I'll say both the clippers and bucks surprised me. I don't see the clippers beating the sun's though they are just playing so well right now even without cp3. I think the bucks should best the hawks but I can't count out the hawks. I'm rooting for the hawks because I like to see all the former coaches from my team win a championship to show how inept the organization of my team is.

I think the bucks should best the hawks but I can't count out the hawks. I'm rooting for the hawks because I like to see all the former coaches from my team win a championship to show how inept the organization of my team is. Atlanta surprised me mainly because I didn't get to see any of their regular season games. Some teams were just not regularly featured on TNT or ESPN so I missed out on an interesting year for them. I really had no expectations cause I knew so little about the team. It's really cool that Danilo Gallinari is on it though since I was a big fan of his on the Knicks (the really fun "rookie" team that precedes Carmelo's arrival) and on the Nuggets. I like watching veterans get their shot at a Championship after being in the league for so long and working so hard. The Clippers surprised me last year with their total breakdown. I wasn't too surprised they got it together just because of Kawhi's on court leadership and PG making the necessary adjustments. Reggie Jackson is so clutch too and showed it again this offseason. They have such a deep bench with a ton of experience. I didn't know if the Bucks could make it to the next level just cause there have been too many series where they were challenged and reverted to a similar, predictable style of play. That doomed them last year. It seems like they managed to improvise a little better this year and also make their shots when they needed to. Haven't caught the Bucks/Hawks Game 1 tonight yet but will later. I missed Clippers/Suns last night and regret it because it went down to the wire. Really surprised PG missed his free throws though. Also, Booker almost got CRITICALLED! in the game which was a scary sight. Way, way too many injuries but that was not a season fatigue thing, at least.

Les Habitants are playing for the Cup, the Olympics are in Tokyo, and the Giants have MLB's best record. What is this, 1964?

Les Habitants are playing for the Cup, the Olympics are in Tokyo, and the Giants have MLB's best record. What is this, 1964? It could be if pro wrestling was treated as a real sport.
Although that hip throw during the scrum that resulted in Gallagher getting juice was certainly more real than WWE or AEW combined.

Even more injuries this week.
As of last night, 3 of the 4 remaining teams in the NBA playoffs had substantial injuries to their main stars.
That is unprecedented in recent memory, at least.
Giannis' injury was like Sid Vicious level. He got tangled up with someone on the way down from a jump and his knee bent the wrong way. It was a total accident and cringe inducing. I really hope his career isn't impacted by this. Also hope that Trae Young is okay as well after he hurt his leg. No idea who is going to advance for the East now or whether either team would be healthy enough to have a real chance.

Reports say no structural damage for giannis so his career should be fine but playing in the playoffs is questionable. Rooting for a hawks suns finals. The hawks are playing well enough without young I think it's possible.

I've said this before.
Don't count out the Bucks yet. They are built for this. Next man up.

So for those of you that didn't know, I'm a born and bred Wisconsinite. I follow all Wisconsin sports teams. I first started following sports when I was old enough to understand the rules back in 1978.
In that time frame, I only got to experience two major championships, both by the Packers (1996 and 2010). Only two other times have I seen my team go to the championship or finals. One team were the Brewers, who went to the World Series in 1982, but lost to the Cardinals. And the Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team lost to Duke in the championship game in 2015. That loss was probably the most heart breaking, for me anyways.
Otherwise, it's been years of heartbreak as a Wisconsin sports fan, particularly the Packers.
So I hope you can excuse my excitement over the Milwaukee Bucks making it to the NBA Finals 😁
It's gonna be a tough series and I think it will go all 7 games. I'm gonna enjoy this ride 😁 while I can.

Oh, I definitely understand. I wish you and your Bucks the best. 😁
I really don't have a dog in the fight since it's not the Bulls or one of their former superstars (Rose or Butler) but I think it will be a competitive series. Either way it goes, we'll get an NBA Champion who hasn't won in 50 years and I think that's far more exciting than seeing a "superteam" dynasty that the League Execs covet so much.

The 7SOL era remains my favorite but this team has been on another level since last year's bubble.

What a great game last night!! That Giannis block OUT OF NOWHERE was amazing! 👏
(Someone is totally going to meme Orton RKO'ing that ball, LOL)
Middleton was so clutch and Giannis was doing everything he could on both ends. (including his pee break 😄)

After a few tries, I'm finally getting the hang of the rules for cricket and have been enjoying watching some games. Tonight, West Indies plays AUS.

Final few minutes were totally worthy of Game 5 of the NBA Finals 🏀
Jrue Holiday with that steal and OOP to Giannis will get "classic" status if they can wrap this up next game.
