Just started poking around with it. General impressions:
These parameter levels are...interesting. I could drop most of these girls right in with my heavyweights. I'll be rescaling a bit there...they would annihilate most of my existing female wrestlers. 😄
The running boot looks really solid. More forceful than the existing running front high kick, not as "jumpy" as the jumping one...basically your straight-up, Japanese wrestling running face kick. Wish it was a standing strike, too.
The boot to a face down opponent is great - just a pro-wrestling-style kick/stomp to the face as they're getting up. The body language is a little feminine/flaily, maybe, so it may not work on everybody. The Face Wash at the same position is similar - just a condescending shove with the boot to their head as they're trying to pick their head up. Both of these are super great basic heel stuff, especially the latter.
The hair whip has been talked about a fair bit, of course. I'm still excited about how good it is for joshi, heels, and especially joshi heels.
The parts here are where it's at. Yes, they do all come with just the one attire. That one attire per wrestler singlehandedly gives us multiple times the female-fitted parts we had a day ago. Some of these costumes literally have 9 layers of parts. The base parts still seem to look good with the upper layers removed, too (like patterns that might normally be hidden by a layer still continue under it), so we are talking a TON of customization potential.
It's basically analogous to the New Japan DLCs, except we didn't have that many parts for women before. Like, quick count, it looks like we had about 24 female upper-body parts before. We just got about 65 MORE. If you make female PCs or real-life female wrestlers, there are just so many more options now.
Hair options aren't as earth-shattering; we do have like 700-ish already, so ten more isn't life-altering. They look okay. Arisa Hoshiki does have her lighter streak as a separate layer and not built-in, so that's another option for multi-toned hair, which we don't have a ton of. Her famous kick looks good, too, although I was hoping we'd get it from a couple positions.
Also, every wrestler, it seems, has a voice sample called Mic Performance, and it is basically them cutting an entire promo, and I find this completely hilarious. I'm gonna give somebody the Brody bark taunt with one of these samples.
