2 Edits Up on Steam The Hokkaido Bear is a veteran Japanese wrestler known for his chops, bear hug, and devastating Big Bear Knee Drop (King Kong Knee Drop). While he has slowed down a little with age, he is still tough as nails and can compete as an upper mid carder when called upon. 140 edit points The Uncanny, Astute Demolisher is essentially my take on if The Destroyer were wrestling these days. He definitely leans heel but his antics and strong technical ability have definitely earned him his fair share of fans. Like the Destroyer, he is probably an upper mid carder that can hold his own in the Main Event. 192 Edit Points.

Both of those edits look great!! I especially like Joe Otaru! 😄
I kinda want to book Joe in UBL as a mid-carder if you are cool with that.
Also, thanks for listing all the moves that you need to use them. I was wondering about the third move for Joe:
"逆水平チョップ
It looked to me like a modification of a seated chop which is HILARIOUS cause I literally tried to do that last night but just kinda ran into some timing issues (not with the move, with my schedule 😁) and gave up. Is it, by chance, a seated chop to the throat or just a delayed/powered up chop to the chest?

Yeah, please use Otaru that would be great! I hope he puts on good matches for you.
I think all of Otaru's custom moves are from the workshop (Demolisher has a few I made) but I believe the chop is the same seated chop that's already in the game just from the guard position. That seated chop would be a good candidate for tweaking though and I bet you could use that set up for elbows and lariats etc.

Yeah, please use Otaru that would be great! I hope he puts on good matches for you. Awesome, thank you very much!! 😄👍 I added him to the roster page now. In terms of alignment, I'm seeing stoic tweener. Doesn't seem like he'd lean too face or heel now and that veteran status means he's going to give his all but won't focus on playing to the crowd. I'm seeing fighting spirit and intensity but nothing violent or underhanded or overly showy. He has some very high impact moves but that fits in pretty well with UBL so it's not like he's trying to hurt anyone, just win the match. Is that accurate? I think all of Otaru's custom moves are from the workshop (Demolisher has a few I made) but I believe the chop is the same seated chop that's already in the game just from the guard position. That seated chop would be a good candidate for tweaking though and I bet you could use that set up for elbows and lariats etc. Ohhh I see, it's the same chop but from guard. That totally makes sense! I LOVE your idea of using the "seated" set-up for elbows and lariats too! And knees and kicks! I started to try to make a seated chop to the throat (with a little extra oomph) but I realized I'd need more time to do it since I have to mess with the forms to get a higher angle than the default. So that's on the drawing board for now (along with like 500 other moves! I literally can't watch a sim without thinking of a move tweak!)

Awesome! I know he is in good hands because you pretty much described Otaru exactly as I see him.
Maybe a bit on the rough side but definitely not violent or out to injure people. I'd say in terms of alignment stoic tweener also makes a lot of sense he's probably like a lower workrate Ishii (aren't we all) to where he is generally respected and liked but he doesn't ever really play the babyface in peril or rally the crowd behind him.

Yeah, he's the kind of guy who commands a lot of respect with his style and competitive spirit. His opponents probably have to ice themselves down for like 2 days after a match but he never causes actual trouble or tries to hurt anyone intentionally. That's practically a face in UBL in comparison to the rest of the roster, but he doesn't go out of his way to play to the crowd so he's a respected tweener. I know that I'll get a lot of great matches out of him. Our traditional shows need more talent like him right now since a lot of the roster is currently in the 20-person league that will probably take 5 years to complete at this point 😄
LOL @ "Lower workrate Ishii" - that's like his Fire Pro special skill 😁

There will come a day when an opponent hits the ropes for a running move of some sort and Amazon Kid recovers just in time to obliterate them with that Brass Knuckles Uraken. May their souls find everlasting peace in the next life.

