, there will be another Extra Butter mini-episode on Thursday, with another four tournament matches.

A quick video message from the social media account of a recent signing: "... Elle Barrett, huh? Former Royal Navy, outta Britain? I remember what my dad said about sailors from 'round here and, uh, I'm trying to keep things 'PG' for the sponsors, so that's all I'm gonna say about that.
Still... It must be nice, going around the country, thinking you can play make-believe games where you act like a real fighter after spending so much time pushing pencils and screening phone calls, right? Tch, spare me. I haven't got the time or patience to screw around and play grabass with someone who can't even take this sport seriously. But hey, you know what? Give it your best shot anyway. Try all the cute little technical rollups you want, chica. Go right ahead! But, I might as well give you a little advance warning. Once you find out what it's like to fight an alpha bitch who knows a thousand ways to choke a man out, you're gonna be wishing you could make a hasty Brexit back to whatever dreary-ass port you shipped yourself outta years ago. Peace!"

Episode #12 Results Quick Results Oleg Makos (UCSS) and Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) defeated Titania (Phoenix Rising) and Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) Elle Barrett (Wacker Drive Revival) defeated Anita Silva Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) and Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) defeated Sam Horne and Hannes Lefeuvre Landon Balls defeated String Bean (The Office) Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) and Zhenka Streltsov defeated Bradley Carr and Tristan Pacheco Elizabeth "Liz" McKenna defeated Ruthless Nicole Alger (UCSS) Zulu Lionheart (PEWA) and Arthur Evans defeated Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade)
Write Ups Unfortunately for Titania, her vengeance against Oleg for their Round 1 loss was denief. Makos and Urquidez worked together rather well, landing several double brainbusters throughout the match. While Titania did manage to land a triple powerbomb of her own, it was too deep in the enemy corner, and ultimately Sonny forced Duvall to tap. With this, Titania and Cannonball Duvall are mathematically eliminated from making it into top four. However, they still might be picked as tag partners after the group stage is finished, especially if they finish strong. Anita Silva might have made a big stink before this match, but it was a competitive showing from both women. Anita took control from at the very start, using her less-than-clean tactics as expected, but Barrett brought the match back to even footing. Both competitors then attempted pin after pin, Silva working some suplexes while Elle went for various rollups and backslides. Finally, at the match’s climax, Silva went for a big slam into the ground into an armbar, but Barrett answers back with a codebreaker into a flying rollup for the win. This was a back-and-forth match, with both teams showing their own share of tag techniques. As the match wore on, it seemed like it would be a race to see who would tap first. However, the decisive move would come after a double superkick from Dr.Hypnodra and Scorpio Noche, as the doctor delivered a running slingblade into her signature Naga’s Coils, cranking so hard it left Hannes out cold on the mat. Whatever hopes people might have had going into the match, many people probably saw this outcome. Despite String Bean’s significant height advantage, Landon simply applied his striking pressure until he wore String Bean down enough for the pin. A matchup many were hoping would happen in the group stage, Sanya and Zhenka did not disappoint. Despite Bradley and Tristan’s many attempts to keep the match on the mat and in their corner, the Russian team held on. Finally, Zhenka landed one of his trademark slaps for the pin. While the match seemed to be slightly in Liz’s favor to start, Nicole would outwrestle her on the mat, routinely wrestling her way into the advantage. Combined with her relentless armwork, and one could see Liz’s arms grow tired. However, whether it was a last ditch desperation play, a lapse in vigilance from RNA, or some combination of both, Liz snuck behind Alger and hit one big German suplex to put Alger’s lights out. One can’t help but notice a trend forming in how McKenna wins her matches… Despite the relative hype of seeing all four undefeated competitors in one match, it was not to be as dramatic as most people hoped. Ziggy’s relative weakness on the mat finally caught up to him here, as Zulu Lionheart was able to tap into his own MMA expertise and forced a relatively early tap out of Rockefeller. Round 4 of the tournament is on tonight on our minishow, with the following card:
Titania (Phoenix Rising) and Bradley Carr versus Cannonball Duvall (Blackrose) and Sam Horne
Sanya Markov (Phoenix Rising) and Sonny Urquidez (USW-F) versus Ziggy Rockefeller (Phoenix Rising/Wrestle Parade) and Hannes Lefeuvre
Shaka Corbin (Blackrose) and Oleg Makos (UCSS) versus Dr.Hypnodra (Wrestle Parade) and Zhenka Streltsov
Arthur Evans and Tristan Pacheco versus Scorpio Noche (Sakura Pro) and Zulu Lionheart (PEWA)
