Did we get anything else with the Fire Promoter DLC update? Like moves, clothes etc? I haven't bought it yet and was just curious if i'd missed anything.

No, not really. They didn't announce anything apart anyway so.
It could be possible they export the Promoter defaults to the base game (like 128 or so wrestlers) in the mean future, but not much more.
What is stopping you from buying it? The price? The mode itself?

I wanted a Sim manager not a manager mini game. For me Well you had a whole year to exactly now what you were getting. Don't wanna be an asshole but you shouldn't be that negative with something just because it doesn't adjust to your expectations, as mechanics and the core concepts go.
