Well, not exactly new, I may have tinkered with this game in the past...
Anyway, I just picked this up, and my first mission will be to rebuild early 2000's Osaka Pro in as much detail as possible. (Yes, the Mandoras will be included.) I've already got the ring mat designed, plus one wrestler that I haven't seen anywhere else (Tigers Mask). My second mission will be the WWF Attitude Era, however, it seems as though these wrestlers have already been created many times over with a great attention to detail. (Yes, Naked Mideon has been included.) I'd rather grab all of these dudes from one creator who designs brilliant CPU logic, sooo... is there anyone on this site who has created some great Attitude Era edits?
Second, what is Fire Promoter? It seems like I need this to successfully run a promotion, but it's not released for PS4 yet, correct? Are there any previews out there?
Third, the current limit for edits on PS4 is 1,000, correct? And this will expand eventually? Any limit on rings, belts, etc.?
Sorry for all the n00b questions, but this game has me fired up to relive some past Fire Pro glory.
Thanks! -BW

I think Avenger3 is on PS4. He's one of the popular ones, at any rate. I don't play on PS4 so I can't be of much help when it comes to the Workshop on there.
Fire Promoter is the "GM mode" a-la Management of the Ring mode in past Fire Pro games. I forget which game it comes from because I don't pay attention to Fire Promoter news. I'm better off going the pen-and-paper route to track that sort of stuff anyways.
The edit limit is 1,000 last I checked. I'm not sure on the limit for rings, belts, etc.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I just found a creator that has practically everyone from the Attitude Era, but it's not Avenger3. I'll check that out.
Yeah, I'm used to running my own promotions manually, but it would be incredible to have the game manage it for you, or at least help manage it. I'll do some more research.

Try searching Firepro-W using Japanese names. くいしんぼう仮面 will return more results from Japanese players.
Promoter mode sounds as if it'll be very much like MOTR on Final Fire Pro. There's not been a lot released about it. I think the limits are all being increased in a future update but not date set.

Should be mentioned that Fire Promoter will (99% sure) be a self-enclosed management mode. If you’re expecting it to track your ongoing results, champions etc etc, you’re gonna be disappointed

Fire Promoter is just Management of the Ring from FFP on GBA, but with nicer graphics.

Dawnbr3ak3r , bowbood - I've put up a ton of ring stuff for the PS4, but I haven't been porting my edits over from PC. I know a few people had been at one point, but not sure how many edits or who all was doing the porting. I'm TheAvenger on PSN. sofia ( MaikeruRX-78) has a ton of awesome stuff up on PS4, as does Lord Worm ( CBlkHawk13). Miguel-Francisca is pretty great, too, and he put together a recommended creators list for the PS4 that breaks down language, edit era or region, highlights, logic, moves, and points used.

Oh wow, your ring work is incredible! I could spend hours just setting up all of those classic WWF/WCW rings. That creator list looks helpful as well.
I can imagine porting edits over manually would be a massive chore. Too bad the two platform creation types aren't compatible (a'la PES 2019 PS4/PC), it would be a massive boon for us console players.

I know, the way PES handles moving files from PC to the PS4 is the gold standard. I'd love to see some way to move stuff over quickly or in bulk. If that ever changes, I'll push everything I have over.
The one wrestler port I did took about 30 minutes, but ring stuff is easy to upload as it's just the same file going to a different place. It's a lot of time that could be used making new edits on PC, and long term, I'm worried about how long the Fire Pro PS4 community will be around, at least compared to the PC community.

Geese! Great to hear from you brother. :)
I have to say, it's pretty incredible just to have an old-school Fire Pro game on a modern console. There are so many projects I want to get started on, I can't decide which.
