Skip to 1:20 (and this is already in FPWW for interference... and Carl modded it.)
Telling a wrestler to walk to the ring in a wrestling game isn't rocket science.
The gates in Korakuen and the gym go futher back and are already set up for nice entrances.
They simply didn't implement them.

Glad to see an outdoor arena. I know people have been wanting that back for a long time. I'm also really excited for the gym venue as my e-fed is small. Two I'm still wishing for though are the small studio venue and the small hole in the wall dojo from Returns.

City Gym looks awesome. Kind of disappointing to hear there's no entrances for it. Just a simple walk to the ring followed by the wrestler's performance pose would suffice.

I'm still really bummed that we're not getting a fully rendered Korakeun Hall.
I can't find video of it, but they had full entrances in FPD and fully rendered arenas.
The gym looks sort of... Lazy? But we'll be able to fix it with mods, I suppose.

I love supporting them and all but hopefully they open the game up for us to mod more I assume you're referring to PS4 (since PC already has a hefty amount of mods), and I wouldn't hold my breath. While they don't seem to mind the PC version being modded, I find it completely unlikely that they would develop modding tools for the PS4. We could see more customization tools (parts/moves have been strongly hinted at) but things you see on the PC like free cam and movelists are just not going to happen.
And if that ends up being a reverse jinx I'll take full credit.

I said this earlier on Facebook: the arena with the lights in the corners reminds me of the ROH TV arena setup. The gym arena reminds me of my local community centre and the arena with the jumbotron above the ring reminds me of a WrestleMania/Super Show arena. Looking forward to using these!

Also, I stand by this, FPD was the last truly great Fire Pro. |

Those are really cool. I do find it kinda hilarious how big the "stage" area is where they walk out before getting to the crowd area. Fuckers could have sold more seats!

I am probably alone in this but like not having entrances in the small arenas. I am sure there's a way to turn off entrances but never checked. If not they could just add it and then they could make easily make every one happy.

keep in mind that its a world of a difference between the cutscene-like entrances of previous games and the rather simplified, but more controllable(?) entrances that fire pro world utilizes.
the only thing you could really expect is the GBA versions where they come out from both sides, and that may be unfeasible for the entrance craft stuff they'll do
