How much was the Takayama DLC? Like 3 bucks? And I get that it is for a worthy cause, totally get it, but that’s 1 wrestler and a ring. Comparitively, each Stardom wrestler averages to $2 for this DLC.

I think this dlc feels like the most valuable one to me even though it has some of the least added content. But there is so much stuff I immediately knew I wanted to use and know I'll get even more use. While the njpw dlc content I feel like I just kind of stumbled into some part use while with stardom it's been I'm gonna use these moves for sure and I will use almost all of these parts.
Everybody has their own value. If it is tooich for you wait for a sale. The njpw bundle was just $15.

As much as I would like the DLC I can’t justify spending £16 on it when I feel all I want is the moves. I’ll get it eventually but there isn’t enough to make it an instant “must get now kind” of purchase.
Yet those who got it, I hope they enjoy and I look forward to see what people can do with the new parts, maybe that will entice me to pick it up :)

There was a ring in the Takayama DLC? There was no ring in the DLC. There was a Takayamania ring, but that one was for free and I can't remember if it even was a officel one or a community item.

Decided to listen to, well all the themes in the game tonight and the Stardom wrestlers have a variety of themes that I can get behind for many reasons. I may start giving my edits themes now.

The Takayama DLC came with no new visual assets and one new move, which was a spot that happened one time, against one guy (and which Takayama was on the losing end of, so technically Don Frye should have that move). I bought it to donate to the cause, essentially, but the DLC itself has been of nil practical use to me.
Stardom comes with a handful of new moves (and to be honest, I'd have liked to see a few more), a ring, EVERY wrestler (I believe) has their own voices and entrance music, and the little matter of expanding our visual options for female gear by close to FOUR times.
Is $20 kind of a lot for DLC for an indie game? Yeah. Is it worth it to me? Considering that I'll be playing this game for most of the next decade, it's not even a question. I also just watched Mayu Iwatani vs Io Shirai because this pack made me interested. (Spoiler: it was good.)
There are gonna be people to whom it isn't worth it, and I can't fault anybody for reaching that conclusion. But anybody who's read much of this thread should have a pretty damn educated idea of what this DLC is or isn't at this point, so that decision is on you.

I live In Canada, so this DLC on the PS4 cost me around 30 bucks. Not sure if $3 per wrestler is worth it as I don't create my own edits, so the new parts/moves are basically useless to me. I use the PS4 version without custom edits and use the base NJPW and, now, Stardom gals. Hell, I even retired the SWA guys since I don't use them.

It's like night and day. I haven't really been super disappointed by STARDOM, but I kind of stopped watching it this year because Bea Priestly is absolutely useless as Red Belt Champion. Get that shit on Momo, Utami, or at the very least either Mayu or back on Kagetsu. Her run has been abysmal and I can't wait for it to be over. The rest of the gaijin (foreign) talent have been varying degrees of "okay" to "fantastic". Bobby Tyler is aight, and Sadie Gibbs (While she was there) was probably my favorite outside talent. Every other talent, barring some of the rookies (Who are really green and not featured often) are varying degrees of excellent. I can't really say much about Andras (because she came in as I was losing interest), but everyone else has some sort of entertaining quality to them, with Starlight Kid being my absolute favorite out of the whole roster. STARDOM and AAA have undoubtedly been my favorite rosters to watch the last few years.

Arisa Hoshiki has to be my favorite. The way she executes strikes, including her follow through just feels unique. Like she makes everything her own.

These parameter levels are...interesting. I could drop most of these girls right in with my heavyweights. I'll be rescaling a bit there...they would annihilate most of my existing female wrestlers. 😄 I think they're a little bit too high but if you consider that Stardom is supposed to be the best women's wrestling out there, it makes sense. The main issue is that the old Joshi from Fire Pro Returns were rated much lower...but that was 14 years ago and since everyone except Bull Nakano and Ofune is either still active or recently retired, I'm just going to pretend that their stats are based on more recent versions. So, current Aja Kong at 100 is fine, it's like how Nakanishi was 175 in Returns but only 103 in the NJPW DLC.

I have had a quick play with some of the women and some of the moves are nice! Did the patch do anything else other than making editing our edits easier?
Also, this game has been out now two years. I'm a PS4 player and I guess they are never going to adjust the short character limit on belt/promotion names.
