so was just curious, i host a fire promoter mode thing on stream every friday. since the stream in question isn't entirely firepro it doesn't qualify to be added to the list of promoted streams which i get. what i'm curious about is, would that count as an e-fed or is a promoter playthrough something entirely different? trying to get the videos a bit more exposure (they regularly struggle a bit in views due to the niche subject matter i suppose). if it doesn't i'll just use the 'now streaming' topic. thanks and sorry if this was spelled out and i just missed it

It doesn't matter all that much, really.
I don't stream an e-fed per-say, but I do just fine. It's still Fire Pro.
You could also run your Promoter Mode game as an e-fed if you like.
If you're asking if there's some kind of rule where it makes any difference, then no, there is no rule that distinguishes one from the other.
We don't particularly care one way or another is what I'm getting at.

I think a Fire Promoter run-through can definitely count as a way to portray or supplement an e-fed experience, especially if you are using edits in Fire Promoter that you use in your e-fed (like I do) or if you are treating it like an e-fed with ongoing storylines and such. You can use the monthly events as your actual e-fed matches too so I think it definitely classifies as a tool for an e-fed, at the minimum.
