And so, the deadline to submit edits has come, as Hana's Nana Yoon gets under the wire.
The tournament's first round matchups will be posted here on Wednesday. Expect some PMs this week and BYEs in the opening round.

After running a plethora of test sims including a test sim league, I have determined the seeds and First Round matchups for Friday's Star of the Jar:
1. Baby Peregrine 2. Clem 3. Luke Casey 4. El Menton 5. La Brujaja 6. Julio Pantera 7. Keith Classic 8. Princesa Torbelina 9. Illium Levantarse 10. Amber Wright 11. Bulen Peterson* 12. Bart Weston 13. Nana Yoon 14. DokoMask 15. Sprawl Ganger
With 15 participants this time, the 1-seed Baby Peregrine gets a bye. Here's the bracket:
1. Baby Peregrine (BYE) 8. Princesa Torbelina vs. 9. Illium Levantarse
5. La Brujaja vs. 12. Bart Weston 4. El Menton vs. 13. Nana Yoon
6. Julio Pantera vs. 11. Bulen Peterson* 3. Luke Casey vs. 14. DokoMask
7. Keith Classic vs. 10. Amber Wright 2. Clem vs. 15. Sprawl Ganger
(* - The Bulen Peterson I'll be using is a copy of the original. Rather than disqualifying him altogether, I've reduced his Rough Defense from 8 to 7 to comply with the rules.)
The two referees overseeing the contests will be Critical-Chan and Wonderland's The Ref.
Post any comments questions, concerns, RPs, attire requests, etc. below.

This is awesome, very excited. Do you have a rough schedule for when you'll be posting results of each round?

Excellent, I'll look forward to seeing how the tournament pans out. I hope Keith Classic was upto a half decent standard, and you didn't have to mess around too much.

I get the impression that it's not a good sign that my dude is seeded last... Still looking forward to this!

First Round results: Illium Levantarse def. Princesa Torbellina (10:28) Illium Levantarse and Princesa Torbellina kicked off the 2018 Star of the Jar in a match which told the a story of two wrestlers each wanting to dictate their own pace. The Princess opened up with a more tactical and more mat-based physical approach, compared to the contrasting speedy and more explosive Illium. Levantarse's suplexes and overall speed seemed to overwhelm Torbellina once he got into the rhythm halfway through. A butterfly suplex, Destino and jackknife pin would seal Torbellina's fate in what could be considered a lucha-style lightning match. La Brujaja def. Bart Weston (20:17) The oldest competitor in this year's competition, Bart Weston had his work cut out for him in the opening round with the wicked La Brujaja. Weston opened with some textbook wrestling against Brujaja, who responded with fireballs. Weston mustered enough strength to nail a couple press powerslams, enough to scare Brujaja with 2.9s. It took La Brujaja four attempts to submit a valiant Weston with the Just Face Lock. La Brujaja cackles her way to the Elite Eight. El Mentón def. Nana Yoon (13:11) Nana Yoon didn't let her size disadvantage deter her from taking the fight early against the largest competitor in the tourney in the master of the chin lock. El Menton took Nana's best, even kicking out of a picture-perfect bridging German suplex, before getting back into the match by imposing his will with some brawling against the smaller Yoon. Yoon even nailed a reverse tornado DDT, before Menton woke up to crush the upset-minded Yoon's dreams with a chin lock to advance and face La Brujaja. Bulen Peterson def. Julio Pantera (14:57) Bulen Peterson's brawling and Julio Pantera's lucha acumen went toe-to-toe in this First Round match. Bulen choked, elbowed and King Kong Knee Dropped his way to victory against a Julio Pantera who couldn't seem to match up with Bulen's roughhouse style. Bulen put down Pantera for good after his fourth King Kong Knee Drop just under 15 minutes. Luke Casey def. DokoMask (12:17) Donning the colors of the CRITICAL! Club, DokoMask looked for the crowd's support in his First Round match with the powerful Luke Casey. The two fought a wild match both in and outside the ring, and Doko's Misawa-inspired elbows landed flush against Casey's head throughout the bout. Luke Casey would compose himself with some impactful suplexes and power moves, before sending home the spirited DokoMask on his back with his third Spine Bomb at 12:17. Keith Classic def. Amber Wright (17:06) Amber Wright came in to her First Round 2018 Star of the Jar against British technician Keith Classic with a hot start, nailing some impressive moves, and even a powerful straight right that crumpled and rattled Classic. In spite of Amber's impressive offense, Keith withstood the daughter of a legend's tenaciousness with a couple jumping piledrivers and a Death Valley Driver to advance. Clem def. Sprawl Ganger (15:39) Sprawl Ganger, the 15th seed, succumbed early to 2nd seed Clem's headbutt-based offense early and often. Clem would be rocked a few times, including Ganger nailing a stunner on Clem, one of Clem's own signature moves. It still wasn't enough to withstand Clem and his seemingly hard head and spears. A diving headbutt would eliminate Sprawl at 15:39.
