Now that we have more room to stretch our legs ( thanks Brick and CC!), I'm using a question I asked before in the Questions thread but turning it into it's own topic hoping that we can all figure this out. What is the purpose of sending wrestlers on Training Expeditions? Has anyone noticed any benefits so far? It would be good for us to catalog them. - Parameter boosts? - Popularity boost? - Style change? - Meeting new wrestlers as a benefit for contract negotiation or some type of wrestler chemistry? Is it a way to keep a wrestler slowly cooking on the back burner while focusing on other wrestlers? I sent about 20 wrestlers on 1-year expeditions and the ONLY wrestler that came back with anything to show for it was Naja Mask. His benefit? He made a FRIEND in Mexico 😀 Seems like that was an inroads to a contract negotiation so it was worth something but it wasn't the stat/parameter boost or Popularity boost (in that region) I was expecting. I was thinking that there could be two reasons for this: 1) Sending wrestlers with D popularity in your region (even if they have won matches before) won’t allow them to gain popularity elsewhere so you need to increase their popularity first before they go on expeditions. 2) 1 year isn’t enough to see real gains for most wrestlers. Or some combination of above. I'd love to hear what some of your experiences have been and also how Management of the Ring treated it.

I keep sending wrestlers on these expeditions and the only thing I get in return is them making friends with other wrestlers from the region I send them to. It's almost like another scouting system with wrestlers as the scouts. I don't know if audience rankings go up if I team the wrestlers together. I also don't know if there's any other benefit like a popularity boost. It seems like D wrestlers don't get anything from the expeditions. Maybe higher ranked wrestlers do but I haven't really tried that yet.

Just had a bunch of guys return from a Training Expedition and got this message:
"During their training expedition, Jasper (Woodruff) got in good with BDG, This could be our way to get our foot in the door."
So apparently Training Expeditions can also allow us to forge potentially better relationships with other promotions in the region that the wrestler had the Training Expedition in!
