The DDT counter to a powerbomb-esque move is American or Junior return style I think. I know the rana counter is Luchador return style, but I'm not 100% sure on the DDT. Yeah, I've seen the entry for that move before. It's a pain in the ass to find, but it's accessible. Looking at all the issues we had when learning waza makes me wonder if Spike will attempt to create tutorials for it. It's not an easy thing to teach, but it's not something that Spike should rely on the community for. Hopefully they provide very detailed instructions on what everything does; every row, column and field option. Don’t expect too much or anything at all in regards to tutorials and even if we get them don’t expect perfect translated notes. Fire Pro has always been a community game, from renaming characters to logic explanation guides. I don’t think this new mode will be treated any differently.

To be fair, they DID go on stream to explain the personality logic settings, for example. There were also detailed explanations on how to make custom ring graphics. Another lifestream with the animator explaining the animation tool would be gold.
I've refrained from using mods, so the announcement that a custom move tool (and even custom graphics?!) is indeed coming is wonderful. This would make the game immortal.

I've been on this planet a decent amount of time and it wouldn't be the first time I figured out how something works on my own.
I've been modding games for the better part of two decades (if not longer than that). This stuff is practically second-nature to me anymore. If you name it, there's a pretty good chance I've figured out how to break it and put it back together again. That's how my mind works: In order to understand why something works, I have to break it and reassemble it. Of course, that doesn't apply to "everything", but I digress.
The only reason I haven't really sunk my teeth into Wazamake is because I don't know Japanese, And I'm fairly certain if I gave myself the time for it, I'd learn Japanese, too.

A recapper I used to read would literally refer to that move as You Can't Powerbomb Kidman, like that was its proper name. There's a very similar DDT reversal in the game already, although I don't think reversal animations can currently be pulled. Maybe that would change if they release an "official" version, though. Give me an example of when that counter triggers and I can probably find it. Sounds like a move I would want in my normal moveset options. It's the Junior counter to higher-angle powerbombs.
