He'll probably update us in a few days when 2K20 is out. Seems like he has been timing his updates that way to maximize their reach. NICE! It would be nice if every year around the release of 2K, they did an overhaul like this. Just an idea here, but does anyone know who uses that double knee breaker? Possibly in DDT? We can figure this out. |

We're supposed to get AEW game info 'before the end of the year'. It would be awesome to get a little AEW pack. It's not THAT unlikely. All the connections add up. It would be great to see an Ad on the show. "We'll have a game coming out next year, but for now we have this great DLC for Fire Pro Wrestling". Skateboard entrance FTW. The connections don't "add up". They're working with a company already and we know it's not Spike Chunsoft because of the EVP's obsession with an AKI clone. Kenny was in Fire Pro but that was because he was in New Japan. That's the only connection and it's clear from everything he's said that he's not a big fan of the series and his favorite wrestling games are the AKI games. You're not gonna get AEW DLC for Fire Pro, don't work yourself into a shoot. |

If they wrote the code for wrestlers to come out with belts, it's not far off from entrance attire.

I hope it’s belt entrances. Little production touches like that help you get immersed more into the matches I think. 2K20 looks like a mess this year and right as I’m burning out on FPW it would be nice to be inspired again with the game.

everyone know's it's a best of Kikutaro dlc The game does need more effortless Mutou tributes and kinta jumps. I agree that the belt entrances would be an astounding leap forward for the vanilla game in terms of entrance options. |

I'm still waiting on the belts for stardom update. I'm not sure why I'm so anxious for it. I think I'm just really wanting another update for the game. I wonder how well the real belts will translate to the edits?

Edits wearing belts was something I never really cared about because I never thought it would be possible. Now seeing that it may be possible after all it is something I am kind've excited about. That's something I have seen people asking for since I got into the Fire Pro series back with Fire Pro G, so it would definitely be a benchmark moment for the series.

If anything "adds up", it's probably Yukes leaving the WWE 2K series & announcing they're working on a "new" wrestling IP right as AEW is looking for a dev. AEW may want AKI, but Syn Sofia ain't what it used to be Yukes may be the overall more pragmatic pick.
But anyway, great to see belt entrances. Makes championship feel a little more meaningful.

You know, with 2K shitting the bed this year and probably next given 1) Yukes left development 2) 2K's deal with WWE is ending and 3) They're about to start developing for PS5, and those first few years on new consoles are always rough on both the old and the new gen games, I'd say Fire Pro is in good position to rake in some buys.
