Making Yurakuen-style entrances work requires them to make new methods/etc for it, as opposed to just using the general entrance code for any venue with a stage and ramp.
So, I can understand why those venues still don't (and probably won't) have any entrance scenes.

What's worse is that we already saw this arena in action in the trailer and NONE OF US knew it was an outdoor arena. Wow, exactly. That expressed the problem perfectly. Without any context, we had no idea it was meant to be an outdoor arena. Heck, I'm still struggling to see it without your reference picture as a guide. I hope the night arena looks better in the game and we get a better sense that its outdoors. Mosquito bites to cause occasional bleeding? I am getting more excited for the local gym arena. I used that a lot in FPR for small shows. |

Im still confused why they dont reskin some existing arenas to add some more venues. I mean it's cool to see legit different arenas like the Mexico arena but ffs reskin Korakuen or NXT arena with some new textures.

Yeah, not a big fan of those arenas. The city gym one is cool, but I'd rather have the Shin Kiba 1st RING ripoff from FPR, or the Big Japan warehouse thing or the old Michinoku Pro gym with people sitting directly on the floor and then there's the Budokan. I guess this is cool for people who want more American style arenas but I'd rather they bring back some of the cooler ones from FPR because those had a lot more personality. Hell, I'd love to get the beach arena from FPZ back. |

Honestly,Yurakuen alone allows for so much texture variety (and is so easy to modify) that I'm surprised they didn't just dump in a number of additional venues based on it. Getting a Yurakuen wall is nice though, I'm interested in seeing what custom designs will be created to replace it. |

I'm super eager for this dlc to come out, but I already know im going to be pissed off because each of the dlc has felt like they took shortcuts for obvious resource limitations. This dlc should really be coming with 5 venues minimum. Plus I'm going to be pissed about no side entrances for no ramp venues.
They got my money and I'm very happy we are getting more content but its still going to feel incomplete or a bit shortchanged.

Pretty sure modding new arenas in that gym (two flat textured walls? the possibilities are endless) made the DLC completely worth it on its own. I can see myself getting a ton of mileage out of just that feature...

Seems like this would be the perfect oppurtunity to add NJPW t-shirt logos. But I can't imagine they wouldn't be advertised in the promo picture if they were in there. Maybe we'll get a NJPW entrance attire pack down the line.
