No, the wrestler limit increased from allowing 1000 to 1500. The limit on BGM has not changed. Edit: Wait, what? It actually does say the max number of files is 1500 on BGM Import. That has to be a mistake. Import a bunch in and see if it lets you :)

Hit a wall with one of the story missions on the PS4 version and am now looking forward to seeing if the modders figure out a way to export all the rings/wrestlers from fighting road to the workshop on Steam.

That has to be a mistake. I couldn't believe it either, my man. Yes, we now have 1,500 custom BGM slots on the PS4 version. That's substantially awesome.

Do take note that, unless you encode them at a low bitrate, you probably won't be able to use all 1500 custom BGMs, if you're insane enough to try - the PS4 file system still has a hard limit on save data size of about 900-950MB, and the music will be competing with other data for allotted storage space.

They increased the number of edit slots for wrestlers to 1500, so the BGM increase I’m skeptical of. If true, I’ve got a ton of work ahead of me. That would probably convince me to buy the Entrance Craft DLC too.

I didn’t think to ask, but did they include any new edit parts with the Storyline DLC?

You can now also copy and paste Entrance Crafts between venues for an edit. Thank god, some nice things in this patch. The Heel pin glitch is still there though.

I didn’t think to ask, but did they include any new edit parts with the Storyline DLC? Yes, but you have to beat story mode to unlock any new edit parts and moves. Beating it also unlocks the roster for use in exhibition matches if you are so inclined, it seems. That or just Sammy/Notorious and Sumio.
EDIT: the "heel pin glitch" is that heel-type wrestlers are supposed to keep opponents in submission holds after the bell rings and also do post-match attacks when they win by pinfall... except they don't let go of pins when they win.

Hopefully there is a button combo that unlocks everything.

You can swap appearances in edit mode now. Awesome, now if they would just let you copy appearances to other edits that have moves and logic set up...

Those new moves look great! Played the first match in the new DLC and it was pretty fun, looking forward to seeing where this story goes.

It's the first thing I checked when I booted up the game after I heard about. I'm at 80 songs so far. It's confirmed....1,500 custom music slots. At least, that's what it says.

Low bitrate plus a short track length (say, what, 30-45 seconds per entrance theme?). It's doable but a lot of work. You know, timing is great sometimes. New DLC today, forecast for a big snowstorm here tomorrow. Meaning, no work tomorrow for me possibly and lots of time to lead Morio's kid to his (hopefully) happy ending. I want Slender in this.

Speaking of swapping stuff, will we ever be able to swap moves between direction slots at any point like in Returns (at least, I think it was in Returns)? It gets a bit time consuming doing it manually.
