Anytime that Eddie or Benoit takes a chairshot to the head when watching archive footage. Really, any deceased wrestler now. In the same vein, Misawa taking backdrop suplexes.

Also the WCW vignettes with Sting, Vader and Sid? I don't know for sure who all was in them, I've tried to block it from my mind. But the acting was sooooo bad. You don't need sketches to get Vader over. You just need jobbers willing to sign waivers. Lots and lots of waivers. And yet the White Castle of Fear spreads... well fear in the hearts of those who deny the genius of the vignettes...
Wrestling With Wregret reviewed the WCW Baywatch invasion today and oh dear... so much to cringe...

Yeah this definitely grinds my gears. Powerbomb off a ladder through a table and it's like the current day status of the DDT? Filler? Not the smartest decision Rush has made.

Definitely the hardest I've ever cringed while watching wrestling was when my mom - who is a Dutch lady that could not conceivably be less impressed by pro wrestling - decided to try and watch an episode of RAW with me in the late 90s. The very first promo she saw was Val Venis, who kicked things off by saying (I believe in reference to New York City) "I came... I saw... and then I came again" in his typical suggestive manner replete with hip gyrations and thrusts. I couldn't sink far enough between the couch cushions after that one.

When WWE continued to do what they always do with great wrestlers like Asuka, Booby Roode, Prince Devitt (Finn Balor), Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, The Rock, etc,.

Raven and Sandman crucifix scene Then Moments from the beginning of that same show when Angle was brought into the ring and Joey Styles was hyping him up Glacier The HHH vs. Booker T racial angle When Viscera was Big Daddy V Everything that is old lady Mae Young during the attitude era Every time wrestling does a story with a baby that ends in a miscarriage

The Outsiders promo where Kevin Nash mistake a verb for an adjective Someone pointed something out to me about this a while ago and it's stuck with me: It feels like that line was botched in a different way. The adjective was "Big." It was supposed to be a mockery of "The Big Boys" from one of the biggest dudes around. He just kind of botched the delivery. Don't really think that works though when you consider the next line. "We ain't here to -play-." I think the Shockmaster is something that should have made me cringe, the guy coming with a Star War shocktrooper helmet badly repainted and some kind of terrible dress over his shoulders ... , but i couldn't because what happened this day was so hilarious it was hard to cringe when you were frankly laughing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fahljd_0xjAAnd it's still hilarious today. Kudos to Sid for for managing to keep staying in character and try to save the whole thing :D Speaking of Sid, my contribution to this list is... Sid, doing exactly what you think I'm talking about... off the 2nd rope...

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen lol
Moments that made me cringe as a wrestling fan? EVERY time a wrestler uses scatological humor.
It's just not funny to me and looks worse coming from dudes that haven't been 10 years old in a long time.

Oh yeah, how could I forget, the whole Katie Vick thing, and the whole Vince/"Dr. Heiny" sketch they did after JR had a colonoscopy. That shit made me quit watching the WWE for a little while when they both happened.

Any attempts by Vince Mcmahon to get boorish stereotypical hillbilly/cowboy characters over ala... The (Pole) Smoking Gunns- self explanatory. Honestly Bill Gunn's only worthwhile angle was as the homosexual love interest of Chuck Palumbo since that duo actually made me laugh with it's antics. The New Age Outlawz- horrible, terrible gimmick and pairing. Ugh. Total cringe. Hillbilly Jim- self explanatory and no I'm not going to clap along with the idiot. Hacksaw Duggan (Ok he was neither of these things but goddamn if ever a wrestler existed so that one could safely take a piss break and not miss anything of substance he would be it. Jim is as boring as it gets. I'd rather pay to watch paint dry than watch a single Hacksaw Duggan match). The Bushwhackers- that many fans actually cheered them was one of the first things to prove to a still young me that society is full of idiots. Waylon Mercy Skinner Disciples of Apacolypse

Yeah, agreed.
It should of been Jake Roberts but he was likely extremely out of shape and lost in his many addiction problems at the time.
It'd been so epic though had he been ready to go and selected for the angle.
Huge missed opportunity there.
