Glad you like that. At first the stage was going to be more flat against the wall with only half pillars. And there was going to be like a little desk. But then I got the idea to shape the stage like the big desk you see on the floor of congress (not sure what it's called). Think it would work better as a small arena that looks like a congress room, or like an actual outdoor arena that looks like the white house yard? edit: ALSO, 700 VIEWS, OMG TY EVERYONE.

I think the big desk is a dais
And you could do both, sort of, with the backdrop being the front of a house and the crowd seating patterned after congress seating But it being outdoors conflicts with the "Office" part

Do both, he can come out of his office onto the front lawn. Like it's in a park and there is a little whitehouse facade at the stage. Coming from inside was the idea of the pub brawl, but maybe it worked better here. I did think of seating people like the congress room. But the camera goes so close to the ring during the match that you'd think the crowd was empty! I did a proper modeling job on the balconies, and tessellated the 'ico pro' banners so that they can hang nice and smooth.

Hope there's AC in that Oval Office. Sen would be dying in a 3 piece suit.

That is a thing of beauty. What do you think boss? Indoors or out? The idea for the indoors was something like this: Close inner walls with that pillars / painting / doors motif, and the 3 layers of balcony. Hope there's AC in that Oval Office. Sen would be dying in a 3 piece suit. Who needs AC when you have 5000 fans in the building? :P

Both ideas sound great, I really like the outdoor concept, though, looks like a proper DC venue for sure on a well kept lawn.

I love The Room venue you did. Thanks! I was mostly screwing around with that to work off my 3D modeling ring rust. I don't think I touched Blender since 2012, and it changed a lot too. If I did finish a roof all the way, I'd go all out and have one of those roofs with the big neon glowing letters (F P W!), and a proper 2 door roof access to use as an entrance. I figured that Shinbika 1st stage venue I linked above would take awhile. I was going to put a few minutes to get started this morning, and finish it up later. But I guess it's simple to a fault. :) Just needs a "Fire Pro" name. Studio 1st Ring

Can anyone tell me what these things are along the tops of both walls. I was thinking maybe they had something to do with the roll up doors behind those curtains on the left, but the right side has them too, and it doesn't seem to have those doors. Getting detailed here. Looking at lots of reference pictures. It's basically a thin steel frame, like a big tool shed with a cobbled together second floor in the wooden towers on either end of the stage. There seems to be a Gorrila Position type room up there too. A very interesting venue.

Decided to go all out on the stage. Almost ready to unwrap everything and texture it. Just these things holding me up. No one knows what are? I'm thinking maybe wall mounted space heaters? They are in a tin can after all.

They do look like heaters, or part of the AC.

I've seen HVAC units that look really similar to those, so yeah, most likely that^

Since you guys are the official Critical Club HVAC experts (as of NOW. Double stamp. No do overs) I won't argue. -Added heaters -Segmented and split the curtains model, so they can 'flow', and reveal the sliding doors underneath. -Copied the lighting from the actual venue. Needs tweaking, but it has atmosphere now. This is a very interesting arena aesthetic-wise. It's just 4 walls of aluminum siding, some garage doors to get the ring in, and a makeshift stage with a few boards. Seats 290 if they sell seats on the actual stage. I might have to extend that floor along the bottom just so it doesn't abruptly end when the camera pans out. Now the 'fun' begins. I'm not used to texturing like this.
