Is it possible to change the name of your main promotion once you begin a new Fire Promoter game? Is it possible to add new edits from the workshop to an active Fire Promoter game?

So for sponsors, when you pick a sponsor are you locked in for the # of years mentioned or can you cut them early if another sponsor shows up? I'm assuming the former.

I want to start a promotion that’s a mix of lucha, Japanese wrestlers and hardcore wrestlers, what’s the best style to pick? Strong?

Promoter seems very unstable. I started a game and it crashed after the first event, which was a shame as it was a great success. Started again and the first event was only a partial success but it did not crash. Second event was a great success and it crashed again.
It really kills immersion to have to repeat events. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix?

so I signed Marty Scurll from NJPW and once he signed, Ispotted he was one half of their tag champions.
What's the best way of getting the belt off him? loan him back to NJPW? Tried and they dont want him. :/
I'm half tempted to just sign his tag partner whoever that was and take the other strap off them as well... but the can I defend that as part of my show?

Yea, “stealing” belts is part of the fun haha. Invite his partner to a show and have them defend

Do you want to sign them to your roster or invite them to a specific event? I think there may be a difference as to how you are allowed to set up title matches for wrestlers not on your roster. As long as a wrestler is on your roster, you can defend ANY Championship that they have on one of your shows, even a Championship from another promotion. However, if you just invite a wrestler to your show and have them win a title WITH a wrestler you signed, then you have to keep inviting them to defend the title. I found this out the hard way. I invited Jorge Martin (a freelance wrestler from Mexico) to my promotion's show (UBL) to tag with Naja Mask (my contracted wrestler). They challenged two of my contracted wrestlers for my promotion's tag championship and won. So Naja and Jorge are the new UBL Tag Champions. I figured that since Naja is my contracted wrestler, I could put the tag belts on the line automatically. I wasn't allowed to without inviting Jorge to the event where I wanted to have the match. The Title was "blocked out" from me choosing it. I could have Naja in a regular match, of course, but I couldn't have them defend their Titles without Jorge also being invited to the show. Of course, I assume that this wouldn't be an issue if I signed Jorge outright but my roster doesn't have any remaining space right now so I'm holding off. What I want to try is inviting Jorge to my show and have him and Naja win Tag Titles from another promotion. Then I will lend Naja to that promotion for a few events and see if maybe that promotion also invites Jorge too. There's no guarantee though. And my guess is that Naja would just be holding onto that Tag Title until I decide to invite Jorge to my show again and have him and Naja lose the Titles.

I stopped playing it all together until they fix the freezes, but it doesn't seem the general rule. Some people suffer them a lot, some others never saw a glitch. I know I'll be able to play it in some months, I don't have any pressures since I'm going to university, but goddamn it's been a chore. I'm lucky for not being a computer dummy and like to run Excel feds. That old Carlzilla KoC guide is godsend

I restarted on hard difficulty and on year 3 month 5/6. It's definitely taking longer to build up rank since other promotions start with so much $$$ One thing i noticed is that rival promotions keep their roster under 20, and when they release other wrestlers they do not seem to sign nearly as much as i am. seems a bit odd, would like rival promotions to have bigger rosters to have more fun with cross promotion/broker contract match vs match.

No-shows are killing me. I had a big card booked with Shawn Michaels vs. Nick Bockwinkel (both invited wrestlers) as the main event. 2900+ in the American Small Hall.
At the start of the card, I got a message saying Shawn's no-showing because he "doesn't agree with the promotion's style."
THEN WHY'D YOU AGREE TO WRESTLE FOR US? Go find your smile, prick. ;)
Seriously, is it smartest to invite wrestlers who share your promotion's core style?

Right above the "Set a Title match" in the event menu is an option that says something like "Set match rules" option. Select that option then select the match with the invited wrestler who has a different style. Then you'll see the familiar "Match Options" mode. The top option will allow you to change the audience ranking style of that particular match. Change the default style (which will always be the style of your promotion) to the style of the invited wrestler and you should be fine. They won't reject your promotion's style anymore. Keep in mind that they may still no-show the event but not for that specific reason. I've had a lot of no-shows for ridiculous reasons like "personal reasons" which I imagine may be what they say when a wrestler's health is "normal" or "poor." (Just make sure that if you invite two wrestlers from different promotions and have them in the same match, that they have the same style or else its likely that one of them will no-show.) Honestly, I save the game in a different slot and keep trying to start the event until none of the invited wrestlers no-show. Fire Pro is unpredictable enough with the RNG for match simming. I'm not also letting the randomness of no-shows ruin my events even when I've catered to my invited wrestler's match styles. I just keep loading and restarting the event until all of the invited wrestlers stay and then I run the card through.

I had a hilarious moment when I was running a fed with all my boxers up against the defaults. At one point the smallest fed sends their champ over to participate in one of my shows, all S-1 matches, naturally. Well, the wrestler ends up randomly matched up against George Foreman. So, right when the show was about to start, he pulls out, obviously wanting no part of dealing with Big George. Wrecked my attendance for that show, but it sure made me laugh.

Been playing this a bit using the default wrestlers. Some questions I hope someone can answer....
Why is there a shortage of womens wrestlers? I'm on year six and there are only 4 women in my game. I have one signed up but the other three refuse due to different styles.
Was there a total number of default wrestlers announced? I ask as I have been scouting for AGES and they never find anyone anymore. Also, I have never seen anyone in the European Free Agent Section.
Has Spike said anything about updating this mode in the future? Battle Royals are needed.

Where do “parts unknown” wrestlers show up in the free agents?
