Hey guys,
I'm a total noob when it comes to video capturing. Is there a good and easy software that works well with fire pro? Same question about video editing. I just want to capture a match or make a nice music video with highlights. Give me a free and paid options please.
Bonus question - what is a good software for screenshots? Need one since F12 isn't working with Carl's patch and I have a fetish for taking screenshots of all my matches (bad time for fetish jokes, I guess...). In any case, I need something that can make multiple screenshots with a single button press, without me having to Alt + Tab or pause the game every time I want to take one.

Streamlabs OBS is a good choice, as far as I know. It's a bit easier to work with than the standard OBS, and it has a more robust dashboard for Twitch integration; as well as easy video transition shortcuts and overlays for streaming.
I can't think of any good free video editing software, but if you asked me a couple of months ago, I could have pointed you at a humble bundle that included Vegas at a deeply reduced price... sorry. :(
I use ShareX for screenshots (previously known as puush). The only downside is that it will include the window borders, unless you set up a screen region and a hotkey for taking screens from a previously setup screen region.

I used to use Lightworks for some video editing, there are lots of videos online. I got Vegas in a humble bundle and use it now, but Lightworks is pretty solid for free video editing. I purchased lifetime Xsplit and I love it, but OBS is standard.

What operating system are you running? If you have Windows 10, you should have the Xbox app pre-installed which comes with something called "Game Bar". That is an internal video capture tool which I find to be very usable. Check your apps/programs and see if you have the Xbox app. Press "Windows" + "G" to open "Game Bar" and then you can start recording as well as customizing your settings. One cool thing about Game Bar is it allows you to not just capture video in the present/future, but also up to 30 seconds in the past. So let's say you are simming a match that you didn't intend to video capture but you see a really cool spot. You can just press "Windows + Alt + G" and it will actually record up to 30 seconds before you pressed it. That is as long as you enable that feature to begin with. It's like taking "Clips" on Twitch. As for streaming, I think it has streaming function but I've never used it. It takes pic captures as well. I'll use that for pics or I'll use the native "Snipping tool" app. I've tried OBS for streaming but I don't think my computer is so great with it. It runs really slowly/choppy. I tried Lightworks for editing and it initially worked but then stopped recognizing my captured videos so I deleted it. I haven't had a video editing program since then. I really just want Windows Movie Maker back but that isn't an option for Windows 10. I would absolutely love a quality free software program for video editing. If anyone knows of a quality, free software program for video editing, Sonny and I would appreciate it!

Thanks guys, I'll try OBS. Not interested in streaming for now, just video capture. Can I also edit the videos from OBS?
Will give ShareX a shot too.
Geese, I actually turned off the Xbox app since it was (probably) causing some issues with Heroes of The Storm. Thanks though.
Edit: oooh and animated gifs? How do I easily make those?

Thank y'all for turning me on to OBS ! I didn't know about it and had been wondering about ways to record cards/ matches. I'm not worried about streaming or anything , but to be able to record it for my own personal wrestling universe is awesome.

Animated GIFS work fine though:
