It was incredibly inspiring to watch him do that after all the injuries and adversity he's been through since that MVP season. Not only that but to read the responses from his peers really shows you how special the guy is to the league. As Lebron said you don't even need to like sports to see how much a story like that can influence young ones going through similar adversity to rise above. I hope this performance is a catalyst for him to revive the old Rose because the league is better when he's on his game.

Score a touchdown to close deficit to one point with little time left - most teams would just kick the point after and go into overtime.
Not West Virginia. They went for two and the win and successfully converted it. Gutsy call. 😮

Are the Milwaukee Bucks for real? They sure laid the smackdown on Golden State the other day. Long season to go yet, but I think they can go deep in the playoffs.

They are- I think with the coaching change this team could do serious damage in the playoffs. Even without Draymond (and some seriously questionable officiating), they looked awesome.

Should also be noted that Steph is hampered by another injury so there's that.

which is a huge bummer since he started the season en fuego.
The East is super fun to watch this year with Boston starting to hit its stride and the Sixers/Raptors/Bucks all looking frisky...

Can't wait for all the dirty looks Butler will give Fultz while he's airballing threes...
Contract year and no guarantees of resigning means you aren't going to get a motherload for him in a trade(plus his propensity for being ornery)

Honestly, I think Minnesota got the better of the deal despite giving up the best player involved. It's been evident for over a year that Butler wasn't working well with Towns and Wiggins and things only got worse and more dramatic from there. Now they don't have to worry about that plus they have two good shooters and a seasoned bench guard to give them some much needed depth.
Philadelphia gets a tremendous two-way talent in Butler but they lost two starters and a ton of shooting (something they were already short on with Covington and Saric) and there's absolutely no guarantee that Butler will get along any better with Embiid and Simmons than he did Minnesota's young cornerstones. You'd like to think that he'd put all drama behind him and focus on trying to win games which would increase his chances of getting stupid money next year but both him and Embiid are "alpha" types and it seems bound to blow up at some point. And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Butler and Fultz actually have a physical confrontation xD
I'm not saying Butler's a bad player but leaving both of your previous teams after "attitude" issues surfaced is kind of like a Rajon Rondo level red flag
If it works for Philly though......hoo boy
I'm not even sure who'd I'd pick to when the East with a fully-gelled Sixers squad, Captain Kawhi's Raptors, and whatever the hell the Celtics bring to the table (they are so inconsistent right now, which has to be something of a surprise, even with it being so early).

The New Orleans Saints' signing of Dez Bryant turned out to be their Achilles heel.

Rumor has it the NFL is considering moving the Rams - Chiefs game from Mexico due to poor field conditions.
If true and they do make the move, that'd be a logistics nightmare for everyone involved.
Mexico will probably never host an NFL game ever again.

If the field is as shitty as it's being suggested then that's absolutely for the best.
Money and all of that bullshit isn't worth risking everybody's careers by playing on a surface that they should never have played on in the first place.

The NFL has a procedure in place that states all teams that forgo a home game to play internationally are required to keep their home stadium available as a contingency.
Its not really that big of a deal either way- they're already committed to going back to Mexico next year.

The move to LA is official. Will Mexico host a game again? They shouldn't.
