Wow, that last thread was something else, huh? So! There's a new DLC coming at the end of the month that adds an entrance sequencing tool, along with some entrance attire-based parts such as promotion logos for t-shirts, and championship belts. WHAT DOES IT ADD?As previously mentioned, Entrance Craft is a new edit mode being added to Fire Pro World, offering players the ability to time a wrestler's entrance to their music; to edit their walking speed and taunts on the way to the ring; and to add pyro effects to their entrances. To help flesh out entrances, a few bits of edit parts designed for such entrances will be added - logos for the fictional promotions added to the game, as well as championship belts, have been confirmed. You can set a wrestler's attire slot as an entrance costume, as well! Besides that, we're also getting 3 new arenas and custom logos for promotions. The three arenas are: - a new dome arena that looks to be inspired by big American events, i.e. Wrestlemania - an outdoor arena with lampposts in the crowd - and a smaller arena based on a city gymnasium - though the crowd has seats and guardrails this time around. ANYTHING ELSE?Improvements have been made to the Entrance Craft mode as of the Feb. 26, 2020, patch. It is now possible to copy and paste most entrance settings from one venue to another, which makes timing the entrances easier! In addition, a new entrance taunt has been added, and it is now possible to create tag team entrances. WHAT ABOUT THE COST?It's $19.99 USD on Steam and PSN! It's not included in either the season pass or the Steam bundle pack, so there's no discount, unfortunately. WOW, THAT SEEMS EXPENSIVE!Yes, agreed, but this has been hashed out multiple times already to varying degrees of understanding. WHY ARE YOU CREATING ANOTHER THREAD WHEN THERE WAS A PERFECTLY GOOD ONE RIGHT THERE!Did you see what it turned into? :V Anyway, I want to create a fresh start for discussion on this. I'm not going to say, "follow the rules or else," but, you know, try not to fall into the same circular arguments that ate up like 10 pages of discussion, okay? Thanks!

I hope spike better clarifies how this all works before release. Based on what we know (which admittedly isn't much as usual.) there seems to be a lot of potential problems with functionality. For instance having one entrance attire for three separate ring attires. Or whether entrance crafting works for tag teams.

Seems pretty typical of them. Release an announcement about an upcoming DLC. Forget about what sort of ramifications the new content may have without considering it. It would make sense if each attire had it's own Entrance Attire slot, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I hope I'm wrong on that. Also, I hope Slot 4 doesn't become the de-facto Entrance Attire slot because I have a tendency to use all four attire slots for palette swaps. Very rarely do I create casual or non-wrestler attires, usually edit specific. Beyond the Entrance Attire stuff, I'm hoping the lighting, pyro, and other effects are fully customizable. I'm hoping that we can define specifically what color the lights are ~ Say, I really want a specific shade of gold, but not yellow, I could use an RGB value to set the lights to that specific color. Also hoping we'll be able to have strobing/pulsing lights, because I'd love to be able to give one of my edits Triple H-style rainbow lighting. Solid color lighting, such as Goldust's gold, Undertaker's blue, or Kane's red lighting would be kind of neat too, but most of these thoughts are wishful thinking and I don't expect there to be anything of this degree.

Intrigued how it will all work and hopeful the impact to edits on Firepro-W will be minimal. Still feel a DLC label next to edits is desperately needed.
Looking forward to seeing how well others implement the dlc and if it is possible to create classic AJPW entrance attires with their jackets and robes. Misawa, Kobashi etc

Misawa, Kobashi etc They've mentioned that parts are segmented, so robes, trenchcoats and other similar clothing types will be difficult to create. They also said the same thing about (mini)skirts, and they were able to figure that out, so who knows.

If trench coats and robes aren’t possible then that’s sort of killed what little interest I had but again I will just wait and see what others creatively can make :)

Based on how the Custom Entrances (both ModPack and other) mods functions, which I assume Spike used as a reference for their own functionality, it should be possible to make some guesses on how this one will work.
- Wait times before an edit enters the stage. - Taunts at both the top and bottom of the ramp. - Stepping on apron or rolling under the ropes to enter the ring, which should just be making the edit press a different button at that point. - Deciding whether to taunt on the post(s) or in the middle of the ring. - Enabled in venues with ramps only, as Yurakuen takes more than just flipping a switch to work. - Potential ability to set whether edits walk or run down the ramp. - Ability to set the custom ramp effects like pyro (once or during intervals). - Possibly one costume slot for entrance attires, since based on Spike's edits its clear that they always have an attire slot remaining. Also, it seems to be focused on wearing championship belts which only requires one slot.
I'm just interested to see whether they enable all the wacky stuff that mod does as well. Mist spraying out of the ramp? Bumping into the apron if you can run down it? Diving into the ring? We'll see. Also, whether this will be for individual entrances only since it can get pretty wonky if team entrances are enabled; just having one edit taunt on the ramp while all the others walk down it can cause problems.

I actually don't mind up giving a slot for entrance attire since I often make multiple versions of the same wrestler if they have an alternate move set. Would be nice if they could figure out coats and robes, but definitely not a deal breaker for me.

The logos for fictional promotions is interesting. I'm sure there's going to be a way to exploit that and put whatever logo you want in the game which should be cool. Not that it was already a thing with mods, but I wonder how it will work on whatever content they're adding here.
If I can get Parachute Rousseau to Flair Flop and Airplane Spin to the ring, it's worth $20 to me. I'm easy to please.

The added venues better have some variety like the old fire pro games. The current ones feel pretty similar except for arena Mexico. Korakuen hall and an outdoor venue please.

I really hope they figure out how to do robes eventually. Ric Flair has never looked quite right coming out just in his wrestling gear.

For details on what all you can do we will likely have to wait and have it in hand. It looks like you get to choose 4 taunts for the entrance, hopefully they are separate from your edits normal four. If Stone Cold can taunt on all four posts I will be very happy.
For entrance attire, it will be a bit odd since the other attires may be very different so it wont match. You would have to make the entrance attire match them all somehow. But this won't effect every edit anyway. But if you have a shirt as entrance attire, but the tights are red, the edit's green and blue tights attires will be odd to use, as they would have red in the entrance right?
But getting ANY of these features is a request I've had for quite a while anyway, so we will make good things happen with it. And it should only make mods easier way down the road on top of that. I've been loving adding entrance themes, so more use for them is better. I will still time the songs for after wins though, because that is more likely than always watching the entrance.

Please please allow an option or venue that has entrances on the side without the ramp like in the old fire pro games.
