Ooh! I've been waiting for that to arrive. Need to order me a copy. :) His other books are worth checking out as well.

Yeah, this looks good. I think all C!C people should get a free copy for keeping this crazy little game alive for so long and ignoring the DNR order every other great game franchise that has passed on to pixely heaven followed! This book looks like a fun trip, thanks for the heads up!

So I bought a $100 Nintendo brand Switch Pro Controller off Amazon.ca when they got back in stock. In the meantime I had purchased 2 $25 knockoff brand Switch Pro Controllers from a seller on Ebay. I've been using them now for a couple weeks and can say... THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME!!! They even look identical, with one difference. The knockoff brand doesn't have the Nintendo Switch Icon stenciled into the plastic on the controller face. Other than that, same buttons, dimensions, color, everything else is identical. You can't tell them apart by holding them and would actually have to look closely to see which controller had the Switch logo on it. The knockoff brand even comes in near identical packaging, just no Nintendo logo's on it.
So if you're a Switch user and want to save some money, I can safely recommend that the off brand controllers look and work just as well as the Nintendo brand ones, but only cost 1/4 the retail price.

Do you have a link or a brand name? I’d like to share this controller news with some coworkers! Thanks for the tip, Nth!
Does this company sell 75% off switch knock offs, too? 🥰

Do you have a link or a brand name? I’d like to share this controller news with some coworkers! Thanks for the tip, Nth! Does this company sell 75% off switch knock offs, too? 🥰 The seller on ebay was called bestemotions, appeared to be a wholesaler as they were selling hundreds of items and they no longer look like they are registered on youtube. The controller itself has no branding on it or the packaging aside from Made in China. It comes in the same box packaging as the official controller except it has no mention of Nintendo on it. Also the box coloring is slightly different. The official box has the controller shown over a white background while the knockoff has the controller shown over a black background.
The best way to find one on ebay seems pretty simple. Just look for someone selling controllers in large amounts at around $25-$35. Chances are it's one of these ones. A quick search on Ebay showed me this wholesaler who looks like could be selling them since he has 80 sold and they are in the same price range.
Looking at the pictures of the item, it looks exactly like the kind I bought. Controller looks identical but no Switch brand on the front face of the controller.

Jerry Lynn and Sabu couldn’t even sell out the GBC’s ECW arena!

Never mind sell OUT, those are like the first three rows, so they're in theory the MOST densely populated. There are, by implication, like nine people in that entire arena.
Maybe they were predicting how well the game would sell?

A friend of mine was playing the Road to Wrestlemania mode on WM2K again and was telling me how amusingly random the match times can be on non-player matches if you skip them.
Like, the last card he played started with an almost hour-long epic between Prince Albert and Steve Blackman, for example, and was capped by HHH beating The Rock for the title in a minute and a half. By submission, no less.
What's funnier is that this isn't exclusive to PPVs or even Raw. Heat has been known to run for four cumulative hours as well.
VPW2 has the same issue from what I've seen so far. Funny stuff.
Oh, and the first main event I saw when I started my own Road to Wrestlemania was Austin defending the belt against... Michael Hayes.

I just saw a card where seven of the eight matches had a countout finish.

As many times as I've played through Championship mode, I don't know how I didn't notice that error sooner.

Haha, what game is that? The font looks familiar, but the it looks like every 16 bit/early ps1 game font.
