This league is as if hustle and ecw had a baby. I can't get enough of how far fetched it is.

Yes! The friend I watch it with used to hate it, couldn't stand how cheesy the backstage segments were. Eventually he came around and now he's hooked.
The current season got off to a rough start, but it seems like they're getting back into the swing of things. The triple threat casket match a couple weeks ago was fantastic, and I loved Mil Muertes vs. Cage last week.

I have mostly given up on TV. That show is the ONE exception.

I've watched one episode. It was pretty original. No time to watch more.

LU is the best hour of wrestling on TV right now for me. I was kinda bored with UL3 though because it was all just wrestling and not much story. Guess that tells you my favorite part of LU (considering the wrestling was pretty on point).

Very excited to see where the Rabbit Tribe's current story is going.

I enjoyed LU from seasons 1 - 3, but I find I have no interest in watching the newest season.
As silly as it is, I just don't like the aesthetic all that much.

I haven't watched any of the new season yet either but I feel like I've heard that they made some changes I may not be crazy about (like hiring Tommy Dreamer) so I'm in no hurry, and that kinda saddens me.

I feel like there's something missing in this current season. It's hard to really pin point it. We're five episodes in? I think. And I'm still waiting to feel "Yes, Lucha Underground is back!" I really loved the first, and second seasons. The third was alright, but this one? I don't know. The wrestling is good. Some of my favorite characters are back. Maybe it's because they killed off the Dario character in the previous season. He was such an integral part of the show. It's hard for me to accept that the same actor is now playing his twisted father. Just something isn't the same this season. Hoping it eventually picks up though.

If it makes you feel better, Tommy Dreamer has only had one appearance in the Aztec Warfare match. On the other hand, they also hired Jack Swagger. The new season hasn't been too bad though, mostly average but we got a couple great matches in the first five episodes. Episode 3 had a fantastic triple threat Grave Consequences between Fenix, Jeremiah Crane and Mil Muertes, and episode 5 had a great hoss fight between Muertes and Cage. Story-wise, Matanza's in a pretty interesting angle that I'm excited to see the result of, and the whole gauntlet story is still going. Right now, I'm mainly interested in the Rabbit Tribe story that started in episode 5.

The Rabbit Tribe was my favorite new thing in season 3. I can't tell you why for sure but it's probably Paul London's codpiece.

I only excuse Antonio Cueto being played by the same damn guy as Dario because Luis Fernandez-Gil is that fucking good.

Just finished episode 6 (last night's episode) and it's probably my favorite of this season. New debut: Dezmond Xavier debuts as Dezmond X. Best new signing so far imo. Had a really good match with Paul London for the final ancient Aztec medallion. Next week is the Gift of the Gods Championship match, the final lineup is ... well, it was Mil Muertes vs. The Mack vs. Son of Havoc vs. Dezmond X vs. Ivelisse vs. King Cuerno vs. El Dragon Azteca Jr.
Antonio Cueto announced an impromptu over-the-top battle royal where the winner could choose a person to remove from the championship match. It came down to Mack and Son of Havoc, and in a show of respect to his teammate, Havoc eliminated himself.
Mack decided to remove Mil Muertes from the match, with the line of the night: "I'd like to say The Mack ain't afraid of no man, but the truth is... Mil Muertes scares the shit out of me." We also got a fun match between Johnny Mundo and Vibora, continuing the Worldwide Underground vs. Reptile Tribe feud, and a solid main event of Pentagon Dark vs. Cage.
