I was thinking of doing that with the strike exchange moves. The game is lacking there. Maybe try some new things like clinchers that daze or taunts instead of strikes. These are both excellent ideas 💡 I especially like the one about ending with a taunt...perhaps one that causes a stun so you can then use a standing or running strike to finish. If they could just allow us to priority into standing moves, then so much more would be possible. And I've always liked the last kick in the Ibushi Rush. I'd replace that ancient ass solebutt with that and make a solebutt that stuns as an Irish Whip counter. Unless someone else does it first. The solebutt is such a great irish whip counter too, and a great counter to running moves, based on the animation of it. It's like a dodge -> kick sequence that looks great as a counter.

I know PAC does it a lot: kicks them in the gut then runs to the ropes. A lot of guys in the indie scene do it actually.
On-topic, they nailed Last Falconry. One of the better wrist-clutch moves.
