If you kick a girl in the head you get a job before the team even knows how long you’re suspended as long as you say youre sorry. But if you kneel for the national anthem youre out of luck. Ahhh the NFL...

What NFL player kicked a girl (or woman, maybe?) in the head and is on a current roster?

Kareem Hunt did. Then Cleveland signed him. Sure, the league may suspend him, but teams are willing to "forgive" fucked up shit like that but are obviously avoiding a quarterback that participated in peaceful protest...

Most NFL teams sign ex AFL players.
Due to AFL having lots of focus in kicking I used to play for my local team AFL, but never got as good as any of my team mates one is playing for an academy right now hope he makes it.
Sav Rocca for example
I have a afl card of him from either Collingwood or North Melbourne from 2007.
Anthony Rocca as well I remember him playing around AFL 08-09 season before he retiared.
Chris Bryan used to play for Carlton in AFL
I reckon Sam Irwin Hill would of done a better carrer in AFL but most of got offered more money from NFL he was drafted to be a Punter.
Cameron Johnston will prob return to AFL being delisted in NFL but he played in TAC Cup with is Victorian amateur league.
Michael Dickson was overlooked at the AFL draf back in 2014 but began a carrer in NFL.

Denver does have 2 4th round picks to work with. Most likely one of them went to Baltimore. If that's all they gave up for him, it's a good move.

That Case Keenum Era sure didnt last long... Edit: Maybe they should have just stuck with Keenum-

It's another "band-aid" and not an actual long-term solution though, not that I want Denver to have any modicum of "success."
I mean, if Flacco somehow gets his mojo back and throws twice as many TDs as picks and like 4,000 yds, it will look brilliant but I'm not confident he can do that with Denver's line and receiving options.
Either way, it's an upgrade over Keenum so good on them I guess.
A 4th round pick for an aged former star that wasn't going to play again in Baltimore anyway is a fair trade.

Flacco will be a bridge quarterback. John Elway needs to get it right and draft one. There is some decent ones out there that can be drafted and groomed if the Broncos have the personnel to do so. Who did Fangio get as his OC?

A 4th round pick for $28.5 Million in cap hits for him and Keenum's contract. EL OH FUCKING EL.

Right
I forgot about Flacco's crazy contract
Yeah, they can't be silly enough to pay $40m for two QBs this season

I'm still making my way through the official parts of NBA All-Star Weekend but NBA TV and TNT has produced a lot of fun specials recently. I just watched a 30 minute NBA TV special called "Charlotte Hornets: Where the Buzz Began" - anyone who has 90's NBA nostalgia (Senator, looking at you) should check this out 😎

I liked it, but it left me wanting more (I think because it was only 5 episodes, each only 30 minutes long). They did one for the '80s too, by the way.
