Diving Lariat C - since B doesn't really work for heavyweights, I tried to see if the default could be made to look better

The default diving lariats are just clotheslines with no actual arm movement. I thought the same, but it turns out it has a full arm swing on impact : O It happens in one frame, though - just arm all the way out, arm across face, but you never see it in action 'cause by then the attacker's already behind the defender The weird little animation choices you notice while movecrafting, man Wow, that's really interesting! I never knew that at all 💡 Looks like I gotta give that move a bit more credit than I have but still wish we actually saw the movement in action, LOL. They animated one second of it and we can't even see it!! 😭 So many great new moves in the past week! Elbow Drop B is really great, a huge improvement over the defaults! Fist Drop is much better too - it has a cool sliding/gliding motion that looks really natural and adds to impact. Wrist-Clutch Burning Hammer is vicious and perfect with a great bump! Enzui Go 2 Sleep may be even more vicious which is an accomplishment! Rolling Arm-Trap Crucifix is a great pin move for a specific edit I have. Half-Dragon Suplex would rule for like 5 edits I have and oh man, I love that move! So much *SNAP* to it and Vertical Tiger Suplex B! Speaking of *SNAP* that Razor Brainbuster B has it to spare! Really like the Leg-Trap Spiking Spinebuster and it would also be good for power wrestlers who work/weaken the leg. Hammer Lariat is brutal! The Fierce Elbow Smashes are great - already put them on someone! Triangle Jump Frankensteiner and Diving Elbowdrop Attack are lunacy of love 😁 All the new edits are great. I really like Kraken Hageshi and Maru!

:3 thanks Geese Also I started on some waist and thigh pe'a/Samoan tattoo parts last night, which I've been meaning to do for... like a year or two now. Unlike most pe'a and tatau in general, these aren't meant to represent anything specific in their designs (...even though they clearly do). I made the mistake of drawing them smaller than post-it notes, and Illustrator's live-trace function was not kind to them for it, but after looking at them on parts sprites, I think ultimately it won't matter too much Waist: Thigh: Live-traced/vector:

That is really beautiful stuff. Have you thought about making a tutorial on how to work with parts? I fear Parts Craft.

Not really. I'm terrible at writing tutorials, but it's all just image editing anyway, any half-decent photoshop or gimp tutorial would probably do. The way I usually go is make a design (however, sometimes all digitally, sometimes hand-drawn first), warp it so it fits the sprites (in illustrator so it doesn't get all blurry), then paste it back into photoshop and cut it out of the sprites so it looks like it belongs in the game. Then maybe some manual painting if need be

I use an old program called PaintShop Pro, which doesn't have all the options that Photoshop has. The tricky part for me is the drawing of the parts on the parts in different angles and positions.

Yeah, it's a lot easier to draw a part, then warp it for the different angles, but that also kinda depends on what you're trying to make With some things you can use default parts as a starting point, though; I used some of the hems and stripes as guides for the kneebraces, for example

I have been wanting to make t-shirt logos for the front, and tattoos to have a few more options.

Logos are easy enough, and easier still if you switch to photoshop and can find TheAvenger3's photoshop actions Tattoos can be a pain in the ass, but depends on the size. For anything that wraps around, I think you can sort of get an idea of how I do it from this series of posts: criticalclub.com/post/44509/thread

I might give it a try at some point. I'll try a shirt logo to see how it goes.
