I'm starting to feel pretty confident in my original edits so be on the lookout for those soon but in the meantime... I finally uploaded a thing on steam For some reason this taunt doesn't look smooth in gif form but in the game I think it looks cool. Also is this the link I should post so you can see my stuff: steamcommunity.com/id/rickyfighters/myworkshopfiles/?appid=564230

I like'em! The first one could use another transition frame or two, but otherwise great job! :D

Rolling Lariat as a counter (thought for sure this would already be on the workshop... Maybe someone can make one where the guy sells by flipping over and landing on his stomach but for now this works.

You totally nailed the timing on that and thanks for bringing it over to this category!
I have been completely avoiding making moves in standing, run, run counter due to the amount of animation libraries but I hadn't considered how I could port some of the moves within those categories to the ones where they are missing. Standing and run counter seem to be pretty compatible.
I wish we could use the big flame and poison mist moves reliably cause I'd love counter versions of those.

Yeah for some moves its totally possible to basically just cut and paste, I just made the hitbox slightly bigger and everything else stayed the same.
I think if I were going to try to make custom frames or other fancy stuff for strikes I would start with run counters since there aren't as many angles.

So it seems like my save got gone the other day. At least now I know how to make backups and that uploading stuff on steam will help if something like that ever happens again. While starting over and looking at all my moves etc. I came up with this idea and think its pretty cool. No logic to speak of yet but that's going to be step 2. Basically he was a good guy in Mexico for decades and when he finally lost his mask he was revealed to have this grotesque skull head, and he left wrestling for a long time. He came back and nobody is sure of his motivations.

Ugh, so it's final that your save is gone? REALLY sorry to hear that.
You have been so into it the past few weeks and losing all of that completely sucks.
(I'm guessing you still have your moves that you uploaded on Steam though....hopefully) But it's amazing to see you right back on that horse and creating again!!!! 🏆
Love the concept here! A pure lucha face ends up being unmasked as a Skull head.
Nobody is sure of his motivations: "Will he eat us now or just scare us until we collapse?"
UNCERTAINTY! 😄

This is the 1st PC game I've really played since Diablo II so I definitely wasn't really thinking about system updates, or babies unplugging computers or computer freezes could mess with save files and I'd never really messed around with back ups so I'm just looking at this a learning opportunity and I'm glad it happened now and now a year from now with no backups or anything.
Luckily I just recorded a league with all my original edits so I should be able to piece together most of what made them, them.
The biggest issue I think I will have is if I want to recreate them as faithfully as I can or if I will try to improve on them as I go. I'm leaning toward the latter otherwise I'll drive myself crazy trying to find which exact yell went with what chop

I'll probably upload this to the workshop tomorrow. Thumb to the eyes followed by a lightning speed pin (with running the ropes as usual. The non rope versions of these running grapples are not accurately represented AT ALL in the mode where you are making the move. This looks how it should though in the ringside check so I guess thats all that matters. Is there a better "my eye hurts" sell? I feel like this works but I'm open for ways to improve it...

I'll try to get these up on steam sometime tomorrow I gave it my best shot to have a proper salt throw to the eyes. I even made some custom frames! I think anyone with a little artistic ability could make one twice as good but I think this is a good proof of concept at least. Inspired by what jimofmanynames has done: 2nd rope brainbuster into the 3 amigos. Off the ropes the legs sorta go through the ropes a bit (ideas on how to fix?) but not more than a lot of default fire pro moves. Overall I think this looks smooth and people could be really creative linking jackhammers and falcon arrows and whatever else. 2nd Rope brainbuster picked up and leading to a front grapple. Also looks pretty good IMO.

Wow, I love the salt throw!! 👏
And those brainbuster transitions are amazing! Did you make the custom frames for that spin? Or is that somehow in the game? Spinaroonie taunt, perhaps? It looks SO smooth and seamless!
Would love to see a strong version of a snap suplex using the momentum from the second rope brainbuster.

Nice one, surprised I thought about the Amigo from the sprawl position and not from the 2nd rope, really liking that salt throw as well, think that might be the best approximation considering what the movecraft gives us. 👍 The rope thing's under R, last time I checked. Don't know exactly how to use it, but that might help.

jimofmanynames Thanks, I'll check to see if the ropes thing fixes it or makes it worse (you never know in move craft) OrochiGeese There is a triple brainbuster already in the game with that pick up animation. Although a brainbuster into a full on spinarooni sounds like an incredible move to me. I think to link the triple brainbuster to the 2nd rope brainbuster was 1 or 2 custom frames and playing around with the fx and fy a little bit. The only issue with the follow up moves to the 2nd rope brainbuster is sometimes when things get mirrored they switch which arm the head is under and things like that. See how he switches from one side of the attackers body to the other? It probably isn't hard to fix but I'm not sure what to do.

LOL, with every new move I make and see, I forget one that's already in the game!! 🤦♂️ Sounds like some kind of mythological curse! A spinaroonie into a kick would also be cool, like a capoeira move. I know someone made a few taunts for Elena in SF3 but I haven't checked for any capoeira yet. I think to link the triple brainbuster to the 2nd rope brainbuster was 1 or 2 custom frames and playing around with the fx and fy a little bit. Maybe you can find another brainbuster where the positioning matches up and substitute the frames in place of the frames of the existing move you have when the switch happens.