All my original edits can be found here: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2226205770Ring of Fire is just a name I came up with it's not a fed yet, but I would like to do at least one angle... I would be really pumped to see these guys booked in other efeds, just let me know. First up, Amazon Kid v 3.0 Amazon Kid Junior, Mid Card Finisher: The Regular Punch (Brass Knuckles Punch) Signature Moves: Dragon Screw, Reverse Figure 4, Piranha Plunge (Top Rope Reverse Rollup Pin, low blows. Etc. For Fans of: Abdullah the Butcher, Duane Gill, Great Muta, James Ellsworth After retiring from the original FPCPP (RIP Fire Pro Club) with a defeated record in singles competition, Amazon Kid returned to his palace in an undisclosed principality in South America. For years he drank his troubles away in relative obscurity until the fateful day when one of his servants told him he should watch Transparent. It was on this day that Amazon Kid learned about Amazon Prime and Amazon the company in general. Furious that he or his Father would be associated with reading, Amazon Kid sued Jeff Bezos for rights to the Amazon name. Needless to say Amazon Kid was counter sued HARD and he ended up losing everything in the countersuit. The Amazon Kid of today is an even more desperate and brutal competitor than he was in his prime. If you step into the ring with Amazon Kid you will leave a bloody victorious mess. Next: Abuelo del D Silver Heavyweight, Upper Midcard Finisher: Abuelo-can-rana (Hurricanrana from guard counter) Signature Moves: La Magistral, La Esparda, Running Crucifix, Shenanigans For fans of: old school lucha libre, Tech Criticals, Shenanigans Creator's Note: Abuelo del D Silver uses a variety of techniques using MMA moves and transitions but he is very much a pro wrestler that was created with the intent of having entertaining matches with a variety of opponents. Claims to be the grandfather of Fire Pro Legend D Silver. While nobody can be certain if these claims are true, he does wrestle with the technique and cardio of a very old and experienced wrestler. He wrestles a traditional lucha style (minus the high spots) and can surprise opponents with his la magistral, la esparda , and his patented Abuelo-can-rana. Next Gerald Covington the 3rd (This guy came together so fast from my original concept to putting on matches that I liked)
Heavyweight, Midcard, Heel
Finisher: Nose Hook Camel Clutch
Signature Moes: Brass Knuckle Punch, Hammer and Chin Lock, Various "catch as catch can" holds
For Fans of: William Regal, The Original Sheik, Billy Robinson, Eddie Guerrero,
Creator's Note: Gerald Covignton uses a variety of techniques using MMA moves and transitions but he is very much a pro wrestler that was created with the intent of having entertaining matches with a variety of opponents.
Bio: "The True Gentleman", Gerald Covington the third, was raised in a well to do family in England where he was meticulously taught the proper way to do just about everything, sit at the dinner table, ride a horse, address various aristocrats, and of course engage in fistucuffs. As a lad he attended the Royal Academy of Professional Wrestling where he proved to be a tough competitor with amazing technical acumen. However, when his technical wrestling proved to be inadequate he would lose control and become incredibly violent. Eventually he was kicked out of the Academy and sent to America where that kind of violence and rudeness would be appreciated.
Nobody is quite sure whether Covington is a Gentleman that blacks and goes crazy when beaten up, or if he is a maniac that uses the cover of being a proper English Gentleman and Covington is not going out of his way to clear it up.
And finally the most TLDR of all Lou "the choker" Edwards Heavyweight, Main Event, Face Finisher: Body Choke Sleeper (from various positions) Signature Moves: Hammerlock (from various positions), Original German Suplex, Various slaps For fans of: Lou Thesz, Karl Gotch, Antonio Inoki, Timothy Thatcher Creator's Note: While Edwards does utilize various MMA techniques, he is 100% a pro wrestler that was created to have entertaining matches with a variety of opponents. Short Bio: Lou "The Choker" Edwards is the heart and soul of Ring of Fire. His early dominance, disappearance and reappearance coincide with the three major phases in Ring of Fire Pro Wrestling. He wrestles a hard nosed old school inspired by catch as catch can wrestling. Long Bio: Edwards got his start in wrestling in the late 1800s. He made a name for himself as the toughest guy in the Union Pacific train yards. Eventually he started wrestling full time and, working with local promoters, created and defended The RIng of Fire Heavyweight Championship Belt. His long undefeated streak increased the prestige of the belt and eventually he began traveling the world, defending his belt and participating in early martial arts exhibitions. In 1920, with Edwards already in his late 40s, he was challenged to a match by the undefeated Indian Heavyweight Champion, Maruti the Magnificent, at the base of Mount Everest. After an hour long draw, followed by another hour long draw, the 3rd match was interrupted by an avalanche that engulfed the makeshift stadium. Days later Edwards was found frozen solid and was kept on ice and shipped back to California by a wealthy wrestling fan, Maruti was never seen again. For the next 80 years Edwards was on ice until technology advanced enough to safely thaw him. In 2000 he was finally thawed out and after taking time to cope with the fact his family and friends had all passed away he decided to dedicate himself to the sport of pro wrestling. He relaunched Ring of Fire Wrestling, bought back the original Ring of Fire Heavyweight Championship Belt and began defending it wherever he could. People debate whether being on ice has slowed his aging or if his strict diet and exercise regimen is responsible but today as a 60 year old man he is just as capable of slapping or tapping you out as anyone. Rumors have begun to swirl of an impending retirement, we shall see.

I really enjoyed Amazon Kid's updated lore as well as Lou Edward's charming "man out of time" story. I'll definitely be picking up this batch of edits and seeing where they fit in with those of my own.

That Brass Knuckles Uraken is beautiful!! Total love for one of my favorite moves 😭 All my original edits can be found here: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2226205770Ring of Fire is just a name I came up with it's not a fed yet, but I would like to do at least one angle... I would be really pumped to see these guys booked in other efeds, just let me know. UBL signed Joe Oteru to a "you're totally welcome here once we start regularly wrestling again" contract (which was not signed on a cocktail napkin despite internet rumors) but I'd also love Gerald Covington! Also, I think I could do something interesting with Amazon Kid 😎 Like I said, my eyes (and booking imagination) are way too big for my actual time right now but I can see Joe and Gerald on the mid card and a bigger story with AK once I think something up. If you step into the ring with Amazon Kid you will leave a bloody victorious mess. Legit LOL on the bolded part!!! 😁 Really love how you updated AK's story to give us a look at his recent years and motivations!

