I kinda wanna make a bunch of submissions and stuff. Like a lucha-style scorpion deathlock, where they also apply a holdto the opponent's arm; or a proper Pluma Blanca. Would be cool to have some double team 'submissions'. Like a sharpshooter / crossface. Or one guy stomps on the arm, and the other guy stomps the leg.

Yeah, wazamake as it existed in the prior builds of Firepro is... Very clearly incomplete. There's no English option, moves that generate particle effects (mist and fire) or cause the user to pull out an object (fork, scythe, Chairs Illusion) do not work. There's technically a save/load function but the command to import the moves into the game aren't functional, either. And it's VERY poorly optimized. Interesting and thanks for the explanation 💡 So those who have been using the wazamake program essentially extracted or accessed it from inside the Fire Pro code? Therefore, has it been updated with each new version of FPW? I've never really wrapped my head fully around the concept of what people have been doing with it. I just know that it's a difficult program to use for various reasons, not the least of them being the lack of English option. I've got so many move ideas I'm sitting on. Tomsbstone Submission - A basic tombstone piledriver setup, but it loops at the end so the attacker keeps getting up and down on his knees to keep driving the opponent's head into the mat until they submit. *looks both ways and whispers*"Danshoku version too, please..." 😉 The Hair Splitter - The opponent is forced to kneel, and then the attacker comes up besides them and pulls a single strand of hair up and then splits it down the middle. A signature / entertainment move for someone in PPW. That is VERY creative and disturbing! Love it! 😁

That can be how move gets reversed. I just know that it's a difficult program to use for various reasons, not the least of them being the lack of English option. Wazamake was removed from 2.0 by Spike, so the people making moves have been accessing it with a modded version of 1.02. There have been no updates to wazamake since then, so nobody really knows what Spike plans on doing with it. I think a general polishing up of the current mode is a reasonable expectation; it will probably maintain the same functionality with some minor additions so players can use the tool to import moves directly into the game. I don't think it will be any easier to use (besides being translated to English), but if you're willing to spend the time and effort to figure it out then you can make any move you want.

I imagine whatever they develop for us to create moves will be cumbersome and annoying at first and will take time to figure out.
It won’t meet everyone’s expectations but even if it’s just merging two moves together and splicing starting and ending frames then it will be enough for I. No harm in keeping expectations in check.
If renaming moves tanks the games frame rate to single digits then I don’t think optimisation is their strong suit but gotta stay positive too :)
There aren’t many big style moves I want to make, things like a Gorilla Press into a Tombstone Piledriver and a chokeslam into a backbreaker, Running blockbuster on a seated opponent.... that’s about it

Enemy At The Gates - A top rope death valley driver where the opponent's spine is laid out across the guard rails. Probably not possible, especially since the distances are different. I've had this idea going back to the RAW 2 on XBox days. Maybe I could modify it so the back hits the top rope, and they tumble out of the ring.
The ropes are too bendy in real life for this to look painful, have the victim land half-on/half-off the apron edge so their spine is perpendicular to the edge could be a good alternative.

Sort of off topic, but with this DLC anyone think there's a chance they include new camera angles? or even 1 new camera? Love the idea of create-a-move feature, no matter the level of sophistication but the most wanted thing for me right now is a new camera angle for the PS4 version
Also, anyone know what they mean by importing custom graphics? for wrestlers attires? graphics for menu images? arena design?

Good call. But at that point it just becomes the same as the normal DVD to the outside, and not really worth it. We'll have to take Geese's idea and have a top rope DVD into Danskhuko Dino's tights. I had another move idea where you reach behind you, grab someone's neck, and then high speed whip them over your shoulder. I think I saw someone do that in a twitter gif recently.

Nope, the moves/edits/crowd were all animated for the default angle. Using anything else causes graphical bugs and would force Spike into additional testing just for one new angle. It's something that will only be available through mods, since bugs and weird graphical glitches come with the territory.

Is there any chance we'll get new/customizable arenas? Because I'd be way into that. Like, I'm all for custom moves and stuff, but it'd be really awesome to have a gymnasium or some other small, small venue type. I'll even settle for just being able to change some colors on Korakuen without mods.
That being said, though that is absolutely my #1 most desired thing in Fire Pro, I'm also pretty excited about custom moves. Depending on how user friendly it is on release, there might not be many spots that I just absolutely want to create myself, but I do really wanna make a 450 diving closeline.
In Wazamake is it like you're sequencing individual animation frames or what? And what's the likelihood of existing modded moves being ported over upon the official release?

I'm sure the devs will ensure that modded moves work with their update, as it's a collection of free moves that Spike doesn't need to create or bug-test themselves. And many of them are better than Spike's, with direct references to wrestlers from other promotions that Spike couldn't create themselves.
Honestly, I'm expecting official wazamake to result in many people downloading custom moves and uploading them as their own creations; but that's the risk of making anything public at this point.
Customization of venues is unlikely; outside of Yurakuen the arena textures are a nightmare to work with.

Matsumoto did mention additional venues at one point so that's something I'm still optimistic about.

All this Danshoku talk...makes me wonder...what if instead if a Shining Wizard you could customize something where you can have him do the actual Shining Hump?
I used to rp as a vampire character named Kindred waaayyyyy back in the day. His move was the Impalement (Avalanche DDT). I'm thinking an Avalanche Karelin's Lift might be better if it could be customized on the PS4.
