Okay, this is getting crazy for anyone following the Abandoned / Blue Box / Hideo Kojima (Small Island) / Hasan Karhaman / Silent Hill web of conspiracy craziness; because they've just recently put up this image on twitter now adding Metal Gear into the conspiracy.
We can see the vague shape of a man with an eye patch over his left eye. Both Solid Snake and Solidus Snake wear an eye patch on their left eye at various points while Big Boss wore his eye patch over his right eye.
Too many coincidences going on with this story for me to dismiss all these hints as circumstance. And if this is leading up to something Metal Gear related it would make sense for it to be a convoluted mess with 'Abandoned' being a tongue in cheek note about the Metal Gear series supposedly being abandoned. Of course the whole thing could just be the desperate wishful thinking of millions of Metal Gear fans.

This has just got to be a new studio trying to maintain relevance and hype for their game that's just gonna backfire on them again and lead to more harassment.

Maybe the "abandoned" title refers to the style of play of the original Metal Gear game!
Would be kind of fun/funny to have a small studio put out a stealth, top down 2D game called "Steel Axle" or something like that. If it isn't, someone use "Steel Axle" as a Fire Pro name for Hogan or something 😄

Lots of cool/unique stuff in the Nintendo indie spotlight, but this one caught my eye and filled me with hope for a proper spiritual successor to one of my favourite old Sega series, JSR/JSRF!

I think I've bought every iteration of Skyrim that has come to a Playstation console and still have yet to even install the game. Now another new edition has been announced for PC and next gen consoles releasing November 11th; Skyrim Anniversary Edition and it's coming as a free upgrade if you own Skyrim already.

I somehow have managed to never play a second of Quake in my entire life, I’ve always wanted to try it (I’ve never gamed on a pc), so I guess this is my chance?!

I've always preferred the first Quake for it's bizarre, Lovecraft-meets-Satanism aesthetic, though I'm aware I'm in the minority on that one. Cool to see it still bein' a thing in 2021.

Well, that was a short lived thrill, Quake joins my dubious list of motion sickness inducing titles (Half-life 2 from orange box, and timesplitters 2), so I’ll have to tinker with the turning speeds and some other crap, otherwise I’m deleting it 🙁
On a lighter note, Spelunky is finally where it belongs, on the Switch! 1 and 2 came out a few days ago, one is priced decently out of the gate, hopefully 2 goes on sale sometime, I’d love to try it as well!
