Nice! Can't wait to sim him in early Big Japan death match recreations, lol (or reunite the J-Tex Corporation). I was wondering if, after Kerry, you could work on Haku/Meng? Hearing all the "Meng Stories" makes me wonder how an edit based on the official edit of him would do against the SWA guys, lol.

Haku's coming along. It takes longer since I need to translate the moveset.
But looking at his moveset, that's when you realise you don't need 100 moves with tons of flip to get over, or at least you didn't back in the day.
Headbutts, Kicks, Chops, looking like evolution missed a few of your genes and having this aura of being a total bad ass alpha who could end any mfer if he felt like it. That's Haku.

It'd 100% get over now too. It's just easier for guys to do flips and shit than to have offense that looks believable.

Having a hypnotic afro doesn't hurt either.

He's pretty much done now.
The original had a dropkick as his Finisher. I reckon that was replacing something else, probably the Savate Kick. So I made the switch.
Special only had one Finisher per wrestler, no Specials. This Haku will have 4 specials: Jumping Pile Driver, Mongolian Chop, Headbutt and Backbreaker. No Tongan Death Grip, that came later.
102 points. That's to be expected, despite his all the stories, Haku was a midcarder at best for most of his career only main eventing occasionally and he wasn't a big deal in Japan.

The Haku/Meng I read about backstage could have been easily booked as a main eventer! There is just about a unanimous feeling from wrestlers that Haku was one of the most legit fighters on any roster. It's too bad we never got to see his ferocity get acknowledged by a bigger push. King Haku was one of his biggest accomplishments and that was very early on. His run as Meng got varied success. Sometimes he was booked as a guy who could take out anyone on the midcard and some on the upper card. But we never really got the kind of ferocious run as Umaga got in WWE years later. And Umaga didn't quite have the sense of "agency" as Meng in WCW had. Anyway, great looking edit! Will download now! 😎

Reminds me I still plan on making a shoot style Meng as he may have fought in NHB era MMA.

Meng in UFC 1 would have been incredible!
I imagine Meng getting frustrated at Royce Gracie's tactics and going all tongan death grip on him 😁
Listening to Jim Brown discuss Meng would have made the show even more enjoyable!

Heh, I don't know. Borga got humiliated a couple UFCs later and he had a legit background.
Haku had his sumo background and a hell of an aura. I think Gracie with his technique and Shamrock with his conditioning would have handled him. Gerard Gordeau could have rang his bell, and Kevin Rosier in better shape too, as he was, it would have been a wash. I think he could have taken the rest of the field, IMO.
Plus, a lot of the things he's famous for doing would have been illegal even in the cockfighting days of the UFC.

How to the Anthology edits play with the in-game NJPW guys? Also, Are there any edit makers in the workshop you think they sim well with?

My guess is they'll fit in well since the NJPW edits should be Cement (meaning they primarily aim to win).
But some of the NJPW edits are also OP compared to the rest of the Fire Pro canon, as are the STARDOM girls even more compared to the rest of the canon Fire Pro girls.
Find edits that are Cement (you can search for them) and look for high download numbers, that's the best I can tell you.
