Man, I remember playing the original Beneath a Steel Sky in my youth, that game was amazing. :) It'll be exciting to see a sequel for it.

Reminds me of a western themed version of Deadbolt
And I just wanted to add that I am loving the synthwave soundtrack to Project Warlock.

Yeah, just cancelled both my order for Cyberpunk and Watch Dogs Legion as they are now both going to pretty much be PS5 launch titles. I'll order them again if/when they get PS5 listings put up for them.

Ghost of Tsushima only a few weeks away now. On twitter they announced a few days ago the game has gone gold.

Cyberpunk 2077 new trailer with breakdown and analysis from CD Projekt Red
I'm still resentful of no option to switch to third person perspective and don't buy the reasoning for FPS only, but other than that things are looking phenomenal. Honestly I am not even going to bother playing this on a PS4. I think you pretty much need to go next gen to fully experience it.

I really hope the PS5 has backwards compatibility. I bought the PS4 so late in its life cycle and would be willing to trade-it in to get some money off the PS5 if I knew I could use all my PS4 games on it. I also wonder how Red Dead 2 would look on PS5. Not sure if it can be upscaled. Also, those indie games are cool. Carto and Heavenly Bodies look interesting. Creaks has some kind of subtle "World of Goo" vibe that I'm picking up. Backed a few games on Kickstarter but here's one still in the pledge state... GARLIC! 🧛♂️💨 That looks really fun though, I like the character design 🧄

I also wonder how Red Dead 2 would look on PS5. Not sure if it can be upscaled. 99% of PS4 games are gonna work on PS5. The big question is whether or not they will support PS1-PS5 on the same machine. It would be like Spike releasing an official move editor for Fire Pro... oh wait. 2020 is crazy enough that it may happen. The only PS4 games that won't work on PS5 will be ones that use some kind of crazy hardware trick to accomplish some kind of obscure coding problem. Even so, they could fix it with a patch. It's because any games on PS4 that have a physical copy also exist on the store in at least one region. On PS5 you'll pop in a PS4 disc and it will download that game from the network. You won't be running it from the optical drive at all. The file it downloads will be a PS5 version of the game, not a PS4 version. A slight tweak, but a very important one. Upscaling is another story. They could patch in a PRO PRO mode for certain games to run native or the console could do its own upscaling with less impressive results. Or they'll just do what they always do and re-release it with a new price tag and call it REMASTURD.

The last statement I saw from Sony is that they believed in generations and did a lot of implying there would be no backwards compatibility besides ps4. I wish I could find the statement but I heard it read on a podcast.
