I did read this post yesterday but was pretty busy so couldn't put my two cents in. I'm sad that the development cycle is coming to an end, its been fun being part of the excitement of waiting for each dlc and seeing everyone speculate - the community is the best part of this game. Other games I am involved in have amazing communities, but the user content/modding comes from a very small proportion. This community is incredible, the creativity is on a level I've never come across before - I'm excited to see what happens when we are left as game developers! - I'm definitely behind the charity dlc, I just feel its a good cause and if I never use the content I'm fine with that
- I guess the other January dlc is the additional Stardom characters - seeing how much we all got out of the original Stardom dlc, this is very promising!
- The SUDA dlc will be brilliant, fingers crossed the original gets released as well, as I was 3 when the original game came out! Would love to play both - I wonder what we will get with that dlc, hoping for more tag-team moves!
- I assumed when I read about the parts/moves crafting that it would potentially sit outside fire pro, my thoughts with parts was it'd be similar to TheAvenger creating .tex files that can be put into the game, similar to how BGM is read in. I've re-read and it suggesting its a mode within the game (makes sense - dev tools) - I'm fine if that means you can create new shirt parts (aj styles ring attire etc) but it has so much more potential if you can bring logos into that scenario - blood stain textures, sweat textures, ripped shirt textures, real-life and original logos could all then be put onto shirts.. as its free there has to be some kind of workshop tie-in so we can download each others creations - similar to how ring parts can be linked in the workshop, you could link edits to moves/parts so a user knows they have to download all 3 elements for the edit to work.
Very exciting to hear this news, and see how much further the community can take this game

They should pull the plug on the PS4. PS5 is coming. Just focus on PC Which is rumored to be backwards compatible. World can continue on with PS5. Yep, when I get the PS5 Fire Pro World will be the first game I install on it. They won't pull the plug on supporting it for console since the majority of the Japanese demographic are playing it on PS4, not Steam.

I've heard that the wazamake tool (a move editor that is unofficially available in the game for those who poke around in the code) is kind of a mess to use but I'm hoping they will officially release something more user-friendly to work with. I would think Move Craft will basically be wazamake, but fully functional, which would be fine with me. The biggest problem with that unfinished version was the many, many bugs (incorrect offsets for wrestlers, screwed up draw priorities, functions that don't function, phantom graphics that won't go away, disappearing graphics that won't come back, etc.) Considering I've been dealing with raw move and animation data in a hex editor since 2002, any sort of GUI is infinitely more user-friendly to me, though, haha. Also curious to see how much freedom the parts maker will give us in regards to size and shapes. I really, really want tall, fancy hats 🎩 I'm fairly certain the custom parts will be limited to the same size as the existing parts, so basically, a hat would have to be at maximum about the height of Bull Nakano's hair for it to fit in there. -there better be a way to share parts and moves through the workshop. The plan certainly was to have moves and parts on the Workshop, at least. Those options have been hidden in the code since the late October 2017 update! Of course there's no telling if those plans have changed, but they haven't removed those options from the code as of yet.
As for the questions about how Parts Crafting will work, the description for the mode currently says: "Prepare parts texture for editing. Image editing can not be done in-game." Don't know if that'll mean simply "draw up your parts in external paint program, import them into game here" or what. Just seems to indicate there will be no paint tool in the game itself.

Good point that many people on this board seem to forget. I know I'm in the minority, but because of how my house is setup and where I have everything, I much prefer playing on the PS4 version. I really hope someday we are able to easily transfer wrestler edits, moves, and parts from the Steam version to the PS4 version. It should be doable.

Wasn't there some hint of a DDT DLC somewhere, too? Could maybe be that I believe they found something in the code that said ddt but that has been removed. We do know they have recorded more stardom wrestlers so a new stardom dlc has all but been confirmed

I like the idea of more Stardom DLC, because before it if you made female edits and couldn't mod it was rather slim pickings.

Just want to point out that the director did say that move craft will be free but he didn't mention the edit parts craft as free, honestly i'd find this weird if we had to pay for it but except if they clear this out it's not outside of the realm of possibilities

Given that NJPW owns Stardom now I would assume it's possible the wrestler DLC could give us both Stardom and NJPW wrestlers missing from the game right now.
The move maker and parts editor will make this game complete.
Once the development cycle ends it will also be easier for many to get into the mods as the mods should become more stable without having to keep up with updates and releases.
I think the best is yet to come for this game once the development cycle ends.

The biggest problem with that unfinished version was the many, many bugs (incorrect offsets for wrestlers, screwed up draw priorities, functions that don't function, phantom graphics that won't go away, disappearing graphics that won't come back, etc.) "Functions that don't function" = The tragic end documentary of Conjunction Junction 🚂 Phantom graphics are probably due to my phantom Jo Ryder glitch from FPD 👻 But yeah, I think we'll probably get a dolled-up wazamake that is (mostly) stable. I'm sure there will be at least 2 game-breaking bugs that Spike will have to fix within the month. One of those bugs will be related to the DLC. The other bug will turn everyone's elbow pads fuchsia. I'm fairly certain the custom parts will be limited to the same size as the existing parts, so basically, a hat would have to be at maximum about the height of Bull Nakano's hair for it to fit in there. Ahhh, well that does give a lot of room to work with given the height of her hair! Still, it appears I'll have to lean heavier into the fancy end than the tall end. Gentleman's bowler hats, it is! 😁

Are there any videos online showing this wazamake move creator in action? I’d love to take a look at it and see what it is.