Thanks Geese! I think you will really enjoy Covington, I said he came together super fast when I made him in world but actually he was loosely based on an FPR edit I made that was a pushover unless you got him bloody (I forget the name of the Super Punch Out guy who does that). Once I decided English Gentleman flowed really well, I hope.
Zealot called dibs on AK awhile back but if he doesn't mind sharing or wants to lone him out or is done with him by the time you have you idea rolling that would be awesome. I'm really happy there are still people with fond memories of him.
Also I am putting the finishing touches on an edit that I seriously had to check UBL to see if he already existed or not and seems like he might be a good fit. I won't tell you which one since I don't want to influence your decision lol.

Once I decided English Gentleman flowed really well, I hope. I will definitely enjoy Covington! Cool about the "Blood" Special skill usage too!! Although the UBL has had home bases around the world, it's current iteration started in England under Arthur Wingate's stewardship and then went to the U.S. a few years later due to INTERPOL freezing our assets thanks to Destiny. Maybe Covington will have something to say about this and request a return to gentlemanly times 🎩 Zealot called dibs on AK awhile back but if he doesn't mind sharing or wants to lone him out or is done with him by the time you have you idea rolling that would be awesome. I'm really happy there are still people with fond memories of him. Zealot should definitely book him primarily. I don't want to dilute the story he's planning. Unless I can think of a specific story that really works well, I'd rather have him stand out in Super NOVA. If I do think of something with AK, it's going to probably be related to Geese in a few years. That's the story I planned on doing like 5 years ago (lol) and it may involve Zealot and some other remaining wrestlers from the FPCPP golden age. Also I am putting the finishing touches on an edit that I seriously had to check UBL to see if he already existed or not and seems like he might be a good fit. I won't tell you which one since I don't want to influence your decision lol. It feels like a game show now - "who's behind Door Number 3?" 😁 UBL has a problem with clones so even if you check our website, realize that a clone may have been made by Destiny and so you have to check that database too, haha (just kidding - that database was itself cloned and crashed the mainframe and now we all we have are clones of Orochi Goose) Looking forward to (hopefully) guessing who you have in mind!

OrochiGeese ! I hope you get a chance to run that angle involving members the golden age of the FPCPP! There are so many possibilities. Also you don't have to guess which one I was thinking of as a UBL fit I just didn't want you to feel like I was pressuring you to add him, I just meant the edit had some of the charm that I enjoy in the UBL edits I know. Anyway here are 3 new edits. 2 are a bit on the silly side but they should still have solid fun matches. Kuma HG This gif pretty much sums him up... Heavyweight, Mid Card Finisher: Nightmare Shining Triangle Signatures: Bear Hug?! (lip lock) bear hug, grinding reverse frankensteiner, exotico hijinks, campana For Fans of: Danshoku Dino, Exoticos, and Bears Oh My! Bio: Little is known about Kuma HG before he started wrestling, nobody is really sure who or what is under the bear head. One thing that is for sure is that he is a master of mindgames. He started his career as a Tag Team with “The Hentai” Baron Charles and their Tag Team The Bear ‘N Charles Connection was a feared team that damaged their opponents physically and psychologically. Kuma HG is a master at making legit wrestling moves questionable with his signature growls and “oh yeaaaahhhs” during the match. Mutton Chops Callhoun Heavyweight, Mid Card Finisher: Mutton Chop Drop (Torturack Bomb) Signature Moves: Big Body Bomb, Scissors Body Attack, Various loud stiff chops For fans of: Otis, Tugboat, CHOPS “Mutton Chops” Calhoun is a 4X regional sheep tossing Champion from New Zealand. He also set the National Record for Most Mutton Chops eaten in a single sitting, 84! Not content with local fame, he set out to become a professional wrestler, his larger than life personality and larger than average body made him a quick fan favorite. After one of his matches his opponent complained to the interviewer “When Calhoun chops you it feels like you just got hit with a big piece of mutton!” and from that day forward he was known as Mutton Chops Calhoun (why else would he be called that?) La Calavera Morada "The Purple Skull" Junior - Mid Card Finisher: Skull End from various positions Signature Moves: Various Dropkicks, Moonsault, Chillin’ For fans of: Los Ingobernables de Japon, Skulls, chillaxing Bio: Known as “El Santo Morada” or the Purple Saint he delighted fans in Mexico with his laid back “Pacifico” attitude and his picture perfect dropkicks. Never reaching the top of any promotion he wrestled for, one thing that always stood out about him was how his demeanor changed during mask vs mask matches, while losing a mask is a devastating event for any luchadore, Morada wrestled as if his life depended on winning. One fateful night in 2005 he was finally beaten so badly the referee had to stop the match and remove his mask. The crowd was shocked to see a purple skull under his mask and he was booed and jeered out of the building never to wrestle again… After 15 years of essentially forced retirement Morada, now going by La Calavera Morada, is back and determined to end his wrestling career on his own terms and is determined to show that appearances can be deceiving.
