I would like to get in on this as well if spots are still available. Have an edit idea in mind, but haven't given it a name yet.

I honestly didn't expect a turnout of entries until after August 28th. But, everyone who has expressed interest in joining so far, thank you.

I really enjoyed this when I first did it, what feels like eons ago. It helped me learn a lot about the systems in place. It's definitely going to be a good learning experience, regardless of what you get out of it.
Pencil me in for a backup of a backup of a backup of a backup of a backup... of a backup.
Or in other words: I'll take a spot if there's room come November 29th.

Bumping this for sake of promoting it, because I enjoy the idea.

I'd like to get in on this. I'll just have to tune my guy down to fit the parameters, but I have an edit I'd love to see get beat up or whatever. When I have it ready, should I just link the firepro-w link? It's my first FPW game, and my first edit, so I think I fit that requirement.
Since you brought it up, what does Cement mean? I see it thrown around from time to time, but all I can glean is "overpowered." I just want to make sure I'm not accidentally heading in that direction while creating mine.

The original rendition is Japan saying two guys are 'going cement' when they stop pulling punches. The jist in-game is us saying it's an Edit that's clearly designed to win and not really put on a match.

The jist in-game is us saying it's an Edit that's clearly designed to win and not really put on a match. So that would be things like combining parameters with moves to min/max on damage and only using A-B affinity moves?

As well as setting Ukemi to 0/0/0 (as in, no more grapple selling, only countering attempts) if I'm not mistaken. I would also assume that in some cases, Cement edits would use either 0% or 100% (with nothing in between) in Flexibility and Discretion?

You can have 0/0/0 and not really be 'cement' in the 'busted' talk if you're setup properly. Same with Flexibility and Discretion, though the hard min/max of those would be a bit weird. TravBot: Normally min/maxed is a potential way of looking at it, yes. Or if you're doing a finisher 25% of the time... etc.

Alright, got my entry. Rookie version of my custom edit. Got a 99% match against one of the default young lions on my first try. firepro-w.com/item/detail/17804

Heyo, everyone. Apologies for my temporary absence.
Just a quick update to notify that I am still taking updated and new entries for edits who will be or would like to be participating in this year's Star of the Jar tournament.
I currently have a good and rounded 8 entries (plus 1 on standby), and with the potential for 16.
